Mark 7
1 Then the Pharisees, and some of the scribes gathered together to him, having come from Urishlim.
ପରେ ଫାରୂଶୀମାନେ ଓ ଯିରୂଶାଲମ ସହରରୁ ଆସିଥିବା କେତେକ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ତାହାଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଏକତ୍ର ହେଲେ।
2 Now when they saw some of his disciples eating bread with defiled, that is, unwashed, hands, they found fault.
ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ କେତେକଙ୍କୁ ଅଶୁଚି, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ଅଧୁଆ ହାତରେ ଖାଇବା ଦେଖିଲେ।
3 (For the Pharisees, and all Jewish people, do not eat unless they wash their hands and forearms, holding to the Tradition of the Elders.
ଫାରୂଶୀମାନେ ଓ ସମସ୍ତ ଯିହୁଦୀ ଲୋକ ପ୍ରାଚୀନମାନଙ୍କ ପରମ୍ପରାଗତ ରୀତିନୀତି ପାଳନ କରି ଭଲ ରୂପେ ହାତ ନ ଧୋଇଲେ ଭୋଜନ କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।
4 They do not eat when they come from the marketplace unless they wash. And there are many other things which they have received and hold to, the washing of cups and pitchers and copper vessels and dining couches.)
ପୁଣି, ହାଟବଜାରରୁ ଆସି ନିଜେ ଧୋଇ ନ ହେବା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଖାଆନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ; ଆଉ, ଗିନା, ଢାଳ ଓ ପିତଳ ପାତ୍ରଗୁଡ଼ିକ ପାଣିରେ ବୁଡ଼ାଇ ଧୋଇବା ଇତ୍ୟାଦି ଅନ୍ୟାନ୍ୟ ଅନେକ ରୀତିନୀତି ପାଳନ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସେମାନେ ଆଦେଶପ୍ରାପ୍ତ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।
5 The Pharisees and the scribes asked him, "Why do your disciples not walk according to the Tradition of the Elders, but eat their bread with unwashed hands?"
ଏଣୁ ଫାରୂଶୀମାନେ ଓ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପଚାରିଲେ, ଆପଣଙ୍କର ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନେ ପ୍ରାଚୀନମାନଙ୍କର ପରମ୍ପରାଗତ ରୀତିନୀତି ଅନୁସାରେ କାହିଁକି ଆଚରଣ ନ କରି ଅଶୁଚି ହସ୍ତରେ ଭୋଜନ କରନ୍ତି?
6 He said to them, "Well did Eshaya prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written, 'This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ରେ କପଟୀମାନେ, ଯିଶାଇୟ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ଯଥାର୍ଥ ରୂପେ ଭାବବାଣୀ କହିଅଛନ୍ତି, ଯେପରି ଲେଖାଅଛି, ‘ଏହି ଜାତି ମୁଖରେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ସମାଦର କରନ୍ତି, କିନ୍ତୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ହୃଦୟ ଆମ୍ଭଠାରୁ ଦୂରରେ ଥାଏ।
7 And in vain do they worship me, teaching instructions that are the commandments of humans.'
ସେମାନେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ବିଧିଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ଧର୍ମର ଉପଦେଶବାଣୀ ବୋଲି ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦେଇ ବୃଥାରେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଆରାଧନା କରନ୍ତି।’
8 "For you set aside the commandment of God, and hold tightly to human tradition."
ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞା ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କରି ମନୁଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ପରମ୍ପରାଗତ ରୀତିନୀତି ଧରି ବସିଅଛ।”
9 He said to them, "Full well do you reject the commandment of God, that you may establish your tradition.
ପୁଣି, ଯୀଶୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ପରମ୍ପରାଗତ ରୀତିନୀତି ପାଳନ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଅଧିକ ଅଗ୍ରାହ୍ୟ କରୁଅଛ!
10 For Mushe said, 'Honor your father and your mother;' and, 'Anyone who speaks evil of father or mother, let him be put to death.'
କାରଣ ମୋଶା କହିଅଛନ୍ତି, ‘ଆପଣା ପିତାମାତାଙ୍କୁ ସମାଦର କର, ଆଉ ଯେ କେହି ଆପଣା ପିତା କି ମାତାଙ୍କୁ ଅଭିଶାପ ଦିଏ, ସେ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ପ୍ରାଣଦଣ୍ଡ ଭୋଗ କରିବ।’
11 But you say, 'If anyone tells his father or mother, "Whatever profit you might have received from me is Corban, that is to say, given to God;"'
କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କୁହ, କେହି ଯେବେ ପିତା କି ମାତାକୁ କହେ, ମୋʼଠାରୁ, ଯାହା ଦ୍ୱାରା ତୁମ୍ଭର ଉପକାର ହୋଇଥାଆନ୍ତା, ତାହା ‘କର୍ବାନ୍’, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ସମର୍ପିତ ହୋଇଅଛି,
12 then you no longer allow him to do anything for his father or his mother,
ତେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତାହାକୁ ପିତା କି ମାତାର କିଛି ଉପକାର କରିବାକୁ ଆଉ ଦେଉ ନ ଥାଅ;
13 making void the word of God by your tradition, which you have handed down. You do many things like this."
ଏହି ରୂପେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସ୍ୱପ୍ରଚଳିତ ପରମ୍ପରାଗତ ରୀତିନୀତି ଯୋଗୁଁ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ୟ ବ୍ୟର୍ଥ କରୁଅଛ ଓ ସେହି ପ୍ରକାର ଅନେକ କର୍ମ କରୁଅଛ।”
14 And he called the crowd to himself again, and said to them, "Hear me, all of you, and understand.
ସେ ପୁନର୍ବାର ଲୋକସମୂହକୁ ନିକଟକୁ ଡାକି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସମସ୍ତେ ମୋʼ କଥା ଶୁଣ ଓ ବୁଝ।
15 There is nothing from outside of the person, that going into him can defile him; but the things which proceed out of the person are what defile the person."
ମନୁଷ୍ୟର ବାହାରେ ଏପରି କୌଣସି ବିଷୟ ନାହିଁ, ଯାହାକି ତାହାର ଭିତରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରି ତାହାକୁ ଅଶୁଚି କରିପାରେ, କିନ୍ତୁ ଯାହା ଯାହା ମନୁଷ୍ୟଠାରୁ ବାହାରେ, ସେହିସବୁ ତାହାକୁ ଅଶୁଚି କରେ।
[ଯଦି କାହାର ଶୁଣିବାକୁ କାନ ଅଛି, ସେ ଶୁଣୁ।]”
17 When he had entered into a house away from the crowd, his disciples asked him about the parable.
ଆଉ ସେ ଲୋକସମୂହଠାରୁ ଗୃହ ମଧ୍ୟକୁ ଆସିଲା ଉତ୍ତାରେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଦୃଷ୍ଟାନ୍ତଟିର ଭାବ ପଚାରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ।
18 He said to them, "Are you thus without understanding also? Do you not perceive that whatever goes into the person from outside cannot defile him,
ସେଥିରେ ଯୀଶୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ କଅଣ ସେହିପରି ଅବୋଧ? ଯାହା କିଛି ବାହାରୁ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଭିତରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରେ, ତାହା ତାହାକୁ ଅଶୁଚି କରିପାରେ ନାହିଁ,
19 because it does not go into his heart, but into his stomach, then into the latrine, cleansing all the foods?"
କାରଣ ତାହା ତାହାର ହୃଦୟରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରେ ନାହିଁ, ମାତ୍ର ଉଦରରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରି ଶୌଚ ଦ୍ୱାରା ବର୍ହିଗତ ହୁଏ ଓ ଏହି ପ୍ରକାରେ ସମସ୍ତ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ପରିଷ୍କୃତ ହୋଇଥାଏ, ଏହା କଅଣ ବୁଝୁ ନାହଁ?”
20 He said, "That which proceeds out of the man, that defiles the man.
ଆଉ ସେ କହିଲେ, “ଯାହା ମନୁଷ୍ୟଠାରୁ ବାହାରେ, ତାହା ହିଁ ତାହାକୁ ଅଶୁଚି କରେ।
21 For from within, out of a person's heart, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, sexual sins, murders, thefts,
କାରଣ ଭିତରୁ, ମନୁଷ୍ୟର ହୃଦୟରୁ, କୁଚିନ୍ତା ବାହାରେ,
22 covetings, wickedness, deceit, lustful desires, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, and foolishness.
ବେଶ୍ୟାଗମନ, ଚୋରି, ନରହତ୍ୟା, ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର, ଲୋଭ, ଦୁଷ୍ଟତା, ଶଠତା, କାମୁକତା, ଈର୍ଷାଦୃଷ୍ଟି, ନିନ୍ଦା, ଅହଙ୍କାର, ମୂର୍ଖତା;
23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man."
ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ମନ୍ଦ ବିଷୟ ଭିତରୁ ବାହାରି ମନୁଷ୍ୟକୁ ଅଶୁଚି କରେ।”
24 From there he arose, and went away into the region of Tsur and Tsaidan. He entered into a house, and did not want anyone to know it, but he could not escape notice.
ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ସେ ସେଠାରୁ ଉଠି ସୋର ସୀମାକୁ ଗଲେ, ଆଉ ଗୋଟିଏ ଗୃହରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରି, କେହି ଯେପରି ତାହା ନ ଜାଣେ, ଏହା ଇଚ୍ଛା କରୁଥିଲେ, ମାତ୍ର ସେ ଗୁପ୍ତ ହୋଇ ରହି ପାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ।
25 But immediately a woman whose young daughter had an unclean spirit heard of him and came and fell at his feet.
ସେହିକ୍ଷଣି ଜଣେ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ, ଯାହାର ଝିଅଟିକୁ ଅଶୁଚି ଆତ୍ମା ଲାଗିଥିଲା, ସେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ବିଷୟ ଶୁଣି ତାହାଙ୍କ ଚରଣ ତଳେ ଆସି ପଡ଼ିଲା।
26 Now the woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician by race. She begged him that he would cast the demon out of her daughter.
ସେ ସୁରଫୈନୀକୀୟା ଜାତିର ଜଣେ ଗ୍ରୀକ୍ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀଲୋକ ଥିଲା। ତାହାର ଝିଅଠାରୁ ଭୂତ ଛଡ଼ାଇବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଅନୁରୋଧ କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲା।
27 But he said to her, "Let the children be filled first, for it is not appropriate to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs."
ସେଥିରେ ସେ ତାହାକୁ କହିଲେ, “ପ୍ରଥମେ ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କୁ ତୃପ୍ତ ହେବାକୁ ଦିଅ, କାରଣ ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କ ଆହାର ନେଇ କୁକୁରମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖରେ ପକାଇବା ଉଚିତ୍ ନୁହେଁ।”
28 But she answered him, "Yes, Sir. Yet even the dogs under the table eat the children's crumbs."
କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲ, ହଁ, ପ୍ରଭୁ; କୁକୁରମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ମେଜ ତଳେ ପିଲାମାନଙ୍କ ଖାଦ୍ୟର ଗୁଣ୍ଡିଗୁଣ୍ଡା ଖାଆନ୍ତି।
29 He said to her, "For this saying, go your way. The demon has gone out of your daughter."
ସେଥିରେ ଯୀଶୁ ତାହାକୁ କହିଲେ, “ଏହି କଥା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯାଅ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ଝିଅଠାରୁ ଭୂତ ବାହାରିଗଲାଣି।”
30 And when she went away to her house, she found the child lying on the bed, the demon having left.
ପୁଣି, ସେ ଘରକୁ ଯାଇ ପିଲାଟି ଶଯ୍ୟାରେ ଶୋଇଥିବା ଓ ଭୂତ ବାହାରିଯାଇଥିବା ଦେଖିଲା।
31 Again he departed from the borders of Tsur, and came through Tsaidan to the lake of Galila, through the midst of the region of Decapolis.
ପୁନର୍ବାର ସେ ସୋର ସହରର ସୀମାରୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ଥାନ କରି ସୀଦୋନ ଓ ଦେକାପଲି ସହରର ସୀମା ମଧ୍ୟ ଦେଇ ଗାଲିଲୀ ସମୁଦ୍ର ନିକଟକୁ ଆସିଲେ।
32 They brought to him one who was deaf and had a speech difficulty, and they begged Yeshua to lay his hand on him.
ଆଉ ଲୋକେ ଜଣେ କାଲ ଓ ଖନାକୁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଆଣି ତାହା ଉପରେ ହାତ ଥୋଇବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ବିନତି କଲେ।
33 He took him aside from the crowd, privately, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spat, and touched his tongue.
ଯୀଶୁ ତାହାକୁ ଲୋକସମୂହ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଅନ୍ତର କରି ଏକାକୀ ଘେନିଯାଇ ତାହାର ଦୁଇ କାନରେ ଆପଣା ଅଙ୍ଗୁଳି ଦେଲେ ଓ ଛେପ ପକାଇ ତାହାର ଜିହ୍ୱାକୁ ଛୁଇଁଲେ,
34 Looking up to heaven, he sighed, and said to him, "Pethakh." that is, "Be opened."
ଆଉ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗ ଆଡ଼େ ଊର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ୱଦୃଷ୍ଟି କରି ଦୀର୍ଘ ନିଶ୍ୱାସ ପକାଇ ତାହାକୁ କହିଲେ, “ଇପ୍ପଥଃ,” ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ “ଫିଟିଯା।”
35 And his ears were opened, and the impediment of his tongue was released, and he spoke clearly.
ସେଥିରେ ତାହାର କର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଉନ୍ମୁକ୍ତ ହେଲା ଓ ଜିହ୍ୱାର ବନ୍ଧନ ସେହିକ୍ଷଣି ଫିଟିଗଲା, ଆଉ ସେ ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟ ରୂପେ କଥା କହିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲା।
36 He commanded them that they should tell no one, but the more he commanded them, so much the more widely they proclaimed it.
ପୁଣି, ଏ ବିଷୟ କାହାରିକୁ ନ କହିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦୃଢ଼ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଲେ; ମାତ୍ର ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯେତେ ନିଷେଧ କଲେ, ସେମାନେ ସେତେ ଆହୁରି ଅଧିକ ତାହା ଘୋଷଣା କଲେ।
37 They were astonished beyond measure, saying, "He has done all things well. He makes even the deaf hear, and the mute speak."
ଆଉ ଲୋକମାନେ ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟାନ୍ୱିତ ହୋଇ କହିଲେ, ସେ ସମସ୍ତ କର୍ମ ଉତ୍ତମ ରୂପେ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି; ସେ ବଧିରମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶୁଣିବା ଶକ୍ତି ଓ ମୂକମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିବା ଶକ୍ତି ସୁଦ୍ଧା ପ୍ରଦାନ କରନ୍ତି।
