< Psalms 14 >

1 [For the Chief Musician. By David.] The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt. They do abominable works. There is none who does good.
To the choirmaster of David he says a fool in heart his there not [is] a god they act corruptly they do abominably deed[s] there not [is one who] does good.
2 The LORD looks down from heaven on the descendants of Adam, to see if there are any who are wise, who seek after God.
Yahweh from heaven he looks down on [the] children of humankind to see ¿ [is] there [one who] acts prudently [one who] seeks God.
3 They have all turned away. They have together become corrupt. There is no one who does good, no, not one.
Everyone he turns aside all together they are corrupt there not [is one who] does good there not also [is] one.
4 Have all evildoers no knowledge, who eat up my people as they eat bread? They do not call on the LORD.
¿ Not do they know all [those who] do wickedness [those who] devour people my they eat bread Yahweh not they call on.
5 There they are utterly terrified, for God is in the generation of the righteous.
There - they fear a fear for God [is] with a generation righteous.
6 You would frustrate the plans of the lowly, but the LORD is his refuge.
[the] plan of [the] poor You will put to shame for Yahweh [is] refuge his.
7 Oh that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion. When the LORD restores the fortunes of his people, may Jacob rejoice, may Israel be glad.
Who? will he give [will be] from Zion [the] deliverance of Israel when turns back Yahweh [the] captivity of people his let him rejoice Jacob let him be glad Israel.
