< 2 Samuel 4 >

1 Now when Ishbaal, Saul's son, heard that Abner was dead in Hebron, he lost courage, and all Israel was troubled.
Idi nangngeg ni Isboset a putot ni Saul, a natayen ni Abner idiay Hebron, kimmapsut dagiti imana ken nariribukan ti entero nga Israel.
2 And Ishbaal, Saul's son, had two men who were captains of bands; the name of the one was Baanah, and the name of the other Rechab, the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, of the people of Benjamin (for Beeroth was regarded as belonging to the people of Benjamin;
Ita, ti putot ni Saul ket addaan iti dua a tao a kapitan dagiti bunggoy dagiti soldado. Ti nagan ti maysa ket Baana ken ti maysa ket Recab, putot ni Rimmon a Beerorita kadagiti tattao ti Benjamin. (ta ti Beerot ket maibilang a paset iti Benjamin,
3 and the Beerothites fled to Gittaim, and have lived as foreigners there until this day).
ket nagtalaw dagiti Berorita a nagturong idiay Gittaim ket nagnaeddan sadiay agingga iti daytoy a tiempo).
4 Now Jonathan, Saul's son, had a son whose feet were crippled. He was five years old when the news came of Saul and Jonathan from Jezreel, and his nurse took him up and fled. And it happened as she was hurrying to get away that he fell and was injured. And his name was Mippibaal.
Ita, ni Jonatan a putot ni Saul ket adda maysa a putotna a pilay dagiti sakana. Lima ti tawenna idi dimteng ti damag manipud iti Jezreel maipapan kada Saul ken Jonatan. Innala isuna ti mangay-aywan kenkuana tapno aglibasda. Ngem kabayatan ti panagtartarayna, natnagna ti putot ni Jonatan ket nagbalin a pilay. Mefiboset ti naganna.
5 The sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, Rechab and Baanah, went, and came about the heat of the day to the house of Ishbaal, as he took his rest at noon.
Isu a nagdaliasat iti kapudpudotan ti aldaw dagiti annak ni Remmon a Beerorita, da Recab ken Baana a nagturong iti balay ni Isboset, kabayatan iti panagin-inanana iti tengnga iti aldaw.
6 And look, the doorkeeper of the house had been sifting wheat, and she became drowsy and fell asleep. And Rechab and his brother Baanah slipped by.
Nairedep ti babai nga agbanbantay iti ridaw bayat iti panagtataepna iti trigo, ket siuulimek a simrek da Recab ken Baana ket nalabsanda isuna.
7 And they went into the house where he was lying on his bed in his bedchamber. And they struck him and killed him, and beheaded him. And they took his head and went by the way of the Arabah all night.
Ket kalpasan a nakastrekda iti balay, dinarupda ni Isboset ket pinatayda isuna a nakaidda iti papagna iti siledna. Ket insinada ti ulona ken innalada daytoy, nagdaldaliasatda iti dalan iti agpatpatnag a nagturong iti Araba.
8 They brought the head of Ishbaal to David at Hebron, and said to the king, "Look, the head of Ishbaal, the son of Saul, your enemy, who sought your life. The LORD has avenged my lord the king this day of Saul and his descendants."
Inyegda ti ulo ni Isboset kenni David idiay Hebron, ket kinunada iti ari, “Kitaem, daytoy ti ulo ni Isboset a putot ni Saul, a kabusormo, a nagpanggep iti dakes iti biagmo. Ita nga aldaw, imbales ni Yahweh ti apomi nga ari maibusor kenni Saul ken kadagiti kaputotanna.”
9 David answered Rechab and Baanah his brother, the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, and said to them, "As the LORD lives, who has redeemed my soul out of all adversity,
Sinungbatan ni David da Recab ken Baana a kabsatna, a putot ni Remmon a Beerorita; kinunana kadakuada, “Iti nagan ni Yahweh nga adda iti agnanayon, nga isu ti nangiyaon iti biagko manipud iti amin a pakariribukan,
10 when someone told me, 'Look, Saul is dead,' thinking to have brought good news, I took hold of him, and killed him in Ziklag, which was the reward I gave him for his news.
idi adda maysa a nangibaga kaniak, 'Kitaem, natayen ni Saul,' nga impagarupna a naimbag a damag ti idandanonna, tiniliwko isuna ket pinatayko idiay Siklag. Dayta ti gunggona nga impaayko kenkuana iti impadamagna.
11 How much more, when wicked men have slain a righteous person in his own house on his bed, shall I not now require his blood of your hand, and take you away from the earth?"
Anianto ketdin, no pinatay dagiti nadangkes a lallaki ti awan basolna a tao iti bukodna a balay iti bukodna a papag, rumbeng kadi a saanko ita a sapulen ti darana kadagiti imayo, ket pukawenkayo iti daga?”
12 David commanded his young men, and they killed them, and cut off their hands and their feet, and hanged them up beside the pool in Hebron. But they took the head of Ishbaal, and buried it in the grave of Abner in Hebron.
Ket, nangbilin ni David kadagiti agtutubo a lallaki, ket pinatayda ida ken pinutedda dagiti ima ken saksakada sada imbitin ida iti abay ti bubon idiay Hebron. Ngem innalada ti ulo ni Isboset ket inkalida iti tanem ni Abner idiay Hebron.
