Jeremiah 20
1 Now Pashhur, the son of Immer the priest, who was chief officer in the house of Jehovah, heard Jeremiah prophesying these things.
၁ဣမေရ၏သားယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်ပါရှုရသည် ဗိမာန်တော်အုပ်ချုပ်ရေးမှူးဖြစ်၏။ သူသည် ပရောဖက်ငါဟောပြောသောစကားများ ကိုကြားသဖြင့်၊-
2 Then Pashhur struck Jeremiah the prophet, and put him in the stocks that were in the Upper Gate of Benjamin, which was in the house of Jehovah.
၂ငါ့အားရိုက်နှက်ပြီးလျှင်ဗိမာန်တော်အတွင်း ဗင်္ယာမိန်အထက်တံခါးအနီးတွင် သံကြိုး များဖြင့်ချည်နှောင်၍ထား၏။-
3 It happened on the next day, that Pashhur brought forth Jeremiah out of the stocks. Then Jeremiah said to him, "Jehovah has not called your name 'Pashhur,' but 'Magor-Missabib.'
၃နောက်တစ်နေ့နံနက်၌ပါရှုရသည်ငါ့အား အနှောင်အဖွဲ့မှလွှတ်လိုက်သောအခါ ငါ က``ထာဝရဘုရားသည်သင့်အားပါရှုရ ဟုအမည်ပေးတော်မမူ။ နေရာတကာ အကြမ်းဖက်သမားဟုမှည့်ခေါ်တော်မူ လေပြီ။-
4 For thus says Jehovah, 'Look, I will make you a terror to yourself, and to all your friends; and they shall fall by the sword of their enemies, and your eyes shall see it; and I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall carry them captive to Babylon, and shall kill them with the sword.
၄အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဆိုသော်ထာဝရဘုရားကိုယ် တော်တိုင်က`ငါသည်သင့်အားကိုယ်အဖို့လည်း ကောင်း၊ မိတ်ဆွေများအဖို့လည်းကောင်း၊ ထိတ် လန့်ကြောက်ရွံ့ဖွယ်ကောင်းသူဖြစ်စေမည်။ ထို သူအပေါင်းတို့သည်လည်းရန်သူများ၏ဋ္ဌား ဖြင့်ကျဆုံးကြသည်ကိုသင်မြင်ရလိမ့်မည်။ ငါသည်ယုဒပြည်သားအပေါင်းတို့အား ဗာဗုလုန်မင်း၏လက်သို့အပ်တော်မူမည်။ သူသည်ထိုသူအချို့ကိုမိမိ၏ပြည်သို့ ဖမ်းဆီးခေါ်ဆောင်သွားလျက်အချို့တို့ ကိုမူကွပ်မျက်လိမ့်မည်။-
5 Moreover I will give all the riches of this city, and all its gains, and all the precious things of it, yes, all the treasures of the kings of Judah will I give into the hand of their enemies; and they shall make them a prey, and take them, and carry them to Babylon.
၅ငါသည်ရန်သူတို့အားဤမြို့၏စည်းစိမ်ချမ်း သာမှန်သမျှကိုတိုက်ခိုက်လုယူစေမည်။ ဤ မြို့၏လက်ရှိဥစ္စာများနှင့်ပစ္စည်းပစ္စယမှန် သမျှနှင့် ယုဒဘုရင်များ၏ဘဏ္ဍာတော်တို့ ကိုဗာဗုလုန်ပြည်သို့သိမ်းယူသွားစေမည်။-
6 You, Pashhur, and all who dwell in your house shall go into captivity; and you shall come to Babylon, and there you shall die, and there you shall be buried, you, and all your friends, to whom you have prophesied falsely.'"
၆ပါရှုရ၊ သင်၏အဖို့မှာမူအိမ်သူအိမ်သားများ နှင့်အတူ အဖမ်းခံရလျက်ဗာဗုလုန်မြို့သို့ ရောက်ရှိရလိမ့်မည်။ သင်သည်ထိုမြို့တွင်သေရ လိမ့်မည်။ ထိုနောက်သင်ဟောပြောခဲ့သောမုသား စကားများကိုကြားနာခဲ့သူသင်၏မိတ်ဆွေ အပေါင်းနှင့်အတူသင်္ဂြိုဟ်ခြင်းကိုခံရလိမ့် မည်' '' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူကြောင်းပါရှုရအားဆို၏။
7 Jehovah, you have persuaded me, and I was persuaded. You are stronger than I am, and have prevailed. I have become a laughing-stock all day long; everyone mocks me.
၇အို ထာဝရဘုရား၊ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်သည် ကျွန်တော်မျိုးအားလှည့်စားတော်မူသဖြင့်၊ ကျွန်တော်မျိုးသည်အလှည့်စားခံရပါ၏။ ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်သည်ကျွန်တော်မျိုးထက် ခွန်အားကြီးတော်မူသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ ကျွန်တော်မျိုးကိုအနိုင်ရတော်မူပါ၏။ လူတိုင်းပင်ကျွန်တော်မျိုးကိုပြောင်လှောင်ကြ ပါပြီ။ သူတို့သည်ကျွန်တော်မျိုးအား တစ်နေကုန်တစ်နေခန်းပြက်ရယ်ပြုကြပါ၏။
8 For as often as I speak, I cry out; I cry, "Violence and destruction." because the word of Jehovah is made a reproach to me, and a derision, all the day.
၈ကျွန်တော်မျိုးသည်ဟောပြောသည့်အခါတိုင်း အော်ဟစ်၍``အကြမ်းဖက်မှု၊ပျက်စီးမှု'' ဟူ၍ ကြွေးကြော်ရပါ၏။ အို ထာဝရဘုရား၊ကျွန်တော်မျိုးသည်ကိုယ် တော်ရှင်၏ ဗျာဒိတ်တော်ကို၊ပြန်ကြားသဖြင့် ကဲ့ရဲ့ခြင်းကိုလည်းကောင်း၊ သရော်စော်ကားပြုခြင်းကိုလည်းကောင်း အစဉ်မပြတ်ခံရပါ၏။
9 If I say, "I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name," then there is in my heart as it were a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I am weary with forbearing, and I can't contain it.
၉သို့ရာတွင်``ငါသည်ထာဝရဘုရားကို မေ့လိုက်ပါတော့အံ့။ ကိုယ်တော်၏နာမတော်ကိုအမှီပြု၍ မဟောမပြောလိုတော့ပြီ'' ဟု ကျွန်တော်မျိုးဆိုသောအခါ၊ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်၏ ဗျာဒိတ်တော်သည် ကျွန်တော်မျိုး၏စိတ်နှလုံးအတွင်း၌မီးကဲ့သို့ တောက်လောင်ကာ ကျွန်တော်မျိုးသည်ထိုဗျာဒိတ်တော်ကိုကိုယ် အတွင်း၌ ပိတ်လှောင်ရန်ကြိုးစားပါသော်လည်းချုပ်ကိုင်၍ မထားနိုင်တော့ပါ။
10 For I have heard the defaming of many, terror on every side. "Denounce, and we will denounce him," say all my familiar friends, those who watch for my fall; "perhaps he will be persuaded, and we shall prevail against him, and we shall take our revenge on him."
၁၀ကျွန်တော်မျိုးသည်လူတို့တီးတိုးပြောဆိုနေသံကို ကြားရပါ၏။ သူတို့သည်ကျွန်တော်မျိုးအား``နေရာတိုင်းတွင် ထိတ်လန့်ကြောက်ရွံ့ဖွယ်ကောင်းသူ'' ဟု နာမည်ပေးပြီးလျှင်``သူ့အကြောင်းကို အာဏာပိုင်တို့အားသတင်းပေးကြကုန်အံ့၊'' ဟုဆိုကြပါ၏။ ကျွန်တော်မျိုး၏ရင်းနှီးသောမိတ်ဆွေများပင်လျှင် ကျွန်တော်မျိုးပြိုလဲသည်ကိုစောင့်မျှော်နေကြ ပါ၏။ သူတို့က``သူ့အားငါတို့လှည့်စား၍ ရကောင်းရပေလိမ့်မည်။ အငိုက်ဖမ်း၍လက်စားချေနိုင်လိမ့်မည်'' ဟု ဆိုကြပါ၏။
11 But Jehovah is with me as an awesome mighty one: therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail; they shall be utterly disappointed, because they have not dealt wisely, even with an everlasting dishonor which shall never be forgotten.
၁၁သို့ရာတွင် အို ထာဝရဘုရား၊ကိုယ်တော်သည် စွမ်းရည်တန်ခိုးကြီးမားသောစစ်သည်တော် ကဲ့သို့ ကျွန်တော်မျိုးဘက်၌ရှိတော်မူသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ ကျွန်တော်မျိုးကိုနှိပ်စက်ညှင်းဆဲသူတို့ သည် ခြေချော်၍လဲကြပါလိမ့်မည်။ သူတို့သည်အဘယ်အခါမျှအနိုင် ရလိမ့်မည်မဟုတ်ပါ။ သူတို့သည်အောင်မြင်မှုမရနိုင်သဖြင့် အစဉ်ပင် အသရေပျက်ကြပါလိမ့်မည်။ သူတို့၏အသရေပျက်မှုသည်အဘယ်အခါ ၌မျှ မေ့ပျောက်သွားလိမ့်မည်မဟုတ်ပါ။
12 But, Jehovah of hosts, who tests the righteous, who sees the heart and the mind, let me see your vengeance on them; for to you have I revealed my cause.
၁၂သို့ရာတွင်အနန္တတန်ခိုးရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်သည်လူတို့ကိုတရားသဖြင့် စစ်ဆေးတော်မူတတ်ပါ၏။ သူတို့၏စိတ်နှလုံးအကြံအစည်များကို သိတော်မူပါ၏။ သို့ဖြစ်၍ရန်သူများအားကိုယ်တော်ရှင် လက်စားချေသည်ကိုကျွန်တော်မျိုးမြင်ပါ ရစေ။ ကျွန်တော်မျိုးသည်မိမိ၏အမှုကိုလက် တော်သို့ ပေးအပ်၍ထားပါပြီ။
13 Sing to Jehovah, praise Jehovah; for he has delivered the soul of the needy from the hand of evildoers.
၁၃ထာဝရဘုရား၏ဂုဏ်တော်ကိုချီးကူး သီဆိုကြလော့။ ထာဝရဘုရားအားထောမနာပြုကြလော့။ ကိုယ်တော်သည်ဆင်းရဲသောသူတို့အား ဆိုးညစ်သူများ၏လက်မှကယ်ဆယ်တော် မူပါ၏။
14 Cursed is the day in which I was born: do not let the day in which my mother bore me be blessed.
၁၄ငါမွေးဖွားသည့်နေ့သည်အမင်္ဂလာရှိပါစေသော။ ငါ့ကိုငါ၏မိခင်မျက်နှာမြင်သည့်နေ့သည် မေ့ပျောက်၍သွားပါစေသော။
15 Cursed is the man who brought news to my father, saying, A boy is born to you; making him very glad.
၁၅``သားယောကျာ်းဖြစ်သည်။ သင်သည်သားယောကျာ်းကိုရရှိပါပြီ'' ဟူသော သတင်းကိုယူဆောင်လာကာ ငါ၏ဖခင်အားဝမ်းမြောက်ဝမ်းသာဖြစ်စေ သူသည် ကျိန်ခြင်းခံရပါစေသော။
16 Let that man be as the cities which Jehovah overthrew, and did not repent: and let him hear a cry in the morning, and shouting at noontime;
၁၆ထိုသူသည်ကရုဏာကင်းမဲ့စွာထာဝရ ဘုရား ဖျက်ဆီးတော်မူသောမြို့များကဲ့သို့ဖြစ်ပါ စေသော။ မမွေးမဖွားမီကာလကပင်ငါ့ကိုမသတ်ခဲ့ သဖြင့် သူသည်နံနက်ချိန်၌ဝေဒနာနှင့်ဟစ်အော် သံများ ကိုလည်းကောင်း၊ မွန်းတည့်ချိန်၌တိုက်ပွဲဝင်ရန်အချက် ပေးသံများ ကိုလည်းကောင်းကြားရပါစေသော။ အကယ်၍သူသည်ငါ့ကိုသတ်ခဲ့ပါမူ ငါ့မိခင်၏ဝမ်းသည်ငါ၏သင်္ချိုင်းဖြစ်ပါ လိမ့်မည်။
17 because he did not kill me from the womb; and so my mother would have been my grave, and her womb always great.

18 Why came I forth out of the womb to see labor and sorrow, that my days should be consumed with shame?
၁၈ငါသည်အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဖွားမြင်၍လာရပါ သနည်း။ ဝမ်းနည်းပူပန်ခြင်းနှင့်ဆင်းရဲဒုက္ခခံရန် သာလျှင် ဖြစ်ပါသလော။ ငါ၏ဘဝကိုအသရေပျက်မှုနှင့်နိဂုံးချုပ် ရန်ပင် ဖြစ်ပါသလော။
