Ahinlah David asepaiten ajah’a, “Ven eiho Judah gamsung jenga jong kichatah’a um ihiuvin, i-atileh Keilah khoa icheuva hiche Philistine sepaite khujatpi khutoh ikisatto pi thei diu ham?” atiuve.
4 Then David inquired of Jehovah yet again. Jehovah answered him, and said, "Arise, go down to Keilah; for I will deliver the Philistines into your hand."
Hijeh chun David in jong Pakai adongkit in ahile, Pakaiyin ajah’a, “Keilah ah kumsuh un, ajeh chu keiman kapanpia Philistine mite najo dingu ahi,” ati.
5 David and his men went to Keilah, and fought with the Philistines, and brought away their livestock, and killed them with a great slaughter. So David saved the inhabitants of Keilah.
Hijeh chun David le asepaite jong Keilah khopi’ah acheuvin, Philistinete agasat’un, mitamtah agathat tauve, chule agancha jouseu ahin kikai’un chule Keilah kho miho jong ahuhdoh un ahi.
6 It happened, when Abiathar the son of Ahimelech fled to David, that he went down with David to Keilah, having an ephod in his hand.
Ahimelech chapa Abiathar chu Keilah khopia kona ahung jamdoh’a David kom ahin jot chun, Thempuvon ompho khat ahin kipohlut in ahi.
7 Now it was told Saul that David had come to Keilah. So Saul said, "God has sold him into my hand, for he has shut himself in by entering into a town that has gates and bars."
David chu Keilah khoah ahung luttai tithu Saul’in ajah phat in, “Aphalheh jenge! Tuavang hi Pathen in kakhutna apehdoh ahitai, ajeh kulpi kaikhumsa, kulpi kikamkhum sung’a David hi ama amachama hung vahlut ahitai,” ati.
8 Then Saul summoned all the people to war, to go down to Keilah, to besiege David and his men.
Hitah chun Saul in asepaite jouse akhom khom soh keiyin, Keilah khopi chu ahin nokhum’un, David le asepaite chu aumkhum tauvin ahi
9 David knew that Saul was devising mischief against him; and he said to Abiathar the priest, "Bring the ephod here."
Ahinlah David in Saul thilgon jouse chu ahen, Abiathar thempupa jah’ah, “Thempuvon ompho chu hikomah hinchoiyin,” ati.
10 Then David said, "Jehovah, God of Israel, your servant has surely heard that Saul seeks to come to Keilah, to destroy the city for my sake.
Chuin David in, “Vo Pakai Israel Pathen, keima hiche muna kaum jeh hin Saul in Keilah khopia hung’a akhopi hi suhchim ding tohgon aneijin ahi.

13 Then David and his men, who were about six hundred, arose and departed out of Keilah, and went wherever they could go. And Saul was told that David had escaped Keilah; so he gave up the pursuit.
David le amiteho chu jagup vel alhinphat'un, Keilah mun chu adalhauvin thinglhang lang’ah apotdoh’u le David chu jamdoh tai tithu chu Saul lengpan ajahdoh phat in Keilah khopi lam chu anajon tapoi.
14 David stayed in the wilderness in the strongholds, and remained in the hill country in the wilderness of Ziph. Saul sought him every day, but Jehovah did not deliver him into his hand.
David vang chu gamthip lah ah munthip khat’ah aumin, Ziph gamthip thinglhang gamlah ah chun apansa dentai.
15 Now David was afraid that Saul had come out to seek his life. And David was in the wilderness of Ziph at Horesh.
Nikhat chu Horesh kom vella David aum pet in, Saul chun David tha ding hollin Ziph lam ahin jon touve tithu ajantan ahi.

18 They both made a covenant before Jehovah: and David stayed at Horesh, and Jonathan went to his house.
Hijeh chun amanin Pakai masang ah kitepna khat anei lhonin ahi. Chuin Jonathan ain lamah akilen, David vang chu Horesh mun ah aumdentai.
19 Then the Ziphites came up to Saul to Gibeah, saying, "Doesn't David hide himself with us in the strongholds at Horesh, on the hill of Hakilah, which is on the south of Jeshimon?
Chujouvin Ziph miho chu Gibeah muna Saul hengah acheuvin, David chu apedoh tauvin ahi. “Keihon kiselna mun kaheuve, Ama tuhin Jeshimon lhanglam’a um Hakilah thinglhang gam sung, Horesh kulpi dunga keiho lah’a David kisel ahi,” atiuvin ahi.
20 Now therefore, O king, come down, according to all the desire of your soul to come down. It will be our responsibility to deliver him up into the king's hand."
