< 2 Peter 3 >

1 This is now, beloved, the second letter that I have written to you; and in both of them I stir up your sincere mind by reminding you;
Ka püi he aw, ahin hin nami veia ka yuk lawa kca anghngihnaka kyaki. Ka yuk lawa kca ani nghngih üng, ahin he ning jah süm besak lü, nami mlung k’uma cungngaihnak ngcim a ve law vai ka hlüeia phäh ka ning jah mthümhletnaka kyaki.
2 that you should remember the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and the commandment of the Lord and Savior through your apostles:
Ahlana sahma ngcime naw ami pyena ngthue, nami ngsäe üngkhyüh ning jah peta Küikyan Bawi ja Bawipaa a ngthupete cen, nami süm be vai hlüei veng.
3 knowing this first, that in the last days scoffers will come, mocking and walking after their own lusts,
Akcüka nami ksing vai ta, akpäihnak khawmhnüpe üng ta ami mtisa hlüa awmihkie po law acun he. Amimi naw ning jah yaihei u lü,
4 and saying, "Where is the promise of his coming? For, from the day that the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation."
“Ka law be khai ti lü khyütam am jah pe sü, am law be mä? Hawia ni a ve? Kami pupae pi thi pängki he, cunüngpi khawmdeknu mhnünceng üngkhyüh ami vea mäiha, asihna hin veei ham ve u” tia ngthähnak am ning jah nghngeka na law acun he.
5 For this they willfully forget, that there were heavens from of old, and an earth formed out of water and amid water, by the word of God;
Ahlana Pamhnam naw ngthu pe se, khawmdek ja khankhaw ngtüi lawki tia mawng cun asihlinga hnusung law khaie. Khawmdek cun tui üngkhyüha tui am sehbei lü,
6 by which means the world that then was, being deluged with water, was destroyed.
khawmdek kphyüm cun pi tui üngka naw lawkia mlikpitui am mthiha kyaki.
7 But the heavens that now are, and the earth, by the same word have been stored up for fire, being reserved against the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly people.
Cunüngpi, atuh vekia khawmdek ja khankhawe ta ngthumkhyahnak khawmhnüp veia ve khaia Pamhnam naw pyenki. Acunüng, khyümhnam kaa vekia khyange ngthu jah mkhyah lü a jah mkhih vaia kcün üng, khankhawe ja khawmdek pi a jah mkhih hnga vaia a jah tak ni.
8 But do not forget this one thing, beloved, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
Cunüngpi, ka püi he aw, Bawipaa phäh ta khawmhnüp mat ja kum thawng mat hin am hngalang, tängeiki xawi ti cun käh mhnih u bä.
9 The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Khyang hea ngaiha kba, Bawipa hin a khyütama khana cücawnki am ni. Acuna nghngün üng, “Khyang matca pi käh cimpye lü, khyang naküt a mkhyenak üngka naw nami ngjutcam be vai a hlüeia phäh” nami khana a mlung msaüki ni.
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief; in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will be dissolved with fervent heat, and the earth and the works on it will not be found.
Cunüngpi, Bawipa Khawmhnüp cun mpyukeia kba pha law khai. Acuna Khawmhnüp üng, khankhaw cun mpyüksea nghmüm lü khyükei khai. Khankhawa veki naküte cun meia däi lü cimpye päih khaie. Khawmdek ja a k’uma veki naküte pi khyükleih päih khaie.
11 Therefore since all these things will be destroyed like this, what kind of people ought you to be in holy living and godliness,
Anaküt cun ahikba cimpye päih khaie. Nangmi ta ia khyanga ja na kyak kawm? Khankhaw meia däi lü a cimpyenak, khankhawa veki naküt angling am atuia ami ngkhyawnaka Khawmhnüp, Pamhnama Khawmhnüp pha law khai tia äpei lü, acukba thawnhlawk law khaia khana ktha na lü, na xünsak ngcingcaih lü Pamhnam üng na cuapei vai hin nglawi bawki ni.
12 looking for and earnestly desiring the coming of the day of God, which will cause the burning heavens to be dissolved, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?
13 But, according to his promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.
Cunüngpi, keimi naw ta Pamhnama bekhüt: ngsungpyunnaka venak im, khankhaw kthai ja khawmdek kthai cun kami mtäteikie.
14 Therefore, beloved, seeing that you look for these things, be diligent to be found in peace, without blemish and blameless in his sight.
Acunakyase ka püi he aw, acuna Khawmhnüp nami mtätki ania mäiha Pamhnama hmuha ngcingcaih lü mkhyenak käh vekia, ani am nami ngkhawtng’ye vaia ktha na ua.
15 Regard the patience of our Lord as salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also, according to the wisdom given to him, wrote to you;
Khyang naküt küikyannak ami yah vaia kcünkdaw ning jah pe lü Bawipa naw a mlung a msaü cen käh mhnih ua. Pamhnam naw a peta pumngyam sumei lü kami püi Pawluh naw nami veia kca a yuk law üng ahina mawng ni a pyen.
16 as also in all of his letters, speaking in them of these things. In those, there are some things that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unsettled twist, as they also do to the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.
A yuka kcae naküt üng ahina mawng ni aktunga a yuk. A yuknak üng am ngjakkya vai amsah veki. Am ksingkia khyange ja khyang vawvae naw acune am cutei lü akcea cangcime pi ami hleihleia jah lumlatkie ni. Acun cun amimäta khana cimpyenak cun pha law khai.
17 You therefore, beloved, knowing these things beforehand, beware, lest being carried away with the error of the wicked, you fall from your own steadfastness.
Cunüngpi, nangmi ka püi he naw ta nami ksing päng u ni. Thum kaa awmki he khyangea hmanak cen käh läklam lü, üpawmnakia nami venak üngkhyüh käh nami kyukngtäng vaia mceiei ua.
18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and forever. (aiōn g165)
Mi Bawi ja mi Küikyan Bawi Jesuh Khritaw ksingkhyapnak ja bäkhäknak üng angläta dämduh u bä. Hlüngtainak cun ania veia atuh ja angläta ve se! Amen. (aiōn g165)
