Luke 19
1 He entered and was passing through Jericho [Fragrant, Moon].
Jésus étant entré dans Jéricho, traversait la ville.
2 There was a man named Zacchaeus. He was a chief tax collector, and he was rich.
Et voilà qu'un homme appelé Zachée, — c'était un chef de publicains et il était riche, —
3 He was trying to see who Yeshua [Salvation] was, and couldn’t because of the crowd, because he was short.
cherchait à voir qui était Jésus; et il ne le pouvait à cause de la foule, car il était de petite taille.
4 He ran on ahead, and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see him, for he was going to pass that way.
Courant donc en avant, il monta sur un sycomore pour le voir, parce qu'il devait passer par là.
5 When Yeshua [Salvation] came to the place, he looked up and saw him, and said to him, “Zacchaeus, hurry and come down, for today I must stay at your house.”
Arrivé à cet endroit, Jésus leva les yeux, et l'ayant vu, il lui dit: " Zachée, descends vite, car il faut que je loge aujourd'hui dans ta maison. "
6 He hurried, came down, and received him joyfully.
Zachée se hâta de descendre et le reçut avec joie.
7 When they saw it, they all murmured, saying, “He has gone in to lodge with a man who is a sinner.”
Voyant cela, ils murmuraient tous en disant: " Il est allé loger chez un pécheur. "
8 Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, “Behold, Lord, half of my goods I give to the poor. If I have wrongfully exacted anything of anyone, I restore four times as much.”
Mais Zachée, se présentant devant le Seigneur, lui dit: " Voici, Seigneur, que je donne aux pauvres la moitié de mes biens; et si j'ai fait tort de quelque chose à quelqu'un, je lui rends le quadruple. "
9 Yeshua [Salvation] said to him, “Today, yishu'ah ·salvation· has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham [Father of a multitude].
Jésus lui dit: " Le salut est venu aujourd'hui pour cette maison, parce que celui-ci est aussi un fils d'Abraham.
10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost.”
Car le Fils de l'homme est venu chercher et sauver ce qui était perdu. "
11 As they heard these things, he went on and told a parable, because he was near Jerusalem [City of peace], and they supposed that God’s Kingdom would be revealed immediately.
Comme ils écoutaient ce discours, il ajouta une parabole, parce qu'il était près de Jérusalem, et que le peuple pensait que le royaume de Dieu allait bientôt paraître.
12 He said therefore, “A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to teshuvah ·completely return·.
Il dit donc: " Un homme de grande naissance s'en alla dans un pays lointain pour être investi de la royauté et revenir ensuite.
13 He called ten servants of his, and gave them ten mina [500 sheckles; 12.5 lb; 5.67 kg] coins, and told them, ‘Conduct business until I come.’
Ayant appelé dix de ses serviteurs, il leur donna dix mines, et leur dit: Faites-les valoir, jusqu'à ce que je revienne.
14 But his citizens hated him, and sent an envoy after him, saying, ‘We don’t want this man to reign over us.’
Mais ses concitoyens le haïssaient, et ils envoyèrent après lui des députés chargés de dire: Nous ne voulons pas que cet homme règne sur nous.
15 “When he had come back again, having received the kingdom, he commanded these servants, to whom he had given the money, to be called to him, that he might know what they had gained by conducting business.
Quand il fut de retour, après avoir été investi de la royauté, il se fit appeler les serviteurs auxquels il avait donné l'argent, pour savoir quel profit chacun en avait tiré.
16 The first came before him, saying, ‘Lord, your mina [50 sheckles; 1.25 lb; 0.57 kg] has made ten more minas [500 sheckles; 12.5 lb; 5.67 kg].’
Le premier vint et dit: Seigneur, votre mine a gagné dix autres mines.
17 “He said to him, ‘Well done, you good servant! Because you were found faithful with very little, you shall have authority over ten cities.’
Il lui dit: C'est bien, bon serviteur; parce que tu as été fidèle en peu de chose, reçois le gouvernement de dix villes.
18 “The second came, saying, ‘Your mina [50 sheckles; 1.25 lb; 0.57 kg], Lord, has made five minas [250 sheckles; 6.25 lb; 2.835 kg].’
Le second vint et dit: Seigneur, votre mine a produit cinq autres mines.
19 “So he said to him, ‘And you are to be over five cities.’
Toi aussi lui dit-il, gouverne cinq villes.
20 Another came, saying, ‘Lord, behold, your mina [50 sheckles; 1.25 lb; 0.57 kg], which I kept laid away in a handkerchief,
Puis un autre vint et dit: Seigneur, voici votre mine que j'ai gardée en dépôt dans un linge.
21 for I feared you, because you are an exacting man. You take up that which you didn’t lay down, and reap that which you didn’t sow.’
Car j'avais peur de vous, parce que vous êtes un homme rigide: vous retirez ce que vous n'avez pas déposé, et vous moissonnez ce que vous n'avez pas semé.
22 “He said to him, ‘Out of your own mouth will I judge you, you wicked servant! You knew that I am an exacting man, taking up that which I didn’t lay down, and reaping that which I didn’t sow.
Le roi lui répondit: Je te juge sur tes paroles, méchant serviteur. Tu savais que je suis un homme rigide, retirant ce que je n'ai pas déposé, et moissonnant ce que je n'ai pas semé;
23 Then why didn’t you deposit my money in the bank, and at my coming, I might have earned interest on it?’
pourquoi donc n'as-tu pas mis mon argent à la banque? Et à mon retour, je l'aurais retiré avec les intérêts.
24 He said to those who stood by, ‘Take the mina [50 sheckles; 1.25 lb; 0.57 kg] away from him, and give it to him who has the ten minas [500 sheckles; 12.5 lb; 5.67 kg].’
Et il dit à ceux qui étaient là: Otez-lui la mine, et donnez-la à celui qui en a dix.
25 “They said to him, ‘Lord, he has ten minas!’
— Seigneur, lui dirent-ils, il en a dix. —
26 ‘For I tell you that to everyone who has, will more be given; but from him who does not have, even that which he has will be taken away from him.
Je vous le dis, à quiconque possède, on donnera; et à celui qui n'a pas, on ôtera même ce qu'il a.
27 But bring those enemies of mine who didn’t want me to reign over them here, and kill them before me.’”
Quant à ces gens qui me haïssent et n'ont pas voulu m'avoir pour roi, amenez-les ici, et égorgez-les en ma présence. "
28 Having said these things, he went on ahead, going up to Jerusalem [City of peace].
Après ce discours, Jésus se mit à marcher en avant, pour monter à Jérusalem.
29 When he came near to Bethsphage and Bethany [House of affliction], at the mountain that is called Olivet, he sent two of his disciples,
Lorsqu'il approcha de Bethphagé et de Béthanie, vers la montagne appelée des Oliviers, Jésus envoya deux de ses disciples,
30 saying, “Go your way into the village on the other side, in which, as you enter, you will find a colt tied, whereon no man ever yet sat. Untie it, and bring it.
en disant: " Allez au village qui est en face; en y entrant, vous trouverez un ânon attaché, sur lequel aucun homme ne s'est jamais assis; détachez-le et l'amenez.
31 If anyone asks you, ‘Why are you untying it?’ say to him: ‘The Lord needs it.’”
Et si quelqu'un vous demande pourquoi vous le détachez, vous répondrez: Parce que le Seigneur en a besoin. "
32 Those who were sent went away, and found things just as he had told them.
Ceux qui étaient envoyés partirent et trouvèrent les choses comme Jésus le leur avait dit.
33 As they were untying the colt, its owners said to them, “Why are you untying the colt?”
Comme ils détachaient l'ânon, ses maîtres leur dirent: " Pourquoi détachez-vous cet ânon? "
34 They said, “The Lord needs it.”
Ils répondirent: " Parce que le Seigneur en a besoin. "
35 They brought it to Yeshua [Salvation]. They threw their cloaks on the colt, and set Yeshua [Salvation] on them.
Et ils l'amenèrent à Jésus; puis, ayant jeté leurs manteaux sur l'ânon, ils y firent monter Jésus.
36 As he went, they spread their cloaks on the road.
A son passage les gens étendaient leurs manteaux sur la route.
37 As he was now getting near, at the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works which they had seen,
Lorsqu'il était déjà près de la descente du mont des Oliviers, toute la foule des disciples, transportés de joie, se mit à louer Dieu à haute voix pour tous les miracles qu'ils avaient vus.
38 saying, “Blessed is the King who comes in the name of MarYah [Master Yahweh]! Shalom ·Complete peace· in heaven, and glory in the highest places!”
" Béni soit, disaient-ils, le roi qui vient au nom du Seigneur! Paix dans le ciel, et gloire au plus haut des cieux! "
39 Some of the Pharisees [Separated] from the multitude said to him, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples!”
Alors quelques Pharisiens, au milieu de la foule, dirent à Jésus: " Maître, réprimandez vos disciples. "
40 He answered them, “I tell you that if these were silent, the stones would cry out.”
Il leur répondit: " Je vous le dis, si eux se taisent, les pierres crieront. "
41 When he came near, he saw the city and wept over it,
Et lorsque, s'étant approché, il aperçut Jérusalem, il pleura sur elle, en disant:
42 saying, “If you, even you, had known today the things which belong to your shalom ·complete peace·! But now, they are hidden from your eyes.
" Si tu connaissais, toi aussi, du moins en ce jour qui t'est donné, ce qui ferait ta paix! Mais maintenant ces choses sont cachées à tes yeux.
43 For the days will come on you, when your enemies will throw up a barricade against you, surround you, hem you in on every side,
Viendront sur toi des jours où tes ennemis t'environneront de tranchées, t'investiront et te serreront de toutes parts;
44 and will dash you and your children within you to the ground. They will not leave in you one stone on another, because you didn’t know the time of your visitation.”
ils te renverseront par terre, toi et tes enfants qui sont dans ton sein, et ils ne laisseront pas dans ton enceinte pierre sur pierre, parce que tu n'as pas connu le temps où tu as été visitée. "
45 He entered into the temple, and began to drive out those who bought and sold in it,
Etant entré dans le temple, il se mit à chasser ceux qui y vendaient et y achetaient,
46 saying to them, “It is written, ‘My house is a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a ‘den of robbers’!”
leur disant: " Il est écrit: Ma maison est une maison de prière, et vous en avez fait une caverne de voleurs. "
47 He was teaching daily in the temple, but the chief priests and the Torah-Teachers and the leading men among the people sought to destroy him.
Jésus passait les journées à enseigner dans le temple. Et les Princes des prêtres, les Scribes et les principaux du peuple cherchaient à le perdre;
48 They couldn’t find what they might do, for all the people hung on to every word that he said.
mais ils ne savaient comment s'y prendre, car tout le peuple l'écoutait avec ravissement.
