Luke 3
1 Now in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, Pontius Pilate being governor of Yehuda, and Herod being tetrarch of Galila, and his brother Philipus tetrarch of the region of Ituraea and Trachona, and Lusania tetrarch of Avilina,

2 in the high priesthood of Khanan and Qayapha, the word of God came to Yukhanan, the son of Zekharya, in the wilderness.
ಅನ್ನನು ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಯಫನು ಮಹಾಯಾಜಕರು ಆಗಿದ್ದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ, ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಜಕರೀಯನ ಮಗ ಯೋಹಾನನಿಗೆ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವುಂಟಾಯಿತು.
3 He came into all the region around the Yurdinan, preaching a baptism of repentance for forgiveness of sins.
ಅವನು ಯೊರ್ದನ್ ನದಿಯ ಸುತ್ತಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸೀಮೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು, ಪಾಪಗಳ ಪರಿಹಾರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ದೇವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನ ಪಡೆಯುವದರ ಕುರಿತು ಸಾರಿ ಹೇಳಿದನು.
4 As it is written in the scroll of the words of Eshaya the prophet, "The voice of one crying in the wilderness, 'Prepare the way of the Lord. Make his roads straight.
ಇದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಯೆಶಾಯನ ಗ್ರಂಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಂಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಹೀಗೆಂದು ಬರೆದಿದೆ: “ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಗುವವನ ಸ್ವರವು, ‘ಕರ್ತದೇವರ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿರಿ, ಅವರ ದಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸರಾಗಮಾಡಿರಿ.
5 Every valley will be filled, and every mountain and hill will be made low, and the crooked will be made straight, and the rough ways smooth.
ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಹಳ್ಳಕೊಳ್ಳಗಳೂ ಭರ್ತಿಯಾಗಬೇಕು, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬೆಟ್ಟಗುಡ್ಡಗಳು ನೆಲಸಮವಾಗಬೇಕು; ಡೊಂಕಾದ ರಸ್ತೆಗಳು ನೆಟ್ಟಗಾಗಬೇಕು, ಮತ್ತು ಕೊರಕಲಾದ ದಾರಿಗಳು ಸರಾಗವಾಗಬೇಕು;
6 And all humanity will see the salvation of God.'"
ಮಾನವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ದೇವರ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಣುವರು.’”
7 He said therefore to the crowds who went out to be baptized by him, "You offspring of vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
ಆಗ ತನ್ನಿಂದ ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೊರಟು ಬಂದ ಜನಸಮೂಹಕ್ಕೆ, ಯೋಹಾನನು, “ಎಲೈ ಸರ್ಪಸಂತತಿಯವರೇ! ಮುಂದೆ ಬರುವ ಕೋಪಾಗ್ನಿಯಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸಿದವರು ಯಾರು?
8 Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and do not begin to say among yourselves, 'We have Avraham for our father;' for I tell you that God is able to raise up children to Avraham from these stones.
ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ದೇವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಫಲಗಳನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿರಿ. ‘ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ನಮಗೆ ತಂದೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ,’ ಎಂದು ನಿಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಕೊಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡಿರಿ. ಈ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ದೇವರು ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನಿಗೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸಲು ಶಕ್ತರೆಂದು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.
9 Even now the axe also lies at the root of the trees. Every tree therefore that does not bring forth good fruit is cut down, and thrown into the fire."
ಮರಗಳ ಬೇರಿಗೆ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಕೊಡಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದಿದೆ, ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಫಲವನ್ನು ಕೊಡದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಮರವನ್ನು ಕಡಿದು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಲಾಗುವುದು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
10 The crowds asked him, "What then must we do?"
ಆಗ ಜನರು, “ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ನಾವೇನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು.
11 He answered them, "He who has two coats, let him give to him who has none. He who has food, let him do likewise."
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೋಹಾನನು ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ, “ಎರಡು ಅಂಗಿಗಳಿದ್ದರೆ ಇಲ್ಲದವನಿಗೆ ಒಂದನ್ನು ಕೊಡಲಿ, ಆಹಾರವುಳ್ಳವನು ಇಲ್ಲದವನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
12 Tax collectors also came to be baptized, and they said to him, "Teacher, what must we do?"
ತರುವಾಯ ಸುಂಕದವರು ಸಹ ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬಂದು ಯೋಹಾನನಿಗೆ, “ಬೋಧಕರೇ, ನಾವೇನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು.
13 He said to them, "Collect no more than that which is appointed to you."
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೋಹಾನನು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ನಿಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚೇನೂ ವಸೂಲಿ ಮಾಡಬೇಡಿರಿ,” ಎಂದನು.
14 Soldiers also asked him, saying, "What about us? What must we do?" He said to them, "Extort from no one by violence, neither accuse anyone wrongfully. Be content with your wages."
ಅದರಂತೆಯೇ ಸೈನಿಕರು, “ನಾವೇನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೋಹಾನನು, “ಯಾರನ್ನೂ ಬೆದರಿಸಿ ಹಣ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡಿರಿ. ಯಾರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಸುಳ್ಳು ದೂರು ಹೇಳಬೇಡಿರಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಬಳದಲ್ಲಿ ತೃಪ್ತರಾಗಿರಿ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
15 As the people were in expectation, and all were wondering in their hearts concerning Yukhanan, whether perhaps he was the Meshikha,
ಆಗ ಜನರು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಿಗಾಗಿ ಎದುರುನೋಡುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಯೋಹಾನನೇ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಾಗಿರಬಹುದೋ ಏನೋ ಎಂದು ತಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆಲೋಚಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
16 Yukhanan answered them all, "I indeed baptize you with water, but he comes who is mightier than I, the strap of whose sandals I am not worthy to loosen. He will baptize you with the Rukha d'Qudsha and with fire,
ಯೋಹಾನನು ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ: “ನಾನಂತೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ನೀರಿನಿಂದ ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಆದರೆ ನನಗಿಂತ ಶಕ್ತರೊಬ್ಬರು ಬರುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಅವರ ಪಾದರಕ್ಷೆಗಳ ದಾರವನ್ನು ಬಿಚ್ಚುವ ಗುಲಾಮನಾಗಿರುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ನಾನು ಯೋಗ್ಯನಲ್ಲ. ಅವರು ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮನಿಂದಲೂ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡಿಸುವರು.
17 whose winnowing fork is in his hand, to clear his threshing floor, and to gather the wheat into his barn; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire."
ಮೊರವು ಅವರ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ, ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕಣವನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ ಗೋಧಿಯನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಕಣಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಿಸುವರು. ಆದರೆ ಹೊಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಲಾಗದ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಟ್ಟುಹಾಕುವರು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
18 Then with many other exhortations he preached good news to the people,
ಯೋಹಾನನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಅನೇಕ ರೀತಿಗಳಿಂದ ಜನರನ್ನು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಾರುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.
19 but Herod the tetrarch, being reproved by him for Herodia, his brother's wife, and for all the evil things which Herod had done,
ಚತುರಾಧಿಪತಿಯಾದ ಹೆರೋದನು, ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರ ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪನ ಹೆಂಡತಿ ಹೆರೋದ್ಯಳನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದನು ಮತ್ತು ಹೆರೋದನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಯೋಹಾನನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಹಿರಂಗವಾಗಿ ಗದರಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ,
20 added this also to them all, that he shut up Yukhanan in prison.
ಹೆರೋದನು ಯೋಹಾನನನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂಧಿಸಿ, ತನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತೊಂದನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿದ್ದನು.
21 Now it happened, when all the people were baptized, Yeshua also had been baptized, and was praying. The sky was opened,
ಜನರೆಲ್ಲಾ ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು, ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಸಹ ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವಲ್ಲಿ, ಸ್ವರ್ಗವು ತೆರೆಯಿತು.
22 and the Rukha d'Qudsha descended in a bodily form as a dove on him; and a voice came out of the sky, saying "You are my beloved Son. In you I am well pleased."
ಆಗ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮರು ದೇಹಾಕಾರವಾಗಿ ಪಾರಿವಾಳದಂತೆ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಳಿದರು. ಆಗ, “ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಿಯ ಪುತ್ರನು, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಪಾರವಾಗಿ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿದ್ದೇನೆ,” ಎಂಬ ಧ್ವನಿಯು ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಕೇಳಿಬಂತು.
23 When he began, Yeshua was about thirty years old, being the son, as was supposed, of Yauseph, of Heli,

ದಾವೀದನು ಇಷಯನ ಮಗನು, ಇಷಯನು ಓಬೇದನ ಮಗನು, ಓಬೇದನು ಬೋವಜನ ಮಗನು, ಬೋವಜನು ಸಲ್ಮೋನನ ಮಗನು, ಸಲ್ಮೋನನು ನಹಶೋನನ ಮಗನು,

ನಹೋರನು ಸೆರೂಗನ ಮಗನು, ಸೆರೂಗನು ರೆಗೂವನ ಮಗನು, ರೆಗೂವನು ಪೆಲೆಗನ ಮಗನು, ಪೆಲೆಗನು ಹೆಬೆರನ ಮಗನು, ಹೆಬೆರನು ಶೆಲಹ ಮಗನು,
36 of Qeynan, of Arphakshad, of Shim, of Nukh, of Lamek,
ಶೆಲಹ ಕಯಿನಾನನ ಮಗನು, ಕಯಿನಾನನು ಅರ್ಫಕ್ಷಾದನ ಮಗನು, ಅರ್ಫಕ್ಷಾದನು ಶೇಮನ ಮಗನು, ಶೇಮನು ನೋಹನ ಮಗನು, ನೋಹನು ಲಾಮೆಕನ ಮಗನು,

ಲಾಮೆಕನು ಮತೂಷಲನ ಮಗನು, ಮತೂಷಲನು ಹನೋಕನ ಮಗನು, ಹನೋಕನು ಯೆರೆದನ ಮಗನು, ಯೆರೆದನು ಮಹಲಲೇಲನ ಮಗನು, ಮಹಲಲೇಲನು ಕಯಿನಾನನ ಮಗನು,
