< Luke 24 >

1 But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they came to the tomb, bringing the spices which they had prepared.
Mulugulu muno olusiku lwo kwamba olwo bhwoyo, nibhaja kumfwa, nibhaletaga ebhinu ebhilange bhinu bhaliga bhelabhile.
2 They found the stone rolled away from the tomb.
Nibhasanga libhuyi liilingisibhwe kula na imfwa.
3 They entered in, and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.
Nibhengila munda, Nawe bhatagusangilemo omubhili gwa Ratabhugenyi Yesu.
4 It happened, while they were greatly perplexed about this, look, two men stood by them in dazzling clothing.
Jabhonekene ati, omwanya bhachatangangae ingulu yelyo, awonawo, bhanu bhabhili nibhemelegulu agati yebhwe bhafwae ebhifwalo bhyo kulabhyangila.
5 Becoming terrified, they bowed their faces down to the earth. They said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead?
Abhagasi bhejuye obhubha bhenamishe obhusu bhwebhwe ansi, nibhabhabhwila abhagasi, “Kulwaki omumuyenja unu ali muhanga agati ya bhafuye?
6 He is not here, but is risen. Remember what he told you when he was still in Galilee,
Atalio anu, Tali asuluka! Mwichuke kutyo aikile nemwe anu aliga achali Galilaya,
7 saying that the Son of Man must be delivered up into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again?"
naikati Omwana wa Adamu nibhusibhusi asosibhwe mumabhoko gabhanu the bhibhibhi na abhabwe, no lusiku lwa kasatu, asuluke lindi.”
8 Then they remembered his words.
Abhagasi bhaliya nibhechuka emisango jae,
9 And returning from the tomb, they told all these things to the eleven and to all the rest.
nibhasubha okusoka kumfwa nibhabhabhwila emisango jona bhaliya ekumi na umwi na bhona.
10 Now they were Mary Magdalene and Joanna and Mary the mother of James and the other women with them who told these things to the apostles.
Mbe Maliya na Magedalena, Jowana, Maliya nyila wa Yakobho, na bhagasi abhandi nibhasosha amagambo ganu ku ntumwa.
11 These words seemed to them to be nonsense, and they did not believe them.
Nawe omusango gunu nigubhonekana kuti gwa mujao kuntumwa, bhatabhekilisishe abhagasi abho.
12 But Peter got up and ran to the tomb. Stooping and looking in, he saw the strips of linen by themselves, and he departed to his home, wondering what had happened.
Nolo kutyo Petelo nemuka, nabhilima okuja kumfwa, nasungulila nalola muchitulo, nalola lilimo lisanda lyenyele. Petelo nasubhayo nagenda ikewaye, nalugula niki chinu chabhonekana.
13 And look, two of them were going that very day to a village named Emmaus, which was about seven miles from Jerusalem.
Mbe lola, abhabhili amwi yebhwe bhaliga nibhagenda mumusi gumwi gunu gwatogwaga Emau, chinu chaliga chili maili sitini okusoka Yelusalemu.
14 They talked with each other about all of these things which had happened.
Nibhaloma abhene kwa bhene ingulu ya jinu jabhonekene.
15 It happened, while they talked and questioned together, that Jesus himself came near, and went with them.
Njibhonekana ati, omwanya gunu bhalomaga nibhebhushaga amabhusho, Yesu nabheililako nibhabha amwi nage.
16 But their eyes were kept from recognizing him.
Nawe ameso gebhwe galiga gafundikiye bhatamumenyele.
17 And he said to them, "What are these words that you are exchanging with each other as you walk?" And they stood still, looking sad.
Yesu nabhabhwila ati,”Niki chinu emwe abhabhili omulomelela akatungu kanu mulibhata?” Nibhemelegulu ao bhajubhile.
18 One of them, named Cleopas, answered him, "Are you the only stranger in Jerusalem who does not know the things which have happened there in these days?"
Oumwi webhwe, lisina lyae Cleopa, nasubya naikati, “Enibhusha awe wenyele anu Yelusalemu unu utakumenya emisango jinu jabhonekene munsiku jinu?”
19 He said to them, "What things?" They said to him, "The things concerning Jesus, the Nazarene, a man who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people;
20 and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him up to be condemned to death, and crucified him.
Nalwakutyo abhakulu bha bhagabhisi na bhatangasha bheswe kutyo bhamusosishe nibhamulamula okufwa no kumubhamba.
21 But we were hoping that it was he who would redeem Israel. Yes, and besides all this, it is now the third day since these things happened.
Nawe aliga nichiikanya ati omwene niwe kaja okubhata abhwelu Israeli. Yee, Kula nago gona, oli nilusiku lwa kasatu ganu gabhonekene.
22 Also, certain women of our company amazed us, having arrived early at the tomb;
Nawe ona, amwi ya bhagasi okusoka mubhumwi bhweswe bhachilugusishe, bhejile bhabhao kumfwa katondo mulugulu.
23 and when they did not find his body, they came saying that they had also seen a vision of angels, who said that he was alive.
Bwejile bhabhulwa omubhili gwae, nibhaja, nibhaikati, bhalolele ebhilugusho bhya malaika bhanu bhaikile ati ali muanga.
24 Some of us went to the tomb, and found it just like the women had said, but they did not see him."
Amwi ya bhalume bhanu chaliga chinabho nibhagenda kumfwa, nibhasanga lwa kutyo abhagasi bhaikile. Nawe bhatamubhwene omwene.”
25 Then he said to them, "O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken.
Yesu nabhabhwila ati,”Emwe muli bhamumu na muna emyoyo misito ejokwikilisha jona jinu abhalagi bhaikile!
26 Did not the Christ have to suffer these things and to enter into his glory?"
Enibhabhusha, aliga jitali bhusibhusi Yesu okunyansibhwa kwe misango ejo, no kwingila mwikusho lyae?”
27 Beginning from Moses and from all the prophets, he explained to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.
Okwambila okusoka ku Musa na bhalagi bhona, Yesu nabhabhutabhutila emisango jinu jimwiile omwene mumandiko gona.
28 They drew near to the village, where they were going, and he acted like he would go further.
Bhejile bhachifogelela echijiji echo, chinu bhajamoga, Yesu nekolati achagendelela imbele.
29 They urged him, saying, "Stay with us, for it is almost evening, and the day is almost over." He went in to stay with them.
Nawe nibhamusinyilisha, nibhaikati, “Inyanja amwi neswe, kulwokubha jabhee kegolo no lusiku lwawa”. Kulwejo Yesu nengila nenyanja nabho.
30 It happened, that when he had sat down at the table with them, he took the bread and gave thanks. Breaking it, he gave to them.
Jabhonekene ati, anu aliga enyanjile nabho nalya, agegele omukate, naguyana amabhando, nagubhutula, nabhayana.
31 Their eyes were opened, and they recognized him, and he vanished out of their sight.
Ameso gebhwe nigafumbulwa, nibhamusinyilisha, ao nao nabhulao imbele ya meso gebhwe.
32 And they said to one another, "Weren't our hearts burning within us, while he spoke to us along the way, and while he opened the Scriptures to us?"
Nibhaikati abhene kwa bhene, “Emyoyo jeswe sanga jitali munda yeswe, omwanya gunu sanga naloma neswe munjila, omwanya gunu achifumbulila amandiko?”
33 They rose up that very hour, returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and those who were with them,
Nibhemuka omwanya ogwoogwo, nibhasubha Yelusalemu. Nibhabhasila bhaliya ekumi naumwi bhekumanyishe amwi, nabhanu bhanu bhabhaga amwi nabho,
34 saying, "The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon."
Nibhaikati,”Ratabhugenyi asulukile chimali mali, namubhonekela Simoni.”
35 They related the things that happened along the way, and how he was recognized by them in the breaking of the bread.
Kulwejo nibhabhabhwila emisango jinu jabhonekene munjila, nakutyo Yesu abhabhonekee mukubheganya omukate.
36 As they said these things, Jesus himself stood among them, and said to them, "Peace be to you."
Omwanya gunu bhalomaga amagambo ago, Yesu omwene nemelegulu agati yebhwe, nabhabhwila ati, “Omulembe gubhe kwemwe.”
37 But they were terrified and filled with fear, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.
Nawe nibhobhaya nibhabhabhwila no bhubha, nibhetogela ati bhalola esabwa.
38 He said to them, "Why are you troubled? Why do doubts arise in your hearts?
Yesu nabhabhwila ati, Kulwaki omusulumbala? Kulwaki omwibhusha mumiyo jemwe?
39 See my hands and my feet, that it is truly me. Touch me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones, as you see that I have."
Mulole amabhoko gani na magulu gani, kutyo alyanye. Munkunyeko namulole. Kulwokubha lisabwa litana nyama na mawa, lwakutyo omundola ninabhyo.”
40 When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his feet.
Ejile amala okwaika kutyo, nabholesha amabhoko gae na magulu gae.
41 While they still did not believe for joy, and wondered, he said to them, "Do you have anything here to eat?"
Anu bhaliga bhachali nobhukondelewe bhunu bhwaliga bhulimo no kulema okwilisha, no kulugula, Yesu nabhabhwila ati, “Enibhusha, muna echinu chona chona echokulya?”
42 And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish.
Nibhamuyana echibhutu cha inswi inu yaliga yochewe.
43 And he took it and ate in front of them.
Yesu nachigega, nachilya imbele yebhwe.
44 And he said to them, "This is what I told you, while I was still with you, that all things which are written in the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms, concerning me must be fulfilled."
Nabhabhwila ati, “Anu aliga nchali amwi nemwe, nabhabhwila gona ganu gandikilwe mubhilagilo bhya Musa na mubhalagi na Zaburi nibhusibhusi gakumile”
45 Then he opened their minds, that they might understand the Scriptures.
Neya negula ombwenge bhwebhwe, koleleki bhamenye amandiko.
46 He said to them, "Thus it is written, for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day,
Nabhabhwila ati, “Ati jandikilwe, Kristo nibhusibhusi anyansibhwe, nokusuluka lindi okusoka mubhafuye olusiku lwa kasatu.
47 and that repentance leading to forgiveness of sins should be preached in his name to all the nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
No kuta no kuswalililwa ebhibhibhi nibhusibhusi ilashwe kwa lisina lyae kumaanga gona, okwambila okusokelela Yelusalemu.
48 You are witnesses of these things.
Emwe muli bhabhambasi bha magambo ganu.
49 And look, I send forth the promise of my Father on you. But wait in the city until you are clothed with power from on high."
Mulole, enibhasilila omulago gwa Rata want ingulu yemwe. Tali mulinde munu mumusi, okukinga anu mulifwafibhwa amanaga okusoka ingulu.
50 He led them out as far as Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them.
Neya Yesu nabhatangasha anja okukinga okulebhelela Bethania. Nemusha amabhoko gae ingulu, nabhayana amabhando.
51 It happened, while he blessed them, that he departed from them, and was carried up into heaven.
Nibhonekana ati, omwanya gunu aliga nabhayana amabhando, abhasigile nagegwa ingulu okuja mulwile.
52 They worshiped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy,
Kulwejo nibhamulamya, nibhasubha Yerusalemu na obhukondelewa bhunene.
53 and were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God.
Bhagendelee okubhamo muyekalu, nibhalamya Nyamuanga.
