Daniel 11
1 "And as for me, in the first year of Daryavesh the Mede, I stood up to support and strengthen him.
੧ਦਾਰਾ ਮਾਦੀ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਸਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਖੜਾ ਸੀ, ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਪੱਕਾ ਕਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦੇਵਾਂ
2 And now what I show you is true. Look, there shall arise three more kings in Persia, and the fourth shall be far richer than all of them; and when he has grown strong through his riches, he shall stir up all the kingdom of Greece.
੨ਅਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸੱਚੀ ਗੱਲ ਦੱਸਾਂਗਾ। ਵੇਖ, ਫ਼ਾਰਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਿੰਨ ਰਾਜੇ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਉੱਠਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਚੌਥਾ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵਧੀਕ ਧਨੀ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਦ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਧੰਨ ਕਰਕੇ ਜ਼ੋਰਾਵਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਤਦ ਉਹ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੁੱਕੇਗਾ ਜੋ ਯੂਨਾਨ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨ।
3 And a powerful king shall arise, who shall rule an extensive empire, and do as he pleases.
੩ਪਰ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡਾ ਡਾਢਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਉੱਠੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਨਾਲ ਰਾਜ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਚਾਹੇਗਾ ਸੋਈ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
4 When he shall arise, his kingdom shall be broken up, and shall be divided toward the four winds of heaven, but not to his posterity, nor according to his authority with which he ruled; for his kingdom shall be uprooted, and will go to others besides these.
੪ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਉੱਠੇਗਾ ਤਦ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਰਾਜ ਟੁੱਟ ਪਏਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਦੀਆਂ ਚਾਰ ਪੌਣਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਵੰਡਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਪਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵੰਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਕੋਲ ਨਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਦੇ ਸਮਾਨ ਜਿਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ, ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਰਾਜ ਮੁੱਢੋਂ ਪੁੱਟਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਖਰੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
5 The king of the south shall grow strong, and one of his officers shall grow more powerful, and shall have a greater kingdom than his.
੫ਦੱਖਣ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਜਿੱਤ ਪਾਏਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸਰਦਾਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਵਧੀਕ ਜ਼ੋਰਾਵਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਪਾਏਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਰਾਜ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡਾ ਰਾਜ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
6 At the end of years they shall join themselves together; and the daughter of the king of the south shall come to the king of the north to make an agreement: but she shall not retain her power; neither shall his strength endure; but she shall be surrendered, and her attendants, and he who became the father of her, and he who supported her in those times.
੬ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਉਹ ਆਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੇਲ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਦੱਖਣ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਵੇਗੀ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਏਕਤਾ ਕਰੇ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਾਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਰੱਖੇਗੀ, ਉਹ ਵੀ ਨਾ ਖੜਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਬਾਂਹ, ਸਗੋਂ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਆਏ ਸਨ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਸਣੇ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿਉ ਸਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਣੇ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਏਗੀ।
7 But out of a shoot from her roots shall arise in his place, who shall come against the army, and shall enter into the fortress of the king of the north, and shall deal against them, and shall prevail.
੭ਪਰ ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਜੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦੀ ਟਹਿਣੀ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਥਾਂ ਉੱਠੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨਾਲ ਆਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੜੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਵੇਗਾ।
8 Also their gods, with their molten images, and with their precious vessels of silver and of gold, shall he carry captive into Egypt; and he shall withdraw for some years from the king of the north.
੮ਉਹ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਢਾਲੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਮੂਰਤਾਂ ਸਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੋਨੇ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਦੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਭਾਂਡਿਆਂ ਸਣੇ ਕੈਦ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਈਆਂ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਉਹ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਛੇੜਨ ਤੋਂ ਰਹੇਗਾ।
9 And he shall come into the realm of the king of the south, but he shall return into his own land.
੯ਫਿਰ ਉਹ ਦੱਖਣ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੜੇਗਾ ਪਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁੜ ਆਵੇਗਾ।
10 And his sons shall wage war, and shall assemble a multitude of great forces, which shall advance and overflow and pass through, and they shall return and wage war, as far as his fortress.
੧੦ਉਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਭੀੜ ਵਾਲੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਇਕੱਠੀ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਵਗੀ ਆਏਗੀ, ਫੈਲੇਗੀ ਤੇ ਲੰਘੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਮੁੜਨਗੇ ਤੇ ਇਹ ਦੇ ਕੋਟ ਤੋੜੀ ਲੜਨਗੇ
11 The king of the south shall be moved with rage and shall come forth and fight against him, even with the king of the north; and he shall raise a great multitude, and the multitude shall be given into his hand.
੧੧ਅਤੇ ਦੱਖਣ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦਾ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਜਾਗੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਨਿੱਕਲ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ, ਹਾਂ, ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਾਈ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਡਾ ਦਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਵੱਡਾ ਦਲ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
12 The multitude shall be taken away, and his heart shall be exalted; and he shall cast down tens of thousands, but he shall not prevail.
੧੨ਭੀੜ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਜਾਏਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦਸ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਡੇਗੇਗਾ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਨਾ ਜਿੱਤੇਗਾ।
13 The king of the north shall return, and shall raise a multitude greater than the former; and he shall advance after some years with a great army and with abundant supplies.
੧੩ਉਹ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਮੁੜੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਦਲ ਨੂੰ ਜੋ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਡਾਢਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਇਕੱਠਿਆਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਈਆਂ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਅਤੇ ਢੇਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਾਲ ਸਣੇ ਆਵੇਗਾ।
14 And in those times many shall rise up against the king of the south: also the violent ones among your people shall rise up in confirmation of the vision; but they shall fail.
੧੪ਉਹਨੀਂ ਦਿਨੀਂ ਬਥੇਰੇ ਦੱਖਣ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਉੱਠ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਧਾੜਵੀ ਵੀ ਉੱਠਣਗੇ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਦਰਸ਼ਣ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਡਿੱਗ ਪੈਣਗੇ।
15 So the king of the north shall come, and build up a siege mound and take a well-fortified city. And the forces of the south shall not prevail, neither his best troops, neither shall there be any strength to resist.
੧੫ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਆਵੇਗਾ, ਦਮਦਮਾ ਬਣਾਵੇਗਾ, ਪੱਕੇ-ਪੱਕੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਲਵੇਗਾ, ਦੱਖਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਾਹਾਂ ਨਾ ਅੜਨਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਚੁਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੜਨ ਦਾ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
16 But he who comes against him shall do as he pleases, and no one shall be able to withstand him. And he shall stand in the beautiful land, and destruction will be within his power.
੧੬ਉਹ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਆਵੇਗਾ ਸੋ ਆਪਣੀ ਇੱਛਿਆ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਕੰਮ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕੋਈ ਨਾ ਕਰ ਸਕੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪਵਾਨ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੜਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾਸ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
17 He shall set his face to come with the strength of his whole kingdom, and will reach an agreement with him which he shall put into effect. And he shall give him a daughter of women to send destruction on him; but it will not last or be to his advantage.
੧੭ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਨਾਲ ਆਉਣ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੁਹਾਣਾ ਮੋੜੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਹੀ ਸ਼ਰਤਾਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੀਵੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਭਈ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਗਾੜੇ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਨਾ ਤਾਂ ਖਲੋਵੇਗੀ ਨਾ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
18 After this shall he turn his face to the coastal regions, and shall capture many. But a commander shall bring his insolence to an end. In addition, he shall repay him for his insolence.
੧੮ਉਹ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਉਹ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਟਾਪੂਆਂ ਵੱਲ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਲਵੇਗਾ ਪਰ ਇੱਕ ਪਰਧਾਨ ਉਸ ਉਲਾਂਭੇ ਨੂੰ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ ਹਟਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ, ਸਗੋਂ ਉਸ ਉਲਾਂਭੇ ਨੂੰ ਉਸੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਫੇਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।
19 Then he shall turn his attention toward the fortresses of his own land, but he shall stumble and fall, and shall not be found again.
੧੯ਤਦ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੇਸ ਦੇ ਕੋਟਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਮੂੰਹ ਮੋੜੇਗਾ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਟੱਕਰ ਖਾਏਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਡਿੱਗ ਪਏਗਾ, ਫਿਰ ਉਹ ਲੱਭਿਆ ਨਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
20 Then shall arise in his place one who shall send an exactor of tribute to pass through the kingdom to maintain its glory; but within few days he shall be destroyed, though not in anger nor in battle.
੨੦ਉਹ ਦੇ ਥਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਉੱਠੇਗਾ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਚੁੰਗੀ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਜੇਗਾ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਥੋੜ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਨਾ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ, ਨਾ ਹੀ ਲੜਾਈ ਨਾਲ।
21 In his place shall arise a despicable person, to whom the honor of kingship had not been given, but he shall come in a time of prosperity, and shall obtain the kingdom through deceit.
੨੧ਫਿਰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਥਾਂ ਇੱਕ ਪਖੰਡੀ ਉੱਠੇਗਾ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੀ ਪਤ ਨਾ ਦੇਣਗੇ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਬਚਾਓ ਦੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਆਵੇਗਾ ਲੱਲੋ-ਪੱਤੋ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਰਾਜ ਲੈ ਲਵੇਗਾ।
22 And large armies shall be swept away and shattered before him, as well as the prince of the covenant.
੨੨ਦਬਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਦਬਾਈ ਜਾਏਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਤੋੜੀ ਜਾਏਗੀ, ਹਾਂ, ਨੇਮ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਜ਼ਾਦਾ ਵੀ ਨਾਲੇ ਹੀ
23 And after an alliance is made with him he shall work deceitfully; for he shall become strong with a small force.
੨੩ਅਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਤਕਰਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਅੱਗੋਂ ਢੁੱਚਰ ਡਾਹੇਗਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਥੋੜੇ ਜਿਹੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਵੱਡਾ ਬਣੇਗਾ।
24 In a time of prosperity he shall come even on the richest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor their fathers; he shall distribute among them plunder, and spoil, and property. He shall devise plans against their strongholds, but only for a time.
੨੪ਉਹ ਬਚਾਉ ਦੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਚੰਗਿਆਂ ਉੱਜਲਿਆਂ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੜੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕੁਝ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਜੋ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦਾਦਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਪੜਦਾਦਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਹ ਲੁੱਟ ਪੁੱਟ ਦੇ ਮਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੰਡੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਚਿਰ ਤੱਕ ਪੱਕੀਆਂ ਕੋਟਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਚਤਰਾਈਆਂ ਵਰਤੇਗਾ।
25 And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south shall wage war in battle with an extremely large and powerful army; but he shall not stand; for they shall devise plans against him.
੨੫ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੌਂਸਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਚੁੱਕੇਗਾ ਜੋ ਵੱਡੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਦੱਖਣ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹੇ ਅਤੇ ਦੱਖਣ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਵੀ ਅੱਤ ਵੱਡੀ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰਾਵਰ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨਾਲ ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੜੇਗਾ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਨਾ ਠਹਿਰੇਗਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਉਪਾਅ ਕਰਨਗੇ।
26 Yes, those who eat of his royal food shall seek to destroy him, and his army shall be swept away; and many shall fall slain.
੨੬ਹਾਂ, ਓਹੋ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸੁਆਦਲੀ ਰੋਟੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਖਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਹੋ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਸ ਕਰ ਸੁੱਟਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਆਫ਼ਰੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਢੇਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
27 As for both these kings, their minds shall be fixed on evil, and they shall speak lies at the table; but it shall not succeed; for still the end shall be at the appointed time.
੨੭ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਬੁਰੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਇੱਕੋ ਪੰਗਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਠ ਕੇ ਝੂਠ ਬੋਲਣਗੇ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਫਲੇਗਾ ਨਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਅੰਤ ਠਹਿਰਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਵੇਲੇ ਸਿਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
28 Then shall he return into his land with great property; and his mind shall be against the holy covenant. And he shall take action, and then return to his own land.
੨੮ਤਦ ਉਹ ਵੱਡੇ ਧੰਨ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁੜ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਨੇਮ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣਾ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁੜੇਗਾ।
29 At the appointed time he shall return, and come into the south; but this time the outcome shall not be as it was before.
੨੯ਠਹਿਰਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਵੇਲੇ ਸਿਰ ਉਹ ਮੁੜੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਦੱਖਣ ਵੱਲ ਆਵੇਗਾ ਪਰ ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹਾਲ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸੀ।
30 For ships from Kittim shall come against him; therefore he shall be intimidated, and shall turn back, and be enraged against the holy covenant, and shall take action. He shall turn back, and show regard to those who forsake the holy covenant.
੩੦ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਕਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਸੋ ਉਹ ਉਦਾਸ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੁੜੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਨੇਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਜਾਗੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸੇ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਉਹ ਕੰਮ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਸਗੋਂ ਉਹ ਮੁੜੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਨੇਮ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਲ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
31 Forces shall come at his order, and they shall profane the sanctuary and the fortress, and shall take away the daily burnt offering, and they shall set up the abomination that causes desolation.
੩੧ਜੱਥੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਵਲੋਂ ਉੱਠਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਥਾਂ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਕੋਟ ਨੂੰ ਭਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਦੀ ਹੋਮ ਦੀ ਬਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਹਟਾਉਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਗਾੜਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਘਿਣਾਉਣੀ ਵਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖ ਦੇਣਗੇ।
32 And those who act wickedly toward the covenant he shall corrupt by smooth words; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and take action.
੩੨ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਨੇਮ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਭੈੜੀ ਕਰਤੂਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਲੱਲੋ-ਪੱਤੋ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਵਿਗਾੜੇਗਾ ਪਰ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਲੋਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਛਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨਗੇ
33 And those who are wise among the people shall instruct many; yet they shall fall by the sword and by flame, by captivity and by plunder for some time.
੩੩ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਜੋ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਨ ਹਨ ਕਈਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਖਾਉਣਗੇ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਗ ਨਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਕੈਦ ਹੋਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਲੁੱਟੇ ਜਾਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਢੇਰ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਤਬਾਹ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ।
34 Now when they shall fall, they shall receive a little help. And many shall join with them insincerely.
੩੪ਜਦ ਉਹ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਤਦ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਥੋੜੀ ਜਿਹੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਪਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੱਲੋ-ਪੱਤੋ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਰਲ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
35 Some of those who are wise shall fall, to be refined, purified and cleansed until the time of the end; for the appointed time is still to come.
੩੫ਕਈ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਨ ਵੀ ਡਿੱਗ ਪੈਣਗੇ ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਪਰਤਾਏ ਜਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਫ਼ਾ ਅਤੇ ਚਿੱਟੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਣ ਐਥੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਜੋ ਆਖਰੀ ਸਮਾਂ ਆਵੇ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਇਹ ਵੇਲੇ ਸਿਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਠਹਿਰਾਈ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।
36 And the king shall do as he pleases. And he shall exalt and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak outrageous things against the God of gods. And he shall prosper until the indignation is accomplished; for that which is decreed shall be done.
੩੬ਰਾਜਾ ਆਪਣੀ ਇੱਛਿਆ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਕੰਮ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਚਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਜਾਣੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਈਸ਼ਵਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਢੇਰ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਅਚਰਜ਼ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਗਵਾਨ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਐਥੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਜੋ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਪੂਰੇ ਹੋਣ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਜੋ ਠਹਿਰਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਸੋ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
37 Neither shall he regard the gods of his fathers, nor the one desired by women, nor show regard to any other god, because he shall magnify himself above all.
੩੭ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਵੱਲ ਕੁਝ ਲੋੜ ਨਾ ਰੱਖੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਦੀ, ਨਾ ਹੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨੇਗਾ ਸਗੋਂ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਜਾਣੇਗਾ।
38 But instead he shall honor the god of fortresses; a god whom his fathers did not know shall he honor with gold and silver, and with valuable stones, and costly gifts.
੩੮ਪਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਕੋਟਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਓਤੇ ਦਾ ਆਦਰ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਦਾ ਜਿਹ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿਉ-ਦਾਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸਨ ਸੋਨੇ, ਚਾਂਦੀ, ਬਹੁਮੁੱਲੇ ਪੱਥਰ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਆਦ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਆਦਰ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
39 And he shall deal with the strongest fortresses with the help of a foreign god. Whoever acknowledges him he shall grant considerable honor; and he shall make them rulers over many, and shall divide the land for a price.
੩੯ਉਹ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਪੱਕੀਆਂ ਕੋਟਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਪਰਾਏ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਮ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮੰਨਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਵੱਡਾ ਆਦਰ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਈਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਬਣਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੁੱਲ ਲਈ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੰਡੇਗਾ।
40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south attack him. And the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall invade countries, and pass through like a flood.
੪੦ਅਤੇ ਅਖ਼ੀਰ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੱਖਣ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਧੱਕ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਰੱਥ ਅਤੇ ਘੋੜ ਚੜ੍ਹੇ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤੇ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਵਾਵਰੋਲੇ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇਸਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੜੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਫ਼ਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਲੰਘੇਗਾ।
41 He shall enter also into the beautiful land, and many countries shall be overthrown; but these shall be delivered out of his hand: Edom, and Moab, and the foremost of the sons of Ammon.
੪੧ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪਵਾਨ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਵੜੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਢਾਹੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਪਰ ਅਦੋਮ ਅਤੇ ਮੋਆਬ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਮੋਨੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹੱਥੋਂ ਬਚ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
42 He shall reach out his hand also on other countries, and the land of Egypt shall not escape.
੪੨ਉਹ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੱਥ ਦੇਸਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਚਲਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇਸ ਵੀ ਛੁਟਕਾਰਾ ਨਾ ਪਾਏਗਾ।
43 But he shall have control over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the riches of Egypt; and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his feet.
੪੩ਪਰ ਉਹ ਸੋਨੇ, ਚਾਂਦੀ ਦੇ ਖਜ਼ਾਨਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇਸ ਦਿਆਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਰੱਖੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਲੂਬੀ ਅਤੇ ਕੂਸ਼ੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਗਰ ਲੱਗਣਗੇ।
44 But news out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him; and he shall go out with tremendous rage to destroy and utterly sweep away many.
੪੪ਪਰ ਚੜ੍ਹਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਵੱਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਖ਼ਬਰਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਘਬਰਾਉਣਗੀਆਂ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਵੱਡੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਨਿੱਕਲੇਗਾ ਜੋ ਬਹੁਤਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ ਕਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੂਲੋਂ ਮਿਟਾ ਸੁੱਟੇ।
45 And he shall pitch his royal tents between the sea and the beautiful holy mountain. Yet he shall come to his end, with no one to help him.
੪੫ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਡੇਰੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪਵਾਨ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪਰਬਤ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਲਵੇਗਾ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਅੰਤ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਜ ਪਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਕੋਈ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
