2 Chronicles 23
1 In the seventh year Jehoiada strengthened himself, and took the captains of hundreds, Azariah the son of Jeroham, and Ishmael the son of Jehohanan, and Azariah the son of Obed, and Maaseiah the son of Adaiah, and Elishaphat the son of Zikri, into covenant with him.
В лето же седмое укрепися Иодай, и взя сотники, Азарию сына Иорамля и Исмаила сына Иоананя, и Азарию сына Овидова и Амасию сына Адиева и Елисафана сына Захариина с собою в дом Господень.
2 They went about in Judah, and gathered the Levites out of all the cities of Judah, and the heads of fathers' households of Israel, and they came to Jerusalem.
И обыдоша Иудею, и собраша левиты от всех градов Иудиных и началники отечеств Израилевых, и приидоша во Иерусалим.
3 All the assembly made a covenant in the house of God with the king. And he showed them the king's son. And he said to them, "Look, the king's son shall reign, as the LORD has spoken concerning the descendants of David.
И завеща все собрание Иудино завет в дому Божии со царем: и показа им сына царева и рече им (Иодай): се, сын царев да воцарится, якоже глагола Господь о доме Давидове:
4 This is the thing that you shall do. A third part of you, who come in on the Sabbath, of the cohanim and of the Levites, shall be gatekeepers of the thresholds.
и ныне слово сие, еже сотворите: третия часть от вас да изыдет в субботу, священников и левитов, и во врата входов,
5 A third part shall be at the king's house; and a third part at the gate of the foundation. All the people shall be in the courts of the LORD's house.
и третия часть в дому цареве, и третия часть во вратех средних, и вси людие (да будут) во дворех дому Господня:
6 But let no one come into the house of the LORD, except the cohanim, and those who minister of the Levites. They shall come in, for they are holy, but all the people shall follow the LORD's instructions.
и никтоже да внидет в дом Господень, токмо священницы и левити и иже служат от левит: тии внидут, яко освящени суть, вси же людие да держат стражу Господню:
7 The Levites shall surround the king, every man with his weapons in his hand. Whoever comes into the house, let him be slain. Be with the king when he comes in, and when he goes out."
левити же да ходят окрест царя, кийждо имея оружие свое в руку своею, и входяй в церков да убиется, и да будут со царем, входящу ему и исходящу.
8 So the Levites and all Judah did according to all that Jehoiada the cohen commanded: and they took every man his men, those who were to come in on the Sabbath; with those who were to go out on the Sabbath; for Jehoiada the cohen did not dismiss the shift.
И сотвориша левити и весь Иуда по всему, елика повеле им Иодай жрец: и взяша кийждо мужы своя от начала субботы даже до исхода субботы: занеже не остави Иодай жрец службы дневныя.
9 Jehoiada the cohen delivered to the captains of hundreds the spears, and bucklers, and shields, that had been king David's, which were in God's house.
И даде Иодай священник сотником по чину поставленным мечы и щиты и броня, яже бяху царя Давида в дому Божии,
10 He set all the people, every man with his weapon in his hand, from the right side of the house to the left side of the house, along by the altar and the house, around the king.
и постави вся люди, коегождо во оружии его, от десныя страны церкве даже до левыя страны олтаря и церкве, над царем окрест:
11 Then he brought out the king's son, and put the crown on him, and gave him the testimony, and made him king: and Jehoiada and his sons anointed him; and they said, "Long live the king."
и изведе сына царева, и возложиша на него диадиму и свидения, и поставиша его царем, и помаза его Иодай жрец и сынове его и рекоша да живет царь.
12 When Athaliah heard the noise of the people running and praising the king, she came to the people into the house of the LORD:
И услыша Гофолиа глас людий текущих и исповедающих и хвалящих царя, и вниде ко царю в церковь Господню,
13 and she looked, and, look, the king stood by his pillar at the entrance, and the captains and the trumpets by the king; and all the people of the land rejoiced, and blew trumpets; the singers also played musical instruments, and led the singing of praise. Then Athaliah tore her clothes, and said, "Treason. Treason."
и виде, и се, царь стояше на степени своем, на входе же князи и трубы, и началницы окрест царя: и вси людие земли возрадовашася и вострубиша трубами, и поюще во органы певцы, и хваляще хвалою. И растерза Гофолиа ризы своя, и возопи и рече: нападающе нападаете.
14 Jehoiada the cohen brought out the captains of hundreds who were set over the army, and said to them, "Bring her out between the ranks; and whoever follows her, let him be slain with the sword." For the cohen said, "Do not kill her in the LORD's house."
Изыде же Иодай архиерей, и повеле сотником и началником силы и рече им: изрините ю вон из церкве, и изыдите вслед ея, и да убиется мечем. Рече бо священник да не умрет в дому Господни.
15 So they made way for her. She went to the entrance of the Horse Gate to the king's house; and they killed her there.
И даша ей ослабу на мало, дондеже пройде врата конник дому царева и убиша ю тамо.
16 Jehoiada made a covenant between himself, and all the people, and the king, that they should be the LORD's people.
И завеща Иодай завет между собою и всеми людьми и царем, да быша были людие Господни.
17 All the people went to the house of Baal, and broke it down, and broke his altars and his images in pieces, and killed Mattan the priest of Baal before the altars.
И внидоша вси людие земли в дом Ваалов и разориша его, и олтари его и идолы его сокрушиша, и Матфана жерца Ваалова убиша пред олтарем его.
18 Jehoiada appointed the officers of the house of the LORD under the hand of the cohanim and the Levites, and he appointed the divisions of the cohanim and the Levites, whom David had assigned in the house of the LORD, to offer the burnt offerings of the LORD, as it is written in the law of Moses, with rejoicing and with singing, according to the order of David.
И вручи Иодай жрец дела дому Господня в руку священников и левитов, и возстави дневныя чреды жерцев и левитов, яже раздели Давиде в дому Господни, и вознесе всесожжения Господеви, якоже писано есть в законе Моисеове, в радости и пениих по расположению Давидову:
19 He set the gatekeepers at the gates of the house of the LORD, that no one who was unclean in anything should enter in.
и постави придверники во вратех дому Господня, и да не внидет нечист во всяцей вещи:
20 He took the captains of hundreds, and the nobles, and the governors of the people, and all the people of the land, and brought down the king from the house of the LORD: and they came through the Upper Gate to the king's house, and set the king on the throne of the kingdom.
и взя отечеств началники, и сильныя, и началники людий, и вся люди земли, и возведоша царя от дому Господня, и вниде вратами внутренними в дом царев, и посадиша царя на престоле царстем.
21 So all the people of the land rejoiced, and the city was quiet. Athaliah they had slain with the sword.
И возвеселишася вси людие земстии и град упокоися, и Гофолиа убиена есть мечем.
