Psalms 14

1 [For the Chief Musician. By David.] The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt. They do abominable works. There is none who does good.

बेवकू़फ़ ने अपने दिल में कहा है, कि कोई ख़ुदा नहीं। वह बिगड़ गए, उन्होंने नफ़रतअंगेज़ काम किए हैं; कोई नेकोकार नहीं।

2 The LORD looks down from heaven on the descendants of Adam, to see if there are any who are wise, who seek after God.

ख़ुदावन्द ने आसमान पर से बनी आदम पर निगाह की ताकि देखे कि कोई अक़्लमन्द, कोई ख़ुदा का तालिब है या नहीं।

3 They have all turned away. They have together become corrupt. There is no one who does good, no, not one.

वह सब के सब गुमराह हुए, वह एक साथ नापाक हो गए, कोई नेकोकार नहीं, एक भी नहीं।

4 Have all evildoers no knowledge, who eat up my people as they eat bread? They do not call on the LORD.

क्या उन सब बदकिरदारों को कुछ'इल्म नहीं, जो मेरे लोगों को ऐसे खा जाते हैं जैसे रोटी, और ख़ुदावन्द का नाम नहीं लेते?

5 There they are utterly terrified, for God is in the generation of the righteous.

वहाँ उन पर बड़ा ख़ौफ़ छा गया, क्यूँकि ख़ुदा सादिक़ नसल के साथ है।

6 You would frustrate the plans of the lowly, but the LORD is his refuge.

तुम ग़रीब की मश्वरत की हँसी उड़ाते हो; इसलिए के ख़ुदावन्द उसकी पनाह है।

7 Oh that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion. When the LORD restores the fortunes of his people, may Jacob rejoice, may Israel be glad.

काश कि इस्राईल की नजात सिय्यून में से होती! जब ख़ुदावन्द अपने लोगों को ग़ुलामी से लौटा लाएगा, तो या'क़ूब ख़ुश और इस्राईल शादमान होगा।
