Genesis 21
1 Now God visited Sarah as he had said, and did to Sarah as he had spoken.
၁ထာဝရဘုရားသည်ကတိတော်ရှိသည်အတိုင်း စာရာကိုကောင်းချီးပေးတော်မူသဖြင့်၊-
2 Sarah conceived, and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.
၂အာဗြဟံအသက်အရွယ်ကြီးရင့်သည့်အခါ ၌ စာရာသည်ကိုယ်ဝန်ဆောင်၍သားကိုဖွားမြင် လေ၏။ ဘုရားသခင်သတ်မှတ်သောအချိန်၌ ထိုသားကိုဖွားမြင်၏။-
3 Abraham called his son who was born to him, whom Sarah bore to him, Isaac.
၃အာဗြဟံသည်ထိုသားကိုဣဇာက်ဟုနာမည် မှည့်၍၊-
4 Abraham circumcised his son, Isaac, when he was eight days old, as God had commanded him.
၄ဘုရားသခင်မိန့်မှာတော်မူသည့်အတိုင်းရှစ်ရက် သားအရွယ်၌အရေဖျားလှီးခြင်းမင်္ဂလာကို စီရင်လေသည်။-
5 Abraham was one hundred years old when his son, Isaac, was born to him.
၅ဣဇာက်ကိုဖွားမြင်သောအခါအာဗြဟံသည် အသက်တစ်ရာရှိပြီဖြစ်၏။-
6 Sarah said, "God has made me laugh. Everyone who hears will laugh with me."
၆စာရာကလည်း``ဘုရားသခင်သည်ငါ့အားရယ် စေတော်မူပြီ။ ဤသတင်းကိုကြားရသောသူ တိုင်းငါနှင့်အတူရယ်လိမ့်မည်'' ဟုဆိုလေ၏။-
7 She said, "Who would have said to Abraham, that Sarah would nurse children? For I have borne him a son in his old age."
၇စာရာကဆက်လက်၍``စာရာသည်သားကိုနို့ တိုက်မည်ဟုမည်သူကအာဗြဟံအားပြောမည် နည်း။ ယခုမူကားအသက်အရွယ်ကြီးရင့်သော အချိန်၌ငါသည်သူ့အတွက်သားကိုဖွားပြီ'' ဟုဆိုလေ၏။
8 The child grew, and was weaned. Abraham made a great feast on the day that Isaac was weaned.
၈ထိုသူငယ်သည်ကြီးထွားလာ၍နို့ခွဲသောနေ့၌ အာဗြဟံသည်ဧည့်ခံပွဲကြီးကျင်းပလေ၏။
9 Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, whom she had borne to Abraham, mocking.
၉တစ်နေ့သ၌အီဂျစ်အမျိုးသမီးဟာဂရ နှင့်ရသော အာဗြဟံ၏သားဣရှမေလသည် စာရာ၏သားဣဇာက်နှင့်အတူကစားလျက် ရှိသည်။-
10 Therefore she said to Abraham, "Cast out this slave woman and her son. For the son of this slave woman will not be heir with my son, Isaac."
၁၀ထိုအခြင်းအရာကိုမြင်လျှင်စာရာက``ဤကျွန်မ နှင့်သူ၏သားကိုနှင်ပစ်ပါ။ ကျွန်မ၏သားဣဇာက် ဆက်ခံရမည့်အမွေဥစ္စာကိုဤကျွန်မ၏သား ပါဝင်ခံစားခွင့်မရှိရ'' ဟုအာဗြဟံအား ပြောလေသည်။
11 The thing was very grievous in Abraham's sight on account of his son.
၁၁ဣရှမေလသည်မိမိ၏သားဖြစ်သောကြောင့် အာဗြဟံသည်ထိုစကားကိုကြားရလျှင် စိတ်မချမ်းမသာဖြစ်လေ၏။-
12 God said to Abraham, "Do not let it be grievous in your sight because of the boy, and because of your slave woman. In all that Sarah says to you, listen to her voice. For from Isaac will your descendants be called.
၁၂သို့ရာတွင်ဘုရားသခင်က``ထိုသူငယ်နှင့် သင်၏ကျွန်မဟာဂရအတွက်စိတ်မချမ်း မသာမဖြစ်နှင့်။ ငါကတိထားသည့်အတိုင်း ဣဇာက်မှသင်၏အမျိုးအနွယ်ဆင်းသက်မည် ဖြစ်သောကြောင့် စာရာပြောသမျှအတိုင်း ဆောင်ရွက်လော့။-
13 And I will also make a great nation of the son of the slave woman, because he is your offspring."
၁၃ကျွန်မ၏သားသည်လည်းသင်၏သားဖြစ်သော ကြောင့်သူ၏အဆက်အနွယ်ကိုလည်းလူမျိုး ကြီးဖြစ်စေမည်'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
14 Abraham rose up early in the morning, and took food and a skin of water, and gave it to Hagar, putting it on her shoulder; and gave her the child, and sent her away. She departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Beersheba.
၁၄နောက်တစ်နေ့နံနက်စောစော၌အာဗြဟံသည် အစားအစာနှင့်ရေဘူးကိုဟာဂရအားပေး လေ၏။ သူငယ်ကိုလည်းကျွန်မ၏ပခုံးပေါ်တွင် တင်၍အိမ်မှထွက်ခွာသွားစေ၏။ ဟာဂရသည် လည်းအိမ်မှထွက်ခွာခဲ့ရာဗေရရှေဘဟုခေါ် သောတောကန္တာရသို့ရောက်လေ၏။-
15 The water in the skin was gone, and she shoved the boy under one of the shrubs.
၁၅ရေဘူးတွင်ရေကုန်သောအခါသူသည် ကလေးကိုချုံအောက်၌ထားခဲ့ပြီးလျှင်၊-
16 She went and sat down opposite him, a good way off, about a bow shot away. For she said, "Do not let me see the death of the boy." So she sat across from him, and he wept loudly.
၁၆ကိုက်တစ်ရာခန့်အကွာသို့သွား၍ထိုင်၏။ သူ က``သူငယ်ရေငတ်၍သေသည်ကိုငါမမြင်လို'' ဟုဆို၏။ ထိုအခါသူမသည်ကျယ်လောင်စွာ ငိုလေ၏။
17 And God heard the voice of the boy, and the angel of God called to Hagar from the sky and said to her, "What troubles you, Hagar? Do not be afraid. For God has heard the voice of the boy where he is.
၁၇ဘုရားသခင်သည်သားငယ်ငိုသံကိုကြား တော်မူ၏။ ထိုကြောင့်ဘုရားသခင်၏ကောင်းကင် တမန်သည်ကောင်းကင်မှ``ဟာဂရ၊ သင်သည် အဘယ်ကြောင့်စိတ်ပူပန်ရသနည်း။ မစိုးရိမ် နှင့်။ ဘုရားသခင်သည်သား၏ငိုသံကိုကြား တော်မူပြီ။-
18 Get up, lift up the boy, and hold him by your hand. For I will make him a great nation."
၁၈ထလော့၊ သွား၍သူငယ်ကိုပိုက်ချီလော့။ ငါသည် သူ၏အဆက်အနွယ်ကိုလူမျိုးကြီးဖြစ်စေ မည်'' ဟုဆိုလေ၏။-
19 God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water. She went and filled the skin with water and gave the boy a drink.
၁၉ထိုနောက်ဘုရားသခင်သည်ဟာဂရ၏မျက်စိ ကိုဖွင့်တော်မူသဖြင့်သူသည်ရေတွင်းကိုမြင်ရ လေ၏။ သူသည်သားရေဘူးတွင်ရေတွင်းမှရေ နှင့်ဖြည့်၍သားငယ်ကိုရေတိုက်လေသည်။-
20 God was with the boy, and he grew. He lived in the wilderness, and became, as he grew up, an archer.
၂၀ဘုရားသခင်သည်သူငယ်နှင့်အတူရှိတော် မူ၏။ သူငယ်သည်လည်းကြီးထွား၍ပါရန်ဟု ခေါ်သောတောကန္တာရ၌နေထိုင်သဖြင့်ကျင် လည်သောမုဆိုးဖြစ်လာသည်။-
21 He lived in the wilderness of Paran. His mother got a wife for him from the land of Egypt.
၂၁သူသည်ပါရန်တောကန္တာရတွင်နေ-ထိုင်လျက် သူ့မိခင်သည်သူ့အားအီဂျစ်အမျိုးသမီး တစ်ဦးနှင့်စုံဖက်ပေးလေ၏။
22 It happened at that time, that Abimelech and Phicol the commander of his army spoke to Abraham, saying, "God is with you in all that you do.
၂၂ထိုအချိန်အခါအဘိမလက်သည်သူ၏စစ်ဗိုလ် ချုပ်ဖိကောလနှင့်အတူအာဗြဟံထံသို့သွား ၍``သင်ဆောင်ရွက်သမျှတို့၌ဘုရားသခင်ပါ ရှိတော်မူ၏။-
23 Now, therefore, swear to me here by God that you will not deal falsely with me, nor with my son, nor with my son's son. But according to the kindness that I have done to you, you shall do to me, and to the land in which you have lived as a foreigner."
၂၃သို့ဖြစ်၍သင်သည်ငါ့ကိုသော်လည်းကောင်း၊ ငါ ၏သားသမီးနှင့်အဆက်အနွယ်များကိုသော် လည်းကောင်းမလှည့်စားပါဟူ၍ဘုရားသခင် ၏ရှေ့တော်၌ကတိသစ္စာဆိုပါလော့။ ငါသည် သင့်အားသစ္စာစောင့်သည့်နည်းတူ ငါ့ကိုသော် လည်းကောင်း၊ သင်မှီတင်းနေထိုင်ရာဤပြည် ကိုသော်လည်းကောင်းသစ္စာစောင့်ပါမည်ဟူ၍ ကတိပြုလော့'' ဟုအာဗြဟံအားဆိုလေ၏။
24 And Abraham said, "I swear."
၂၄အာဗြဟံကလည်း``ထိုအတိုင်းငါကတိ သစ္စာဆိုပါ၏'' ဟုဆို၏။
25 Abraham complained to Abimelech because of a water well, which Abimelech's servants had violently taken away.
၂၅အာဗြဟံသည်အဘိမလက်၏ကျွန်တို့က အတင်းအဋ္ဌမ္မသိမ်းယူသောရေတွင်းအကြောင်း ကိုအဘိမလက်အားတိုင်ကြားလေ၏။-
26 Abimelech said, "I do not know who has done this thing. Neither did you tell me, neither did I hear of it, until today."
၂၆ထိုအခါအဘိမလက်က``မည်သူဤသို့ ပြုလုပ်သည်ဟူ၍ငါမသိရ။ သင်ကငါ့ကို ယခင်ကမပြောသဖြင့် ဤကိစ္စအကြောင်း ကိုယခုမှငါသိရသည်'' ဟုဆိုလေ၏။-
27 Abraham took sheep and cattle, and gave them to Abimelech, and the two of them made a covenant.
၂၇ထိုနောက်အာဗြဟံသည်အဘိမလက်အား သိုးနှင့်နွားတို့ကိုပေး၍သူတို့နှစ်ဦးကတိ သစ္စာပြုကြလေသည်။-
28 Abraham set seven ewe lambs of the flock by themselves.
၂၈တစ်ဖန်အာဗြဟံသည်သူ၏သိုးအုပ်မှသိုး ကလေးခုနစ်ကောင်ကိုခွဲထုတ်လေ၏။-
29 Abimelech said to Abraham, "What do these seven ewe lambs which you have set by themselves mean?"
၂၉အဘိမလက်က``သင်အဘယ်ကြောင့်ထိုသို့ ပြုလုပ်သနည်း'' ဟုမေး၏။
30 He said, "You shall take these seven ewe lambs from my hand, that it may be a witness to me, that I have dug this well."
၃၀အာဗြဟံက``ဤရေတွင်းသည်ငါတူးသော ရေတွင်းဖြစ်သည်ဟုအသိအမှတ်ပြုသည့် အနေဖြင့် ဤသိုးကလေးခုနစ်ကောင်ကို လက်ခံပါ'' ဟုဖြေကြားလေသည်။-
31 Therefore he called that place Beersheba, because they both swore there.
၃၁ထိုသို့သူတို့နှစ်ဦးသည်သစ္စာဆိုကြသည် ဖြစ်၍ ထိုအရပ်ကိုဗေရရှေဘဟုခေါ်တွင် ကြသည်။
32 So they made a covenant at Beersheba. Abimelech rose up with Phicol, the commander of his army, and they returned into the land of the Philistines.
၃၂ဗေရရှေဘအရပ်တွင်သူတို့ကတိသစ္စာ ဆိုပြီးသည့်နောက် အဘိမလက်နှင့်ဖိကော လတို့သည်ဖိလိတ္တိပြည်သို့ပြန်ကြလေ၏။-
33 And Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beersheba, and called there on the name of Jehovah, the Everlasting God.
၃၃အာဗြဟံသည်ဗေရရှေဘအရပ်တွင်မန် ကျည်းတစ်ပင်ကိုစိုက်၍အစဉ်အမြဲတည် တော်မူသော ဘုရားသခင်တည်းဟူသော ထာဝရဘုရားကိုတိုင်တည်၍ဝတ်ပြု ကိုးကွယ်လေ၏။-
34 Abraham lived as a foreigner in the land of the Philistines many days.
၃၄ထိုနောက်အာဗြဟံသည်ဖိလိတ္တိပြည်တွင် ကြာမြင့်စွာနေထိုင်လေသည်။
