2 John 1
1 The elder, to the chosen lady and her children, whom I love in truth; and not I only, but also all those who know the truth;
൧സത്യത്തെ അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നവർ എല്ലാവരും, ഞാൻ സത്യത്തിൽ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്ന തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ട വനിതയ്ക്കും അവളുടെ മക്കൾക്കും മൂപ്പനായ ഞാൻ എഴുതുന്നത്:
൨നമ്മിൽ വസിക്കുന്നതും നമ്മോടുകൂടെ എന്നേക്കും ഇരിക്കുന്നതുമായ സത്യംനിമിത്തം ഞാൻ മാത്രമല്ല, (aiōn g165)
3 Grace, mercy, and peace will be with us, from God the Father, and from Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.
൩പിതാവായ ദൈവത്തിങ്കൽനിന്നും പിതാവിന്റെ പുത്രനായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിങ്കൽ നിന്നും സ്നേഹത്തിലും സത്യത്തിലും കൃപയും കനിവും സമാധാനവും നമുക്ക് ഉണ്ടാകുമാറാകട്ടെ.
4 I rejoice greatly that I have found some of your children walking in truth, even as we have been commanded by the Father.
൪നമുക്ക് പിതാവിങ്കൽനിന്ന് കല്പന ലഭിച്ചതുപോലെ നിന്റെ മക്കളിൽ ചിലർ സത്യത്തിൽ നടക്കുന്നത് ഞാൻ കണ്ട് അത്യന്തം സന്തോഷിച്ചു.
5 And now I ask you, dear lady, not as though I wrote to you a new commandment, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.
൫ഇപ്പോഴോ വനിതയേ, നാം അന്യോന്യം സ്നേഹിക്കേണം എന്ന് ഞാൻ അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു; അത് പുതിയ കല്പനയായല്ല, എന്നാൽ ആദിമുതൽ നമുക്ക് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നതു തന്നെ ഞാൻ നിനക്ക് എഴുതുന്നു.
6 This is love, that we should walk according to his commandments. This is the commandment, even as you heard from the beginning, that you should walk in it.
൬നാം അവന്റെ കല്പനകളെ അനുസരിച്ചു നടക്കുന്നതു തന്നെ സ്നേഹം ആകുന്നു. നിങ്ങൾ ആദിമുതൽ കേട്ടതുപോലെ സ്നേഹത്തിൽ നടക്കണം എന്നുള്ളതാണ് ഈ കല്പന.
7 For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not confess that Jesus Christ came in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist.
൭യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിനെ ജഡത്തിൽ വന്നവൻ എന്ന് സ്വീകരിക്കാത്ത വഞ്ചകന്മാർ പലരും ലോകത്തിലേക്ക് പുറപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ. വഞ്ചകനും എതിർക്രിസ്തുവും ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ളവൻ ആകുന്നു.
8 Watch yourselves, that you do not lose the things which we have accomplished, but that you receive a full reward.
൮ഞങ്ങളുടെ പ്രയത്നഫലം നഷ്ടപ്പെടുത്താതെ നിങ്ങൾ പൂർണ്ണപ്രതിഫലം പ്രാപിക്കേണ്ടതിന് നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നെ സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്ളുവിൻ.
9 Whoever goes on and does not remain in the teaching of Christ, does not have God. He who remains in the teaching, the same has both the Father and the Son.
൯ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ഉപദേശത്തിൽ നിലനിൽക്കാതെ അതിർ കടന്നുപോകുന്നവന് ദൈവം ഇല്ല; ഉപദേശത്തിൽ നിലനില്ക്കുന്നവനോ പിതാവും പുത്രനും ഉണ്ട്.
10 If anyone comes to you, and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house, and do not welcome him,
൧൦ഈ ഉപദേശവും കൊണ്ടല്ലാതെ ആരെങ്കിലും നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നാൽ അവനെ നിങ്ങളുടെ വീട്ടിൽ സ്വീകരിക്കുകയും വന്ദനം ചെയ്യുകയും അരുത്.
11 for he who welcomes him participates in his evil works.
൧൧അവനെ വന്ദനം ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ അവന്റെ ദുഷ്പ്രവൃത്തികളിൽ പങ്കാളിയല്ലോ.
12 Having many things to write to you, I do not want to do so with paper and ink, but I hope to come to you, and to speak face to face, that our joy may be made full.
൧൨നിങ്ങൾക്ക് എഴുതുവാൻ പലതും ഉണ്ട്; എങ്കിലും കടലാസ്സിലും മഷികൊണ്ടും എഴുതുവാൻ എനിക്ക് മനസ്സില്ല. എന്നാൽ നമ്മുടെ സന്തോഷം പൂർണ്ണമാകേണ്ടതിന് നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽവന്ന് മുഖാമുഖമായി സംസാരിക്കുവാൻ ആശിക്കുന്നു.
13 The children of your chosen sister greet you.
