Psalms 1

1 Blessed is the one who doesn't follow the advice of the wicked, or take the path of sinners, or join in with scoffers.

௧துன்மார்க்கர்களுடைய ஆலோசனையின்படி நடக்காமலும், பாவிகளுடைய வழியில் நிற்காமலும், பரியாசக்காரர்கள் உட்காரும் இடத்தில் உட்காராமலும்,

2 But his delight is in the law of Jehovah, and on his law he meditates day and night.

௨யெகோவாவுடைய வேதத்தில் பிரியமாக இருந்து, இரவும் பகலும் அவருடைய வேதத்தில் தியானமாக இருக்கிற மனிதன் பாக்கியவான்.

3 He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also does not wither, and whatever he does shall prosper.

௩அவன் நீரோடை ஓரமாக நடப்பட்டு, தன்னுடைய காலத்தில் தன்னுடைய கனியைத் தந்து, இலை உதிராமல் இருக்கிற மரத்தைப்போல இருப்பான். அவன் செய்வதெல்லாம் வாய்க்கும்.

4 Not so with the wicked; instead, they are like the chaff which the wind drives away.

௪துன்மார்க்கர்களோ அப்படியில்லாமல், காற்றுப் பறக்கடிக்கும் பதரைப்போல் இருக்கிறார்கள்.

5 Therefore the wicked shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

௫ஆகையால் துன்மார்க்கர்கள் நியாயத்தீர்ப்பிலும், பாவிகள் நீதிமான்களின் சபையிலும் நிலைநிற்பதில்லை.

6 For Jehovah knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked shall perish.

௬யெகோவா நீதிமான்களின் வழியை அறிந்திருக்கிறார்; துன்மார்க்கர்களின் வழியோ அழியும்.
