Romans 10
1 Brothers, my heart's desire and my prayer to God is for them, that they may be saved.
ହେ ଭାଇମାନେ, ସେମାନେ ଯେପରି ପରିତ୍ରାଣ ପାଆନ୍ତି, ଏହା ମୋହର ହୃଦୟର ବାଞ୍ଛା ଏବଂ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଛାମୁରେ ମୋହର ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା।
2 For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.
କାରଣ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ଯେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଉଦ୍ଯୋଗ ଅଛି, ଏହା ମୁଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସପକ୍ଷରେ ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଦେଉଅଛି, କିନ୍ତୁ ସେହି ଉଦ୍ଯୋଗ ଜ୍ଞାନଯୁକ୍ତ ନୁହେଁ।
3 For being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God.
ଯେଣୁ ଈଶ୍ବରଦତ୍ତ ଧାର୍ମିକତା ବିଷୟରେ ଅଜ୍ଞ ହୋଇ ଓ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଧାର୍ମିକତା ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବାକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରି ସେମାନେ ଈଶ୍ବରଦତ୍ତ ଧାର୍ମିକତାର ବଶୀଭୂତ ହୋଇ ନାହାନ୍ତି।
4 For Messiah is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
କାରଣ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ବିଶ୍ୱାସୀ ପକ୍ଷରେ ଧାର୍ମିକ ଗଣିତ ହେବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାର ଶେଷ ଅଟନ୍ତି।
5 For Moses writes about the righteousness of the law, "The one who does them will live by them."
କାରଣ ମୋଶା ଲେଖନ୍ତି, ଯେଉଁ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାମୂଳକ ଧାର୍ମିକତା ସାଧନ କରେ, ସେ ତଦ୍ୱାରା ବଞ୍ଚିବ।
6 But the righteousness which is of faith says this, "Do not say in your heart, 'Who will go up into heaven?' (that is, to bring Messiah down);
କିନ୍ତୁ ବିଶ୍ୱାସମୂଳକ ଧାର୍ମିକତା ଏପରି କହେ, “ମନେ ମନେ କୁହ ନାହିଁ, କିଏ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗାରୋହଣ କରିବ (ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କୁ ଓହ୍ଲାଇ ଆଣିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ)?”
7 or, 'Who will go down into the deep?' (that is, to bring Messiah up from the dead.)" (Abyssos g12)
“ଅବା ‘କିଏ ପାତାଳକୁ ଅବତରଣ କରିବ’” (ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କୁ ମୃତମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଉଠାଇଆଣିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ)? (Abyssos g12)
8 But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth, and in your heart;" that is, the message of faith that we proclaim:
କିନ୍ତୁ ତାହା କଅଣ କହେ? “ବାକ୍ୟ ତୁମ୍ଭର ନିକଟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ମୁଖରେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ହୃଦୟରେ ଅଛି,” ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ଯେଉଁ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧୀୟ ବାକ୍ୟ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପ୍ରଚାର କରୁ, ସେହି ବାକ୍ୟ।
9 If you acknowledge with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
ଯେଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯଦି ମୁଖରେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଭୁ ବୋଲି ସ୍ୱୀକାର କରିବ, ଆଉ ଈଶ୍ବର ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ମୃତମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଉଠାଇଅଛନ୍ତି ବୋଲି ହୃଦୟରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରିବ, ତେବେ ପରିତ୍ରାଣ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେବ;
10 For with the heart one believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth acknowledgment is made, resulting in salvation.
କାରଣ ଧାର୍ମିକତାପ୍ରାପ୍ତି ନିମନ୍ତେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ହୃଦୟରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରେ ଓ ପରିତ୍ରାଣ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତି ନିମନ୍ତେ ମୁଖରେ ସ୍ୱୀକାର କରେ।
11 For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes in him will not be put to shame."
ଯେଣୁ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ର କହେ, ଯେ କେହି ତାହାଙ୍କଠାରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରେ, ସେ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ହେବ ନାହିଁ।
12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord of all is rich to all who call on him.
କାରଣ ଯିହୁଦୀ ଓ ଗ୍ରୀକ୍ ମଧ୍ୟରେ କିଛି ପ୍ରଭେଦ ନାହିଁ; ଯେଣୁ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କର ତ ଏକ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ଆଉ ଯେତେ ଲୋକ ତାହାଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରନ୍ତି, ସେ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ସେ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହର ନିଧିସ୍ୱରୂପ।
13 For, "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."
କାରଣ ଯେ କେହି ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନାମ ଧରି ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରିବ, ସେ ପରିତ୍ରାଣ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେବ।
14 How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without someone preaching?
ତେବେ ଯାହାଙ୍କୁ ସେମାନେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରି ନାହାନ୍ତି, ତାହାଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ କିପରି ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରିବେ? ପୁଣି, ଯାହାଙ୍କ କଥା ସେମାନେ ଶୁଣି ନାହାନ୍ତି, କିପରି ତାହାଙ୍କଠାରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରିବେ? ଆଉ ପ୍ରଚାରକ ବିନା ସେମାନେ କିପରି ଶୁଣିବେ?
15 And how will they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of peace, who bring good news of good things."
ପୁଣି, ପ୍ରେରିତ ନ ହେଲେ କିପରି ପ୍ରଚାର କରିବେ? ଯେପରି ଲେଖାଅଛି, “ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଶୁଭ ବିଷୟର ସୁସମାଚାର ଆଣନ୍ତି, ସେମାନଙ୍କର ପାଦ କିପରି ଶୋଭାଯୁକ୍ତ।”
16 But they did not all listen to the gospel. For Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed our report?"
କିନ୍ତୁ ସମସ୍ତେ ସୁସମାଚାରର ବଶୀଭୂତ ହେଲେ ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ଯିଶାଇୟ କହନ୍ତି, “ହେ ପ୍ରଭୁ, କିଏ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ବାଦ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରିଅଛି?”
17 So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Messiah.
ଅତଏବ, ବିଶ୍ୱାସ ଶ୍ରବଣରୁ ଜାତ ହୁଏ ଓ ଶ୍ରବଣ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ୟ ଦ୍ୱାରା ହୁଏ।
18 But I ask, isn't it rather that they did not hear? On the contrary, "Their voice has gone out to all the earth, their words to the farthest parts of the world."
କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ କହେ, “ସେମାନେ କି ଶୁଣି ନାହାନ୍ତି? ହଁ, ନିଶ୍ଚୟ; ସମୁଦାୟ ପୃଥିବୀରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସ୍ୱର, ଆଉ ଜଗତର ସୀମା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ୟ ବ୍ୟାପିଗଲା।”
19 But I ask, did not Israel know? First Moses says, "I will provoke you to jealousy with that which is not a people. I will make you angry with a foolish nation."
କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ କହେ, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ କଅଣ ଜାଣି ନାହାନ୍ତି? ପ୍ରଥମରେ ମୋଶା କହନ୍ତି, “ଆମ୍ଭେ ନଗଣ୍ୟ ଜାତି ଦ୍ୱାରା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଈର୍ଷା ଜନ୍ମାଇବା, ଗୋଟିଏ ନିର୍ବୋଧ ଜାତି ଦ୍ୱାରା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କ୍ରୋଧାନ୍ୱିତ କରିବା।”
20 Isaiah is very bold, and says, "I was found by those who did not seek me. I was revealed to those who did not ask for me."
ତାହା ପରେ ଯିଶାଇୟ ସାହସରେ କହନ୍ତି, “ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଅନ୍ୱେଷଣ କରୁ ନ ଥିଲେ, ସେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେଲେ; ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭ ବିଷୟ ପଚାରୁ ନ ଥିଲେ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ହେଲୁ।”
21 But as to Israel he says, "All day long I have stretched out my hands to a disobedient and obstinate people."
କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ବିଷୟରେ କହନ୍ତି, “ଆମ୍ଭେ ଅନାଜ୍ଞାବହ ଓ ପ୍ରତିକୂଳବାଦୀ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଦିନଯାକ ହସ୍ତ ବିସ୍ତାର କରିଅଛୁ।”
