Haggai 1
1 In the second year of Daryavesh the king, in the sixth month, in the first day of the month, the word of the LORD came by Haggai, the prophet, to Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua, the son of Jehozadak, the cohen hagadol, saying,
Во второе лето, при Дарии цари, в шестый месяц, в первый (день) месяца, бысть слово Господне рукою Аггеа пророка глаголя: рцы к Зоровавелю Салафиилеву от колена Иудова и ко Иисусу сыну Иоседекову, иерею великому, глаголя:
2 "This is what the LORD of hosts says: These people say, 'The time hasn't yet come, the time for the LORD's house to be built.'"
сице глаголет Господь Вседержитель глаголя: людие сии глаголют: не прииде время создати храм Господень.
3 Then the word of the LORD came by Haggai, the prophet, saying,
И бысть слово Господне рукою Аггеа пророка глаголя:
4 "Is it a time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses, while this house lies waste?
аще время убо вам есть жити в домех ваших истесаных, храм же мой сей запусте?
5 Now therefore this is what the LORD of hosts says: Consider your ways.
И ныне сице глаголет Господь Вседержитель: устройте сердца ваша в пути вашя.
6 You have sown much, and bring in little. You eat, but you do not have enough. You drink, but you aren't filled with drink. You clothe yourselves, but no one is warm, and he who earns wages earns wages to put them into a bag with holes in it."
Сеясте много, и взясте мало: ядосте, и не в сытость: писте, и не в пиянство: облекостеся, и не согрестеся в них: и собираяй мзды собра во влагалище дираво.
7 This is what the LORD of hosts says: "Consider your ways.
Сице глаголет Господь Вседержитель: положите сердца ваша в пути вашя,
8 Go up to the mountain, bring wood, and build the house. I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified," says the LORD.
взыдите на гору и усецыте древа, и принесите и созиждите храм, и благоволю в нем и прославлюся, рече Господь.
9 "You looked for much, and, look, it came to little; and when you brought it home, I blew it away. Why?" says the LORD of hosts, "Because of my house that lies waste, while each of you is busy with his own house.
Призресте на многа, и быша мала, и внесосте я в храм, и отдунух я: сего ради сице глаголет Господь Вседержитель: зане храм Мой есть пуст, вы же течете кийждо в дом свой,
10 Therefore for your sake the heavens withhold the dew, and the earth withholds its fruit.
сего ради удержится небо от росы, и земля оскудит изношения своя,
11 I called for a drought on the land, and on the mountains, and on the grain, and on the new wine, on the oil, and on all what the ground produces, and on men, and on livestock, and on all the labor of the hands."
и наведу мечь на землю и на горы, и на пшеницу и на вино и на елей, и на вся, елика износит земля, и на человеки и на скоты и на вся труды рук их.
12 Then Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua, the son of Jehozadak, the cohen hagadol, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the LORD, their God, and the words of Haggai, the prophet, as the LORD, their God, had sent him; and the people feared the LORD.
И слыша Зоровавель Салафиилев от колена Иудова, и Иисус Иоседеков, иерей великий, и вси прочии людие глас Господа Бога своего и словеса Аггеа пророка, якоже посла его Господь Бог их к ним, и убояшася людие от лица Господня.
13 Then Haggai, the LORD's messenger, spoke the LORD's message to the people, saying, "I am with you," says the LORD.
И рече Аггей вестник Господень в вестницех Господних людем, глаголя: Аз есмь с вами, глаголет Господь.
14 The LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua, the son of Jehozadak, the cohen hagadol, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and worked on the house of the LORD of hosts, their God,
И воздвиже Господь дух Зоровавеля Салафиилева от колена Иудова и дух Иисуса Иоседекова, иереа великаго, и дух прочиих всех людий: и внидоша и творяху дела во храме Господа Вседержителя Бога своего.
