Luke 20
1 On one of those days, as he was teaching the people in the temple and preaching the Good News, the priests and Torah-Teachers came to him with the elders.
୧ର଼ ଦିନା ଜୀସୁ ମାହାପୂରୁ ଇଲୁତା ଲ଼କୁଣି ଜା଼ପ୍ହି ମାଚେସି, ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ନେହିଁ କାବ୍ରୁ ୱେ଼କ୍ହି ମାଚେସି, ଏଚିବେ଼ଲା କାଜା ପୂଜେରାଙ୍ଗା ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ମେ଼ରାପୁନାରି ପ୍ରାଚିନାଙ୍ଗା ତଲେ ୱା଼ହାନା ୱେଚେରି,
2 They asked him, “Tell us: by what authority do you do these things? Or who is giving you this authority?”
୨“ନୀନୁ ଆମିନି ଅଦିକାରା ତଲେ ଈ ବାରେ କିହିମାଞ୍ଜି, ଏଲେକିହାଲି ଆମ୍ବାଆସି ଅଦିକାରା ହୀହାମାଞ୍ଜାନେସି, ମାଙ୍ଗେ ୱେସ୍ତାମୁ ।”
3 He answered them, “I also will ask you one question. Tell me:
୩ସାମା ଜୀସୁ ଏ଼ୱାରାଇଁ ଏଲେଇଚେସି, “ନା଼ନୁ ଜିକେଏ ର଼ କାତା ୱେଞ୍ଜାଇଁ, ନାଙ୍ଗେ ୱେସ୍ତାଦୁ
4 the baptism of John [Yah is gracious], was it from heaven, or from men?”
୪ଜହନଇଁ ବାପ୍ତିସ୍ମ ହୀମୁ ଇଞ୍ଜିଁ ଆମ୍ବାଆସି ଟା଼ଣ୍ତିତେସି, ଲାକପୂରୁଟି କି ମାଣ୍ସି ତା଼ଣାଟି?”
5 They reasoned with themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will say, ‘Why didn’t you believe him?’
୫ଏଚେଟିଏ ଏ଼ୱାରି ତା଼ମ୍ବୁ ତା଼ମ୍ବୁ ଜ଼ଲ୍କି ଆ଼ତେରି, “ଲାକପୂରୁଟି ଇନାୟି, ଆତିହିଁ ଏ଼ୱାସି ଏଲେଇଞ୍ଜାନେସି ଏ଼ନାଆଁତାକି ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ ନାମାଆତେରି?
6 But if we say, ‘From men,’ all the people will stone us, for they are persuaded that John [Yah is gracious] was a prophet.”
୬ସାମା ମାଣ୍ସି ତା଼ଣାଟି ଇନାୟି, ଇଞ୍ଜାଁ ଲ଼କୁ ମାଙ୍ଗେ ୱାଲ୍କାତଲେ ପା଼ୟାନେରି, ଇଚିହିଁ ଜହନଇଁ ମାହାପୂରୁ ଅଣ୍ପୁତି ବ଼ଲୁ ୱେହ୍ନାରି ତା଼ଣାଟି ରଅସି ଇଞ୍ଜିଁ ହା଼ରେକା ନାମାମାନେରି ।”
7 They answered that they didn’t know where it was from.
୭ଏ଼ୱାରି ଏଲେଇଚେରି, “ମା଼ମ୍ବୁ ପୁଞ୍ଜାହିଲଅମି ଏ଼ଦି ଏମ୍ବିଟି ଆ଼ହାମାନେ ।”
8 Yeshua [Salvation] said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.”
୮ଜୀସୁ ଏ଼ୱାରାଇଁ ଏଲେଇଚେସି, “ଆତିହିଁ ନା଼ନୁ ଆମିନି ଅଦିକାରା ତଲେ କିହିମାଇଁ ନା଼ନୁ ଜିକେଏ ୱେସ୍ତଅଁ ।”
9 He began to tell the people this parable. “A man planted a vineyard, and rented it out to some farmers, and went into another country for a long time.
୯ଏମ୍ବାଟିଏ ଜୀସୁ ଈ ପୁଣ୍ମ୍ବିକିନି କାତା ୱେସ୍ତେସି, “ରଅସି ର଼ ଅଙ୍ଗୁରି ବା଼ଡ଼ା କିହାନା କାମା କିନାରାକି ବା଼ଗା ହୀହାନା ହା଼ରେକା ଦିନାତାକି ଅ଼ର ଦେ଼ସାତା ହାଚେସି ।
10 At the proper season, he sent a servant to the farmers to collect his share of the fruit of the vineyard. But the farmers beat him, and sent him away empty.
୧୦ଅଙ୍ଗୁରି ପା଼ଡ଼େୟି କାମ୍ବି ବେ଼ଲା ଏ଼ୱାସି ତାନି ବା଼ଗା ବେଟାଆ଼ହାଲି ର଼ ହ଼ଲେଏଣାଇଁ ପାଣ୍ତିତେସି, ସାମା ଅଙ୍ଗୁରି ବା଼ଡ଼ାତା କାମାକିନାରି ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ ମା଼ଡା ୱେ଼ଚାନା ୱାର୍ଇ କେୟୁଟି ପେ଼ର୍ହାତୁସ୍ତେରି ।
11 He sent yet another servant, and they also beat him, and treated him shamefully, and sent him away empty.
୧୧ଏ଼ୱାସି ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ର଼ ହ଼ଲେଏଣାଇଁ ପାଣ୍ତିତେସି; ଏ଼ୱାରି ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ ଜିକେଏ ୱେ଼ଚାନା ନିନ୍ଦା କିହାଁ ୱାର୍ଇ କେୟୁଟି ପେ଼ର୍ହା ପାଣ୍ତିତେରି;
12 He sent yet a third, and they also wounded him, and threw him out.
୧୨ଡା଼ୟୁ ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ରଅଣାଇଁ ପାଣ୍ତିତେସି, ସାମା ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ ଜିକେଏ ରା଼ଣାରାକା କିହାନା ବା଼ଡ଼ାତି ପାଙ୍ଗାତା ମେତ୍ହାତୁସ୍ତେରି ।
13 The lord of the vineyard said, ‘What shall I do? I will send my agapetos ·beloved, esteemed· son. It may be that seeing him, they will respect him.’
୧୩ଏମ୍ବାଟିଏ ଅଙ୍ଗୁରି ବା଼ଡ଼ାତି ସା଼ୱୁକାରି ନୀଏଟି ଏ଼ନାଆଁ କିଇଁ ଇଞ୍ଜିଁ ଅଣ୍ପାନା, ନା଼ ଜୀୱୁତି ମୀର୍ଏଣାଇଁ ପାଣ୍ତିଇଁ ଆତିହିଁ ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ ମା଼ନି କିନେରି ।
14 “But when the farmers saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, ‘This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.’
୧୪ସାମା କାମାକିନାରି ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ ମେସାନା ତା଼ମ୍ବୁ ତା଼ମ୍ବୁ ଏଲେଇଣ୍ମ୍ବି ଆ଼ତେରି ‘ଈୱାସି ଅଦିକାରା ଗାଟାସି, ଈୱାଣାଇଁ ପା଼ୟାତୁହ୍ନ, ଆତିହିଁ ଈ ଅଙ୍ଗୁରି ବା଼ଡ଼ା ମାଙ୍ଗେ ଆୟାନେ ।’
15 They threw him out of the vineyard, and killed him. What therefore will the lord of the vineyard do to them?
୧୫ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ ଅଙ୍ଗୁରି ବା଼ଡ଼ା ପାଙ୍ଗାତା ମେତ୍ହାନା ପା଼ୟିତେରି ।” “ଆତିହିଁ ଅଙ୍ଗୁରି ବା଼ଡ଼ାତି ସା଼ୱୁକାରି ଏ଼ୱାରାଇଁ ଏ଼ନାଆଁ କିନେସି?
16 He will come and destroy these farmers, and will give the vineyard to others.” When they heard it, they said, “May it never be!”
୧୬ଏ଼ୱାସି ୱା଼ହାନା ଈ କାମା କିନାରାଇଁ ପା଼ୟାତୁହ୍ନେସି, ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ଏଟ୍କାତାରାକି ଏ଼ ଅଙ୍ଗୁରି ବା଼ଡ଼ା ହୀନେସି ।” ଲ଼କୁ ଈ କାତା ୱେଞ୍ଜାନା ଏଲେଇଚେରି, “ଏଲେକିହିଁ ଆ଼ୱୁଏ ଆ଼ଆପେ ।”
17 But he looked at them, and said, “Then what is this that is written, ‘The stone which the builders rejected, the same was made the chief cornerstone'?
୧୭ସାମା ଜୀସୁ ଏ଼ୱାରାଇଁ ୱେସ୍ତେସି, “ଆତିହିଁ ରା଼ଚାମାନି ଈ ବ଼ଲୁ ଏ଼ନାୟି? ଇଲୁ କେ଼ପିନାରି ଆମିନି ୱାଲିତି କୂତେରି, ଏ଼ଦି ଇଲୁ କନତି ମୂଲୁ ୱାଲି ଆ଼ତେ ।
18 Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces, but it will crush whomever it falls on to dust.”
୧୮ଆମ୍ବାଆସି ଏ଼ ୱାଲି ଲାକ ତର୍ଗିନେସି, ଏ଼ୱାସି କାଣ୍ତାମୁକା ଆ଼ନେସି; ଇଞ୍ଜାଁ ଏ଼ ୱାଲି ଆମ୍ବାଆରି ମୁହେଁ ତର୍ଗିନେ ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ ଗୁଣ୍ତୁଗୁଣ୍ତା କିନେ ।”
19 The chief priests and the Torah-Teachers sought to lay hands on him that very hour, but they feared the people— for they knew he had spoken this parable against them.
୧୯ଏଚେଟିଏ ମେ଼ରାପୁନାରି ଅ଼ଡ଼େ କାଜା ପୂଜେରାଙ୍ଗା ଦେବୁଣିଏ ଜୀସୁଇଁ ଆସାଲି ଅଣ୍ପିତେରି, ସାମା ଲ଼କୁ ମାନ୍ଦାତି ଆଜିତେରି, ଇଚିହିଁ ଏ଼ୱାସି ଏ଼ ପୁଣ୍ମ୍ବିକିନି କାତା ଏ଼ୱାରାଇଁ ସିନିକିହାନା ୱେସାମାଚେସି ଇଞ୍ଜିଁ ଏ଼ୱାରି ପୁଚେରି ।
20 They watched him, and sent out spies, who pretended to be upright, that they might trap him in something he said, so as to deliver him up to the power and authority of the governor.
୨୦ଏମ୍ବାଟିଏ ଏ଼ୱାରି ଜୀସୁଇଁ ପା଼ଣା ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ବାଡ଼୍ୟୁଗାଟି ସା଼ଲୱି କିନାରି କେୟୁତା ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ ହେର୍ପାଲି ପାରୁ ପାରୀତେରି, ଇଞ୍ଜାଁ ଏଚରଜା଼ଣା ତା଼ମ୍ବୁ ତାମ୍ଙ୍ଗେ ଦାର୍ମୁଗାଟାରି ଇଞ୍ଜିଁ ତ଼ସା କଡିନି ନା଼ଡ଼ିକିନାରି ଜୀସୁଇଁ ତାନି ୱେହ୍ନି କାତାତା ଦ଼ହ ଦସାଲି ଏ଼ୱାଣି ତା଼ଣା ପାଣ୍ତିତେରି ।
21 They asked him, “Teacher, we know that you say and teach what is right, and are not partial to anyone, but truly teach the way of God.
୨୧ଏ଼ୱାରି ଜୀସୁଇଁ ୱେଚେରି, “ଗୂରୁ, ମା଼ମ୍ବୁ ପୁଞ୍ଜାମାନମି, ନୀନୁ ଏ଼ନାଆଁ ୱେସାମାଞ୍ଜି ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ଜା଼ପ୍ହାମାଞ୍ଜି ଏ଼ଦି ସାତା, ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ଆମ୍ବାଆରାଇଁ ପାର୍ଡ଼ା ବାଚି କିଅତି, ସାମା ସାତା ମାହାପୂରୁତି ଜିରୁତି କାତା ଜା଼ପ୍ଦି ।
22 Does Torah ·Teaching· permit us to pay taxes to Caesar [Ruler], or not?”
୨୨ଆତିହିଁ କାୟିସରକି ସିସ୍ତୁ ହୀନାୟି ମେ଼ରା ମାନେକି ଆ଼ଏ ।”
23 But he perceived their craftiness, and said to them, “Why do you test me?
୨୩ସାମା ଜୀସୁ ଏ଼ୱାରି ନା଼ଡ଼ିକିନି ଅଣ୍ପୁତି ପୁଞ୍ଜାନା ଏ଼ୱାରାଇଁ ୱେସ୍ତେସି, “ନାଙ୍ଗେ ର଼ ୱେଣ୍ତି ଟାକା ହିୟାଦୁ ।”
24 Show me a denarius [one day’s wage]. Whose image and inscription are on it?” They answered, “Caesar’s [Ruler]’s.”
୨୪ଏ଼ ୱେଣ୍ତି ଟାକାତା ଆମ୍ବାଆରି ବମା ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ଦ଼ରୁ ମାନେ, ଏ଼ୱାରି ୱେସ୍ତେରି, “କାୟିସରୱାୟି ।”
25 He said to them, “Then give to Caesar [Ruler] the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”
୨୫ଏଚେଟିଏ ଜୀସୁ ଏ଼ୱାରାଇଁ ୱେସ୍ତେସି, “ଆତିହିଁ କାୟିସରୱାୟି ଏ଼ନାୟି ଏ଼ଦାଆଁ କାୟିସରକି ହୀଦୁ; ଇଞ୍ଜାଁ ମାହାପୂରୁୱାୟି ଏ଼ନାୟି ଏ଼ଦାଆଁ ମାହାପୂରୁକି ହୀଦୁ ।”
26 They were not able to trap him in his words before the people. They marveled at his answer, and were silent.
୨୬ଏଚେଟିଏ ଏ଼ୱାରି ଲ଼କୁ ନ଼କିତା ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ ଏ଼ନି ଦ଼ହ ଦସାଲି ଆ଼ଡାଆତେରି, ଇଞ୍ଜାଁ ଏ଼ୱାରି ଜୀସୁ ୱେସ୍ତି କାତାତାକି ଆଡାଜାକା ଆ଼ହାନା ପାଲେଏ ମାଚେରି ।
27 Some of the Sadducees [Morally-upright] came to him, those who deny that there is a resurrection.
୨୭ଏମ୍ବାଟିଏ ହା଼ତାରି ୱେଣ୍ତେ ନିଙ୍ଗିନାଣି ନାମିହିଲାଆଗାଟି ଏଚରଜା଼ଣା ସାଦୁକିୟାଁ ଜୀସୁତା଼ଣା ୱା଼ହାନା ୱେଚେରି,
28 They asked him, “Teacher, Moses [Drawn out] wrote to us that if a man’s brother dies having a wife, and he is childless, his brother should take the wife, and raise up children for his brother.
୨୮“ଏ଼ ଗୂରୁ ମ଼ସା ମାଙ୍ଗେତାକି ରା଼ଚାମାନେସି, ରଅସି ବୀହା ଆ଼ହାଁ କକାରି ପ଼ଦାଁ ଆ଼ଆନା ହା଼ତିହିଁ, ଏ଼ୱାଣି ତାୟି ତାନି ଡକ୍ରିନି ଇଟାନା ଏ଼ୱାଣି କୂଡ଼ା ଏ଼ପିକିୟାଲି ଆ଼ନେ ।
29 There were therefore seven brothers. The first took a wife, and died childless.
୨୯ସାତା ଜା଼ଣା ତାୟିୟାଁ ମାଚେରି; କାଜାସି ବୀହା ଆ଼ହାନା କକାରି ପ଼ଦାଁ ଆ଼ଆନା ହା଼ତେସି;
30 The second took her as wife, and he died childless.
୩୦ଡା଼ୟୁ ଏ଼ୱାଣି ଜେ଼ଚତାସି ଇଟିତେସି, ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ଏ଼ୱାଣି ଜେ଼ଚତାସି ଇଟିତେସି;
31 The third took her, and likewise the seven all left no children, and died.
୩୧ଏଲେକିହିଁଏ ସା଼ତା ଜା଼ଣା ଜିକେଏ କକାରି ପ଼ଦାଁ ଆ଼ଆନା ହା଼ତେରି ।
32 Afterward the woman also died.
୩୨ଡା଼ୟୁ ଏ଼ ଇୟା ଜିକେଏ ହା଼ତେ ।
33 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife of them will she be? For the seven had her as a wife.”
୩୩ଆତିହିଁ ୱେଣ୍ତେ ନିଙ୍ଗିନି ଦିନା ଏ଼ୱାରି ବିତ୍ରାଟି ଏ଼ ଇୟା ଆମ୍ବାଆରି ଡକ୍ରି ଆ଼ନେ? ଇଚିହିଁ ସାତା ଜା଼ଣା ଜିକେଏ ଏ଼ଦାନି ଇଟାମାଚେରି ।”
34 Yeshua [Salvation] said to them, “The children of this age marry, and are given in marriage. (aiōn g165)
୩୪ଜୀସୁ ଏ଼ୱାରାଇଁ ଏଲେଇଚେସି, “ଈ ଦାର୍ତିତି ଲ଼କୁ ବୀହା କିନେରି ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ଆ଼ନେରି, (aiōn g165)
35 But those who are considered worthy to attain to that age and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage. (aiōn g165)
୩୫ସାମା ୱା଼ନି ଜୁଗୁତାକି ଇଞ୍ଜାଁ ହା଼କିଟି ନିଙ୍ଗାଲିତାକି ପା଼ଡ଼ା ଆ଼ନାରି ବୀହା ଆ଼ଅରି କି ବୀହା ହୀଅରି; (aiōn g165)
36 For they can’t die any more, for they are like the angels, and are children of God, being children of the resurrection.
୩୬ଇଚିହିଁ ଏ଼ୱାରି ଦୂତୁୟାଁଲେହେଁ ଆ଼ହାନା ଏଚେଲାୱା ହା଼ଅରି, ଇଞ୍ଜାଁ ହା଼କିଟି ନିଙ୍ଗାମାନାକି ଏ଼ୱାରି ମାହାପୂରୁତି ମୀର୍କା ଆ଼ନେରି ।
37 But that the dead are raised, even Moses [Drawn out] showed at the bush, when Yahweh said ‘The God of Abraham [Father of a multitude], the God of Isaac [Laughter], and the God of Jacob [Supplanter].’
୩୭ସାମା ହା଼ତାରି ସାତେଏ ନିଙ୍ଗିନେରି ଇଞ୍ଜିଁ ମ଼ସାଇଁ ଜିକେଏ ୱେହିମାନି ବୂଟାତି କାବ୍ରୁତଲେ ନେହିଁକିଁ ତ଼ସାମାଚେସି, ଇଚିହିଁ ଏ଼ୱାସି ପ୍ରବୁଇଁ ଅବ୍ରାହାମତି ମାହାପୂରୁ, ଇସାହାକତି ମାହାପୂରୁ ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ଜାକୁବତି ମାହାପୂରୁ ଇଞ୍ଜାମାଚେସି ।
38 Now he is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for all are alive to him.”
୩୮ଏ଼ୱାସି ହା଼ତାରି ମାହାପୂରୁ ଆ଼ଏ ସାମା ଜୀୱୁଗାଟାରି ମାହାପୂରୁ; ଇଚିହିଁ ମାହାପୂରୁ ନ଼କିତା ବାରେଜା଼ଣା ନୀଡାମାନେରି ।”
39 Some of the Torah-Teachers answered, “Teacher, you speak well.”
୩୯ଏମ୍ବାଟିଏ ମେ଼ରାପୁନାରି ବିତ୍ରାଟି ଏଚରଜା଼ଣା ଏଲେଇଚେରି, “ହାଅ, ଗୂରୁ ନୀନୁ ଅଜେ ୱେସ୍ତାତି ।”
40 They didn’t dare to ask him any more questions.
୪୦ଇଚିହିଁ ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ଏ଼ନାଆଁ ୱେଞ୍ଜାଲି ଏ଼ୱାରାକି ସା଼ସା ହିଲାଆତେ ।
41 He said to them, “Why do they say that the Messiah [Anointed one] is David [Beloved]’s son?
୪୧ଏମ୍ବାଟିଏ ଜୀସୁ ଏ଼ୱାରାଇଁ ୱେଚେସି, କ୍ରୀସ୍ତ ଦାୱୁଦ ମୀର୍ଏସି, ଲ଼କୁ ଏ଼ନିକିଁ ଏଲେଇନେରି?
42 For David [Beloved] himself says in the book of Psalms,
୪୨ଇଚିହିଁ ଦାୱୁଦ ତା଼ନୁଏ ପା଼ଚୁ ପତିତା ଏଲେଇଞ୍ଜି ମାନେସି, ପ୍ରବୁ ନା଼ ପ୍ରବୁଇଁ ୱେସ୍ତେସି,
43 ‘Yahweh said to adoni [my Lord], “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.”’
୪୩ନା଼ନୁ ନୀ ସାତ୍ରୁୟାଁଣି ନୀ କଡାୟାଁ ଡ଼଼ଇ ଇଟାଆ ପାତେକା, ନୀନୁ ନା଼ ଟିଃନିୱାକି କୁଗାମାନାମୁ ।
44 “David [Beloved] therefore calls him Lord, so how is he his son?”
୪୪ଦାୱୁଦ ତା଼ନୁଏ ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ ପ୍ରବୁ ଇଞ୍ଜିଁ ମାନେସି; ଆତିହିଁ କ୍ରୀସ୍ତ ଏ଼ନିକିଁ ଏ଼ୱାଣି ମୀର୍ଏସି?
45 In the hearing of all the people, he said to his disciples,
୪୫ଡା଼ୟୁ ବାରେ ଲ଼କୁ ନ଼କିତା ସୀସୁୟାଁଇଁ ୱେସ୍ତେସି,
46 “Beware of the Torah-Teachers, who like to walk in long robes, and phileo ·affectionately love, have high regard for· greetings in the marketplaces, the best seats in the synagogues, and the best places at feasts;
୪୬“ମେ଼ରା ଜା଼ପ୍ନାରି ତା଼ଣାଟି ଜାଗ୍ରାତା! ଇଚିହିଁ ଏ଼ୱାରି ଲାମ୍ବା ଲାମ୍ବା ହିମ୍ବରିକା ହୁଚାନା ତିର୍ୱିହିଁ ରେ଼ଜାଲି, ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ହା଼ଟା ବାଜାରାତା ଜହରା ବେଟାଆ଼ହାଲି, ପ୍ରା଼ତାନା ଇଲ୍କାଣା ନେହିଁ ନେହିଁ କୁର୍ଚିୟାଁ ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ବ଼ଜିତା ନେହିଁ ଟା଼ୟୁ ବେଟାଆ଼ହାଲି ଅଣ୍ପିନେରି;
47 who devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayers: these will receive greater condemnation.”
୪୭ଏ଼ୱାରି ରା଼ଣ୍ତେଣିସିକା ଇଲୁ ସେନ୍ଦିନେରି ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ଉଜେ ଉଜେଏ ଲାମ୍ବା ଲାମ୍ବା ପ୍ରା଼ତାନା କିନେରି; ଏ଼ୱାରି ହା଼ରେକା ଡଣ୍ତ ବେଟାଆ଼ନେରି ।”
