< Hebrews 3 >

1 Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the apostle and high-priest of our profession, Jesus;
Dadꞌi taꞌo ia, toronoo nggare! Lamatualain pili nala hei ena, ma cap nggi atahori rala meumareꞌ, fo dei fo misodꞌa miꞌibꞌue mo E sia sorga. Huu naa, hei musi duꞌa lutuꞌ-leloꞌ soꞌal Yesus naa.
2 who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also was Moses in all his house.
Leleꞌ Lamatualain denu Yesus, Yesus tao tungga basa Lamatuaꞌ hihii-nanaun. No taꞌo naa, Ana dadꞌi onaꞌ baꞌi Musa. Huu baꞌi Musa o tao tungga Lamatualain hihii-nanaun, leleꞌ ana mete-seꞌu hita bei-baꞌi nara mia fai dalahuluꞌ a.
3 For he hath been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as greater than the house is he who built it.
Mae onaꞌ naa o, Yesus manaseliꞌ lenaꞌ baꞌi Musa. Huu Yesus naa, onaꞌ malangga ume-loo. Ma matetun, malangga ume-loo a manaseliꞌ lenaꞌ atahori dedꞌenuꞌ mana sia ume naa rala.
4 For every house is builded by some one; but he who built all things is God.
Atahori esa-esaꞌ nafefela ume-loon. Te Lamatualain nafefela basa-bꞌasaꞌ e.
5 And Moses indeed was faithful in all his house as a servant, that he might testify of those things which were to be spoken;
Dadꞌi baꞌi Musa tao tungga Lamatualain hihii-nanaun, leleꞌ ana dadꞌi dedꞌenuꞌ sia Lamatuaꞌ ume isin. Huu leleꞌ naa, Ana nafadꞌe memaꞌ saa fo Lamatualain nae tao.
6 but Christ as a son over his house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and joyousness of our hope.
Huu Eni ia, Kristus, Lamatualain Anan fo Ana pili nala memaꞌ mia dalahulun, fo nae haitua raefafoꞌ nema. Kristus mete-seꞌu nahine tebꞌe-tebꞌeꞌ Aman ume isi nara. Dadꞌi mete ma hita toꞌu tahereꞌ nemehere tara, ma tamahena takandoo neu Kristus, hita o bisa dadꞌi Eni ume isin boe.
7 Wherefore, as the Holy Spirit saith: “To-day, if ye hear his voice,
Huu naa, hei musi pasa ndiki mara fo rena malolole saa fo Lamatualain Dula-dale Meumaren olaꞌ ena nae, “Faiꞌ ia, mete ma hei rena Lamatualain oꞌolan,
8 harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of the temptation in the wilderness,
Ama afiꞌ langga fatu, onaꞌ atahori naa ra, mana laoꞌ reu-rema losa too haa nulu sia lenu loaꞌ.
9 where your fathers tempted me by proving me, and saw my works forty years.
Duꞌa neuꞌ ena! Too haa nulu Au tao manadadꞌiꞌ mataꞌ-mataꞌ sia mata nara! Te ara akaꞌ sobꞌa Au rakandooꞌ a. Naa de Au o umunasa se ae, ‘Hei ia ra, talalu! Huu hei misidꞌea hela Au dꞌala ngga, de tunggaꞌ a dꞌala mana sala mara!’
10 Wherefore I was offended with that generation, and said, They always err in their heart, but they knew not my ways;
11 so I swore in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.”
12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
Dadꞌi toronoo nggara e! Besa-bꞌesa fo afiꞌ losa hambu mia hei mana tao deꞌulakaꞌ, losa nda namahere sa ena, boe ma misidꞌea hela Lamatualain mana nasodꞌa nakandooꞌ a.
13 But exhort one another daily, as long as it is called To-day, that none of you may be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
Malole lenaꞌ, tungga fai hei esa tao manggatee esa rala nara. Esa afiꞌ nahati esa fai! Huu hei nene peko-lelekoꞌ noꞌ a mudꞌaꞌ fo tao salaꞌ, losa hei dadꞌi langga fatu, ma nda taoafiꞌ neu Lamatualain sa.
14 For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast our first confidence firm to the end.
Hita o bisa eiꞌ esa to Yesus Kristus, sadꞌi hita tamahena takandoo neu E, onaꞌ leleꞌ hita feꞌe na tamahere neu E.
15 When it is said, “To-day, if ye hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation,”
Te Lamatuaꞌ Dula-dale Meumaren o olaꞌ taꞌo naa nae, “Faiꞌ ia, mete ma ama rena Lamatualain oꞌolan, ama afiꞌ langga fatu, onaꞌ atahori naa ra, mana laoꞌ reu-rema losa too haa nulu sia lenu loaꞌ, huu ara labꞌan Musa.”
16 who then, when they had heard, provoked? Was it not all who came out of Egypt by means of Moses?
De ia na au ae utane taꞌo ia: atahori mana rena baꞌi Musa, boe ma rasadꞌea hela e, naa ra seka? Seka fai, sira hita bei-baꞌi nara fo Musa mesaꞌ ne no se lao hela rae Masir. Ara rita manadꞌadꞌiꞌ mataꞌ-mataꞌ te feꞌe langga fatu.
17 And with whom was he offended forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose carcasses fell in the wilderness?
Boe ma, atahori mana tao Lamatualain namanasa losa too haa nulu na, seka?
18 And to whom did he swear that they should not enter into his rest, except to those who were disobedient?
Boe ma, atahori mana hambu sumba-ndoon mia Lamatualain losa nda bole masoꞌ risiꞌ rae naa sa, fo hahae ao nara ro E, naa ra seka? Se fai, mete ma nda hita bei-baꞌi tara sa. Huu ara nda nau rena Lamatualain sa.”
19 So then we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
Dadꞌi ndaa ena, to! Hita bei-baꞌi nara nda losa rae naa sa, fo hahae ao nara ro Lamatualain, huu ara nda ramahere neu E sa.
