Luke 2
1 Now in those days, a decree went out from Caesar [Ruler] Augustus [Revered, Esteemed, Venerable] that all the world should be enrolled.
У то време пак изиђе заповест од ћесара Августа да се препише сав свет.
2 This was the first enrollment made when Quirinius was governor of Syria [Elevated].
Ово је био први препис за владања Киринова Сиријом.
3 All went to enroll themselves, everyone to his own city.
И пођоше сви да се препишу, сваки у свој град.
4 Joseph [May he add] also went up from Galilee [District, Circuit], out of the city of Nazareth [Branch, Separated one], into Judea [Praise], to David [Beloved]’s city, which is called Bethlehem [House of Bread], because he was of the house and family of David [Beloved];
Тада пође и Јосиф из Галилеје, из града Назарета у Јудеју у град Давидов који се зваше Витлејем, јер он беше из дома и племена Давидовог,
5 to enroll himself with Mary [Rebellion], who was pledged to be married to him as wife, being pregnant.
Да се препише с Маријом, испрошеном за њега женом, која беше трудна.
6 While they were there, the day had come for her to give birth.
И кад онамо беху, дође време да она роди.
7 She gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him in bands of cloth, and laid him in a feeding trough, because there was no room for them in the inn.
И роди Сина свог првенца, и пови Га, и метну Га у јасле; јер им не беше места у гостионици.
8 There were shepherds in the same country staying in the field, and keeping watch by night over their flock.
И беху пастири у оном крају који чуваху ноћну стажу код стада свог.
9 Behold, an angel of Adonai stood by them, and the shekhinah ·manifest weighty glory and presence of God· shone around them, and they were terrified.
И гле, анђео Господњи стаде међу њима, и слава Господња обасја их; и уплашише се врло.
10 The angel said to them, “Don’t be afraid, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be to all the people.
И рече им анђео: Не бојте се; јер гле, јављам вам велику радост која ће бити свему народу.
11 For there is born to you today, in David [Beloved]’s city, a Savior, who is Messiah [Anointed one] the MarYah [Master Yahweh].
Јер вам се данас роди спас, који је Христос Господ, у граду Давидовом.
12 This is the sign to you: you will find a baby wrapped in strips of cloth, lying in a feeding trough.”
И ето вам знака: Наћи ћете дете повито где лежи у јаслама.
13 Suddenly, there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly army praising God, and saying,
И уједанпут постаде с анђелом мноштво војника небеских, који хваљаху Бога говорећи:
14 “Glory to God in the highest, on earth peace, good will toward men.”
Слава на висини Богу, и на земљи мир, међу људима добра воља.
15 When the angels went away from them into the sky, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem [House of Bread], now, and see this thing that has happened, which MarYah [Master Yahweh] has made known to us.”
И кад анђели отидоше од њих на небо, пастири говораху један другом: Хајдемо до Витлејема, да видимо то што се тамо догодило шта нам каза Господ.
16 They came with haste, and found both Mary [Rebellion] and Joseph [May he add], and the baby was lying in the feeding trough.
И дођоше брзо, и нађоше Марију и Јосифа и дете где лежи у јаслама.
17 When they saw it, they publicized widely the saying which was spoken to them about this child.
А кад видеше, казаше све што им је казано за то дете.
18 All who heard it wondered at the things which were spoken to them by the shepherds.
И сви који чуше дивише се томе што им казаше пастири.
19 But Mary [Rebellion] kept all these sayings, pondering them in her heart.
А Марија чуваше све речи ове и слагаше их у срцу свом.
20 The shepherds teshuvah ·completely returned·, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, just as it was told them.
И вратише се пастири славећи и хвалећи Бога за све што чуше и видеше, као што им би казано.
21 When eight days were fulfilled for the circumcision of the child, his name was called Yeshua [Salvation], which was given by the angel before he was conceived in the womb.
И кад се наврши осам дана да Га обрежу, наденуше Му име Исус, као што је анђео рекао док се још није био ни заметнуо у утроби.
22 When the time came for their purification according to the Torah ·Teaching· of Moses [Drawn out] were fulfilled, they brought him up to Jerusalem [City of peace], to present him to MarYah [Master Yahweh]
И кад дође време да иду на молитву по закону Мојсијевом, донеше Га у Јерусалим да Га метну пред Господа,
23 (as it is written in the Torah ·Teaching· of MarYah [Master Yahweh], “Every firstborn male shall be consecrated holy to MarYah [Master Yahweh]”),
(Као што је написано у закону Господњем: Да се свако дете мушко које најпре отвори материцу посвети Господу; )
24 and to offer a sacrifice according to that which is said in the Torah ·Teaching· of MarYah [Master Yahweh], “A pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons.”
И да принесу прилог, као што је речено у закону Господњем, две грлице, или два голубића.
25 Behold, there was a man in Jerusalem [City of peace] whose name was Simeon [Hearing]. This man was upright and devout, looking for the consolation of Israel [God prevails], and Ruach haKodesh [Spirit of the Holiness] was on him.
И гле, беше у Јерусалиму човек по имену Симеун, и тај човек беше праведан и побожан, који чекаше утехе Израиљеве, и Дух Свети беше у њему.
26 It had been revealed to him by Ruach haKodesh [Spirit of the Holiness] that he should not see death before he had seen Adonai’s Messiah [Anointed one].
И њему беше Свети Дух казао да неће видети смрт док не види Христа Господњег.
27 Prompted by haRuach [the Spirit], he went into the temple courts; and when the parents brought in the child Yeshua [Salvation] to do for him what the Torah ·Teaching· required,
И каза му Дух те дође у цркву; и кад донесоше родитељи дете Исуса да сврше за Њега закон по обичају,
28 then he received him into his arms, and blessed God, and said,
И он Га узе на руке своје, и хвали Бога и рече:
29 “Now you are releasing your servant, Master, according to your word, in peace;
Сад отпушташ с миром слугу свог, Господе, по речи својој;
30 for my eyes have seen your method of salvation,
Јер видеше очи моје спасење Твоје,
31 which you have prepared before the face of all peoples;
Које си уготовио пред лицем свих народа,
32 a light for revelation to the nations, and the glory of your people Israel [God prevails].”
Видело, да обасја незнабошце, и славу народа Твог Израиља.
33 Joseph [May he add] and his mother were marveling at the things which were spoken concerning him,
И Јосиф и мати Његова чуђаху се томе што се говораше за Њега.
34 and Simeon [Hearing] blessed them, and said to Mary [Rebellion], his mother, “Behold, this child is set for the falling and the rising of many in Israel [God prevails], and for a sign which is spoken against.
И благослови их Симеун, и рече Марији, матери Његовој: Гле, Овај лежи да многе обори и подигне у Израиљу, и да буде знак против кога ће се говорити
35 Yes, a sword will pierce through your own soul, that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.”
(А и теби самој пробошће нож душу), да се открију мисли многих срца.
36 There was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher [Happy] (she was of a great age, having lived with a husband seven years from her virginity,
И беше Ана пророчица, кћи Фануилова, од колена Асировог; она је остарела, а седам је година живела с мужем од девојаштва свог,
37 and she had been a widow for about eighty-four years), who didn’t depart from the temple, worshiping with fastings and petitions night and day.
И удова око осамдесет и четири године, која не одлажаше од цркве, и служаше Богу дан и ноћ постом и молитвама.
38 Coming up at that very hour, she gave thanks to Yahweh, and spoke of him to all those who were looking for redemption in Jerusalem [City of peace].
И она у тај час дође, и хваљаше Господа и говораше за Њега свима који чекаху спасења у Јерусалиму.
39 When they had accomplished everything required by the Torah ·Teaching· of MarYah [Master Yahweh], they returned into Galilee [District, Circuit], to their town of Nazareth [Branch, Separated one].
И кад свршише све по закону Господњем, вратише се у Галилеју у град свој Назарет.
40 The child was growing, and was becoming strong in spirit, being filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon him.
А дете растијаше и јачаше у духу, и пуњаше се премудрости, и благодат Божија беше на Њему.
41 His parents went every year to Jerusalem [City of peace] at the festival of the Pesac ·Passover·.
И родитељи Његови иђаху сваке године у Јерусалим о празнику пасхе.
42 When he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem [City of peace] according to the custom of the feast,
И кад Му би дванаест година, дођоше они у Јерусалим по обичају празника;
43 and when they had fulfilled the days, as they were making teshuvah ·complete return·, the boy Yeshua [Salvation] stayed behind in Jerusalem [City of peace]. Joseph [May he add] and his mother didn’t know it,
И кад дане проведоше и они се вратише, оста дете Исус у Јерусалиму; и не знаде Јосиф и мати Његова;
44 but supposing him to be in the company, they went a day’s journey, and they looked for him among their relatives and acquaintances.
Него мислећи да је с друштвом, отидоше дан хода, и стадоше Га тражити по родбини и по знанцима.
45 When they didn’t find him, they make teshuvah ·complete return· to Jerusalem [City of peace], looking for him.
И не нашавши Га вратише се у Јерусалим да Га траже.
46 After three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the middle of the teachers, both listening to them, and asking them questions.
И после три дана нађоше Га у цркви где седи међу учитељима, и слуша их, и пита их,
47 All who heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers.
И сви који Га слушаху дивљаху се Његовом разуму и одговорима.
48 When they saw him, they were astonished, and his mother said to him, “Son, why have you treated us this way? Behold, your 'Avikah ·your Father· and I were anxiously looking for you.”
И видевши Га зачудише се, и мати Његова рече Му: Сине! Шта учини нама тако? Ево отац твој и ја са страхом тражисмо те.
49 He said to them, “Why were you looking for me? Didn’t you know that I must be in 'Avi ·my Father·’s house?”
И рече им: Зашто сте ме тражили? Зар не знате да мени треба у оном бити што је Оца мог?
50 They didn’t understand the saying which he spoke to them.
И они не разумеше речи што им рече.
51 And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth [Branch, Separated one]. He was subject to them, and his mother kept all these sayings in her heart.
И сиђе с њима и дође у Назарет; и беше им послушан. И мати Његова чуваше све речи ове у срцу свом.
52 And Yeshua [Salvation] increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.
И Исус напредоваше у премудрости и у расту и у милости код Бога и код људи.
