Yochanan 1
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
ଆଦୌ ୱାଦ ଆସୀତ୍ ସ ଚ ୱାଦ ଈଶ୍ୱରେଣ ସାର୍ଧମାସୀତ୍ ସ ୱାଦଃ ସ୍ୱଯମୀଶ୍ୱର ଏୱ|
2 He was in the beginning with God.
ସ ଆଦାୱୀଶ୍ୱରେଣ ସହାସୀତ୍|
3 All things were made through him, and apart from him nothing was made that has been made.
ତେନ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱଂ ୱସ୍ତୁ ସସୃଜେ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱେଷୁ ସୃଷ୍ଟୱସ୍ତୁଷୁ କିମପି ୱସ୍ତୁ ତେନାସୃଷ୍ଟଂ ନାସ୍ତି|
4 In him was life, and the life was the light of humanity.
ସ ଜୀୱନସ୍ୟାକାରଃ, ତଚ୍ଚ ଜୀୱନଂ ମନୁଷ୍ୟାଣାଂ ଜ୍ୟୋତିଃ
5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness hasn't overcome it.
ତଜ୍ଜ୍ୟୋତିରନ୍ଧକାରେ ପ୍ରଚକାଶେ କିନ୍ତ୍ୱନ୍ଧକାରସ୍ତନ୍ନ ଜଗ୍ରାହ|
6 There came a man, sent from God, whose name was John.
ଯୋହନ୍ ନାମକ ଏକୋ ମନୁଜ ଈଶ୍ୱରେଣ ପ୍ରେଷଯାଞ୍ଚକ୍ରେ|
7 He came as a witness to testify about the light, that all might believe through him.
ତଦ୍ୱାରା ଯଥା ସର୍ୱ୍ୱେ ୱିଶ୍ୱସନ୍ତି ତଦର୍ଥଂ ସ ତଜ୍ଜ୍ୟୋତିଷି ପ୍ରମାଣଂ ଦାତୁଂ ସାକ୍ଷିସ୍ୱରୂପୋ ଭୂତ୍ୱାଗମତ୍,
8 He was not the light, but was sent that he might testify about the light.
ସ ସ୍ୱଯଂ ତଜ୍ଜ୍ୟୋତି ର୍ନ କିନ୍ତୁ ତଜ୍ଜ୍ୟୋତିଷି ପ୍ରମାଣଂ ଦାତୁମାଗମତ୍|
9 The true light that enlightens everyone was coming into the world.
ଜଗତ୍ୟାଗତ୍ୟ ଯଃ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱମନୁଜେଭ୍ୟୋ ଦୀପ୍ତିଂ ଦଦାତି ତଦେୱ ସତ୍ୟଜ୍ୟୋତିଃ|
10 He was in the world, and the world was made through him, but the world did not recognize him.
ସ ଯଜ୍ଜଗଦସୃଜତ୍ ତନ୍ମଦ୍ୟ ଏୱ ସ ଆସୀତ୍ କିନ୍ତୁ ଜଗତୋ ଲୋକାସ୍ତଂ ନାଜାନନ୍|
11 He came to his own, and those who were his own did not receive him.
ନିଜାଧିକାରଂ ସ ଆଗଚ୍ଛତ୍ କିନ୍ତୁ ପ୍ରଜାସ୍ତଂ ନାଗୃହ୍ଲନ୍|
12 But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God's children, to those who believe in his name,
ତଥାପି ଯେ ଯେ ତମଗୃହ୍ଲନ୍ ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ତସ୍ୟ ନାମ୍ନି ୱ୍ୟଶ୍ୱସନ୍ ତେଭ୍ୟ ଈଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ପୁତ୍ରା ଭୱିତୁମ୍ ଅଧିକାରମ୍ ଅଦଦାତ୍|
13 who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
ତେଷାଂ ଜନିଃ ଶୋଣିତାନ୍ନ ଶାରୀରିକାଭିଲାଷାନ୍ନ ମାନୱାନାମିଚ୍ଛାତୋ ନ କିନ୍ତ୍ୱୀଶ୍ୱରାଦଭୱତ୍|
14 And the Word became flesh and lived among us, and we saw his glory, such glory as of the one and only of the Father, full of grace and truth.
ସ ୱାଦୋ ମନୁଷ୍ୟରୂପେଣାୱତୀର୍ୟ୍ୟ ସତ୍ୟତାନୁଗ୍ରହାଭ୍ୟାଂ ପରିପୂର୍ଣଃ ସନ୍ ସାର୍ଧମ୍ ଅସ୍ମାଭି ର୍ନ୍ୟୱସତ୍ ତତଃ ପିତୁରଦ୍ୱିତୀଯପୁତ୍ରସ୍ୟ ଯୋଗ୍ୟୋ ଯୋ ମହିମା ତଂ ମହିମାନଂ ତସ୍ୟାପଶ୍ୟାମ|
15 John testified about him and shouted out, saying, "This was the one of whom I said, 'He who comes after me has surpassed me, for he was before me.'"
ତତୋ ଯୋହନପି ପ୍ରଚାର୍ୟ୍ୟ ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟମିଦଂ ଦତ୍ତୱାନ୍ ଯୋ ମମ ପଶ୍ଚାଦ୍ ଆଗମିଷ୍ୟତି ସ ମତ୍ତୋ ଗୁରୁତରଃ; ଯତୋ ମତ୍ପୂର୍ୱ୍ୱଂ ସ ୱିଦ୍ୟମାନ ଆସୀତ୍; ଯଦର୍ଥମ୍ ଅହଂ ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟମିଦମ୍ ଅଦାଂ ସ ଏଷଃ|
16 For of his fullness we all received, and grace upon grace.
ଅପରଞ୍ଚ ତସ୍ୟ ପୂର୍ଣତାଯା ୱଯଂ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱେ କ୍ରମଶଃ କ୍ରମଶୋନୁଗ୍ରହଂ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତାଃ|
17 For the Law was given through Moses, grace and truth came through Jesus (the) Messiah.
ମୂସାଦ୍ୱାରା ୱ୍ୟୱସ୍ଥା ଦତ୍ତା କିନ୍ତ୍ୱନୁଗ୍ରହଃ ସତ୍ୟତ୍ୱଞ୍ଚ ଯୀଶୁଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଦ୍ୱାରା ସମୁପାତିଷ୍ଠତାଂ|
18 No one has seen God at any time. The only Son, who is at the Father's side, has made him known.
କୋପି ମନୁଜ ଈଶ୍ୱରଂ କଦାପି ନାପଶ୍ୟତ୍ କିନ୍ତୁ ପିତୁଃ କ୍ରୋଡସ୍ଥୋଽଦ୍ୱିତୀଯଃ ପୁତ୍ରସ୍ତଂ ପ୍ରକାଶଯତ୍|
19 And this is John's testimony, when the Jewish leaders sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, "Who are you?"
ତ୍ୱଂ କଃ? ଇତି ୱାକ୍ୟଂ ପ୍ରେଷ୍ଟୁଂ ଯଦା ଯିହୂଦୀଯଲୋକା ଯାଜକାନ୍ ଲେୱିଲୋକାଂଶ୍ଚ ଯିରୂଶାଲମୋ ଯୋହନଃ ସମୀପେ ପ୍ରେଷଯାମାସୁଃ,
20 And he confessed, and did not deny, but he confessed, "I am not the Messiah."
ତଦା ସ ସ୍ୱୀକୃତୱାନ୍ ନାପହ୍ନୂତୱାନ୍ ନାହମ୍ ଅଭିଷିକ୍ତ ଇତ୍ୟଙ୍ଗୀକୃତୱାନ୍|
21 And they asked him, "What then? Are you Elijah?" And he said, "I am not." "Are you the Prophet?" And he answered, "No."
ତଦା ତେଽପୃଚ୍ଛନ୍ ତର୍ହି କୋ ଭୱାନ୍? କିଂ ଏଲିଯଃ? ସୋୱଦତ୍ ନ; ତତସ୍ତେଽପୃଚ୍ଛନ୍ ତର୍ହି ଭୱାନ୍ ସ ଭୱିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ୱାଦୀ? ସୋୱଦତ୍ ନାହଂ ସଃ|
22 They said therefore to him, "Who are you? Give us an answer to take back to those who sent us. What do you say about yourself?"
ତଦା ତେଽପୃଚ୍ଛନ୍ ତର୍ହି ଭୱାନ୍ କଃ? ୱଯଂ ଗତ୍ୱା ପ୍ରେରକାନ୍ ତ୍ୱଯି କିଂ ୱକ୍ଷ୍ୟାମଃ? ସ୍ୱସ୍ମିନ୍ କିଂ ୱଦସି?
23 He said, "I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, 'Make straight the way of the Lord,' as Isaiah the prophet said."
ତଦା ସୋୱଦତ୍| ପରମେଶସ୍ୟ ପନ୍ଥାନଂ ପରିଷ୍କୁରୁତ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱତଃ| ଇତୀଦଂ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତରେ ୱାକ୍ୟଂ ୱଦତଃ କସ୍ୟଚିଦ୍ରୱଃ| କଥାମିମାଂ ଯସ୍ମିନ୍ ଯିଶଯିଯୋ ଭୱିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ୱାଦୀ ଲିଖିତୱାନ୍ ସୋହମ୍|
24 (Now they had been sent from the Pharisees.)
ଯେ ପ୍ରେଷିତାସ୍ତେ ଫିରୂଶିଲୋକାଃ|
25 And they asked him, "Why then do you baptize, if you are not the Messiah, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?"
ତଦା ତେଽପୃଚ୍ଛନ୍ ଯଦି ନାଭିଷିକ୍ତୋସି ଏଲିଯୋସି ନ ସ ଭୱିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ୱାଦ୍ୟପି ନାସି ଚ, ତର୍ହି ଲୋକାନ୍ ମଜ୍ଜଯସି କୁତଃ?
26 John answered them, saying, "I baptize in water, but among you stands one whom you do not know.
ତତୋ ଯୋହନ୍ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟୱୋଚତ୍, ତୋଯେଽହଂ ମଜ୍ଜଯାମୀତି ସତ୍ୟଂ କିନ୍ତୁ ଯଂ ଯୂଯଂ ନ ଜାନୀଥ ତାଦୃଶ ଏକୋ ଜନୋ ଯୁଷ୍ମାକଂ ମଧ୍ୟ ଉପତିଷ୍ଠତି|
27 He is the one who comes after me, whose sandal strap I'm not worthy to loosen."
ସ ମତ୍ପଶ୍ଚାଦ୍ ଆଗତୋପି ମତ୍ପୂର୍ୱ୍ୱଂ ୱର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ଆସୀତ୍ ତସ୍ୟ ପାଦୁକାବନ୍ଧନଂ ମୋଚଯିତୁମପି ନାହଂ ଯୋଗ୍ୟୋସ୍ମି|
28 These things were done in Bethany across the Jordan, where John was baptizing.
ଯର୍ଦ୍ଦନନଦ୍ୟାଃ ପାରସ୍ଥବୈଥବାରାଯାଂ ଯସ୍ମିନ୍ସ୍ଥାନେ ଯୋହନମଜ୍ଜଯତ୍ ତସ୍ମିନ ସ୍ଥାନେ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱମେତଦ୍ ଅଘଟତ|
29 The next day, he saw Jesus coming to him, and said, "Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world.
ପରେଽହନି ଯୋହନ୍ ସ୍ୱନିକଟମାଗଚ୍ଛନ୍ତଂ ଯିଶୁଂ ୱିଲୋକ୍ୟ ପ୍ରାୱୋଚତ୍ ଜଗତଃ ପାପମୋଚକମ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ମେଷଶାୱକଂ ପଶ୍ୟତ|
30 This is he of whom I said, 'After me comes a man who ranks ahead of me, because he existed before me.'
ଯୋ ମମ ପଶ୍ଚାଦାଗମିଷ୍ୟତି ସ ମତ୍ତୋ ଗୁରୁତରଃ, ଯତୋ ହେତୋର୍ମତ୍ପୂର୍ୱ୍ୱଂ ସୋଽୱର୍ତ୍ତତ ଯସ୍ମିନ୍ନହଂ କଥାମିମାଂ କଥିତୱାନ୍ ସ ଏୱାଯଂ|
31 I did not know him, but for this reason I came baptizing in water: that he would be revealed to Israel."
ଅପରଂ ନାହମେନଂ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟଭିଜ୍ଞାତୱାନ୍ କିନ୍ତୁ ଇସ୍ରାଯେଲ୍ଲୋକା ଏନଂ ଯଥା ପରିଚିନ୍ୱନ୍ତି ତଦଭିପ୍ରାଯେଣାହଂ ଜଲେ ମଜ୍ଜଯିତୁମାଗଚ୍ଛମ୍|
32 And John testified, saying, "I saw the Spirit descending like a dove out of heaven, and it remained on him.
ପୁନଶ୍ଚ ଯୋହନପରମେକଂ ପ୍ରମାଣଂ ଦତ୍ୱା କଥିତୱାନ୍ ୱିହାଯସଃ କପୋତୱଦ୍ ଅୱତରନ୍ତମାତ୍ମାନମ୍ ଅସ୍ୟୋପର୍ୟ୍ୟୱତିଷ୍ଠନ୍ତଂ ଚ ଦୃଷ୍ଟୱାନହମ୍|
33 And I did not recognize him, but he who sent me to baptize in water, he said to me, 'On whomever you will see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, this is he who baptizes in the Holy Spirit.'
ନାହମେନଂ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟଭିଜ୍ଞାତୱାନ୍ ଇତି ସତ୍ୟଂ କିନ୍ତୁ ଯୋ ଜଲେ ମଜ୍ଜଯିତୁଂ ମାଂ ପ୍ରୈରଯତ୍ ସ ଏୱେମାଂ କଥାମକଥଯତ୍ ଯସ୍ୟୋପର୍ୟ୍ୟାତ୍ମାନମ୍ ଅୱତରନ୍ତମ୍ ଅୱତିଷ୍ଠନ୍ତଞ୍ଚ ଦ୍ରକ୍ଷଯସି ସଏୱ ପୱିତ୍ରେ ଆତ୍ମନି ମଜ୍ଜଯିଷ୍ୟତି|
34 And I have seen and have testified that this is the Chosen One of God."
ଅୱସ୍ତନ୍ନିରୀକ୍ଷ୍ୟାଯମ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ତନଯ ଇତି ପ୍ରମାଣଂ ଦଦାମି|
35 Again, the next day, John was standing with two of his disciples,
ପରେଽହନି ଯୋହନ୍ ଦ୍ୱାଭ୍ୟାଂ ଶିଷ୍ୟାଭ୍ୟାଂ ସାର୍ଦ୍ଧେଂ ତିଷ୍ଠନ୍
36 and he looked at Jesus as he walked, and said, "Look, the Lamb of God."
ଯିଶୁଂ ଗଚ୍ଛନ୍ତଂ ୱିଲୋକ୍ୟ ଗଦିତୱାନ୍, ଈଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ମେଷଶାୱକଂ ପଶ୍ୟତଂ|
37 And the two disciples heard him say this, and they followed Jesus.
ଇମାଂ କଥାଂ ଶ୍ରୁତ୍ୱା ଦ୍ୱୌ ଶିଷ୍ୟୌ ଯୀଶୋଃ ପଶ୍ଚାଦ୍ ଈଯତୁଃ|
38 And Jesus turned and saw them following, and said to them, "What are you looking for?" They said to him, "Rabbi" (which translated means Teacher), "where are you staying?"
ତତୋ ଯୀଶୁଃ ପରାୱୃତ୍ୟ ତୌ ପଶ୍ଚାଦ୍ ଆଗଚ୍ଛନ୍ତୌ ଦୃଷ୍ଟ୍ୱା ପୃଷ୍ଟୱାନ୍ ଯୁୱାଂ କିଂ ଗୱେଶଯଥଃ? ତାୱପୃଚ୍ଛତାଂ ହେ ରବ୍ବି ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ହେ ଗୁରୋ ଭୱାନ୍ କୁତ୍ର ତିଷ୍ଠତି?
39 He said to them, "Come, and you will see." They came and saw where he was staying, and they stayed with him that day. It was about four in the afternoon.
ତତଃ ସୋୱାଦିତ୍ ଏତ୍ୟ ପଶ୍ୟତଂ| ତତୋ ଦିୱସସ୍ୟ ତୃତୀଯପ୍ରହରସ୍ୟ ଗତତ୍ୱାତ୍ ତୌ ତଦ୍ଦିନଂ ତସ୍ୟ ସଙ୍ଗେଽସ୍ଥାତାଂ|
40 One of the two who heard John, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother.
ଯୌ ଦ୍ୱୌ ଯୋହନୋ ୱାକ୍ୟଂ ଶ୍ରୁତ୍ୱା ଯିଶୋଃ ପଶ୍ଚାଦ୍ ଆଗମତାଂ ତଯୋଃ ଶିମୋନ୍ପିତରସ୍ୟ ଭ୍ରାତା ଆନ୍ଦ୍ରିଯଃ
41 He first found his own brother, Simon, and said to him, "We have found the Messiah." (which is translated, Anointed One).
ସ ଇତ୍ୱା ପ୍ରଥମଂ ନିଜସୋଦରଂ ଶିମୋନଂ ସାକ୍ଷାତ୍ପ୍ରାପ୍ୟ କଥିତୱାନ୍ ୱଯଂ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟମ୍ ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ଅଭିଷିକ୍ତପୁରୁଷଂ ସାକ୍ଷାତ୍କୃତୱନ୍ତଃ|
42 He brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him, and said, "You are Simon the son of John. You will be called Cephas" (which is translated, Peter).
ପଶ୍ଚାତ୍ ସ ତଂ ଯିଶୋଃ ସମୀପମ୍ ଆନଯତ୍| ତଦା ଯୀଶୁସ୍ତଂ ଦୃଷ୍ଟ୍ୱାୱଦତ୍ ତ୍ୱଂ ଯୂନସଃ ପୁତ୍ରଃ ଶିମୋନ୍ କିନ୍ତୁ ତ୍ୱନ୍ନାମଧେଯଂ କୈଫାଃ ୱା ପିତରଃ ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ପ୍ରସ୍ତରୋ ଭୱିଷ୍ୟତି|
43 On the next day, he was determined to go out into Galilee, and he found Philip. And Jesus said to him, "Follow me."
ପରେଽହନି ଯୀଶୌ ଗାଲୀଲଂ ଗନ୍ତୁଂ ନିଶ୍ଚିତଚେତସି ସତି ଫିଲିପନାମାନଂ ଜନଂ ସାକ୍ଷାତ୍ପ୍ରାପ୍ୟାୱୋଚତ୍ ମମ ପଶ୍ଚାଦ୍ ଆଗଚ୍ଛ|
44 Now Philip was from Bethsaida, of the city of Andrew and Peter.
ବୈତ୍ସୈଦାନାମ୍ନି ଯସ୍ମିନ୍ ଗ୍ରାମେ ପିତରାନ୍ଦ୍ରିଯଯୋର୍ୱାସ ଆସୀତ୍ ତସ୍ମିନ୍ ଗ୍ରାମେ ତସ୍ୟ ଫିଲିପସ୍ୟ ୱସତିରାସୀତ୍|
45 Philip found Nathanael, and said to him, "We have found him of whom Moses in the Law and the Prophets wrote: Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph."
ପଶ୍ଚାତ୍ ଫିଲିପୋ ନିଥନେଲଂ ସାକ୍ଷାତ୍ପ୍ରାପ୍ୟାୱଦତ୍ ମୂସା ୱ୍ୟୱସ୍ଥା ଗ୍ରନ୍ଥେ ଭୱିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ୱାଦିନାଂ ଗ୍ରନ୍ଥେଷୁ ଚ ଯସ୍ୟାଖ୍ୟାନଂ ଲିଖିତମାସ୍ତେ ତଂ ଯୂଷଫଃ ପୁତ୍ରଂ ନାସରତୀଯଂ ଯୀଶୁଂ ସାକ୍ଷାଦ୍ ଅକାର୍ଷ୍ମ ୱଯଂ|
46 And Nathanael said to him, "Can any good thing come out of Nazareth?" Philip said to him, "Come and see."
ତଦା ନିଥନେଲ୍ କଥିତୱାନ୍ ନାସରନ୍ନଗରାତ କିଂ କଶ୍ଚିଦୁତ୍ତମ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ତୁଂ ଶକ୍ନୋତି? ତତଃ ଫିଲିପୋ ଽୱୋଚତ୍ ଏତ୍ୟ ପଶ୍ୟ|
47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and said about him, "Look, a true Israelite in whom there is no deceit."
ଅପରଞ୍ଚ ଯୀଶୁଃ ସ୍ୱସ୍ୟ ସମୀପଂ ତମ୍ ଆଗଚ୍ଛନ୍ତଂ ଦୃଷ୍ଟ୍ୱା ୱ୍ୟାହୃତୱାନ୍, ପଶ୍ୟାଯଂ ନିଷ୍କପଟଃ ସତ୍ୟ ଇସ୍ରାଯେଲ୍ଲୋକଃ|
48 Nathanael said to him, "How do you know me?" Jesus answered him, "Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you."
ତତଃ ସୋୱଦଦ୍, ଭୱାନ୍ ମାଂ କଥଂ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟଭିଜାନାତି? ଯୀଶୁରୱାଦୀତ୍ ଫିଲିପସ୍ୟ ଆହ୍ୱାନାତ୍ ପୂର୍ୱ୍ୱଂ ଯଦା ତ୍ୱମୁଡୁମ୍ବରସ୍ୟ ତରୋର୍ମୂଲେଽସ୍ଥାସ୍ତଦା ତ୍ୱାମଦର୍ଶମ୍|
49 Nathanael answered him, "Rabbi, you are the Son of God. You are King of Israel."
ନିଥନେଲ୍ ଅଚକଥତ୍, ହେ ଗୁରୋ ଭୱାନ୍ ନିତାନ୍ତମ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ପୁତ୍ରୋସି, ଭୱାନ୍ ଇସ୍ରାଯେଲ୍ୱଂଶସ୍ୟ ରାଜା|
50 Jesus answered him, "Because I told you, 'I saw you underneath the fig tree,' do you believe? You will see greater things than these."
ତତୋ ଯୀଶୁ ର୍ୱ୍ୟାହରତ୍, ତ୍ୱାମୁଡୁମ୍ବରସ୍ୟ ପାଦପସ୍ୟ ମୂଲେ ଦୃଷ୍ଟୱାନାହଂ ମମୈତସ୍ମାଦ୍ୱାକ୍ୟାତ୍ କିଂ ତ୍ୱଂ ୱ୍ୟଶ୍ୱସୀଃ? ଏତସ୍ମାଦପ୍ୟାଶ୍ଚର୍ୟ୍ୟାଣି କାର୍ୟ୍ୟାଣି ଦ୍ରକ୍ଷ୍ୟସି|
51 And he said to him, "Truly, truly, I tell you, you will see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man."
