< Acts 6 >

1 But in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplying, there arose a murmuring of the Hellenists against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration.
Leleꞌ naa, Lamatuaꞌ Yesus atahori Nara boe ramaheta. Te ara olaꞌ dedꞌeat rua. Ruma, atahori Yahudi mana olaꞌ dedꞌea Aram.
2 And the twelve called the multitude of the disciples to them, and said, It doth not seem to us proper, that we should leave the word of God, and provide for tables.
Naa de, dedenu ka sanahulu ruaꞌ ra, roꞌe raꞌabꞌue basa Lamatuaꞌ Yesus atahori Nara. De ara olaꞌ rae, “Toronoo nggare! Mete ma hai hahae fo tao mataꞌ neuꞌ a hei nanaa-nininu mara, bisa, te naa, nda nandaa sa! Huu hai musi minori Lamatualain Dedꞌea-oꞌola Na nakandooꞌ a.
3 Therefore, brethren, look out among you seven men of good repute, full of the Spirit and of wisdom, whom we will appoint over this business;
Dadꞌi malole lenaꞌ, hei tengga atahori hitu mia hei. Sangga atahori hadꞌa maloleꞌ, mana rahine rendi ao nara, ma rahine dalaꞌ naeꞌ, ma Lamatualain Dula-dale Na ator masodꞌa na. Mete ma hei tengga mala atahori onaꞌ naa ena, dei fo hai soꞌu se fo tao mataꞌ neu nanaa-nininuꞌ ra.
4 but we will give ourselves closely to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.
Naa fo hai bisa hule-oꞌe no minori Lamatualain Dedꞌea-oꞌola Na.”
5 And what was said pleased the whole multitude. And they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolaus a proselyte of Antioch,
Ara raꞌaheiꞌ Petrus se oꞌola nara. De ara tengga atahori hitu. Esa nara na Stefanus. Ana namahere tebꞌe-tebꞌeꞌ neu Lamatuaꞌ Yesus, ma Lamatualain Dula-dale Meumare Na pake e. Ma feaꞌ ra: Filipus Prokorus Nikanor Timon Parmenas ma Nikolas mia kota Antiokia. Ana nda atahori Yahudi sa, te masoꞌ agama Yahudi ena.
6 whom they set before the apostles; and when they had prayed, they laid their hands on them.
Basa de, ara ro atahori ka hituꞌ ia ra, risiꞌ Lamatuaꞌ dedenu Nara. Ara ndae lima nara neu se, ma hule-oꞌe fo soꞌu se dadꞌi atahori mana tao-mataꞌ neu nanaa-nininuꞌ. Naa fo, atahori hatataꞌ ra hambu ona esaꞌ.
7 And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples in Jerusalem was greatly enlarged; and a great multitude of the priests were obedient to the faith.
Dadꞌi Lamatualain Dedꞌea-oꞌola Na nenedꞌui-bꞌengga sia bee-bꞌee. Atahori mana tungga Yesus Dala Masodꞌa Na, boe ramaheta rakandooꞌ a sia Yerusalem. Malangga agama Yahudi hetar ra o lali risiꞌ Yesus atahori nara.
8 And Stephen, full of grace and power, wrought great wonders and signs among the people.
Leleꞌ naa Lamatualain natudꞌu rala malolen neu Stefanus. Ana o fee koasa fo Stefanus tao manadadꞌiꞌ no manaseliꞌ fo atahori hetar rita no mata nara.
9 But some of those who belonged to the so-called synagogue of the Freedmen, and of the Cyrenaeans and Alexandrians, and of those from Cilicia and Asia, arose and disputed with Stephen;
Sia naa, atahori Yahudi hira rema mia mamana dodꞌooꞌ. Naeni kota Kirene, kota Aleksandria, nusa Kalikia, no nusa Asia. Dalahulu na ara dadꞌi atahori feaꞌ ra ate na, te dodꞌoo ma malangga nara mboꞌi se. Basa ma ara raꞌabꞌue sia Yerusalem. Ara hiiꞌ a masoꞌ risiꞌ ume hule-oꞌeꞌ esa nara na, ‘Ate Nenemboꞌit’. Lao esa boe, ara rena Stefanus oꞌola na, te nda hii sa, de rareresi ro e.
10 and they were not able to resist the wisdom and the Spirit with which he spoke.
Te Stefanus, atahori mahine na seli, huu ana olaꞌ nendiꞌ koasa mia Lamatualain Dula-dale Meumare Na. Naa de, ara nda rasenggiꞌ e sa.
11 Then they suborned men, who said, We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses, and God.
Dadꞌi ara sangga dala deꞌulakaꞌ. Ara bae atahori hira fo reu olaꞌ lelekoꞌ rae, “Hai rena atahori ia olaꞌ naꞌatutudꞌaꞌ Musa no Lamatualain! Memaꞌ ana naꞌamuti taꞌo naa!”
12 And they stirred up the people, and the elders, and the scribes, and came upon him, and seized him, and brought him to the council,
Ara dunggu-mbau atahori ra, losa lasi-lasiꞌ adat Yahudi ma meser agama ra rena boe. Ara ramanasa, de reu humu Stefanus, ro e nisiꞌ mamana nggero dedꞌea agama.
13 and set up false witnesses, who said, This man ceaseth not to speak words against the holy place, and the Law.
Sakasi lelekoꞌ nara olaꞌ leli soꞌal Stefanus rae, “Atahori ia akaꞌ olaꞌ deꞌulakaꞌ soꞌal Ume Hule-Oꞌe Huuꞌ a. Ana o hii olaꞌ nalutu Lamatualain parenda na fo baꞌi Musa naꞌondaꞌ fee hitaꞌ a.
14 For we have heard him say, This Jesus the Nazarene will destroy this place, and change the customs which Moses delivered to us.
Hai o rena e olaꞌ nae Yesus, atahori Nasaret naa, nae ndefaꞌ hendi Ume Hule-Oꞌe Huuꞌ a. Ma Ana o nae nggari hendi hita hohoro-lalaneꞌ adat tara fo baꞌi Musa naondaꞌ fee hitaꞌ a!”
15 And all that sat in the council, looking steadily upon him, saw his face like the face of an angel.
Boe ma, basa atahori mana endoꞌ raꞌabꞌue sia mamana nggero dedꞌea agama, mete ramemeu Stefanus, huu mata na onaꞌ Lamatualain ate Na mia sorga.
