Luke 17
1 He said to the disciples, “It is impossible that no occasions of stumbling should come, but woe to him through whom they come!
Er sagte aber zu seinen Jüngern: es ist unvermeidlich, daß Aergernisse kommen. Aber, wehe dem, durch welchen sie kommen.
2 It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, rather than that he should cause one of these little ones to stumble.
Ihm ist es Gewinn, wenn ein Mühlstein an seinen Hals gelegt und er ins Meer gestürzt wird, statt daß er einen von diesen Kleinen ärgere.
3 Be careful. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him. If he makes teshuvah ·complete repentance·, forgive him.
Habet Acht auf euch selbst. Wenn dein Bruder fehlt, so schelte ihn, und wenn er bereut, so vergib ihm.
4 If he sins against you seven times in the day, and seven times returns, saying, ‘I make teshuvah ·complete repentance·,’ you shall forgive him.”
Und wenn er siebenmal des Tages wider dich fehlt, und siebenmal umkehrt zu dir und spricht: es ist mir leid, so sollst du ihm vergeben.
5 The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our trusting faith.”
Und die Apostel sprachen zu dem Herrn: lege uns Glauben zu.
6 The Lord said, “If you had trusting faith like a grain of mustard seed, you would tell this sycamore tree, ‘Be uprooted, and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.
Der Herr aber sprach: hättet ihr Glauben wie ein Senfkorn, so könntet ihr zu diesem Maulbeerfeigenbaum sagen: entwurzle dich und verpflanze dich ins Meer, und er würde euch gehorchen.
7 But who is there among you, having a servant plowing or keeping sheep, that will say, when he comes in from the field, ‘Come immediately and sit down at the table,’
Wer von euch aber hat einen Knecht am Pflug oder auf der Weide, und sagt zu ihm, wenn er vom Felde kommt: sogleich komme her und sitze nieder?
8 and will not rather tell him, ‘Prepare my supper, clothe yourself properly, and serve me, while I eat and drink. Afterward you shall eat and drink’?
sagt er nicht vielmehr zu ihm: richte mir ein Mahl, gürte dich und warte mir auf, bis ich gegessen und getrunken, und nach diesem magst du essen und trinken?
9 Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded? I think not.
Dankt er es etwa dem Knechte, daß er gethan, was ihm befohlen war?
10 Even so you also, when you have done all the things that are commanded you, say, ‘We are unworthy servants. We have done our duty.’”
So auch ihr, wenn ihr gethan habt alles was euch befohlen ist, so saget: wir sind unnütze Knechte; wir haben gethan, was wir zu thun schuldig waren.
11 As he was on his way to Jerusalem [City of peace], he was passing along the borders of Samaria [Watch-mountain] and Galilee [District, Circuit].
Und es geschah, da er nach Jerusalem wanderte, zog er mitten durch Samaria und Galiläa hindurch.
12 As he entered into a certain village, ten men who were afflicted with tzara'at ·leprosy· met him, who stood at a distance.
Und da er an einen Flecken kam, begegneten ihm zehn aussätzige Männer, die standen von ferne,
13 They lifted up their voices, saying, “Yeshua [Salvation], Master, have mercy on us!”
und erhoben ihre Stimme und riefen: Meister, Jesus, erbarme dich unser.
14 When he saw them, he said to them, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.” As they went, they were cleansed.
Und als er es sahe, sagte er zu ihnen: gehet hin und zeiget euch den Priestern; und es geschah, in dem daß sie hingiengen, wurden sie rein.
15 One of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, glorifying God with a loud voice.
Einer von ihnen aber, da er sah, daß er geheilt sei, kehrte um und pries Gott mit lauter Stimme,
16 He fell on his face at Yeshua [Salvation]'s feet, giving him thanks; and he was a Samaritan [person from Watch-mountain].
und fiel aufs Angesicht ihm zu Füßen und dankte ihm; und das war ein Samariter.
17 Yeshua [Salvation] answered, “Were not the ten cleansed? But where are the nine?
Jesus aber antwortete: sind es nicht zehn, die rein geworden? wo sind die neun?
18 Were there none found who teshuvah ·completely returned· to give glory to God, except this stranger?”
Hat sich keiner gefunden, der umkehrte Gott die Ehre zu geben, außer diesem Fremdling?
19 Then he said to him, “Get up, and go your way. Your trusting faith has healed you.”
Und er sagte zu ihm: stehe auf und gehe hin, dein Glaube hat dir geholfen.
20 Being asked by the Pharisees [Separated] when God’s Kingdom would come, he answered them, “God’s Kingdom does not come with observation;
Befragt aber von den Pharisäern, wann das Reich Gottes komme, antwortete er ihnen und sprach: das Reich Gottes kommt nicht mit Aufsehen.
21 neither will they say, ‘Look, here!’ or, ‘Look, there!’ for behold, God’s Kingdom is within you.”
Noch wird man sagen: siehe hier oder da ist es; denn siehe, das Reich Gottes ist unter euch.
22 He said to the disciples, “The days will come, when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it.
Er sprach aber zu den Jüngern: es werden Tage kommen, da ihr begehren werdet einen von den Tagen des Sohnes des Menschen zu sehen, und werdet es nicht sehen.
23 They will tell you, ‘Look, here!’ or ‘Look, there!’ Don’t go away, nor follow after them,
Und man wird euch sagen: siehe hier, siehe da; gehet dem nicht nach.
24 for as the lightning, when it flashes out of the one part under the sky, shines to the other part under the sky; so will the Son of Man be in his day.
Denn wie der Blitz zuckt und seinen Strahl sendet von einer Himmelsgegend in die andere, so wird es mit dem Sohn des Menschen sein an seinem Tage.
25 But first, he must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.
Zuerst aber muß er viel leiden und verworfen werden von diesem Geschlechte.
26 As it was in the days of Noah [Rest], even so will it be also in the days of the Son of Man.
Und wie es war in den Tagen Noahs, so wird es sein in den Tagen des Sohnes des Menschen.
27 They ate, they drank, they married, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah [Rest] entered into the ship, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
Sie aßen, sie tranken, sie freiten, sie ließen sich freien bis auf den Tag, da Noah in den Kasten gieng, und die Flut kam und alle vernichtete.
28 Likewise, even as it was in the days of Lot [Veil, Covering]: they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built;
Ebenso wie es geschah in den Tagen Lot's; sie aßen, sie tranken, sie kauften, sie verkauften, sie pflanzten, sie bauten;
29 but in the day that Lot [Veil, Covering] went out from Sodom [Burning], Yahweh caused it to rain fire and sulfur from the sky, and destroyed them all.
an dem Tage aber, da Lot auszog von Sodom, regnete es Feuer und Schwefel vom Himmel, und vernichtete alle.
30 It will be the same way in the day that the Son of Man is revealed.
Gerade so wird es sein an dem Tage, da der Sohn des Menschen geoffenbart wird.
31 In that day, he who will be on the housetop, and his goods in the house, let him not go down to take them away. Let him who is in the field likewise not turn back.
An jenem Tage - wer auf dem Dache ist und sein Gerät im Haus hat, der steige nicht herab, es zu holen, und wer auf dem Felde ist, desgleichen kehre sich nicht um nach dem was hinter ihm ist.
32 Remember Lot [Veil, Covering]’s wife!
Denket an Lot's Weib.
33 Whoever seeks to save his life loses it, but whoever loses his life preserves it.
Wer sein Leben zu gewinnen sucht, wird es verlieren, und wer es verliert, wird es lebendig machen.
34 I tell you, in that night there will be two people in one bed. The one will be taken, and the other will be left.
Ich sage euch, in dieser Nacht werden zwei auf einem Bette liegen; einer wird angenommen werden, der andere preisgegeben.
35 There will be two grinding grain together. One will be taken, and the other will be left.
Zwei werden mahlen mit einander, die eine wird angenommen werden, die andere preisgegeben.
36 Two will be in the field: the one taken, and the other left.”
Zwei werden auf dem Acker sein; der eine wird angenommen und der andere preisgegeben werden.
37 They, answering, asked him, “Where, Lord?” He said to them, “Where the body is, there will the vultures also be gathered together.”
Und sie antworteten ihm: wo Herr? Er aber sagte zu ihnen: wo der Leichnam ist, da sammeln sich auch die Adler.
