Luke 22
1 Now the feast of unleavened bread, which is called the passover, was drawing near;

2 and the chief priests and the scribes were seeking how they might kill him; for they feared the people.
Glavari svećenički i pismoznanci tražili su kako da Isusa smaknu jer se bojahu naroda.
3 And Satan entered into Judas called Iscariot, who was of the number of the twelve.
A Sotona uđe u Judu zvanog Iškariotski koji bijaše iz broja dvanaestorice.
4 And he went away, and consulted with the chief priests and captains, how he might deliver him up to them.
On ode i ugovori s glavarima svećeničkim i zapovjednicima kako da im ga preda.
5 And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.
Oni se povesele i ugovore da će mu dati novca.
6 And he agreed with them, and sought a good opportunity to deliver him up to them in the absence of the multitude.
On pristade. Otada je tražio priliku da im ga preda mimo naroda.
7 Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed;
Kada dođe Dan beskvasnih kruhova, u koji je trebalo žrtvovati pashu,
8 and he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and make ready for us the passover, that we may eat it.
posla Isus Petra i Ivana i reče: “Hajdete, pripravite nam da blagujemo pashu.”
9 And they said to him, Where wilt thou that we make it ready?
Rekoše mu: “Gdje hoćeš da pripravimo?”
10 And he said to them, Lo! when ye have entered the city, there will meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he goeth in;
On im reče: “Evo, čim uđete u grad, namjerit ćete se na čovjeka koji nosi krčag vode. Pođite za njim u kuću u koju uniđe
11 and ye shall say to the master of the house, The Teacher saith to thee, Where is the guest-chamber, where I may eat the passover with my disciples?
i recite domaćinu te kuće: 'Učitelj veli: Gdje je svratište u kojem bih blagovao pashu sa svojim učenicima?'
12 And he will show you a large upper room furnished; there make ready.
I on će vam pokazati na katu veliko blagovalište prostrto: ondje pripravite.”
13 And they went and found as he had said to them; and they made ready the passover.
Oni odu, nađu kako im je rekao i priprave pashu.
14 And when the hour had come, he placed himself at table, and the apostles with him.
Kada dođe čas, sjede Isus za stol i apostoli s njim.
15 And he said to them, Earnestly have I desired to eat this passover with you, before I suffer.
I reče im: “Svom sam dušom čeznuo ovu pashu blagovati s vama prije svoje muke.
16 For I say to you, that I shall eat it no more, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.
Jer kažem vam, neću je više blagovati dok se ona ne završi u kraljevstvu Božjem.”
17 And he took a cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves.
I uze čašu, zahvali i reče: “Uzmite je i razdijelite među sobom.
18 For I say to you, that I shall not drink henceforth of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall have come.
Jer kažem vam, ne, neću više piti od roda trsova dok kraljevstvo Božje ne dođe.”
19 And he took a loaf, and gave thanks, and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, This is my body, which is given for you; this do in remembrance of me.
I uze kruh, zahvali, razlomi i dade im govoreći: “Ovo je tijelo moje koje se za vas predaje. Ovo činite meni na spomen.”
20 And in like manner he took the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is about to be shed for you.
Tako i čašu, pošto večeraše, govoreći: “Ova čaša novi je Savez u mojoj krvi koja se za vas prolijeva.”
21 But lo! the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table.
“A evo, ruka mog izdajice sa mnom je na stolu.
22 For the Son of man indeed goeth away, as it hath been determined; but woe to that man by whom he is betrayed.
Sin Čovječji, istina, ide kako je određeno, ali jao čovjeku onomu koji ga predaje.”
23 And they began to inquire among themselves, which of them it was that was about to do this.
I oni se počeše ispitivati tko bi od njih mogao takvo što učiniti.
24 And there arose also a contention among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest.
Uto nasta među njima prepirka tko bi od njih bio najveći.
25 And he said to them, The kings of the nations rule as lords over them, and they who exercise authority over them are called benefactors.
A on im reče: “Kraljevi gospoduju svojim narodima i vlastodršci nazivaju sebe dobrotvorima.
26 But it is not to be so with you; but let the greatest among you be as the youngest; and he that is chief, as he that serveth.
Vi nemojte tako! Naprotiv, najveći među vama neka bude kao najmlađi; i predstojnik kao poslužitelj.
27 For which is greater? he who reclineth at the table, or he who serveth? Is not he that reclineth at the table? But I am in the midst of you as he who serveth.
Ta tko je veći? Koji je za stolom ili koji poslužuje? Zar ne onaj koji je za stolom? A ja sam posred vas kao onaj koji poslužuje.”
28 Ye however are they who have continued steadfastly with me in my trials.
“Da, vi ste sa mnom ustrajali u mojim kušnjama.
29 And I appoint to you a kingdom, as my Father appointed to me;
Ja vam stoga u baštinu predajem kraljevstvo što ga je meni predao moj Otac:
30 that ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom; and ye shall sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
da jedete i pijete za mojim stolom u kraljevstvu mojemu i sjedite na prijestoljima sudeći dvanaest plemena Izraelovih.”
31 Simon, Simon, lo! Satan hath asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat.
“Šimune, Šimune, evo Sotona zaiska da vas prorešeta kao pšenicu.
32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not. And do thou, when thou hast returned to me, strengthen thy brethren.
Ali ja sam molio za tebe da ne malakše tvoja vjera. Pa kad k sebi dođeš, učvrsti svoju braću.”
33 And he said to him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee both to prison and to death.
Petar mu reče: “Gospodine, s tobom sam spreman i u tamnicu i u smrt.”
34 And he said, I tell thee, Peter, a cock will not crow this day, till thou hast thrice denied that thou knowest me.
A Isus će mu: “Kažem ti, Petre, neće se danas oglasiti pijetao dok triput ne zatajiš da me poznaš.”
35 And he said to them, When I sent you without purse, or bag, or sandals, were ye in need of anything? And they said, Of nothing. Then he said to them,
I reče: “Kad sam vas poslao bez kese i bez torbe i bez sandala, je li vam što nedostajalo?” Oni odgovore: “Ništa.”
36 But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise a bag; and he that hath not, let him sell his garment, and buy a sword.
Nato će im: “No sada tko ima kesu, neka je uzme! Isto tako i torbu! A koji nema, neka proda svoju haljinu i neka kupi sebi mač
37 For I say to you, that this which is written must be accomplished in me: “And he was reckoned among transgressors.” For that which concerneth me also hath an end.
jer kažem vam, ono što je napisano treba se ispuniti na meni: Među zlikovce bi ubrojen. Uistinu, sve što se odnosi na mene ispunja se.”
38 And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said to him, It is enough!
Oni mu rekoše: “Gospodine, evo ovdje dva mača!” Reče im: “Dosta je!”
39 And going out, he went, as he was wont, to the Mount of Olives; and the disciples followed him.
Tada iziđe te se po običaju zaputi na Maslinsku goru. Za njim pođoše i njegovi učenici.
40 And when he was at the place, he said to them, Pray that ye may not enter into temptation.
Kada dođe onamo, reče im: “Molite da ne padnete u napast!”
41 And he withdrew from them about a stone's throw; and kneeling down he prayed,
I otrgnu se od njih koliko bi se kamenom dobacilo, pade na koljena pa se molio:
42 saying, Father, if thou art willing to remove this cup from me—yet not my will, but thine be done!
“Oče! Ako hoćeš, otkloni ovu čašu od mene. Ali ne moja volja, nego tvoja neka bude!”
43 And there appeared to him an angel from heaven, strengthening him.
A ukaza mu se anđeo s neba koji ga ohrabri. A kad je bio u smrtnoj muci, usrdnije se molio.
44 And being in an agony, he prayed more earnestly. And his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling to the ground.
I bijaše znoj njegov kao kaplje krvi koje su padale na zemlju.
45 And rising up from prayer, he came to the disciples, and found them sleeping for sorrow,
Usta od molitve, dođe učenicima i nađe ih snene od žalosti
46 and said to them, Why sleep ye? Rise, and pray that ye may not enter into temptation.
pa im reče: “Što spavate? Ustanite! Molite da ne padnete u napast!”
47 While he was yet speaking, lo! a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, was at the head of them; and he drew near to Jesus to kiss him.
Dok je on još govorio, eto svjetine, a pred njom jedan od dvanaestorice, zvani Juda. On se približi Isusu da ga poljubi.
48 But Jesus said to him, Judas, dost thou betray the Son of man with a kiss?
Isus mu reče: “Juda, poljupcem Sina Čovječjeg predaješ?”
49 And they who were about him, seeing what would follow, said, Lord, shall we smite with the sword?
A oni oko njega, vidjevši što se zbiva, rekoše: “Gospodine, da udarimo mačem?”
50 And one of them smote the servant of the high-priest, and cut off his right ear.
I jedan od njih udari slugu velikoga svećenika i odsiječe mu desno uho.
51 But Jesus answering said, Permit thus far; and touched his ear, and healed him.
Isus odgovori: “Pustite! Dosta!” Onda se dotače uha i zacijeli ga.
52 Then Jesus said to the chief priests and captains of the temple and elders who had come to him, Ye have come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs;
Nato Isus reče onima koji se digoše na nj, glavarima svećeničkim, zapovjednicima hramskim i starješinama: “Kao na razbojnika iziđoste s mačevima i toljagama!
53 when I was daily with you in the temple, ye did not put forth your hands against me; but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.
Danomice bijah s vama u Hramu i ne digoste ruke na me. No ovo je vaš čas i vlast Tmina.”
54 And they seized him, and led him away, and brought him into the house of the high-priest. And Peter followed afar off.
Uhvatiše ga dakle, odvedoše i uvedoše u dom velikoga svećenika. Petar je išao za njim izdaleka.
55 And when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the court, and had sat down together, Peter sat down among them.
A posred dvorišta naložiše vatru i posjedaše uokolo. Među njih sjedne Petar.
56 But a certain maid-servant saw him sitting at the fire, and steadily looking at him said, This man also was with him.
Ugleda ga neka sluškinja gdje sjedi kraj vatre, oštro ga pogleda i reče: “I ovaj bijaše s njim!”
57 And he denied him, saying, Woman, I do not know him.
A on zanijeka: “Ne znam ga, ženo!”
58 And after a little while another saw him, and said, Thou also art one of them. And Peter said, Man, I am not.
Malo zatim opazi ga netko drugi i reče: “I ti si od njih!” A Petar reče: “Čovječe, nisam!”
59 And in about one hour's time, another confidently affirmed, saying, In truth this man also was with him; for he is a Galilaean.
I nakon otprilike jedne ure drugi neki navaljivaše: “Doista, i ovaj bijaše s njim! Ta Galilejac je!”
60 And Peter said, Man, I know not what thou sayest. And immediately, while he was yet speaking, a cock crew.
A Petar će: “Čovječe, ne znam što govoriš!” I umah, dok je on još govorio, oglasi se pijetao.
61 And the Lord turned and looked upon Peter; and Peter remembered the word of the Lord, that he had said to him, Before a cock crows this day, thou wilt thrice deny me.
Gospodin se obazre i upre pogled u Petra, a Petar se spomenu riječi Gospodinove, kako mu ono reče: “Prije nego se danas pijetao oglasi, zatajit ćeš me tri puta.”
62 And he went out, and wept bitterly.
I iziđe te gorko zaplaka.
63 And the men that held Jesus mocked him, and beat him;
A ljudi koji su Isusa čuvali udarajući ga poigravali se njime
64 and having blindfolded him, they asked him, saying, Prophesy, who is it that struck thee?
i zastirući mu lice, zapitkivali ga: “Proreci tko te udario!”
65 And many other things did they scoffingly say against him.
I mnogim se drugim pogrdama nabacivali na nj.
66 And when it was day, the elders of the people, both chief priests and scribes, came together, and brought him before their council, saying,
A kad se razdanilo, sabra se starješinstvo narodno, glavari svećenički i pismoznanci te ga dovedoše pred svoje Vijeće
67 If thou art the Christ, tell us. And he said to them, If I tell you, ye will not believe;
i rekoše: “Ako si ti Krist, reci nam!” A on će im: “Ako vam reknem, nećete vjerovati;
68 and if I ask, ye will not answer.
ako vas zapitam, nećete odgovoriti.
69 But from this time the Son of man will sit on the right hand of the power of God.
No od sada će Sin Čovječji sjedjeti zdesna Sile Božje.”
70 Then they all said, Art thou then the Son of God? And he said to them, Ye say what is true; for I am.
Nato svi rekoše: “Ti si, dakle, Sin Božji!” On im reče: “Vi velite! Ja jesam!”
71 And they said, What further need have we of testimony? For we have ourselves heard from his own mouth.
Nato će oni: “Što nam još svjedočanstvo treba? Ta sami smo čuli iz njegovih usta!”
