< Romans 1 >

1 Paul, a servant of Messiah Jesus, called to be an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God,
PAULUS ladun Iesus Kristus men, me paeker, en wiala wanporon amen, me katoror ong papa rongamau en Kot,
2 which he promised before through his prophets in the holy Scriptures,
Me a kotin kopekidor sapwilim a saukop akan nan kisin likau saraui kan.
3 concerning his Son, who was born of the offspring of David according to the flesh,
Duen sapwilim a Ol me kisan kadaudok en Dawid ni tiak en pali uduk,
4 who was declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead, Jesus (the) Messiah our Lord,
O me kadede kidar, me a Sapwilim en Kot a manaman, duen a kotin iasadar sang ren me melar akan ki Ngen saraui, Iesus Kristus atail Kaun,
5 through whom we received grace and the office of apostle, for obedience of faith among all the nations, for his name's sake;
Me kit ale sanger mak o koa en wanporon, pwen padaki ong men liki kan karos ni mar a, pwe irail en poson o peik,
6 among whom you are also called to belong to Jesus (the) Messiah;
Pwe komail pil kisan irail, me paeker dong Iesus Kristus.
7 to all who are in Rome, loved by God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus (the) Messiah.
Komail karos kompoke pan Kot, me paeker me saraui kan, me mimi Rom mak o popol sang ren Kot Sam atail o Kaun Iesus Kristus en mi re omail!
8 First, I thank my God through Jesus (the) Messiah for all of you, because your faith is proclaimed throughout the whole world.
Iet kaieu, i kin kapinga ai Kot ki Iesus Kristus pweki komail karos; pwe omail poson me kalok sili lel penang sap karos.
9 For God is my witness, whom I serve in my spirit in the gospel of his Son, how I constantly mention you
Pwe Kot, me i kin papa ong ni ngen i ni ai padapadaki wei rongamau en sapwilim a Ol, me saunkadede pai, me i kin tamataman kin komail ansau karos, ngidingid ni ai kapakap akan.
10 always in my prayers, requesting, if by any means now at last I may succeed by the will of God to come to you.
Ngidingideki ansau karos, ma i sota pan kak pwarala re omail, ma iduen kupur en Kot.
11 For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you;
Pwe i inong iong udial komail, pwe i en katungole kin komail ekis pwais ngenin, pwe komail en tinainda.
12 that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith, both yours and mine.
Pwe i en kasarloleid re omail, pweki atail poson ta ieu.
13 Now I do not desire to have you unaware, brothers, that I often planned to come to you, and was hindered so far, that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among the other non-Jewish people.
Ari, ri ai ol akan, i sota men, me komail en sasa duen ai kileledier pan pak toto, en pwar wong komail, ap saik pisoki ong, pwen diar ekis wan ai dodok re omail, dueta ren wei tei kan.
14 I have an obligation both to Greeks and to barbarians, both to the wise and to the foolish.
Pwe ngai me pwaipwand ong men Krik o men liki kan, o ong me lolekong o me so lolekong kan.
15 So, for my part, I am eager to preach the gospel to you also who are in Rome.
Pwe duen a pan kak pai, i men pil padaki ong komail men Rom rongamau.
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes; for the Jew first, and also for the Greek.
Pwe i sota kin namenok ki rongamau, pwe i manaman en Kot, me kin kamaurela me poson akan karos, Sus oko mas, ap pil men Krik.
17 For in it is revealed God's righteousness from faith to faith. As it is written, "But the righteous will live by faith."
Pwe i me kin kasansaleda pung en Kot, me kin pwili sang poson, pwen poson duen a intingidier: Me pung o pan memaureki poson;
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of people, who suppress the truth by unrighteousness,
Pwe ongiong en Kot pan sansaleda sang nanlang ong me doo sang Kot akan o me sapung en aramas akan, me kin kawela melel ni arail sapung.
19 because what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them.
Pwe duen me pwarada sang ren Kot me sansal ong irail, pwe Kot me kotin kasansale ong irail,
20 For since the creation of the world his invisible attributes, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made. So they are without excuse. (aïdios g126)
Pwe meakan me so sansal duen i, iet akan, a manaman soutuk o pil duen a udan Kot sang ni ansaun sappa wiauier, kin sansal kida sapwilim a dodok kan, pwe solar pekid parail: (aïdios g126)
21 Because, although they knew God, they did not glorify him as God or give him thanks, but their thinking became nonsense, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Pweki irail asadar Kot, a re sota wauneki i duen me kon ong Kot pil sota masak tol a, a re aklemai ong i, mongiong sapung arail ap rotorotalar.
22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools,
Irail akereki pein irail ap lamponlar.
23 and traded the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal humans, and of birds, and four-footed animals, and crawling creatures.
Irail kawukilar lingan en Kot me so kak mor pasang, ong mom en aramas me kin mor pasang o mom en manpir akai, o man aluki pa, o man korop akan.
24 Therefore God also abandoned them in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the degrading of their bodies among themselves,
I me Kot kotin mueide kila irail, en inong iong kasaminlar mongiong arail ni ar kasautela pein war arail nan pung arail,
25 who exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creation rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
Me kawukila melel en Kot ong likam, ap pongi o papa ong dipisou mon Saun wia meakaros, me iasanai potepoteta amen. (aiōn g165)
26 For this reason, God abandoned them to their degrading passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for that which is contrary to nature.
Nan i me Kot mueidela kin ir ong inong sued akan, en lel ong arail li akan, en wuki sang ira’rail, kaokaoe ira’rail.
27 Likewise also the men, giving up natural relations with women, burned in their lust toward one another, men with men, committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the due penalty of their error.
Pil dueta ol akan liki sang iran li, ap kalel nan pung arail; ol asada ol, me so kon, ap pein kapokala nan war arail mangidi en ar wiawia kan.
28 Even as they refused to have God in their knowledge, God abandoned them to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not right;
Nan duen irail kang kataman ong Kot, Kot ap mueidalang irail, en kapitakaila kamom ong wia meakan me sued,
29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil habits, secret slanderers,
Me dir en sapung karos, morsued, norok kapwa, sempok, dir en peirin, lolap, akamai, widing, weid, lidu mongin,
30 slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
Pil en pan moli, likinekine, kasenta Kot, kang kapunglol, aklapalap, ponmaso, me kin diar me sued akan, so oke sam ar o in ar,
31 foolish, promise-breakers, heartless, unforgiving, unmerciful;
Lampon, inausopousok, sempok, somak.
32 who, knowing the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but also approve of those who practice them.
Re asa duen kapung pung en Kot, me kin wia mepukat, pan mau ong mela, a kaidin i eta, pwe re pil kin perenki irail, me kin wia mepukat.
