< 1 John 5 >

1 Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God. Whoever loves the Father also loves the child who is born of him.
Kun manu Jisu he Khrista ase koi kene biswas kore tai Isor pora jonom loise, aru kun manu Isor ke morom kore, Tai jonom kora bacha ke bhi morom kore.
2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and do his commandments.
Etu pora jane amikhan Isor laga bacha khan ke morom kore, jitia amikhan Isor ke morom kore aru Tai laga hukum khan ke mane.
3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. His commandments are not grievous.
Kelemane etu he Isor nimite morom ase: amikhan Tai laga hukum khan mani kene thaka to. Tai laga hukum khan bhari nohoi.
4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world: our faith.
Kun manu Isor pora jonom loise tai duniya ke jiti loise. Etu pora amikhan duniya ke jiti loise, aru amikhan laga biswas bhi.
5 Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
Kelemane duniya ke jiti bole para jon to dusra nohoi kintu jun pora Jisu to Isor laga Putro ase koi kene biswas kori loise.
6 This is he who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.
Etu ekjon ase kun pani aru khun pora ahise: Jisu Khrista. Tai khali pani pora aha nai, kintu pani aru khun pora ahise. Etu Pobitro Atma pora he gawahi dise kelemane Atma to hosa ase.
7 For there are three who testify:
Kelemane ta te tinjon ase kun etu laga gawah ase:
8 the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and the three agree as one.
Atma, aru pani, aru khun. Etu tinta eke logote mili kene ase.
9 If we accept human testimony, the witness of God is greater; for this is God's testimony that he has testified concerning his Son.
Jodi amikhan pora manu khan laga gawahi loi, Isor laga gawahi he etu pora bhi dangor ase. Kelemane Isor laga gawahi to eneka ase, Tai pora he Tai laga Putro laga gawahi dise.
10 He who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. He who does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has given concerning his Son.
Kun manu Isor laga Putro ke biswas kore, tai nijor laga gawahi ase. Kun manu Isor ke biswas nakore Taike misa bonai dise, kelemane tai Isor pora Tai laga Putro laga gawahi diya to biswas kora nai.
11 The testimony is this, that God gave to us everlasting life, and this life is in his Son. (aiōnios g166)
Etu gawahi ase: Isor amikhan ke anonto jibon dise, aru etu jibon Tai laga Putro Jisu logote ase. (aiōnios g166)
12 He who has the Son has the life. He who does not have God's Son does not have the life.
Kun manu logote Jisu ase tai jibon paise. Kintu kun manu logote Isor laga Putro Jisu nai tai jibon panai.
13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have everlasting life. (aiōnios g166)
Moi tumikhan ke etu kotha khan likhi ase etu pora tumikhan anonto jibon ase koi kene janibo- tumikhan kun Isor laga Putro Jisu Khrista laga naam te biswas kore. (aiōnios g166)
14 This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us.
Aru, etu bharosa amikhan Isor logote ase koi kene jane, jodi Tai laga itcha hisab te amikhan mange, Tai amikhan ke hunibo.
15 And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.
Aru, jodi Isor amikhan ke hune koi kene jane- amikhan Tai logote ki mangibo- Tai logote moi khan ki mangise etu sob paise koi kene jane.
16 If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin not leading to death, he should ask, and he will give him life for those who sin not leading to death. There is a sin leading to death. I do not say that he should make a request concerning this.
Jodi kunba manu tai laga bhai ke paap kaam kori thaka dikhe aru etu pora mora nai koile, tai prathana kori bole lage, aru Isor pora taike jibon dibo. Moi eitu khan ke koi ase kun paap kori kene mora to dikha nai. Kunba paap to mora dikhi pai; Moi etu nimite prathana kori bole lage koi kene kowa nai.
17 All unrighteousness is sin, and there is a sin not leading to death.
Dharmik nathaka kaam khan sob paap ase, kintu kunba paap karone mora laga sajai nadiye.
18 We know that whoever is born of God does not sin, but he who was born of God protects him, and the evil one does not touch him.
Amikhan jane kun manu Isor pora jonom hoise tai paap nakore. Kintu tai ekjon kun Isor pora jonom hoise taike bachai kene rakhe, aru dusto atma pora taike dukh dibole na paribo.
19 We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.
Amikhan Isor pora ase koi kene jane, aru amikhan jane pura duniya to ekjon biya thaka laga sakti te ase.
20 We know that the Son of God has come, and has given us an understanding, that we know him who is true, and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
Kintu amikhan jane Isor laga Putro pora ahi kene amikhan ke gyaan dise, etu pora Tai hosa ase koi kene moi khan janibo. Aru, moi khan Tai logote ase kun hosa ase, Tai laga Putro Jisu Khrista. Etu ekjon hosa Isor aru anonto jibon ase. (aiōnios g166)
21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols.
Bacha khan, nijorke murti puja kora khan pora bachai kene thakibi.
