1 Thessalonians 5
1 But as to the times and the moments, there is no need, friends, for anyone to write to you.
୧ମେନ୍ଦ ହେ ହାଗା ମିଶିକ, ନେ ସବେନ୍ ବିଷାଏ ଚିଉଲା ହବାଅଃଆ ଆଡଃ ଅକ ନେଡାରେ ହବାଅଃଆ, ଏନ୍ ବିଷାଏରେ ଆଲେକେ ଆପେତାଃତେ ଜେତ୍ନାଃ ଅଲ୍ କା ଲାଗାତିଙ୍ଗ୍ୟାଁଃ ।
2 You yourselves know well that the day of the Lord will come just as a thief comes in the night.
୨ଚିୟାଃଚି ନୁବାଃରେ କୁମ୍ବୁଡ଼ୁ ହିଜୁଃ ଲେକା ପ୍ରାଭୁ ହିଜୁଃଆଏ, ନେଆଁଁ ଆପେ ବୁଗିଲେକାପେ ସାରିତାନା ।
3 When people are saying “All is quiet and safe,” it is then that, like birth pains on a pregnant woman, ruin comes suddenly upon them, and there will be no escape!
୩ଚିମ୍ତା ହଡ଼କ ଜୀଉରେ “ସୁକୁ ଆଡଃ ଜେତାନ୍ ବର ବାନଆଃ” ମେନେତାନ୍ ଇମ୍ତା, ବାର୍ଜିଆକାନ୍ କୁଡ଼ିତାଃରେ ସେଟେରାକାନ୍ ଦୁକୁ ଲେକା ଇମ୍ତାଗି ଇନ୍କୁତାଃରେ ଜିୟନଃ ସେଟେରାଃ ଆଡଃ ଇନ୍କୁ ଜେତାଲେକାତେ କାକ ବାଞ୍ଚାଅଃଆ ।
4 You, however, friends, are not in darkness, that the daylight should take you by surprise as if you were thieves.
୪ମେନ୍ଦ ହେ ହାଗା ମିଶିକ, ଆପେ ନୁବାଃରେ ବାଙ୍ଗ୍ପେୟା, ଏନାତେ ଏନ୍ ହୁଲାଙ୍ଗ୍ ବେଗାର୍ ସାରିତାନ୍ଲଃ ଆପେତାଃତେ କୁମ୍ବୁଡ଼ୁ ହିଜୁଃତାନ୍ ଲେକା କା ସେଟେରା ।
5 For you all are children of light and children of the day. We have nothing to do with night, or darkness.
୫ଆପେ ସବେନ୍କ ମାସ୍କାଲ୍ରେନ୍ ଆଡଃ ସିଙ୍ଗିରେନ୍ ହଡ଼କ ତାନ୍ପେ । ଆବୁ ନିଦା ଚାଏ ନୁବାଃରେନ୍ ହଡ଼କ ନାହାଁଲାବୁ ।
6 Therefore let us not sleep as others do. No, let us be watchful and self-controlled.
୬ଏନାମେନ୍ତେ ଆବୁ ଏଟାଃକ ଲେକା ଆଲକାବୁ ଦୁଡ଼ୁମ୍କା, ମେନ୍ଦ ଏୟନାକାନ୍ ଆଡଃ ଚିର୍ଗାଲାକାନ୍ବୁ ତାଇନ୍କା ।
7 It is at night that people sleep, and at night that drunkards get drunk.
୭ଚିୟାଃଚି ଦୁଡ଼ୁମ୍ତାନ୍କ ନିଦାରେକ ଦୁଡ଼ୁମାଃ, ଆଡଃ ଇଲିଆର୍ଖିରେ ବୁଲଃତାନ୍କ ନିଦାରେକ ବୁଲଃଆଃ ।
8 But let us, who belong to the day, control ourselves, and put on faith and love as a breast plate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet.
୮ମେନ୍ଦ ଆବୁ ସିଙ୍ଗିରେନ୍ ହଡ଼କ ହବାୟାନ୍ତେ, ମେଡ଼େଦ୍ରାଃ ତୁସିଙ୍ଗ୍ତେୟାଃ କୁଡ଼ାମ୍ରେ ତୁସିଙ୍ଗ୍କାନ୍ ଲେକା, ବିଶ୍ୱାସ୍ ଆଡଃ ଦୁଲାଡ଼୍ରେବୁ ତୁସିଙ୍ଗ୍କାନଃଆ । ଆଡଃ ବହଃରେ ଟୁପୁରି ତୁସିଙ୍ଗ୍କାନ୍ ଲେକା ଜୀଉବାଞ୍ଚାଅରେୟାଃ ଆସ୍ରାବୁ ତୁସିଙ୍ଗ୍କାନଃଆ । ଏନ୍ତେ ଆବୁ ଥାବର୍ରେବୁ ତାଇନ୍କା ।
9 For God destined us, not for wrath, but to win salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us,
୯ଚିୟାଃଚି ପାର୍ମେଶ୍ୱାର୍ ଆବୁକେ ଖିସ୍ ନାଗେନ୍ତେଦ କା ମେନ୍ଦ ଆବୁଆଃ ପ୍ରାଭୁ ୟୀଶୁ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ୍ଆଃ ହରାତେ ଜୀଉବାଞ୍ଚାଅ ନାମେ ନାଗେନ୍ତେ ସାଲାକାଦ୍ବୁଆ ।
10 that, whether we are still watching or have fallen asleep, we may live with him.
୧୦ଆବୁ ନେ ଜୀଦାନ୍ରେ ଜୀହିଦ୍କାନ୍ ଚାଏ ଗଜାକାନ୍ ତାଇନ୍ରେୟ ଇନିଃଲଃ ମିଦ୍ରେବୁ ଜୀହିଦଃକା ମେନ୍ତେ ଇନିଃ ଆବୁନାଙ୍ଗ୍ ଗଏଃୟାନାଏ ।
11 Therefore encourage one another, and try to build up one another’s characters, as indeed you are doing.
୧୧ଏନା ନାଗେନ୍ତେ ଆପେ ନାହାଁଃ ରିକାତାନ୍ ଲେକା ମିହୁଡ଼୍ ଆଡଃମିହୁଡ଼୍କେ ଜୀଉରାଡ଼େଃ ଆଡଃ ଦେଙ୍ଗାଇପେ ।
12 We beg you, friends, to value those who toil among you, and are your leaders in the Lord’s service, and give you counsel.
୧୨ମେନ୍ଦ ହେ ହାଗା ମିଶିକ, ଆଲେ ଆପେକେ ବିନ୍ତିପେ ତାନାଲେ, ଅକନ୍କ ଆପେ ଥାଲାରେ କାମିତାନାକ ଆଡଃ ପ୍ରାଭୁଆଃ ସେୱାକାମିରେ ଆପେୟାଃ ଆଗୁଆଇ ଲେକା ସାଲାକେଦ୍ତେ ଚେତାଅପେତାନାକ, ଇନ୍କୁକେ ମାଇନ୍କପେ ।
13 Hold them in the very greatest esteem and affection for the sake of their work. Live at peace with one another.
୧୩ଆଡଃ ଇନ୍କୁଆଃ କାମି ନାଗେନ୍ତେ ଇନ୍କୁକେ ପୁରାଃ ଦୁଲାଡ଼୍ତେ ମାଇନ୍କପେ । ଆଡଃ ଆପେ ସବେନ୍କଲଃ ସୁକୁରେ ତାଇନ୍ପେ ।
14 We entreat you also, friends – warn the disorderly, comfort the faint-hearted, give a helping hand to the weak, and be patient with everyone.
୧୪ମେନ୍ଦ ହେ ହାଗା ମିଶିକ, ଆପେକେ ବିନ୍ତିପେତାନାଲେ, ଆଲ୍ସି ହଡ଼କକେ ଚେତାଅକପେ, ବରତାନ୍ ହଡ଼କକେ ଜୀଉରେ କେଟେଦ୍ ଏମାକପେ, ନାରାଦୁରାକକେ ଦେଙ୍ଗାକପେ, ସବେନ୍କଲଃ ସାହାତିଙ୍ଗ୍ ଜୀଦାନ୍ ବିତାଏପେ ।
15 Take care that none of you ever pays back wrong for wrong, but always follow the kindest course with one another and with everyone.
୧୫ଜେତାଏ ଏତ୍କାନାଃରାଃ ବାଦ୍ଲାରେ ଏତ୍କାନାଃ ଆଲକାଏ ରିକାଏକା, ମେନ୍ଦ ଆପେ ସବେନ୍ ଇମ୍ତା ମିହୁଡ଼୍ ଆଡଃମିହୁଡ଼୍ଆଃ ଆଡଃ ସବେନ୍କଆଃ ବୁଗିନାଃ ରିକା ନାଙ୍ଗ୍ ସାନାଙ୍ଗ୍ପେ ।
16 Always be joyful;
୧୬ଜାନାଅଗି ରାସ୍କାଅଃପେ,
17 never cease to pray;
୧୭ସବେନ୍ ଇମ୍ତା ବିନ୍ତିପେ ।
18 under all circumstances give thanks to God. For this is his will for you as made known in Christ Jesus.
୧୮ସବେନ୍ ଲେକାନ୍ କାଜିକରେ ଧାନ୍ୟାବାଦ୍ ଏମେପେ । ଆପେ ୟୀଶୁ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ୍ଆଃ ମେନେସାରେ ଜୀଦାନ୍ ବିତାଅକାଦ୍ ହରାତେ, ଆପେ ନାଙ୍ଗ୍ ନେଆଁଁ ପାର୍ମେଶ୍ୱାର୍ଆଃ ମନେତାନା ।
19 Do not quench the Spirit;
୧୯ପାବିତାର୍ ଆତ୍ମାକେ ଦୁକୁ ଆଲ୍ପେ ଏମାଇୟା ।
20 do not make light of preaching.
୨୦ପ୍ରାଭୁଆଃ କାଜିଏମ୍କେ ଆଲ୍ପେ ହିଲାଙ୍ଗ୍ୟେଁ ।
21 Bring everything to the test; cling to what is good;
୨୧ସବେନାଃ ବିଡ଼ାଅକେଦ୍ତେ, ବୁଗିନ୍ତେୟାଃ ସାବେପେ,
22 shun every form of evil.
୨୨ଆଡଃ ସବେନ୍ ଲେକାନ୍ ଏତ୍କାନ୍ତେୟାଃ ସାଙ୍ଗିନେପେ ।
23 May God himself, the giver of peace, make you altogether holy; and may your spirits, souls, and bodies be kept altogether faultless until the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
୨୩ଅକ ପାର୍ମେଶ୍ୱାର୍ ଆବୁକେ ଜୀଉସୁକୁ ଏମାଃଏ, ଇନିଃଗି ଆପେକେ ସବେନ୍ ବିଷାଏରେ ପୁରାଃତେ ପାବିତାର୍ପେକା, ଆଡଃ ଆବୁଆଃ ପ୍ରାଭୁ ୟୀଶୁ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ୍ଆଃ ହିନିଜୁଃ ଇମ୍ତା ଆପେୟାଃ ସବେନ୍ ଆତ୍ମା, ଜୀଉ, ଆଡଃ ହଡ଼୍ମକେ କା ଚିଟାଃଅ ଲେକା ଦହେପେ ।
24 He who calls you will not fail you; he will complete his work.
୨୪ଆପେକେ ହାକାଅନିଃ ସବେନାଃ ରିକାଏ ଗିୟାଏ, ଚିୟାଃଚି ଇନିଃ ପାତିୟାରଃଲେକାନ୍ନିଃ ତାନିଃ ।
25 Friends, pray for us.
୨୫ହେ ହାଗା ମିଶିକ, ଆଲେ ନାଗେନ୍ତେ ସବେନ୍କ ବିନ୍ତିପେ ।
26 Greet all the Lord’s followers with a sacred kiss.
୨୬ସବେନ୍ ହାଗା ମିଶିକକେ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ୍ ଦୁଲାଡ଼୍ତେ ଜହାର୍କପେ ।
27 I order you in the Lord’s name to have this letter read to all the brethren.
୨୭ସବେନ୍ ହାଗା ମିଶିକଆଃ ଆୟାର୍ରେ ନେ ଚିଟାଉ ପାଢ଼ାଅଃକା ମେନ୍ତେ ଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ପ୍ରାଭୁଆଃ ନୁତୁମ୍ତେ ଆପେକେଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ବିନ୍ତିପେତାନା ।
28 May the blessing of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
୨୮ଆବୁଆଃ ପ୍ରାଭୁ ୟୀଶୁ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ୍ଆଃ ସାୟାଦ୍ ଆପେଲଃ ହବାଅଃକା ।
