< 1 John 4 >

1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone forth into the world.
Ana susue ngga re! Mete ma atahori esa nae eni nendi Lamatualain hehelu-fufulin, na, afiꞌ simbo leliꞌ a. Te hei musi paresaꞌ matalolole fo bubꞌuluꞌ oꞌolan naa, tebꞌe-tebꞌeꞌ mia Lamatuaꞌ nema do hokoꞌ. Te aleꞌ ia mana peko-lelekoꞌ hetar lao ndule raefafoꞌ ia ena. Ara lelekoꞌ atahori rae, sira, Lamatualain mana ola-ola nara.
2 Hereby ye know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledgeth that Jesus Christ hath come in the flesh, is of God.
Hita bisa bubꞌuluꞌ hehelu-fufuliꞌ bee tebꞌe-tebꞌeꞌ mia Lamatuaꞌ Dula-dalen, taꞌo ia: Lamatualain helu memaꞌ mia lele uluꞌ a, nae haitua Anan raefafoꞌ nema. Mete ma atahori mana nendi hehelu-fufuliꞌ naa nataa nae, Yesus Kristus naa, tebꞌe-tebꞌeꞌ Lamatualain Anan fo mana dadꞌi atahori onaꞌ hita, na, hehelu-fufulin memaꞌ laoꞌ mia Lamatuaꞌ.
3 And every spirit that doth not acknowledge Jesus, is not of God; and this is that spirit of Antichrist, of which ye have heard that it is to come, and even now it is already in the world.
Te naa nema mia mana labꞌan neu Kristus. Hei rena mita oi, dei fo mana labꞌan Kristus naa, sou nema. Tao-tao te, mana onaꞌ naa sia raefafoꞌ ia ena.
4 Ye are of God, my children, and have overcome them; because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
Ana susue ngga re! Naa de ama misenggiꞌ mana labꞌan neu Lamatuaꞌ. Huu Dula-dalen mana sia rala mara naa, manaseliꞌ lenaꞌ koasa mana sia raefafoꞌ ia.
5 They are of the world; therefore they speak of the world, and the world heareth them.
6 We are of God; he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth us not. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
Te hita taꞌoka sia Lamatuaꞌ. Naa de atahori mana nahine Lamatuaꞌ nau rena nggita.
7 Beloved, let us love one another; for love is from God, and every one that loveth hath been born of God, and knoweth God;
Ana susue ngga re! Hita musi sue-lai esa no esa, huu susueꞌ a naꞌoka sia Lamatualain. Basa atahori mana sue-laiꞌ, ara raꞌoka sia Lamatualain, ma rahine E no malole.
8 he that loveth not hath not known God; for God is love.
Huu Lamatuaꞌ naa, naeni susueꞌ a.
9 In this was manifested the love of God in regard to us, that God hath sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we may live through him.
Lamatuaꞌ natudꞌu susuen neu nggita taꞌo ia: Ana haitua Ana Mone Isen raefafoꞌ ia nema, fo soi dalaꞌ fee nggita. No taꞌo naa, ata bisa tasodꞌa takandoo to Lamatuaꞌ.
10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be a propitiation for our sins.
Mete ma nau mita susue matetuꞌ a, na, afiꞌ mete neu hita susuen neu Lamatuaꞌ. Te mete neu Lamatuaꞌ susuen neu nggita, huu Ana haitua Anan nema fo mate dadꞌi neu tutunu-hohotuꞌ nggati hita ena. No taꞌo naa, Ana fee ambon neu sala-kilu tara ena, fo ata maloleꞌ baliꞌ to E.
11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
Ana susue ngga re! Huu Lamatualain sue-lai naseliꞌ nggita taꞌo naa, na, hita o musi sue-lai esa no esa boe.
12 No one hath ever seen God. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
Nda hambu atahori esa boe mete nita Lamatuaꞌ relo-relo sa.
13 Hereby we know that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.
Lamatualain fee Dula-dalen sia rala tara ena. Naa de ata bubꞌuluꞌ tae, tasodꞌa ralaꞌ esa to Lamatuaꞌ ena, ma Ana o ralaꞌ esa no nggita boe.
14 And we have seen and bear witness, that the Father hath sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.
Au o nonoo nggara mita Lamatualain Anan no hai mata aom ena. Basa de hai mifadꞌe neu basa atahori mae, Amaꞌ Lamatualain haitua Anan nema ena, fo fee masoi-masodꞌaꞌ neu atahori sia raefafoꞌ ia mia sala-kilu nara ena
15 Whoever acknowledgeth that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
Basa atahori mana rataa rae, Yesus naa, Lamatualain Anan, nasodꞌa malole baliꞌ no Lamatualain, ma Lamatuaꞌ o malolole no e boe.
16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath in regard to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
Hita bubꞌuluꞌ ena tae, Lamatuaꞌ sue naseliꞌ nggita. Naa de tamahere tae, dei fo Ana sue nakandoo nggita. Lamatuaꞌ sue naseliꞌ atahori. De atahori mana nasodꞌa ma sue-lai, nasodꞌa ralaꞌ esa no Lamatualain, ma Lamatuaꞌ o ralaꞌ esa no e boe.
17 Herein hath love been perfected with us, that we have confidence in the day of judgment; because as he is, so are we in this world.
Basa fo, neu fai mateteꞌen, Lamatuaꞌ nae paresaꞌ basa atahori masodꞌa nara, na, hita nda tamatau tambariiꞌ sia Lamatuaꞌ matan sa, huu hita dadꞌi onaꞌ Kristus leleꞌ Ana nasodꞌa sia raefafoꞌ ia.
18 There is no fear in love, but perfect love casteth out fear; because fear hath torment; and he that feareth is not made perfect in love.
Ana onaꞌ anadꞌikiꞌ nda feꞌe nahine sue atahori no matetuꞌ sa.
19 We love, because he first loved us.
Hita sue-lai, huu Lamatualain sue-lai naꞌahuluꞌ hita ena.
20 If any one saith, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar; for he that loveth not his brother, whom he hath seen, how can he love God, whom he hath not seen?
Hokoꞌ, to?
21 And this commandment we have from him, that he who loveth God love also his brother.
Huu Lamatualain naꞌondaꞌ parendaꞌ ena nae, hita afiꞌ sue-laiꞌ a Eni, te musi sue-lai toronoo atahori mamahereꞌ ra boe.
