Psalms 76

1 [For the Chief Musician. On stringed instruments. A Psalm by Asaph. A song.] In Judah, God is known. His name is great in Israel.

۱ برای سالار مغنیان برذوات اوتار. مزمور و سرود آساف خدا در یهودا معروف است و نام او دراسرائیل عظیم!

2 And his abode is in Salem, and his lair in Zion.

۲ خیمه او است درشالیم و مسکن او در صهیون.

3 There he broke the flaming arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the weapons of war. (Selah)

۳ در آنجا، برقهای کمان را شکست. سپر و شمشیر و جنگ را، سلاه.

4 Glorious are you, and excellent, more than mountains of game.

۴ تو جلیل هستی و مجید، زیاده از کوههای یغما!

5 Valiant men lie plundered, they have slept their last sleep. None of the men of war can lift their hands.

۵ قوی‌دلان تاراج شده‌اند و خواب ایشان رادرربود و همه مردان زورآور دست خود رانیافتند.

6 At your rebuke, God of Jacob, both chariot and horse are cast into a deep sleep.

۶ از توبیخ تو‌ای خدای یعقوب، بر ارابه هاو اسبان خوابی گران مستولی گردید.

7 You, even you, are to be feared. Who can stand in your sight when you are angry?

۷ تو مهیب هستی، تو! و در حین غضبت، کیست که به حضورتو ایستد؟

8 You pronounced judgment from heaven. The earth feared, and was silent,

۸ از آسمان داوری را شنوانیدی. پس جهان بترسید و ساکت گردید.

9 when God arose to judgment, to save all the afflicted ones of the earth. (Selah)

۹ چون خدا برای داوری قیام فرماید تا همه مساکین جهان راخلاصی بخشد، سلاه،

10 Surely the wrath of man praises you. The survivors of your wrath are restrained.

۱۰ آنگاه خشم انسان تو راحمد خواهد گفت و باقی خشم را بر کمر خودخواهی بست.

11 Make vows to the LORD your God, and fulfill them. Let all of his neighbors bring presents to him who is to be feared.

۱۱ نذر کنید و وفا نمایید برای یهوه خدای خود. همه که گرداگرد او هستند، هدیه بگذرانند نزد او که مهیب است.

12 He humbles the spirit of princes. He is feared by the kings of the earth.

۱۲ روح روسا رامنقطع خواهد ساخت و برای پادشاهان جهان مهیب می‌باشد.
