Luke 1
1 Since many have undertaken to set in order a narrative concerning those matters which have been fulfilled among us,
၁ရှေးဦးစွာမှစ၍ ကိုယ်တိုင်မြင်သောသက်သေဖြစ်လျက်၊ နှုတ်ကပတ်တော်မှုကို ဆောင်ရွက်သောသူ တို့သည်၊
2 even as those who from the beginning were eyewitnesses and servants of the word delivered them to us,
၂ငါတို့သည် ထင်ရှားစွာဖြစ်လေပြီးသော အတ္ထုပ္ပတ္တိများကို ငါတို့အားကြားပြောသည် အစဉ်အတိုင်း မှတ်သားသောစာကို စီရင်ရေးထားသောသူ အများရှိကြသည်ဖြစ်၍၊
3 it seemed good to me also, having traced the course of all things accurately from the first, to write to you in order, most excellent Theophilus [God friend];
၃ငါသည်လည်း ထိုအတ္ထုပ္ပတ္တိအလုံးစုံတို့ကို ရှေ့ဦးစွာမှစ၍၊
4 that you might know the certainty concerning the things in which you were instructed.
၄စေ့စေ့ဖွေရှာလိုက်စစ်ပြီးလျှင်၊ ကိုယ်တော်သင်ပြီးသောအကြောင်းအရာတို့ကိုသည် ဧကန်အမှန် ဖြစ် ကြောင်းကို ကိုယ်တော်သိစေခြင်းငှါ အစဉ်အတိုင်းရေးထား၍ ကြားလိုက်မည်အကြံရှိပါ၏၊ အလွန်မြတ်သော သော်ဖိလု။
5 There was in the days of Herod [Heroic], the king of Judea [Praise], a certain priest named Zacharias [Remembered by Yah], of the priestly division of Abiyah [My father Yah]. He had a wife of the daughters of Aaron [Light-bringer], and her name was Elizabeth [My God oath].
၅ယုဒပြည်ကိုအစိုးရသော ဟေရုဒ်မင်းကြီးလက်ထက်၊ အဘိယအသင်းအဝင်ဖြစ်၍၊ ဇာခရိအမည် ရှိ သော ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်တပါးရှိ၏။ သူ၏ခင်ပွန်းသည် အာရုန်အမျိုးအနွယ်ဖြစ်၏။ သူ့အမည်ကား ဧလိရှဗက် တည်း။
6 They were both upright before God, observing all the mitzvot ·instructions· and ordinances of Yahweh blamelessly.
၆ထိုသူနှစ်ယောက်တို့သည် ထာဝရဘုရား၏ ပညတ်တရားတော်အမျိုးမျိုးတို့ကို ကျင့်ဆောင်၍ အပြစ် တင်ခွင့်နှင့်လွတ်သဖြင့်၊ ဘုရားသခင်ရှေ့တော်၌ ဖြောင့်မတ်ခြင်း ပါရမီရှိကြ၏။
7 But they had no child, because Elizabeth [My God oath] was barren, and they both were well advanced in years.
၇ဧလိရှဗက်သည် မြုံသောကြောင့် သူတို့သည်သားမရှိ။ ထိုသူနှစ်ယောက်တို့သည် အသက်အရွယ် ကြီးရင့်ကြ၏။
8 Now while he served in the priest’s office before God in the order of his priestly division,
၈ဇာခရိသည် မိမိအသင်းနှင့်တကွ အလှည့်သင့်၍၊ ဘုရားသခင့်ရှေ့တော်၌ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်အမှုကို ဆောင်ရွက်သည်တွင်၊
9 according to the custom of the priest’s office, his lot was to enter into the temple of Yahweh and burn incense (as the Cohen Gadol ·High Priest· on Yom Kippur ·Day of Atonement·. On the 7th month of Ethanim on the 10th day).
၉ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်ထုံးစံအတိုင်း စာရေးထံချသဖြင့်၊ သူသည်ထာဝရဘုရား၏ ဗိမာန်တော်အတွင်းသို့ ဝင် ၍ နံ့သာပေါင်းကိုမီးရှို့၏။
10 All the people were outside, praying, at the time of the incense burning,
၁၀ထိုသို့နံ့သာပေါင်းကို မီးရှို့သည့်အချိန်တွင်၊ လူအများအပေါင်းတို့သည် ပြင်၌ဆုတောင်းလျက် နေကြ ၏။
11 when there appeared to him an angel of MarYah [Master Yahweh], standing on the right side of the altar of incense.
၁၁ထိုအခါ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ ကောင်းကင်တမန်သည်ထင်ရှား၍၊ နံ့သာပေါင်းကိုရှို့သော ယဇ်ပလ္လင် လက်ျာဘက်၌ ရပ်နေသည်ကို၊
12 Zacharias [Remembered by Yah] was troubled when he saw him, and fear fell upon him.
၁၂ဇာခရိသည်မြင်လျှင်၊ စိတ်နှလုံးမငြိမ်မဝပ် ထိတ်လန့်ခြင်းသို့ရောက်၏။
13 But the angel said to him, “Don’t be afraid, Zacharias [Remembered by Yah], because your request has been heard, and your wife, Elizabeth [My God oath], will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John [Yah is gracious].
၁၃ကောင်းကင်တမန်ကလည်း၊ ဇာခရိ၊ ကြောက်ရွံ့ခြင်းမရှိနှင့်။ သင်ပြုသော ပဌနာကိုနာခံတော်မူပြီ။ သင်၏ခင်ပွန်းဧလိရှဗက်သည် သားယောက်ျားကိုဘွားမြင်လိမ့်မည်။ ထိုသားကို ယောဟန်အမည်ဖြင့် မှည့်ရ မည်။
14 You will have joy and gladness; and many will rejoice at his birth.
၁၄သင်သည်ဝမ်းသာရွင်မြူးခြင်း ရှိလိမ့်မည်။ ထိုသားကိုဘွားမြင်သောကြောင့် လူအများတို့သည်လည်း ဝမ်းမြောက်ခြင်းသို့ရောက်ကြလိမ့်မည်။
15 For he will be great in the sight of MarYah [Master Yahweh], and he will drink no wine nor strong drink. He will be filled with Ruach haKodesh [Spirit of the Holiness], even from his mother’s womb.
၁၅အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ထိုသားသည် ထာဝရဘုရားရှေ့တော်၌ ကြီးမြတ်သောသူဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်။ စပျစ်ရည် နှင့်ယစ်မျိုးကို မသောက်ဘဲနေ၍၊ အမိဝမ်းထဲကပင် သန့်ရှင်းသောဝိညာဉ်တော်နှင့် ပြည့်ဝလိမ့်မည်။
16 He will turn many of the children of to MarYah [Master Yahweh], their God.
၁၆ဣသရေလအမျိုးသား အမျိုးသားအများတို့ကို သူတို့ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားထံတော်သို့ ပြောင်းလဲ စေလိမ့်မည်။
17 He will go before him in the spirit and power of Elijah [My God Yah], ‘to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children,’ and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to prepare a people prepared for Adonai.”
၁၇အဘတို့နှင့် သားတို့ကို အသင့်အတင့်ဖြစ်စေခြင်းငှါ၎င်း၊ ငြင်းဆန်သောသူတို့ကို သူတော်ကောင်းတို့၏ သတိပညာလမ်းသို့ ပြောင်းလဲစေသောအားဖြင့်၊ ထာဝရဘုရားအဘို့အလိုငှါ ပြင်ဆင်သောလူမျိုးဖြစ်စေ ခြင်းငှါ ၎င်း၊ သူသည်ဧလိယ၏ စိတ်ဝိညာဉ်တန်ခိုးနှင့်ပြည့်စုံလျက်၊ ဘုရားသခင်ရှေ့တော်သို့ သွားလိမ့်မည်ဟု ကောင်း ကင်တမန်ပြောဆို၏။
18 Zacharias [Remembered by Yah] said to the angel, “How can I be sure of this? For I am an old man, and my wife is well advanced in years.”
၁၈ဇာခရိကလည်း၊ ထိုသို့ဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်ကို အကျွန်ုပ်သည် အဘယ်သို့သိရပါမည်နည်း။ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် လူ အိုဖြစ်ပါ၏။ အကျွန်ုပ်မထားသည်လည်း အသက်အရွယ်ကြီးရင့်ပါပြီဟု ကောင်းကင်တမန်အား ပြောဆိုလျှင်၊
19 The angel answered him, “I am Gabriel [Man of God], who stands in the presence of God. I was sent to speak to you, and to bring you this good news.
၁၉ကောင်းကင်တမန်က၊ ငါသည် ဘုရားသခင့်အထံတော်၌ ခစားသောဂါဗြေလဖြစ်၏။ သင့်ကို နှုတ် ဆက်၍ ဤဝမ်းမြောက်စရာသိတင်းကို ကြားပြောစေခြင်းငှါ ငါ့ကိုစေလွှတ်တော်မူ၏။
20 Behold, you will be silent and not able to speak, until the day that these things will happen, because you didn’t believe my words, which will be fulfilled in their proper time.”
၂၀သင်သည် ငါ့စကားကိုမယုံသောကြောင့် ဤအကြောင်းအရာမဖြစ်မှီနေ့တိုင်အောင် စကားမပြော နိုင်ဘဲ၊ အလျက်နေလိမ့်မည်။ ငါ့စကားသည်ကား၊ အချိန်တန်လျှင် ပြည့်စုံလိမ့်မည်ဟု ပြောဆို၏။
21 The people were waiting for Zacharias [Remembered by Yah], and they marveled that he delayed in the temple.
၂၁လူများတို့သည် ဇာခရိကို ငံ့လင့်၍၊ ဗိမာန်တော်အတွင်း၌ ကြာမြင့်စွာနေသည်ကိုအံ့ဩခြင်းရှိကြ၏။
22 When he came out, he could not speak to them, and they perceived that he had seen a vision in the temple. He continued making signs to them, and remained mute.
၂၂သူသည်ထွက်လာသောအခါ စကားမပြောနိုင်သည်ဖြစ်၍၊ ဗိမာန်တော်၌ ဗျာဒိတ်ရှုပါရုံကို မြင်ပြီဟု ရိပ်မိကြ၏။ ဇာခရိသည်သူတို့အား အရိပ်အမှတ်ကိုသာပေး၍ စကားအလျက်နေ၏။
23 When the days of his service were fulfilled, he departed to his house.
၂၃ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်အမှုကို ဆောင်ရွက်ရသောအချိန်ကာလကုန်သောအခါ၊ ဇာခရိသည် မိမိအိမ်သို့ သွား လေ၏။
24 After these days Elizabeth [My God oath], his wife, conceived, and she hid herself five months, saying,
၂၄ထိုနောက်သူ၏ခင်ပွန်း ဧလိရှဗက်သည် ပဋိသန္ဓေစွဲ၍၊
25 “Thus has MarYah [Master Yahweh] done to me in the days in which he looked at me, to take away my reproach among men.”
၂၅ငါသည်လူတို့တွင်ခံရသော ကဲ့ရဲ့ခြင်းအကြောင်းကို ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ပယ်ရှင်းခြင်းငှါ ငါ့ကို ကြည့်ရှု တော်မူစဉ်တွင်၊ ဤကျေးဇူးတော်ကို ပြုတော်မူပြီဟုဆိုလျက်၊ ငါးလပတ်လုံး အိမ်တွင်း၌အောင်း၍ နေလေ၏။
26 Now in the sixth month, the angel Gabriel [Man of God] was sent from God to a city of Galilee [District, Circuit], named Nazareth [Branch, Separated one],
၂၆ငါးလလွန်သောအခါ၊ ဂါလိလဲပြည်နာဇရက်မြို့၌ ဒါဝိဒ်အမျိုးသား၊ ယောသပ်အမည်ရှိသောလူနှင့် ထိမ်းမြားဆောင်နှင့်၍၊
27 to a virgin pledged to be married to a man whose name was Joseph [May he add], of David [Beloved]’s house. The virgin’s name was Mary [Rebellion].
၂၇မရှက်တင်သေးသော သတို့သမီးကညာဆီသို့ ဘုရားသခင်သည် ကောင်းကင်တမန်ဂါဗြေလကို စေ လွှတ်တော်မူ၏။ သတို့သမီးကညာကား၊ မာရိအမည်ရှိ၏။
28 Having come in, the angel said to her, “Shalom ·Complete peace·, favored lady! Adonai is with you. Blessed are you among women!”
၂၈ကောင်းကင်တမန်သည် ရောက်လာလျှင်၊ ကျေးဇူးတော်ကိုခံရသောမိန်းမ၊ သင့်အားမင်္ဂလာ ဖြစ်စေ သတည်း။ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် သင်နှင့်အတူရှိတော်မူ၏။ သင်သည် မိန်းမတကာတို့ ထက်မြတ်စွာသော မင်္ဂလာရှိသည်ဟု ပြောဆို၏။
29 But when she saw him, she was greatly troubled at the saying, and considered what kind of salutation this might be.
၂၉မာရိသည် ထိုစကားကိုကြားလျှင် စိတ်နှလုံးမငြိမ်မဝပ်ရှိ၍၊ ဤနှုတ်ဆတ်ခြင်းကား အဘယ်သို့သော နှုတ်ဆက်ခြင်းဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်နည်းဟု တွေးတောဆင်ခြင်၍နေ၏။
30 The angel said to her, “Don’t be afraid, Mary [Rebellion], for you have found favor with God.
၃၀ကောင်းကင်တမန်ကလည်း၊ မာရိ၊ ကြောက်ရွံ့ခြင်းမရှိနှင့်။ သင်သည် ဘုရားသခင်ရှေ့တော်၌ မျက်နှာ ရပြီ။
31 Behold, you will conceive in your womb, and give birth to a son, and will call his name ‘Yeshua [Salvation].’
၃၁သင်သည် ပဋိသန္ဓေစွဲယူ၍ သားယောက်ျားကိုဘွားမြင်လိမ့်မည်။ ထိုသားကို ယေရှုအမည်ဖြင့် မှည့်ရ မည်။
32 He will be great, and will be called haBen haElohim Chayim [the Son of the God Living]. MarYah [Master Yahweh] God will give him the throne of his forefather, David [Beloved],
၃၂ထိုသားသည်ကား၊ ကြီးမြတ်သောသူ ဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်။ အမြင့်ဆုံးသော ဘုရား၏သားတော်ဟု ခေါ်ဝေါ် သမုတ်ခြင်းကို ခံရလိမ့်မည်။ သူ့အဘဒါဝိဒ်၏ ရာဇပလ္လင်ကို ထာဝရအရှင်သခင်သည် သူ့အားပေးတော်မူ မည်။
33 and he will reign over the house of Jacob [Supplanter] forever. There will be no end to his Kingdom.” (aiōn g165)
၃၃ထိုသူသည်လည်း ယာကုပ်အမျိုးအနွယ်ကို အစဉ်မပြတ်အုပ်စိုးလိမ့်မည်။ သူ၏နိုင်ငံသည်လည်း ဆုံး ခြင်းမရှိရဟုပြောဆို၏။ (aiōn g165)
34 Mary [Rebellion] said to the angel, “How can this be, seeing I am a virgin?”
၃၄မာရိကလည်း၊ ဤအမှုအရာသည် အဘယ်သို့ဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်နည်း။ အကျွန်ုပ်ယောက်ျားနှင့် မဆက်ဆံ ပါဟု ကောင်းကင်တမန်အား ပြန်ပြော၏။
35 The angel answered her, “The Ruach Kodesh [Holy Spirit] will come on you, and the power of the Elyon [Most High] will overshadow you. Therefore also the holy one who is born from you will be called the Ben-Elohim ·Son of Elohim God·.
၃၅ကောင်းကင်တမန်ကလည်း၊ သန့်ရှင်းသောဝိညာဉ်တော်သည် သင်၏အပေါ်မှာ သက်ရောက်တော် မူ၍၊ အမြင့်ဆုံးသောဘုရား၏တန်ခိုးအာနုဘော်တော်သည် သင့်ကိုလွှမ်းမိုးလိမ့်မည်။ ထိုအကြောင်းကြောင့် ထိုသန့်ရှင်းသောသားသည်လည်း ဘုရားသခင်၏သားတော်ဟု ခေါ်ဝေါ်သမုတ်ခြင်းကို ခံရလိမ့်မည်။
36 Behold, Elizabeth [My God oath], your relative, also has conceived a son in her old age; and this is the sixth month with her who was called barren.
၃၆ထိုမှတပါး၊ အမြုံမဟူ၍ခေါ်ဝေါ်သောသင်၏ အဆွေအမျိုးဧလိရှဗက်သည် ပဋိသန္ဓေစွဲယူ၍ ယခု ခြောက်လအဝင်ရှိပြီ။
37 For nothing spoken by God is impossible.”
၃၇ဘုရားသခင်တတ်နိုင်တော်မမူသောအမှုမရှိဟု ပြောဆိုလျှင်၊
38 Mary [Rebellion] said, “Behold, the servant of MarYah [Master Yahweh]; let it be done to me according to your word.” The angel departed from her.
၃၈မာရိက၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ထာဝရဘုရား၏ကျွန်မဖြစ်ပါ၏၊ ကိုယ်တော်၏စကားအတိုင်း အကျွန်ုပ်၌ ဖြစ် ပါစေသောဟု ဝန်ခံပြီးမှ၊ ကောင်းကင်တမန်သည် မာရိထံမှသွားလေ၏။
39 Mary [Rebellion] arose in those days and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Judah [Praised],
၃၉ထိုအခါမာရိသည်ထ၍၊ တောင်ကြားအရပ်၌ရှိသော ယုဒမြို့တမြို့သို့ အလျင်အမြန် သွားပြီးလျှင်၊
40 and entered into the house of Zacharias [Remembered by Yah] and greeted Elizabeth [My God oath].
၄၀ဇာခရိအိမ်သို့ဝင်၍ ဧလိရှဗက်ကို နှုတ်ဆက်လေ၏။
41 When Elizabeth [My God oath] heard Mary [Rebellion]’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth [My God oath] was filled with Ruach haKodesh [Spirit of the Holiness].
၄၁ထိုနှုတ်ဆက်ခြင်းစကားကို ဧလိရှဗက်သည် ကြားစဉ်တွင် မိမိဝမ်း၌ရှိသောသူငယ်သည်ခုန်၍၊ မိမိသည် သန့်ရှင်းသောဝိညာဉ်တော်နှင့် ပြည့်ဝလျက်၊
42 She called out with a loud voice, and said, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb!
၄၂သင်သည် မိန်းမတကာတို့ ထက်မြတ်စွာသောမင်္ဂလာရှိ၏။ သင်၏ဝမ်း၌ရှိသောသူငယ်သည်လည်း မြတ်စွာသော မင်္ဂလာရှိ၏။
43 Why am I so favored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
၄၃အကျွန်ုပ်သခင်၏ မယ်တော်သည် အကျွန်ုပ်ဆီသို့ ကြွလာသောကျေးဇူးကို အဘယ်အကြောင်းကြောင့် အကျွန်ုပ်ခံရပါသနည်း။
44 For behold, when the voice of your greeting came into my ears, the baby leaped in my womb for joy!
၄၄သင်၏နှုတ်ဆက်ခြင်းစကားသံကို အကျွန်ုပ်ကြားစဉ်တွင်၊ အကျွန်ုပ်ဝမ်းထဲ၌ သူငယ်သည်ရွှင်မြူးသော စိတ်နှင့်ခုန်၏။
45 Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of the things which have been spoken to her from MarYah [Master Yahweh]!”
၄၅ယုံကြည်သောမိန်းမသည်မင်္ဂလာရှိ၏။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ထိုမိန်းမအား ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူသော စကားသည် ပြည့်စုံလိမ့်မည်ဟု ကြီးသောအသံနှင့် မြွက်ဆို၏။
46 Mary [Rebellion] said, “My soul magnifies Adonai.
၄၆မာရိကလည်း၊ ငါ့စိတ်နှလုံးသည် ထာဝရဘုရားကို ချီးမွမ်း၏။
47 My spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior,
၄၇ငါ့ကိုကယ်တင်တော်မူသောအရှင်ဘုရားသခင်ကို အမှီပြု၍ ငါ့ဝိညာဉ်သည် ရွှင်လန်းခြင်းရှိ၏။
48 for he has looked at the humble state of his servant. For behold, from now on, all generations will call me blessed.
၄၈အကြောင်းမူကား၊ မိမိကျွန်မ၏နှိမ့်ချသောအဖြစ်ကိုကြည့်ရှုတော်မူပြီ။ နောင်ကာလ၌ ခပ်သိမ်းသောလူ အစဉ်အဆက်တို့သည် ငါ့ကိုမင်္ဂလာရှိသောသူဟူ၍ ခေါ်ကြလိမ့်မည်။
49 For he who is mighty has done great things for me. Holy is his name.
၄၉တန်ခိုးနှင့်ပြည့်စုံတော်မူသောဘုရားသည် အံ့ဘွယ်သောကျေးဇူးတော်ကို ငါ့အားပြုတော်မူပြီ၊ ထိုဘုရား ၏ နာမတော်သည် ရိုသေဘွယ်ဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။
50 And in every generation, he has eleos ·merciful compassion in action· on those who fear him.
၅၀ထာဝရဘုရားကို ကြောက်ရွံ့သောသူတို့သည် သနားတော်မူခြင်း ကျေးဇူးကိုအစဉ်မပြတ်ခံစားကြ၏။
51 He has shown strength with his arm. He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
၅၁လက်ရုံးတော်အားဖြင့် တန်ခိုးကိုပြတော်မူပြီ။ မာနထောင်လွှားသောသူတို့ကို ကွဲလွင့်စေတော်မူပြီ။
52 He has put down princes from their thrones. And has exalted the lowly.
၅၂ဘုရင်တို့ကို ရာဇပလ္လင်ပေါ်မှချ၍ နှိမ့်ချသောသူတို့ကို ချီးမြှောက်တော်မူပြီ။
53 He has filled the hungry with good things. He has sent the rich away empty.
၅၃ငတ်မွတ်သောသူတို့ကို ကောင်းမွန်စွာကျွေး၍ ရတတ်သောသူတို့ကို လက်ချည်းလွှတ်လိုက်တော်မူပြီ။
54 He has given help to Israel [God prevails], his servant, that he might remember eleos ·merciful compassion in action·,
၅၄ငါတို့ဘိုးဘေးများတို့အား ဗျာဒိတ်ထားတော်မူသည်နှင့်အညီ၊
55 As he spoke to our fathers, to Abraham [Father of a multitude] and his offspring forever.” (aiōn g165)
၅၅အာဗြဟံမှစသောသူ၏အမျိုးအနွယ်အား သနားခြင်းကျေးဇူးတော်ကို အစဉ်အမြဲပြုခြင်းငှါ သတိထား ၍ မိမိကျွန် ဣသရေလကို မစတော်မူပြီဟုဆို၏။ (aiōn g165)
56 Mary [Rebellion] stayed with her about three months, and then teshuvah ·completely returned· to her house.
၅၆မာရိသည်လည်း ဧလိရှဗက်ထံမှာ သုံးလခန့်နေပြီးမှ မိမိအိမ်သို့ပြန်လေ၏။
57 Now the time that Elizabeth [My God oath] should give birth was fulfilled, and she gave birth to a son.
၅၇ဧလိရှဗက်သည် ဘွားအံ့သောနေ့လစေ့သောအခါ သားယောက်ျားကိုဘွားမြင်၏။
58 Her neighbors and her relatives heard that Adonai had magnified his eleos ·merciful compassion in action· towards her, and they rejoiced with her.
၅၈ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ထူးမြတ်သောသနားခြင်း ကျေးဇူးတော်ကို ဧလိရှဗက်အားပြုတော်မူသည်ကို၊ အိမ် နီးချင်းအဆွေအမျိုးတို့သည် ကြားလတ်သော်၊ သူနှင့်အတူ ဝမ်းမြောက်ဝမ်းသာကြ၏။
59 On the eighth day, they came to circumcise the child; and they would have called him Zacharias [Remembered by Yah], after the name of his father.
၅၉ရှစ်ရက်မြောက်သောနေ့၌ အရေဖျားလှီးခြင်းကို သူငယ်အားပေးအံ့သောငှါလာကြ၍၊ အဘ၏အမည် ဖြစ်သော ဇာခရိအမည်ဖြင့် မှည့်သောအခါ အမိက၊ ထိုသို့မမှည့်ရ။
60 His mother answered, “Not so; but he will be called John [Yah is gracious].”
၆၀ယောဟန်အမည်ဖြင့် မှည့်ရမည်ဟုဆိုလျှင်၊ သူတို့က၊
61 They said to her, “There is no one among your relatives who is called by this name.”
၆၁ယောဟန်အမည်ဖြင့် သင်၏အဆွေအမျိုးတွင် တယောက်ကိုမျှမမှည့်ဟုဆို၍၊
62 They made signs to his father, what he would have him called.
၆၂အဘသည်အဘယ်သို့မှည့်စေလိုသနည်းဟု အမှတ်အားဖြင့်မေးကြ၏။
63 He asked for a writing tablet, and wrote, “His name is John [Yah is gracious].” They all marveled.
၆၃အဘသည်လည်း သင်ပုံးကိုတောင်း၍၊ သူ၏အမည်ကားယောဟန်ဖြစ်၏ဟု ရေးလေသော်၊ ထိုသူ အ ပေါင်းတို့သည် အံ့ဩခြင်းရှိကြ၏။
64 His mouth was opened immediately, and his tongue freed, and he spoke, blessing God.
၆၄ထိုခဏခြင်းတွင် ဇာခရိသည်နှုတ်ဖွင့်ခြင်း၊ လျှာလွတ်ခြင်းရှိသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ စကားအားဖြင့် ဘုရားသခင် ၏ကျေးဇူးတော်ကို ချီးမွမ်းလေ၏။
65 Fear came on all who lived around them, and all these sayings were talked about throughout all the hill country of Judea [Praise].
၆၅အိမ်နီးချင်းရှိသမျှတို့သည် ကြောက်ရွံ့ခြင်းရှိကြ၍ ထိုအမှုအရာများသည် ယုဒပြည်တောင်ကြား အရပ် တို့၌ အနှံ့အပြားကျော်စောလေ၏။
66 All who heard them laid them up in their heart, saying, “What then will this child be?” The hand of MarYah [Master Yahweh] was with him.
၆၆ကြားသောသူအပေါင်းတို့သည် နှလုံးထဲ၌မှတ်သား၍၊ ဤသူငယ်သည် အဘယ်သို့သောသူဖြစ်လိမ့် မည်နည်းဟုဆိုကြ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ လက်တော်သည်လည်း သူငယ်နှင့်အတူရှိတော်မူ၏။
67 His father, Zacharias [Remembered by Yah], was filled with Ruach haKodesh [Spirit of the Holiness], and prophesied, saying,
၆၇သူ၏အဘ ဇာခရိသည် သန့်ရှင်းသောဝိညာဉ်တော်နှင့်ပြည်ဝလျက်၊
68 “Blessed be MarYah [Master Yahweh], the God of Israel [God prevails], for he has visited and redeemed his people;
၆၈ဣသရေလအမျိုး၏ ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရဘုရားသည် မင်္ဂလာရှိတော်မူစေသတည်း။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ကမ္ဘာဦးမှစ၍ ပေါ်ထွန်းသောမိမိ သန့်ရှင်းသောပရောဖက်တို့နှုတ်ဖြင့် ဗျာဒိတ်ထားတော်မူသည်နှင့်အညီ၊ ငါတို့ သည် ရန်သူဘေးနှင့်ကင်းလွတ်၍ ဘုရားသခင့်ရှေ့တော်၌ တသက်လုံးသန့်ရှင်းဖြောင့်မတ်ခြင်း ပါရမီအားဖြင့် ဘုရားဝတ်ကိုရဲရင့်စွာပြုရသောအခွင့်ကိုပေးမည်ဟု ငါတို့အဘအာဗြဟံအား ကျိန်ဆိုခြင်း ဂတိတော်တည်း ဟူသောသန့်ရှင်းသောပဋိညာဉ်တရားကို အောက်မေ့တော်မူသဖြင့်၎င်း၊ ငါတို့ ဘိုးဘေးများနှင့် ဝန်ခံတော်မူ သော သနားခြင်းကျေးဇူးကို ပြုတော်မူသဖြင့်၎င်း၊ မိမိလူမျိုးကို အကြည့်အရှုကြွလာလျက် ရွေးနှုတ်ခြင်း ကျေးဇူး ကိုပြုတော်မူ၍၊ ငါတို့ကိုရန်သူလက်မှ၎င်း၊ မုန်းသောသူရှိသမျှတို့လက်မှ၎င်း ကယ်လွှတ်မည်အကြောင်း၊ ကယ် လွှတ်ခြင်းဦးချိုကို မိမိကျွန်ဒါဝိဒ်အမျိုးထဲ၌ ငါတို့အားပေါ်ထွန်းစေတော်မူပြီ။ (aiōn g165)
69 and has raised up a horn of yishu'ah ·salvation· for us in the house of his servant David [Beloved]

71 yishu'ah ·salvation· from our enemies, and from the hand of all who hate us;

72 to show eleos ·merciful compassion in action· towards our fathers, to remember his holy covenant ·binding contract between two or more parties·,

73 the covenant oath which he swore to Abraham [Father of a multitude], Avinu ·our Father·,
၇၃
74 to grant to us that we, being delivered out of the hand of our enemies, should serve him without fear,
၇၄
75 In holiness and righteousness before him all the days of our life.
၇၅
76 And you, child, will be called a prophet of the Elyon [Most High], for you will go before the face of Yahweh to prepare his ways,
၇၆အချင်းသူငယ်၊ သင်သည်လည်း အမြင့်ဆုံးသောဘုရား၏ ပရောဖက်ဟုခေါ်ဝေါ်ခြင်းကို ခံရလိမ့်မည်။
77 to give knowledge of yishu'ah ·salvation· to his people by the remission of their sins,
၇၇အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ငါတို့ဘုရားသခင်၏ သနားတော်မူခြင်း ကျေးဇူးတော်အားဖြင့် အပြစ်ဖြေ၍ ကယ် တင်ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်နိုင်ကြောင်းကို ဘုရားသခင်၏လူမျိုးအား ဘော်ပြသဖြင့်၊ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ လမ်းခရီးတော် ကို ပြင်ဆင်ခြင်းငှါ သင်သည် ရှေ့တော်၌သွားရလိမ့်မည်။
78 because of the tender eleos ·merciful compassion in action· of our God, whereby the dawn from on high will visit us,
၇၈ထိုသနားတော်မူခြင်းကျေးဇူးတော်အားဖြင့်၊ ကောင်းကင်မှနေ အာရုဏ်သည် ငါတို့အပေါ်သို့ တက် သဖြင့်၊
79 to shine on those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death; to guide our feet into the way of peace.”
၇၉မှောင်မိုက်နှင့်သေမင်း၏ အရိပ်ထဲတွင် ရှိနေသောသူတို့၌ အလင်းပေါ်ထွန်း၍၊ ငါတို့အား ငြိမ်သက် ခြင်းလမ်းကို ပြလျက်ရှိသည်ဟု ပရောဖက်ဥာဏ်နှင့် ဟောလေ၏။
80 The child was growing, and becoming strong in spirit, and was in the desert until the day of his public appearance to Israel [God prevails].
၈၀ထိုသူငယ်သည်ကား၊ ကြီးပွား၍ ဥာဏ်သတ္တိနှင့်ပြည့်စုံ၏။ ဣသရေလလူတို့အား မထင်ရှားမှီ တိုင် အောင် တောအရပ်၌နေလေ၏။
