< Revelation 14 >

1 And I looked, and suddenly on Mount Tsehyun the Lamb standing, and with him one hundred forty-four thousand, having his name, and the name of his Father, written on their foreheads.
ⲁ̅ⲁⲓⲛⲁⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲓⲥ ⲟⲩϩⲓⲉⲓⲃ ⲉϥⲁϩⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ ϩⲓϫⲙ ⲡⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲥⲓⲱⲛ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲙⲛⲧⲁϥⲧⲉ ⲛⲧⲃⲁ ⲙⲛ ϥⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲛϣⲟ ⲉⲩⲛ ⲙⲙⲁϥ ⲉⲩⲛⲧⲁϥ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲣⲁⲛ ⲙⲛ ⲡⲣⲁⲛ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲉⲓⲱⲧ ⲉϥⲥⲏϩ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉϫⲛ ⲧⲉⲩⲧⲉϩⲛⲉ
2 I heard a sound from heaven, like the sound of many waters, and like the sound of a great thunder. The sound which I heard was like that of harpists playing on their harps.
ⲃ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲓⲥⲱⲧⲙ ⲉⲩⲥⲙⲏ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲧⲡⲉ ⲛⲑⲉ ⲙⲡⲉϩⲣⲟⲟⲩ ⲛϩⲉⲛⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲛⲁϣⲱⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲑⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲥⲙⲏ ⲛϩⲉⲛⲛⲟϭ ⲛϩⲣⲟⲩⲃⲃⲁⲓ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲧⲉⲥⲙⲏ ⲛⲧⲁⲓⲥⲱⲧⲙ ⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲉⲥⲟ ⲛⲑⲉ ⲛϩⲉⲛⲕⲓⲑⲁⲣⲟⲇⲟⲥ ⲉⲩⲕⲓⲑⲁⲣⲓⲍⲉ ⲛⲛⲉⲩⲕⲓⲑⲁⲣⲁ
3 They sing a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the one hundred forty-four thousand, those who had been redeemed out of the earth.
ⲅ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲛⲟⲩϫⲱ ⲛⲃⲣⲣⲉ ⲙⲡⲙⲧⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡⲉⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲙⲛ ⲡⲙⲧⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲍⲱⲟⲛ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲉⲡⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉⲙⲛϣϭⲟⲙ ⲛⲗⲁⲁⲩ ⲉⲉⲓⲙⲉ ⲧⲱⲇⲏ ⲉⲓⲙⲏⲧⲉⲓ ⲡⲙⲛⲧⲁϥⲧⲉ ⲛⲧⲃⲁ ⲙⲛ ⲡⲉϥⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲛϣⲟ ⲛⲉⲛⲧⲁⲩϣⲟⲟⲡⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙ ⲡⲕⲁϩ
4 These are those who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are those who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed from among humanity, the first fruits to God and to the Lamb.
ⲇ̅ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲡⲟⲩⲧⲱⲗⲙ ⲙⲛ ⲥϩⲓⲙⲉ ⲉϩⲉⲛⲡⲁⲣⲑⲉⲛⲟⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲙⲟⲟϣⲉ ⲙⲛ ⲡⲉϩⲓⲉⲓⲃ ⲉⲡⲙⲁ ⲉⲧⲉϥⲛⲁⲉⲓ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲧⲁⲩϣⲟⲡⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲁⲡⲁⲣⲭⲏ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲙⲛ ⲡⲉϩⲓⲉⲓⲃ
5 In their mouth was found no lie; they are blameless.
ⲉ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲙⲡⲟⲩϩⲉ ⲉϭⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲧⲉⲩⲧⲁⲡⲣⲟ ϩⲉⲛⲁⲧⲛⲟⲃⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲉ
6 I saw another angel flying in mid heaven, having an everlasting Good News to proclaim to those who dwell on the earth, and to every nation, tribe, language, and people. (aiōnios g166)
ⲋ̅ⲁⲓⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲩⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲉϥϩⲏⲗ ϩⲛ ⲧⲙⲏⲏⲧⲉ ⲛⲧⲡⲉ ⲉⲟⲩⲛ ⲟⲩⲉⲩⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲓⲟⲛ ⲛⲧⲟⲟⲧϥ ⲛϣⲁ ⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲉⲧⲁϣⲉⲟⲉⲓϣ ⲛⲛⲉⲧϩⲙⲟⲟⲥ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉϫⲙ ⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉϫⲛ ⲛϩⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲛⲓⲙ ϩⲓ ⲫⲩⲗⲏ ϩⲓ ⲁⲥⲡⲉ ϩⲓ ⲗⲁⲟⲥ (aiōnios g166)
7 He said with a loud voice, "Fear God, and give him glory; for the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and the springs of waters."
ⲍ̅ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩⲛⲟϭ ⲛⲥⲙⲏ ϫⲉ ⲁⲣⲓ ϩⲟⲧⲉ ϩⲏⲧϥ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲛϯ ⲉⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲥⲉⲓ ⲛϭⲓ ⲧⲉⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲕⲣⲓⲥⲓⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲧⲉⲧⲛⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ ⲙⲡⲉⲛⲧⲁϥⲧⲁⲙⲓⲉ ⲧⲡⲉ ⲙⲛ ⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲙⲛ ⲑⲁⲗⲁⲥⲥⲁ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲡⲏⲅⲏ ⲛⲙⲙⲟⲟⲩ
8 Another, a second angel, followed, saying, "Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, which has made all the nations to drink of the wine of the wrath of her sexual immorality."
ⲏ̅ⲁⲕⲉⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲙⲙⲉϩⲥⲛⲁⲩ ⲟⲩⲁϩϥ ⲛⲥⲱϥ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲥϩⲉ ⲁⲥϩⲉ ⲛϭⲓ ⲧⲛⲟϭ ⲛⲃⲁⲃⲩⲗⲱⲛ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲛϩⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ϩⲉ ϩⲙ ⲡⲏⲣⲡ ⲙⲡϭⲱⲛⲧ ⲛⲧⲉⲥⲡⲟⲣⲛⲓⲁ
9 Another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a great voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead, or on his hand,
ⲑ̅ⲁⲕⲉⲙⲉϩϣⲟⲙⲛⲧ ⲛⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲁϩϥ ⲛⲥⲱⲟⲩ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩⲛⲟϭ ⲛⲥⲙⲏ ϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲛⲁⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ ⲙⲡⲉⲑⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲏ ⲧⲉϥϩⲓⲕⲱⲛ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉϥϫⲓ ⲛⲉϥⲥϩⲁⲓ ⲉϫⲛ ⲧⲉϥⲧⲉϩⲛⲉ ⲏ ⲉϫⲛ ⲧⲉϥϭⲓϫ
10 he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is prepared unmixed in the cup of his anger. He will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb.
ⲓ̅ⲛⲧⲟϥ ϩⲱϥ ⲟⲛ ϥⲛⲁⲥⲱ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙ ⲡⲏⲣⲡ ⲙⲡϭⲱⲛⲧ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲕⲉⲣⲁ ⲛⲁⲕⲣⲁⲧⲟⲛ ϩⲙ ⲡϫⲱ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲟⲣⲅⲏ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲃⲁⲥⲁⲛⲓⲍⲉ ⲙⲙⲟⲟⲩ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩⲕⲱϩⲧ ⲙⲛ ⲟⲩⲑⲏⲛ ⲙⲡⲙⲧⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲛⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲁⲁⲃ ⲙⲡⲙⲧⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡⲉϩⲓⲉⲓⲃ
11 The smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever. They have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name. (aiōn g165)
ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲕⲁⲡⲛⲟⲥ ⲛⲧⲉⲩⲃⲁⲥⲁⲛⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϫⲓⲥⲉ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ϣⲁ ⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲛⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲛⲥⲉⲧⲙϫⲓ ⲙⲧⲟⲛ ⲙⲡⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲙⲛ ⲧⲉⲩϣⲏ ⲛϭⲓ ⲛⲉⲧⲛⲁⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ ⲙⲡⲉⲑⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲙⲛ ⲧⲉϥϩⲓⲕⲱⲛ ⲙⲛ ⲡⲉⲧⲛⲁϫⲓ ⲙⲡⲙⲁⲉⲓⲛ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲣⲁⲛ (aiōn g165)
12 Here is the patience of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Yeshua."
ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ⲡⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲙⲁ ⲛⲑⲩⲡⲟⲙⲟⲛⲏ ⲛⲛⲉⲧⲟⲩⲁⲁⲃ ⲛⲉⲧϩⲁⲣⲉϩ ⲉⲛⲉⲛⲧⲟⲗⲏ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲙⲛ ⲧⲡⲓⲥⲧⲓⲥ ⲛⲓⲥ
13 I heard the voice from heaven saying, "Write, 'Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.'" "Yes," says the Rukha, "that they may rest from their labors; for their works follow with them."
ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ⲁⲓⲥⲱⲧⲙ ⲉⲩⲥⲙⲏ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲧⲡⲉ ⲉⲥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲥϩⲁⲓ ϫⲉ ⲛⲁⲓⲁⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲛⲉⲧⲛⲁⲙⲟⲩ ϫⲓⲛ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩ ϩⲙ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲥⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛϭⲓ ⲡⲉⲡⲛⲁ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲉⲩⲉⲙⲧⲟⲛ ⲙⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲛⲉⲩϩⲓⲥⲉ ⲛⲉⲩϩⲃⲏⲩⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲁⲟⲩⲁϩⲟⲩ ⲛⲥⲱⲟⲩ
14 And I looked, and suddenly there was a white cloud, and on the cloud one sitting like a son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.
ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ⲁⲓⲛⲁⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲓⲥ ⲟⲩⲕⲗⲟⲟⲗⲉ ⲉⲥⲟⲩⲟⲃϣ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉϥϩⲙⲟⲟⲥ ϩⲓϫⲛ ⲧⲉⲕⲗⲟⲟⲗⲉ ⲛϭⲓ ⲡⲉⲓⲛⲉ ⲛⲟⲩϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲉⲟⲩⲛ ⲟⲩⲕⲗⲟⲙ ⲛⲛⲟⲩⲃ ϩⲓϫⲛ ⲧⲉϥⲁⲡⲏ ⲉⲩⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩⲥ ⲉϥⲧⲏⲙ ϩⲛ ⲧⲉϥϭⲓϫ
15 Another angel came out from the temple, crying with a loud voice to him who sat on the cloud, "Send forth your sickle, and reap; for the hour to reap has come; for the harvest of the earth is ripe."
ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲕⲉⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲁϥⲉⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙ ⲡⲣⲡⲉ ⲉϥⲁϣⲕⲁⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩⲛⲟϭ ⲛⲥⲙⲏ ⲉⲡⲧϩⲙⲟⲟⲥ ⲉϫⲛ ⲧⲉⲕⲗⲟⲟⲗⲉ ϫⲉ ⲙⲁϫⲟⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲉⲕⲟϩⲥ ⲛⲅⲱϩⲥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲥⲉⲓ ⲛϭⲓ ⲧⲉⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲱϩⲥ ϫⲉ ⲁϥϣⲟⲟⲩⲉ ⲛϭⲓ ⲡⲱϩⲥ ⲙⲡⲕⲁϩ
16 He who sat on the cloud thrust his sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped.
ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥⲛⲟⲩϫ ⲛϭⲓ ⲡⲉⲧϩⲙⲟⲟⲥ ⲉϫⲛ ⲧⲉⲕⲗⲟⲟⲗⲉ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲟϩⲥ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉϫⲙ ⲡⲕⲁϩ
17 Another angel came out from the temple which is in heaven. He also had a sharp sickle.
ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ⲁⲕⲉⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲉⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙ ⲡⲣⲡⲉ ⲉⲧϩⲛ ⲧⲙⲏⲧⲉ ⲉⲩⲛ ⲟⲩϩⲁⲗⲕⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲟⲟⲧϥ ⲉⲥⲧⲏⲙ
18 Another angel came out from the altar, he who has power over fire, and he called with a loud voice to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, "Send forth your sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for its grapes are fully ripe."
ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ⲁⲕⲉⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲉⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙ ⲡⲉⲑⲩⲥⲓⲁⲥⲧⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲉⲩⲛⲧⲁϥ ⲧⲉⲝⲟⲩⲥⲓⲁ ⲙⲡⲕⲱϩⲧ ⲁϥⲙⲟⲩⲧⲉ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩⲛⲟϭ ⲛⲥⲙⲏ ⲉⲡⲉⲧⲉⲣⲉⲑⲁⲗⲕⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲟⲟⲧϥ ⲉⲥⲧⲏⲙ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲙⲁϫⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉⲕϩⲁⲗⲕⲟⲩ ⲛⲅϫⲱⲱⲗⲉ ⲛⲛⲉⲥⲙⲁϩ ⲛⲧⲃⲱ ⲛⲉⲗⲟⲟⲗⲉ ⲙⲡⲕⲁϩ ϫⲉ ⲁⲩⲡⲱϩ ⲛϭⲓ ⲛⲉⲥⲉⲗⲟⲟⲗⲉ
19 The angel thrust his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vintage of the earth, and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲡⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲛⲟⲩϫ ⲛⲧⲉϥϩⲁⲗⲕⲟⲩ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉϫⲙ ⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲁϥϫⲱⲱⲗⲉ ⲛⲧⲃⲱ ⲛⲉⲗⲟⲟⲗⲉ ⲙⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲧⲉϩⲣⲱⲧ ⲛⲟϭ ⲙⲡϭⲱⲛⲧ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ
20 The winepress was trodden outside of the city, and blood came out from the winepress, even to the bridles of the horses, as far as one hundred eighty four miles.
