Micah 4
1 But in the latter days, it will happen that the mountain of Jehovah's temple will be established on the top of the mountains, and it will be exalted above the hills; and peoples will stream to it.
Bara dhumaa keessa tulluun mana qulqullummaa Waaqayyoo tulluuwwan hunda keessaa ol dheeratee dhaabata; inni gaarran caalaa ol ol jedha; namoonnis itti yaaʼu.
2 Many nations will go and say, "Come, and let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths." For out of Zion will go forth the law, and the word of Jehovah from Jerusalem;
Saboonni baayʼeen dhufanii akkana jedhu; “Kottaa gara tulluu Waaqayyoo, gara mana Waaqa Yaaqoob ol baanaa. Inni akka nu daandii isaa irra deemnuuf karaa isaa nu barsiisa.” Seerri Xiyoon keessaa, dubbiin Waaqayyoo immoo Yerusaalem keessaa dhufa.
3 and he will judge between many peoples, and will decide concerning strong nations afar off. They will beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war any more.
Inni namoota hedduu gidduutti murtii kennee saboota jajjaboo gargar fagoo jiranis walitti araarsa. Isaan goraadee isaanii tumanii maarashaa, eeboo isaanii illee haamtuu tolfatu. Sabni tokko saba biraatti goraadee hin luqqifatu yookaan waraanaaf jedhanii siʼachi nama hin leenjisan.
4 But they will sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and no one will make them afraid: For the mouth of Jehovah of hosts has spoken.
Namni hundi muka wayinii isaatii fi muka harbuu isaa jala taaʼa; Waaqayyoon Waan Hunda Dandaʼu dubbateeraatii namni isaan sodaachisu tokko iyyuu hin jiru.
5 Indeed all the nations may walk in the name of their gods; but we will walk in the name of Jehovah our God forever and ever.
Saboonni hundinuu maqaa waaqota isaaniitiin deddeebiʼu; nu immoo bara baraa hamma bara baraatti maqaa Waaqayyo Waaqa keenyaatiin deddeebina.
6 "In that day," says Jehovah, "I will assemble that which is lame, and I will gather that which is driven away, and that which I have afflicted;
Waaqayyo akkana jedha; “Ani bara sana naafa walittin qaba; warra boojiʼamanii fi warra ani gaddisiises walittin qaba.
7 and I will make that which was lame a remnant, and that which was cast far off a strong nation: and Jehovah will reign over them on Mount Zion from then on, even forever."
Ani warra naafa hambaa, warra ariʼame immoo saba jabaa nan godha. Waaqayyo guyyaa sanaa jalqabee hamma bara baraatti Tulluu Xiyoon irratti bulchaa isaanii taʼa.
8 And you, tower of the flock, hill of the daughter of Zion, to you it will come, the former dominion will come, the kingdom of the daughter of Jerusalem.
Yaa gamoo eegumsa bushaayee, yaa daʼoo Intala Xiyoon, ol aantummaan durii siif ni deebifama; mootummaan Intala Yerusaalem ni dhufa.”
9 Now why do you cry out aloud? Is there no king in you? Has your counselor perished, that pain has gripped you like a woman in labor?
Ati amma maaliif akkana iyyitee boossa? Ati mootii hin qabduu? Wanni ati akka dubartii ciniinsuun qabee miixattuuf gorsaan kee badeetii?
10 Be in pain, and labor to bring forth, daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail; for now you will go forth out of the city, and will dwell in the field, and will come even to Babylon. There you will be rescued. There Jehovah will redeem you from the hand of your enemies.
Yaa Intala Xiyoon, akkuma dubartii ciniinsuun qabeetti aadi; ati amma bakkee keessa qubachuuf magaalaa keessaa baʼuu qabdaatii. Ati Baabilon dhaqxa; achitti ni baraaramta. Waaqayyo achitti harka diina keetii keessaa si fura.
11 Now many nations have assembled against you, that say, "Let her be defiled, and let our eye gloat over Zion."
Amma garuu saboonni hedduun si marsaniiru. Isaanis, “Isheen haa xurooftu; iji keenya xiyyeeffatee Xiyoonin haa ilaalu!” jedhu.
12 But they do not know the thoughts of Jehovah, neither do they understand his counsel; for he has gathered them like the sheaves to the threshing floor.
Isaan garuu yaada Waaqayyoo hin beekan; isaan karoora isaa kan inni akkuma bissii oobdiitti walitti qabe sana hin hubatan.
13 Arise and thresh, daughter of Zion; for I will make your horn iron, and I will make your hoofs bronze; and you will beat in pieces many peoples: and I will devote their gain to Jehovah, and their substance to the Lord of the whole earth.
“Yaa Intala Xiyoon kaʼiitii midhaan dhaʼi; ani gaanfa sibiilaa siif nan kennaatii; ani kottee naasii siif nan kenna; atis saboota baayʼee caccabsita.” Ati horii isaan karaa hamaadhaan argatan Waaqayyoof kennita; qabeenya isaaniis Gooftaa lafa hundaatiif kennita.
