Psalms 126

1 [A Song of Ascents.] When Jehovah brought back those who returned to Zion, we were like those who dream.

੧ਯਾਤਰਾ ਦਾ ਗੀਤ ਜਦ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸੀਯੋਨ ਦੇ ਗ਼ੁਲਾਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੋੜ ਲੈ ਆਇਆ, ਤਦ ਅਸੀਂ ਸੁਫ਼ਨੇ ਵੇਖਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਸੀ!

2 Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, "Jehovah has done great things for them."

੨ਤਦ ਸਾਡੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਹਾਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਭਰ ਗਏ, ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੀਆਂ ਜੀਭਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਜੈਕਾਰਾ ਸੀ, ਤਦ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਆਖਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਵੱਡੇ-ਵੱਡੇ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ!

3 Jehovah has done great things for us, and we are glad.

੩ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਵੱਡੇ-ਵੱਡੇ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ, ਅਸੀਂ ਅਨੰਦ ਹੋਏ ਹਾਂ!

4 Restore our fortunes again, Jehovah, like the streams in the Negev.

੪ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਸਾਡੇ ਗ਼ੁਲਾਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ, ਦੱਖਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਦੀਆਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਮੋੜ ਲਿਆ!

5 Those who sow in tears will reap in joy.

੫ਜਿਹੜੇ ਹੰਝੂਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਬੀਜਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਜੈਕਾਰਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੱਢਣਗੇ।

6 He who goes out weeping, carrying seed for sowing, will certainly come again with joy, carrying his sheaves.

੬ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬੀਜਣ ਲਈ ਬੀਜ ਚੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਰੋਂਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਜੈਕਾਰਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੀਆਂ ਚੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਆਵੇਗਾ!
