< Romans 6 >

1 What shall we say then? Let us continue in sin, that grace may abound still more?
De ia na tae saa fai? Neꞌo hei duꞌa mae, “Lamatuaꞌ liliiꞌ hendi sala tara ena, huu ralan maloleꞌ. Naa de, malole lenaꞌ ata tao salaꞌ takandoo, fo Lamatuaꞌ natudꞌu rala malolen lenaꞌ neu nggita.”
2 God forbid! How shall we, who died to sin, live any longer in it?
Nda taꞌo naa sa! Nda nandaa sa mete ma ata tao salaꞌ takandooꞌ a, huu taꞌetuꞌ basa ena tae, ata hiruꞌ tasadꞌea hela sala-kilu tara ena. Nda bisa saa, to?
3 Are ye ignorant, that all of us who were baptized into Jesus Christ, were baptized into his death?
Mbei ma hei nda mihine sa mae, leleꞌ hita sarani, naa dadꞌi tatandaꞌ oi, hita lao hela masodꞌa mbara tara ena de dadꞌi atahori feuꞌ, naeni, mana nenefutu-paꞌaꞌ to Yesus Kristus. Naa onaꞌ hita mate to E ena.
4 We then by this baptism into his death were buried with him; that as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.
Leleꞌ Kristus mate, ara raꞌoi E. Leleꞌ hita sarani, naa onaꞌ hita mate lao hela masodꞌa mbara tara, de ara raꞌoi nggita. Naa, Ama Lamatuaꞌ pake koasa manaselin, fo tao nasodꞌa baliꞌ Kristus mia mamaten. Ama Lamatuaꞌ o nau hita simbo koasan naa, fo tasodꞌa baliꞌ dadꞌi atahori feuꞌ.
5 For if we have been made completely like him in his death, we shall be made like him in his resurrection also;
Naa onaꞌ hita mate to Yesus. Dadꞌi hita mana nenefutu-paꞌaꞌ to E, neꞌo hita o tasodꞌa baliꞌ mia mamates, onaꞌ Ana nasodꞌa baliꞌ ena.
6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that we might no longer be in slavery to sin;
Feꞌesaꞌan, hita dadꞌi atahori mana tao salaꞌ mataꞌ-mataꞌ. Te masodꞌa mbara tara naa, nambalulutu ena, onaꞌ ara mbaku risa nggita sia hau ngganggeꞌ to Kristus ena. Ia naa, deꞌulakaꞌ mana sia rala tara nda naꞌena koasa fo nalalao nggita sa ena. Ia naa, hita nda nenefutu-paꞌaꞌ fo tao salaꞌ sa ena. Huu hita nda afiꞌ onaꞌ ate mana nda naꞌena hak fo pili nae tao saa.
7 for he that hath died hath been set free from sin.
Mete ma atahori mate ena, eni nenemboꞌit ena, to?
8 And if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him;
Dadꞌi, huu naa onaꞌ hita mate ena to Kristus, na, hita tamahere tae, dei fo ata tasodꞌa takandoo to E boe.
9 since we know that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dieth no more; death hath dominion over him no longer.
10 For in that he died, he died to sin once for all; but in that he liveth, he liveth to God.
Feꞌesaꞌan, Ana mate lao esaꞌ a, fo lea hendi salaꞌ koasan ena.
11 Thus do ye too consider yourselves as dead to sin, but alive to God, through Jesus Christ.
Hei o musi tao ao mara taꞌo ia. Onaꞌ hei mate ena, naa de salaꞌ nda naꞌena koasa neu nggi sa ena. De ia naa, hei musi misodꞌa fo mitudꞌu hadꞌa-hormat neu Lamatuaꞌ, huu hei nenefutu-paꞌaꞌ mo Yesus Kristus ena.
12 Let not then sin reign in your mortal body, bringing you into subjection to its lusts,
Afiꞌ hela deꞌulakaꞌ mana sia ralam hambu koasa fo nalalao nggo fai, fo akaꞌ tungga ao sisim hihii-nanaun fo tao deꞌulakaꞌ ra. Te neꞌo ho mate boe.
13 nor yield up your members to sin as instruments of unrighteousness; but yield up yourselves to God, as being alive from the dead, and your members to God as instruments of righteousness.
Boe ma afi fee aom fo tao dꞌala nda maloleꞌ ra sa, te naa sala boe. Te fee aom neu Lamatualain, fo Ana nalalao nggo. Onaꞌ ho mate ena, basa ma musodꞌa baliꞌ. Dadꞌi fee basa masodꞌam fo tao dꞌala ndoo-tetuꞌ ra, fee neu Lamatuaꞌ.
14 For sin shall not hold dominion over you; for ye are not under the Law, but under grace.
Afiꞌ fee salaꞌ ra ralalao nggi, ona salaꞌ ra dadꞌi hei malanggam. Ia naa, hei nda parlu misodꞌa tao tungga baꞌi Musa hohoro-lalanen fai fo malole baliꞌ mo Lamatuaꞌ. Te hei misodꞌa ndoos, huu Lamatuaꞌ natudꞌu rala malolen neu nggi. De ia naa, rala malolen naa, mana nalalao nggi.
15 What then? Are we to sin, because we are not under the Law, but under grace? God forbid!
Dadꞌi, taꞌo bee? Mbei ma hei duꞌa mae, “Huu hita nda afiꞌ tasodꞌa tungga baꞌi Musa hohoro-lalanen sa ena, fo maloleꞌ to E, de hela neu fo ata tao salaꞌ takandooꞌ a leo. Huu Lamatuaꞌ feꞌe nau natudꞌu rala malolen neu nggita!” Hei duꞌa taꞌo naa, to? Au ufadꞌe, e! Naa sala!
16 Know ye not, that whomever ye choose to obey as a master, his bondmen ye are, whether of sin whose fruit is death, or of obedience whose fruit is righteousness?
Au fee conto onaꞌ malangga no ate. Mete ma hei fee ao mara fo tao ues fee atahori sa, na, hei musi rena e, ma tao ues tungga hihii-nanaun. Huu eni, hei malanggam. Ma hei, eni ate nara. Onaꞌ naa boe, hei bisa pili mae tungga bee ka. Huu hei bisa pili fo tao salaꞌ, fo dadꞌi salaꞌ a aten. Ma, hei o bisa pili fo tao ndoo-tetuꞌ, ma dadꞌi ate fo tao tungga saa fo Lamatuaꞌ denu nggi. Mete ma hei pili taꞌo naa, na, hei bisa dadꞌi maloleꞌ mo E!
17 But thanks be to God that, though ye were the bondmen of sin, ye became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching which was delivered to you;
Feꞌesaꞌan, hei hela salaꞌ nalalao nggi, te ia naa, hei tungga rala mara, fo tao tungga saa fo atahori saraniꞌ ra ranori neu nggiꞌ a.
18 and being made free from sin, ye became the bondmen of righteousness.
Huu Lamatuaꞌ mboꞌi nggi mia salaꞌ koasan, losa salaꞌ a nda nalalao nggi sa ena. De ia naa, dꞌala ndoo-tetuꞌ a nalalao nggi.
19 I speak in a way common among men on account of the weakness of your flesh. For as ye once yielded your members as slaves to impurity and to iniquity, in order to commit iniquity, so now yield your members as bondmen to righteousness in order to become holy.
Au olaꞌ ia, endiꞌ conto fais-fais mia malangga no aten, naa fo mihine no malolole au masud ngga. Feꞌesaꞌan, hei fee ao mara dadꞌi ate fo tao salaꞌ, mana tao nggi dadꞌi manggenggeo-malaafuꞌ, tungga Musa Hohoro-lalanen. Te ia naa, hei musi fee ao mara dadꞌi ate fo misodꞌa tao ndoo-tetuꞌ a, fo tao nggi dadꞌi meumareꞌ sia Lamatuaꞌ matan.
20 For when ye were the slaves of sin, ye were not the bondmen of righteousness.
Feꞌesaꞌan, leleꞌ ama akaꞌ rena ma tao tunggaꞌ a salaꞌ hihii-nanaun, hei nda afiꞌ rena ma tao tungga ndoo-tetuꞌ a sa ena.
21 What fruit then had ye at that time from those things of which ye are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.
De au ae utane taꞌo ia: Hei hambu buna-bꞌoa maloleꞌ saa mia tatao-nonoꞌi mara naa? Nese to? Tao-tao te, buna-bꞌoaꞌ fo hei hambuꞌ naa, tao mamaet fee nggi.
22 But now having been delivered from the slavery of sin, and having become the bondservants of God, ye have holiness as the fruit, and everlasting life as the end. (aiōnios g166)
Te ia naa, Lamatuaꞌ mboꞌi hendi nggi ena mia malangga mbaraaꞌ a, de ama sudꞌi boe tao salaꞌ fai. Ia naa hei musi dadꞌi Lamatuaꞌ atahori mana tao ues na. Te mateꞌen, dei fo hei dadꞌi meumareꞌ fee neu E, ma bisa misodꞌa ndoo-tetuꞌ nda namaꞌetu sa. (aiōnios g166)
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the free gift of God is everlasting life, through Christ Jesus our Lord. (aiōnios g166)
Huu leleꞌ hita tao salaꞌ, eni hahambun, naeni hita saranggaa mia Lamatuaꞌ losa doo nduꞌu-dꞌoon neu. Mate nggita ena. Ma hita hambu masodꞌaꞌ naa, Mete ma ata tungga dadꞌi teu hita Lamatuan Yesus Kristus atahorin. (aiōnios g166)
