Luke 5
1 Now while the multitude pressed on him and heard ha D'var Elohim · the Word of God·, he was standing by the lake of Gennesaret.
ਅਨਨ੍ਤਰੰ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਰੇਕਦਾ ਗਿਨੇਸ਼਼ਰਥ੍ਦਸ੍ਯ ਤੀਰ ਉੱਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਤਿ, ਤਦਾ ਲੋਕਾ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰੀਯਕਥਾਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਤੁੰ ਤਦੁਪਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਪਤਿਤਾਃ|
2 He saw two boats standing by the lake, but the fishermen had gone out of them, and were washing their nets.
ਤਦਾਨੀਂ ਸ ਹ੍ਦਸ੍ਯ ਤੀਰਸਮੀਪੇ ਨੌਦ੍ਵਯੰ ਦਦਰ੍ਸ਼ ਕਿਞ੍ਚ ਮਤ੍ਸ੍ਯੋਪਜੀਵਿਨੋ ਨਾਵੰ ਵਿਹਾਯ ਜਾਲੰ ਪ੍ਰਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਲਯਨ੍ਤਿ|
3 He entered into one of the boats, which was Simeon [Hearing]’s, and asked him to put out a little from the land. He sat down and taught the multitudes from the boat.
ਤਤਸ੍ਤਯੋਰ੍ਦ੍ਵਯੋ ਰ੍ਮਧ੍ਯੇ ਸ਼ਿਮੋਨੋ ਨਾਵਮਾਰੁਹ੍ਯ ਤੀਰਾਤ੍ ਕਿਞ੍ਚਿੱਦੂਰੰ ਯਾਤੁੰ ਤਸ੍ਮਿਨ੍ ਵਿਨਯੰ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਵਾ ਨੌਕਾਯਾਮੁਪਵਿਸ਼੍ਯ ਲੋਕਾਨ੍ ਪ੍ਰੋਪਦਿਸ਼਼੍ਟਵਾਨ੍|
4 When he had finished speaking, he said to Simeon [Hearing], “Put out into the deep, and let down your nets for a catch.”
ਪਸ਼੍ਚਾਤ੍ ਤੰ ਪ੍ਰਸ੍ਤਾਵੰ ਸਮਾਪ੍ਯ ਸ ਸ਼ਿਮੋਨੰ ਵ੍ਯਾਜਹਾਰ, ਗਭੀਰੰ ਜਲੰ ਗਤ੍ਵਾ ਮਤ੍ਸ੍ਯਾਨ੍ ਧਰ੍ੱਤੁੰ ਜਾਲੰ ਨਿਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਿਪ|
5 Simeon [Hearing] answered him, “Master, we worked all night, and took nothing; but at your word I will let down the net.”
ਤਤਃ ਸ਼ਿਮੋਨ ਬਭਾਸ਼਼ੇ, ਹੇ ਗੁਰੋ ਯਦ੍ਯਪਿ ਵਯੰ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਸ੍ਨਾਂ ਯਾਮਿਨੀਂ ਪਰਿਸ਼੍ਰਮ੍ਯ ਮਤ੍ਸ੍ਯੈਕਮਪਿ ਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪ੍ਤਾਸ੍ਤਥਾਪਿ ਭਵਤੋ ਨਿਦੇਸ਼ਤੋ ਜਾਲੰ ਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਿਪਾਮਃ|
6 When they had done this, they caught a great multitude of fish, and their net was breaking.
ਅਥ ਜਾਲੇ ਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਿਪ੍ਤੇ ਬਹੁਮਤ੍ਸ੍ਯਪਤਨਾਦ੍ ਆਨਾਯਃ ਪ੍ਰੱਛਿੰਨਃ|
7 They beckoned to their partners in the other boat, that they should come and help them. They came, and filled both boats, so that they began to sink.
ਤਸ੍ਮਾਦ੍ ਉਪਕਰ੍ੱਤੁਮ੍ ਅਨ੍ਯਨੌਸ੍ਥਾਨ੍ ਸਙ੍ਗਿਨ ਆਯਾਤੁਮ੍ ਇਙ੍ਗਿਤੇਨ ਸਮਾਹ੍ਵਯਨ੍ ਤਤਸ੍ਤ ਆਗਤ੍ਯ ਮਤ੍ਸ੍ਯੈ ਰ੍ਨੌਦ੍ਵਯੰ ਪ੍ਰਪੂਰਯਾਮਾਸੁ ਰ੍ਯੈ ਰ੍ਨੌਦ੍ਵਯੰ ਪ੍ਰਮਗ੍ਨਮ੍|
8 But Simeon Peter [Hearing Rock], when he saw it, fell down at Yeshua [Salvation]'s knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, Lord.”
ਤਦਾ ਸ਼ਿਮੋਨ੍ਪਿਤਰਸ੍ਤਦ੍ ਵਿਲੋਕ੍ਯ ਯੀਸ਼ੋਸ਼੍ਚਰਣਯੋਃ ਪਤਿਤ੍ਵਾ, ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੋਹੰ ਪਾਪੀ ਨਰੋ ਮਮ ਨਿਕਟਾਦ੍ ਭਵਾਨ੍ ਯਾਤੁ, ਇਤਿ ਕਥਿਤਵਾਨ੍|
9 For he was amazed, and all who were with him, at the catch of fish which they had caught;
ਯਤੋ ਜਾਲੇ ਪਤਿਤਾਨਾਂ ਮਤ੍ਸ੍ਯਾਨਾਂ ਯੂਥਾਤ੍ ਸ਼ਿਮੋਨ੍ ਤਤ੍ਸਙ੍ਗਿਨਸ਼੍ਚ ਚਮਤ੍ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤਵਨ੍ਤਃ; ਸ਼ਿਮੋਨਃ ਸਹਕਾਰਿਣੌ ਸਿਵਦੇਃ ਪੁਤ੍ਰੌ ਯਾਕੂਬ੍ ਯੋਹਨ੍ ਚੇਮੌ ਤਾਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ੌ ਬਭੂਵਤੁਃ|
10 and so also were James [Surplanter] and John [Yah is gracious], sons of Zebedee [Bestowed by Yah], who were partners with Simeon [Hearing]. Yeshua [Salvation] said to Simeon [Hearing], “Don’t be afraid. From now on you will be catching people alive.”
ਤਦਾ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਃ ਸ਼ਿਮੋਨੰ ਜਗਾਦ ਮਾ ਭੈਸ਼਼ੀਰਦ੍ਯਾਰਭ੍ਯ ਤ੍ਵੰ ਮਨੁਸ਼਼੍ਯਧਰੋ ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਸਿ|
11 When they had brought their boats to land, they left everything, and followed him.
ਅਨਨ੍ਤਰੰ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਾਸੁ ਨੌਸੁ ਤੀਰਮ੍ ਆਨੀਤਾਸੁ ਤੇ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਾਨ੍ ਪਰਿਤ੍ਯਜ੍ਯ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਪਸ਼੍ਚਾਦ੍ਗਾਮਿਨੋ ਬਭੂਵੁਃ|
12 While he was in one of the cities, behold, there was a man full of tzara'at ·leprosy·. When he saw Yeshua [Salvation], he fell on his face, and begged him, saying, “Lord, if you want to, you can make me clean.”
ਤਤਃ ਪਰੰ ਯੀਸ਼ੌ ਕਸ੍ਮਿੰਸ਼੍ਚਿਤ੍ ਪੁਰੇ ਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਤਿ ਜਨ ਏਕਃ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਾਙ੍ਗਕੁਸ਼਼੍ਠਸ੍ਤੰ ਵਿਲੋਕ੍ਯ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਸਮੀਪੇ ਨ੍ਯੁਬ੍ਜਃ ਪਤਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਸਵਿਨਯੰ ਵਕ੍ਤੁਮਾਰੇਭੇ, ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੋ ਯਦਿ ਭਵਾਨਿੱਛਤਿ ਤਰ੍ਹਿ ਮਾਂ ਪਰਿਸ਼਼੍ਕਰ੍ੱਤੁੰ ਸ਼ਕ੍ਨੋਤਿ|
13 He stretched out his hand, and touched him, saying, “I want to. Be made clean.” Immediately the tzara'at ·leprosy· left him.
ਤਦਾਨੀਂ ਸ ਪਾਣਿੰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਰ੍ੱਯ ਤਦਙ੍ਗੰ ਸ੍ਪ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ਨ੍ ਬਭਾਸ਼਼ੇ ਤ੍ਵੰ ਪਰਿਸ਼਼੍ਕ੍ਰਿਯਸ੍ਵੇਤਿ ਮਮੇੱਛਾਸ੍ਤਿ ਤਤਸ੍ਤਤ੍ਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਣੰ ਸ ਕੁਸ਼਼੍ਠਾਤ੍ ਮੁਕ੍ਤਃ|
14 He commanded him to tell no one. “Instead, as a testimony to the people, go straight to the priest and make an offer for your cleansing, as Moses [Drawn out] commanded.”
ਪਸ਼੍ਚਾਤ੍ ਸ ਤਮਾਜ੍ਞਾਪਯਾਮਾਸ ਕਥਾਮਿਮਾਂ ਕਸ੍ਮੈਚਿਦ੍ ਅਕਥਯਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਯਾਜਕਸ੍ਯ ਸਮੀਪਞ੍ਚ ਗਤ੍ਵਾ ਸ੍ਵੰ ਦਰ੍ਸ਼ਯ, ਲੋਕੇਭ੍ਯੋ ਨਿਜਪਰਿਸ਼਼੍ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤਤ੍ਵਸ੍ਯ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣਦਾਨਾਯ ਮੂਸਾਜ੍ਞਾਨੁਸਾਰੇਣ ਦ੍ਰਵ੍ਯਮੁਤ੍ਮ੍ਰੁʼਜਸ੍ਵ ਚ|
15 But the report concerning him spread much more, and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities.
ਤਥਾਪਿ ਯੀਸ਼ੋਃ ਸੁਖ੍ਯਾਤਿ ਰ੍ਬਹੁ ਵ੍ਯਾਪ੍ਤੁਮਾਰੇਭੇ ਕਿਞ੍ਚ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਕਥਾਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਤੁੰ ਸ੍ਵੀਯਰੋਗੇਭ੍ਯੋ ਮੋਕ੍ਤੁਞ੍ਚ ਲੋਕਾ ਆਜਗ੍ਮੁਃ|
16 But he withdrew himself into the desert, and prayed.
ਅਥ ਸ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ੍ਤਰੰ ਗਤ੍ਵਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਰ੍ਥਯਾਞ੍ਚਕ੍ਰੇ|
17 On one of those days, he was teaching; and there were Pharisees [Separated] and Torah-Teachers sitting by, who had come out of every village of Galilee [District, Circuit], Judea [Praise], and Jerusalem [City of peace]. The power of MarYah [Master Yahweh] was with him to heal them.
ਅਪਰਞ੍ਚ ਏਕਦਾ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਰੁਪਦਿਸ਼ਤਿ, ਏਤਰ੍ਹਿ ਗਾਲੀਲ੍ਯਿਹੂਦਾਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ਯੋਃ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਨਗਰੇਭ੍ਯੋ ਯਿਰੂਸ਼ਾਲਮਸ਼੍ਚ ਕਿਯਨ੍ਤਃ ਫਿਰੂਸ਼ਿਲੋਕਾ ਵ੍ਯਵਸ੍ਥਾਪਕਾਸ਼੍ਚ ਸਮਾਗਤ੍ਯ ਤਦਨ੍ਤਿਕੇ ਸਮੁਪਵਿਵਿਸ਼ੁਃ, ਤਸ੍ਮਿਨ੍ ਕਾਲੇ ਲੋਕਾਨਾਮਾਰੋਗ੍ਯਕਾਰਣਾਤ੍ ਪ੍ਰਭੋਃ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਃ ਪ੍ਰਚਕਾਸ਼ੇ|
18 Behold, men brought a paralyzed man on a cot, and they sought to bring him in to lay before Yeshua [Salvation].
ਪਸ਼੍ਚਾਤ੍ ਕਿਯਨ੍ਤੋ ਲੋਕਾ ਏਕੰ ਪਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਘਾਤਿਨੰ ਖਟ੍ਵਾਯਾਂ ਨਿਧਾਯ ਯੀਸ਼ੋਃ ਸਮੀਪਮਾਨੇਤੁੰ ਸੰਮੁਖੇ ਸ੍ਥਾਪਯਿਤੁਞ੍ਚ ਵ੍ਯਾਪ੍ਰਿਯਨ੍ਤ|
19 Not finding a way to bring him in because of the multitude, they went up to the housetop, and let him down through the tiles with his cot into the middle before Yeshua [Salvation].
ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਬਹੁਜਨਨਿਵਹਸਮ੍ਵਾਧਾਤ੍ ਨ ਸ਼ਕ੍ਨੁਵਨ੍ਤੋ ਗ੍ਰੁʼਹੋਪਰਿ ਗਤ੍ਵਾ ਗ੍ਰੁʼਹਪ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਠੰ ਖਨਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਤੰ ਪਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਘਾਤਿਨੰ ਸਖਟ੍ਵੰ ਗ੍ਰੁʼਹਮਧ੍ਯੇ ਯੀਸ਼ੋਃ ਸੰਮੁਖੇ (ਅ)ਵਰੋਹਯਾਮਾਸੁਃ|
20 Seeing their trusting faith, he said to him, “Man, your sins are forgiven you.”
ਤਦਾ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਸ੍ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਮ੍ ਈਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ੰ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਵਾਸੰ ਵਿਲੋਕ੍ਯ ਤੰ ਪਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਘਾਤਿਨੰ ਵ੍ਯਾਜਹਾਰ, ਹੇ ਮਾਨਵ ਤਵ ਪਾਪਮਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਮ੍ਯਤ|
21 The Torah-Teachers and the Pharisees [Separated] began to reason, saying, “Who is this that speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?”
ਤਸ੍ਮਾਦ੍ ਅਧ੍ਯਾਪਕਾਃ ਫਿਰੂਸ਼ਿਨਸ਼੍ਚ ਚਿੱਤੈਰਿੱਥੰ ਪ੍ਰਚਿਨ੍ਤਿਤਵਨ੍ਤਃ, ਏਸ਼਼ ਜਨ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰੰ ਨਿਨ੍ਦਤਿ ਕੋਯੰ? ਕੇਵਲਮੀਸ਼੍ਵਰੰ ਵਿਨਾ ਪਾਪੰ ਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਨ੍ਤੁੰ ਕਃ ਸ਼ਕ੍ਨੋਤਿ?
22 But Yeshua [Salvation], perceiving their thoughts, answered them, “Why are you reasoning so in your hearts?
ਤਦਾ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਸ੍ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਮ੍ ਇੱਥੰ ਚਿਨ੍ਤਨੰ ਵਿਦਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਤੇਭ੍ਯੋਕਥਯਦ੍ ਯੂਯੰ ਮਨੋਭਿਃ ਕੁਤੋ ਵਿਤਰ੍ਕਯਥ?
23 Which is easier to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you;’ or to say, ‘Arise and walk?’
ਤਵ ਪਾਪਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਮਾ ਜਾਤਾ ਯਦ੍ਵਾ ਤ੍ਵਮੁੱਥਾਯ ਵ੍ਰਜ ਏਤਯੋ ਰ੍ਮਧ੍ਯੇ ਕਾ ਕਥਾ ਸੁਕਥ੍ਯਾ?
24 But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins” (he said to the paralyzed man), “I tell you, arise, and take up your cot, and go to your house.”
ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਪ੍ਰੁʼਥਿਵ੍ਯਾਂ ਪਾਪੰ ਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਨ੍ਤੁੰ ਮਾਨਵਸੁਤਸ੍ਯ ਸਾਮਰ੍ਥ੍ਯਮਸ੍ਤੀਤਿ ਯਥਾ ਯੂਯੰ ਜ੍ਞਾਤੁੰ ਸ਼ਕ੍ਨੁਥ ਤਦਰ੍ਥੰ (ਸ ਤੰ ਪਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਘਾਤਿਨੰ ਜਗਾਦ) ਉੱਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠ ਸ੍ਵਸ਼ੱਯਾਂ ਗ੍ਰੁʼਹੀਤ੍ਵਾ ਗ੍ਰੁʼਹੰ ਯਾਹੀਤਿ ਤ੍ਵਾਮਾਦਿਸ਼ਾਮਿ|
25 Immediately he rose up before them, and took up that which he was laying on, and departed to his house, glorifying God.
ਤਸ੍ਮਾਤ੍ ਸ ਤਤ੍ਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਣਮ੍ ਉੱਥਾਯ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਸਾਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਤ੍ ਨਿਜਸ਼ਯਨੀਯੰ ਗ੍ਰੁʼਹੀਤ੍ਵਾ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰੰ ਧਨ੍ਯੰ ਵਦਨ੍ ਨਿਜਨਿਵੇਸ਼ਨੰ ਯਯੌ|
26 Amazement took hold on all, and they glorified God. They were filled with fear, saying, “We have seen strange things today.”
ਤਸ੍ਮਾਤ੍ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੇ ਵਿਸ੍ਮਯ ਪ੍ਰਾਪ੍ਤਾ ਮਨਃਸੁ ਭੀਤਾਸ਼੍ਚ ਵਯਮਦ੍ਯਾਸਮ੍ਭਵਕਾਰ੍ੱਯਾਣ੍ਯਦਰ੍ਸ਼ਾਮ ਇਤ੍ਯੁਕ੍ਤ੍ਵਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼੍ਵਰੰ ਧਨ੍ਯੰ ਪ੍ਰੋਦਿਤਾਃ|
27 After these things he went out, and saw a tax collector named Levi [United with] sitting at the tax office, and said to him, “Follow me!”
ਤਤਃ ਪਰੰ ਬਹਿਰ੍ਗੱਛਨ੍ ਕਰਸਞ੍ਚਯਸ੍ਥਾਨੇ ਲੇਵਿਨਾਮਾਨੰ ਕਰਸਞ੍ਚਾਯਕੰ ਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਟ੍ਵਾ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਸ੍ਤਮਭਿਦਧੇ ਮਮ ਪਸ਼੍ਚਾਦੇਹਿ|
28 He left everything, and rose up and followed him.
ਤਸ੍ਮਾਤ੍ ਸ ਤਤ੍ਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਣਾਤ੍ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੰ ਪਰਿਤ੍ਯਜ੍ਯ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਪਸ਼੍ਚਾਦਿਯਾਯ|
29 Levi [United with] made a great feast for him in his house. There was a great crowd of tax collectors and others who were reclining with them.
ਅਨਨ੍ਤਰੰ ਲੇਵਿ ਰ੍ਨਿਜਗ੍ਰੁʼਹੇ ਤਦਰ੍ਥੰ ਮਹਾਭੋਜ੍ਯੰ ਚਕਾਰ, ਤਦਾ ਤੈਃ ਸਹਾਨੇਕੇ ਕਰਸਞ੍ਚਾਯਿਨਸ੍ਤਦਨ੍ਯਲੋਕਾਸ਼੍ਚ ਭੋਕ੍ਤੁਮੁਪਵਿਵਿਸ਼ੁਃ|
30 Their Torah-Teachers and the Pharisees [Separated] murmured against his disciples, saying, “Why do you eat and drink with the tax collectors and sinners?”
ਤਸ੍ਮਾਤ੍ ਕਾਰਣਾਤ੍ ਚਣ੍ਡਾਲਾਨਾਂ ਪਾਪਿਲੋਕਾਨਾਞ੍ਚ ਸਙ੍ਗੇ ਯੂਯੰ ਕੁਤੋ ਭੰਗ੍ਧ੍ਵੇ ਪਿਵਥ ਚੇਤਿ ਕਥਾਂ ਕਥਯਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਫਿਰੂਸ਼ਿਨੋ(ਅ)ਧ੍ਯਾਪਕਾਸ਼੍ਚ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਸ਼ਿਸ਼਼੍ਯੈਃ ਸਹ ਵਾਗ੍ਯੁੱਧੰ ਕਰ੍ੱਤੁਮਾਰੇਭਿਰੇ|
31 Yeshua [Salvation] answered them, “Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick do.
ਤਸ੍ਮਾਦ੍ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਸ੍ਤਾਨ੍ ਪ੍ਰਤ੍ਯਵੋਚਦ੍ ਅਰੋਗਲੋਕਾਨਾਂ ਚਿਕਿਤ੍ਸਕੇਨ ਪ੍ਰਯੋਜਨੰ ਨਾਸ੍ਤਿ ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਸਰੋਗਾਣਾਮੇਵ|
32 I have not come to call the upright, but sinners to teshuvah ·complete repentance·.”
ਅਹੰ ਧਾਰ੍ੰਮਿਕਾਨ੍ ਆਹ੍ਵਾਤੁੰ ਨਾਗਤੋਸ੍ਮਿ ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਮਨਃ ਪਰਾਵਰ੍ੱਤਯਿਤੁੰ ਪਾਪਿਨ ਏਵ|
33 They said to him, “Why do John [Yah is gracious]’s disciples often fast and pray, likewise also the disciples of the Pharisees [Separated], but yours eat and drink?”
ਤਤਸ੍ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਚੁਃ, ਯੋਹਨਃ ਫਿਰੂਸ਼ਿਨਾਞ੍ਚ ਸ਼ਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਾ ਵਾਰੰਵਾਰਮ੍ ਉਪਵਸਨ੍ਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਾਰ੍ਥਯਨ੍ਤੇ ਚ ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਤਵ ਸ਼ਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਾਃ ਕੁਤੋ ਭੁਞ੍ਜਤੇ ਪਿਵਨ੍ਤਿ ਚ?
34 He said to them, “Can you make the friends of the bridegroom fast, while the bridegroom is with them?
ਤਦਾ ਸ ਤਾਨਾਚਖ੍ਯੌ ਵਰੇ ਸਙ੍ਗੇ ਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਤਿ ਵਰਸ੍ਯ ਸਖਿਗਣੰ ਕਿਮੁਪਵਾਸਯਿਤੁੰ ਸ਼ਕ੍ਨੁਥ?
35 But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them. Then they will fast in those days.”
ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਯਦਾ ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਨਿਕਟਾਦ੍ ਵਰੋ ਨੇਸ਼਼੍ਯਤੇ ਤਦਾ ਤੇ ਸਮੁਪਵਤ੍ਸ੍ਯਨ੍ਤਿ|
36 He also told a parable to them. “No one puts a piece from a new garment on an old garment, or else he will tear the new, and also the piece from the new will not match the old.
ਸੋਪਰਮਪਿ ਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਟਾਨ੍ਤੰ ਕਥਯਾਮ੍ਬਭੂਵ ਪੁਰਾਤਨਵਸ੍ਤ੍ਰੇ ਕੋਪਿ ਨੁਤਨਵਸ੍ਤ੍ਰੰ ਨ ਸੀਵ੍ਯਤਿ ਯਤਸ੍ਤੇਨ ਸੇਵਨੇਨ ਜੀਰ੍ਣਵਸ੍ਤ੍ਰੰ ਛਿਦ੍ਯਤੇ, ਨੂਤਨਪੁਰਾਤਨਵਸ੍ਤ੍ਰਯੋ ਰ੍ਮੇਲਞ੍ਚ ਨ ਭਵਤਿ|
37 No one puts new wine into old wine skins, or else the new wine will burst the skins, and it will be spilled, and the skins will be destroyed.
ਪੁਰਾਤਨ੍ਯਾਂ ਕੁਤ੍ਵਾਂ ਕੋਪਿ ਨੁਤਨੰ ਦ੍ਰਾਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਰਸੰ ਨ ਨਿਦਧਾਤਿ, ਯਤੋ ਨਵੀਨਦ੍ਰਾਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਰਸਸ੍ਯ ਤੇਜਸਾ ਪੁਰਾਤਨੀ ਕੁਤੂ ਰ੍ਵਿਦੀਰ੍ੱਯਤੇ ਤਤੋ ਦ੍ਰਾਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਰਸਃ ਪਤਤਿ ਕੁਤੂਸ਼੍ਚ ਨਸ਼੍ਯਤਿ|
38 But new wine must be put into fresh wine skins, and both are preserved.
ਤਤੋ ਹੇਤੋ ਰ੍ਨੂਤਨ੍ਯਾਂ ਕੁਤ੍ਵਾਂ ਨਵੀਨਦ੍ਰਾਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਰਸਃ ਨਿਧਾਤਵ੍ਯਸ੍ਤੇਨੋਭਯਸ੍ਯ ਰਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾ ਭਵਤਿ|
39 No man having drunk old wine immediately desires new, for he says, ‘The old is better.’”
ਅਪਰਞ੍ਚ ਪੁਰਾਤਨੰ ਦ੍ਰਾਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਰਸੰ ਪੀਤ੍ਵਾ ਕੋਪਿ ਨੂਤਨੰ ਨ ਵਾਞ੍ਛਤਿ, ਯਤਃ ਸ ਵਕ੍ਤਿ ਨੂਤਨਾਤ੍ ਪੁਰਾਤਨਮ੍ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਸ੍ਤਮ੍|
