< 2 Samuel 15 >

1 And after this Absalom began to furnish himself with a chariot and horses, and fifty men to run before him.

2 And Absalom rose up early, and stood beside the road of the gate. Then when anyone had a dispute which should come to the king for judgment, then Absalom would call to him and say, "What city are you from?" When he said, "Your servant is of one of the tribes of Israel,"

4 And Absalom would say, "Oh that I were made judge in the land, then anyone who had a dispute and a judgment could come to me, and I would give him justice."
Ac el ac sifilpa fahk, “Saok ngan mwet nununku se! Lukun kutena mwet su oasr amei ku tukak yorol, ku in tuku nu yuruk ac nga sang nununku suwohs nu sel.”

12 And he sent and invited Ahithophel the Gilonite, David's counselor, from his city, even from Giloh, while he was offering the sacrifices. The conspiracy was strong; for the people increased continually with Absalom.

14 David said to all his servants who were with him at Jerusalem, "Arise, and let us flee; for else none of us shall escape from Absalom. Make speed to depart, lest he overtake us quickly, and bring down evil on us, and strike the city with the edge of the sword."
Ouinge David el fahk nu sin mwet pwapa nukewa lal su welul muta Jerusalem, “Kut enenu in som liki acn Jerusalem ingena, kut fin lungse kaingla lukel Absalom! Aksaye! El akura tuku nu inge, kutangkutla ac uniya mwet nukewa in siti uh!”

Na elos fahk, “Aok, leum fulat lasr. Kut akola in oru ma nukewa kom fahk.”
16 And the king went out with all his household following him. But the king left ten women, who were secondary wives, to take care of the palace.

A Ittai el topuk, “Leum fulat, nga fulahk nu sum inen LEUM GOD lah yen nukewa kom forfor nu we, nga ac wi kom in pacl nukewa, finne nu ke misa.”
22 David said to Ittai, "Go and pass over." Ittai the Gittite passed over, and all his men, and all the little ones who were with him.

27 The king said also to Zadok the priest, "Aren't you a seer? Return into the city in peace, and your two sons with you, Ahimaaz your son, and Jonathan the son of Abiathar.
Na el sifilpa fahk nu sel Zadok, “Usalla Ahimaaz wen nutum, ac Jonathan wen natul Abiathar, ac folokla nu in siti ah in misla.

30 David went up by the Ascent of the Olives, and wept as he went up; and he had his head covered, and went barefoot: and all the people who were with him covered every man his head, and they went up, weeping as they went up.
