< 1 Corinthians 15 >

1 Now I declare to you, brothers, the Good News which I preached to you, which also you received, in which you also stand,
ⲁ̅ϯⲧⲁⲙⲟ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲛ ⲛⲁⲥⲛⲏⲩ ⲉⲡⲁⲉⲩⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲓⲟⲛ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲉⲛⲧⲁⲓⲉⲩⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲓⲍⲉ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲛⲏⲧⲛ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲟⲛ ⲉⲛⲧⲁⲧⲉⲧⲛϫⲓⲧϥ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲟⲛ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛⲁϩⲉⲣⲁⲧ ⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ ⲛϩⲏⲧϥ
2 by which also you are saved, if you hold firmly the word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.
ⲃ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲟⲛ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛⲁⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲟⲧϥ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩ ⲡⲉ ⲡϣⲁϫⲉ ⲉⲛⲧⲁⲓⲉⲩⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲓⲍⲉ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲛⲏⲧⲛ ⲉϣϫⲉ ⲧⲉⲧⲛⲁⲙⲁϩⲧⲉ ϩⲓⲃⲟⲗ ⲉϣϫⲉ ⲉⲓⲕⲏ ⲁⲛ ⲁⲧⲉⲧⲛⲡⲓⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ
3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Meshikha died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
ⲅ̅ⲁⲓϯ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲏⲧⲛ ⲛϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲙⲡⲉⲛⲧⲁⲓϫⲓⲧϥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲭⲥ ⲁϥⲙⲟⲩ ϩⲁ ⲛⲉⲛⲛⲟⲃⲉ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲛⲉⲅⲣⲁⲫⲏ
4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,
ⲇ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ϫⲉ ⲁⲩⲧⲟⲙⲥϥ ⲁⲩⲱ ϫⲉ ⲁϥⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ϩⲙ ⲡⲙⲉϩϣⲟⲙⲛⲧ ⲛϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲛⲉⲅⲣⲁⲫⲏ
5 and that he appeared to Kipha, then to the twelve.
ⲉ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ϫⲉ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲕⲏⲫⲁ ⲉⲓⲧⲁ ⲙⲡⲙⲛⲧⲥⲛⲟⲟⲩⲥ
6 After that he appeared to over five hundred brothers at once, most of whom remain until now, but some have also fallen asleep.
ⲋ̅ⲙⲛⲛⲥⲱⲥ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛϩⲟⲩⲟ ⲉϯⲟⲩ ⲛϣⲉ ⲛⲥⲟⲛ ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲟⲡ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲧ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲣⲉⲡⲉⲩϩⲟⲩⲟ ϣⲟⲟⲡ ϣⲁ ⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩ ϩⲟⲓⲛⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲛⲕⲟⲧⲕ
7 After that he appeared to Yaquv, then to all the apostles,
ⲍ̅ⲙⲛⲛⲥⲱⲥ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲓⲁⲕⲱⲃⲟⲥ ⲉⲓⲧⲁ ⲛⲁⲡⲟⲥⲧⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ
8 and last of all, as to the child born at the wrong time, he appeared to me also.
ⲏ̅ⲛϩⲁⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲛⲑⲉ ⲛⲟⲩϩⲟⲩϩⲉ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ϩⲱ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ
9 For I am the least of the apostles, who is not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
ⲑ̅ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲉⲗⲁⲭⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲛⲁⲡⲟⲥⲧⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲉⲛϯⲙⲡϣⲁ ⲁⲛ ⲙⲙⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲣⲟⲓ ϫⲉ ⲁⲡⲟⲥⲧⲟⲗⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲓⲇⲓⲱⲕⲉ ⲛⲥ ⲁⲧⲉⲕⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ
10 But by the grace of God I am what I am. His grace which was bestowed on me was not futile, but I worked more than all of them; yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
ⲓ̅ⲑⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉϯⲟ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲉⲓⲟ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϩⲙ ⲡⲉϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲧⲉϥⲭⲁⲣⲓⲥ ⲉⲛⲧⲁⲥⲡⲱϩ ϣⲁⲣⲟⲓ ⲙⲡⲥϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲉⲥϣⲟⲩⲉⲓⲧ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲁⲓϣⲡϩⲓⲥⲉ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲉ ⲉⲣⲟⲟⲩ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲛ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲧⲉⲭⲁⲣⲓⲥ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲧⲛⲙⲙⲁⲓ
11 Whether then it was I or they, this is what we preach, and this is what you believed.
ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ⲉⲓⲧⲉ ϭⲉ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲉⲓⲧⲉ ⲛⲏ ⲧⲁⲓ ⲧⲉ ⲑⲉ ⲉⲧⲛⲧⲁϣⲉⲟⲉⲓϣ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲧⲁⲓ ⲧⲉ ⲑⲉ ⲉⲛⲧⲁⲧⲉⲧⲛⲡⲓⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ
12 Now if Meshikha is preached, that he has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?
ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ⲉϣϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲭⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲥⲉⲧⲁϣⲉⲟⲉⲓϣ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ϫⲉ ⲁϥⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ϩⲛ ⲛⲉⲧⲙⲟⲟⲩⲧ ⲛⲁϣ ⲛϩⲉ ⲟⲩⲛ ϩⲟⲓⲛⲉ ϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛϩⲏⲧ ⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ ϫⲉ ⲛⲉⲧⲙⲟⲟⲩⲧ ⲛⲁⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲁⲛ
13 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, neither has Meshikha been raised.
ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ⲉϣϫⲉ ⲛⲉⲧⲙⲟⲟⲩⲧ ⲛⲁⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲓⲉ ⲙⲡⲉ ⲡⲉⲭⲥ ⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ
14 If Meshikha has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain, and your faith also is in vain.
ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ⲉϣϫⲉ ⲙⲡⲉ ⲡⲉⲭⲥ ⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲓⲉ ⲡⲉⲛⲧⲁϣⲉⲟⲉⲓϣ ϣⲟⲩⲉⲓⲧ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲥϣⲟⲩⲉⲓⲧ ⲛϭⲓ ⲧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲥⲧⲓⲥ
15 Yes, we are found false witnesses of God, because we testified about God that he raised up Meshikha, whom he did not raise up, if it is so that the dead are not raised.
ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ⲥⲉⲛⲁϩⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲟⲛ ⲉⲣⲟⲛ ⲉⲛⲟ ⲙⲙⲛⲧⲣⲉ ⲛⲛⲟⲩϫ ⲉⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ϫⲉ ⲁⲛⲣⲙⲛⲧⲣⲉ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ϫⲉ ⲁϥⲧⲟⲩⲛⲉⲥ ⲡⲉⲭⲥ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲡϥⲧⲟⲩⲛⲟⲥϥ
16 For if the dead are not raised, neither has Meshikha been raised.
ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ⲉϣϫⲉ ⲛⲉⲧⲙⲟⲟⲩⲧ ⲛⲁⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲁⲛ ⲉϣϫⲉ ⲛⲉⲧⲙⲟⲟⲩⲧ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲁⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲓⲉ ⲙⲡⲉ ⲡⲉⲭⲥ ⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ
17 If Meshikha has not been raised, your faith is vain; you are still in your sins.
ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ⲉϣϫⲉ ⲙⲡⲉ ⲡⲉⲭⲥ ⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲓⲉ ⲥϣⲟⲩⲉⲓⲧ ⲛϭⲓ ⲧⲉⲧⲛⲡⲓⲥⲧⲓⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲧⲉⲓ ⲧⲉⲧⲛϣⲟⲟⲡ ϩⲛ ⲛⲉⲧⲛⲛⲟⲃⲉ
18 Then they also who are fallen asleep in Meshikha have perished.
ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ⲉⲓⲉ ⲁⲛⲕⲟⲟⲩⲉ ⲉⲛⲧⲁⲩⲛⲕⲟⲧⲕ ϩⲙ ⲡⲉⲭⲥ ϩⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ
19 If we have only hoped in Meshikha in this life, we are of all people most to be pitied.
ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ⲉϣϫⲉ ϩⲣⲁⲓ ϩⲙ ⲡⲉⲓⲱⲛϩ ⲙⲙⲁⲧⲉ ⲉⲛⲛⲁϩⲧⲉ ϩⲙ ⲡⲉⲭⲥ ⲉⲓⲉ ⲁⲛϩⲉⲛⲉⲃⲓⲏⲛ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲉ ⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲛⲓⲙ
20 But now Meshikha has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep.
ⲕ̅ⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲡⲉⲭⲥ ⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲛⲉⲧⲙⲟⲟⲩⲧ ⲧⲁⲡⲁⲣⲭⲏ ⲛⲛⲉⲛⲧⲁⲩⲛⲕⲟⲧⲕ
21 For since death came by a man, the resurrection of the dead also came by a man.
ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ⲉⲡⲉⲓⲇⲏ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲧⲁⲡⲙⲟⲩ ϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲛ ⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲛ ⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲟⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲛⲉⲧⲙⲟⲟⲩⲧ
22 For as in Adom all die, so also in Meshikha all will be made alive.
ⲕ̅ⲃ̅ⲛⲑⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲙⲟⲩ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ϩⲛ ⲁⲇⲁⲙ ⲧⲁⲓ ⲧⲉ ⲑⲉ ϩⲙ ⲡⲉⲭⲥ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲱⲛϩ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ
23 But each in his own order: Meshikha the first fruits, then those who are Meshikha's, at his coming.
ⲕ̅ⲅ̅ⲡⲟⲩⲁ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲟⲩⲁ ϩⲙ ⲡⲉϥⲧⲁⲅⲙⲁ ⲧⲁⲡⲁⲣⲭⲏ ⲡⲉⲭⲥ ⲙⲛⲛⲥⲱⲥ ⲛⲁ ⲡⲉⲭⲥ ϩⲛ ⲧⲉϥⲡⲁⲣϩⲟⲩⲥⲓⲁ
24 Then the end comes, when he will deliver up the Kingdom to God, even the Father; when he will have abolished all rule and all authority and power.
ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ⲉⲓⲧⲁ ⲑⲁⲏ ⲉϥϣⲁⲛϯ ⲛⲧⲙⲛⲧⲣⲣⲟ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲡⲉⲓⲱⲧ ⲉϥϣⲁⲛⲟⲩⲱⲥϥ ⲛⲁⲣⲭⲏ ⲛⲓⲙ ϩⲓ ⲉⲝⲟⲩⲥⲓⲁ ⲛⲓⲙ ϩⲓϭⲟⲙ ⲛⲓⲙ
25 For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.
ⲕ̅ⲉ̅ϩⲁⲡⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲧⲣⲉϥⲣⲣⲣⲟ ϣⲁⲛⲧϥⲕⲱ ⲛⲛⲉϥϫⲁϫⲉ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ϩⲁ ⲛⲉϥⲟⲩⲉⲣⲏⲧⲉ
26 The last enemy that will be abolished is death.
ⲕ̅ⲋ̅ⲡϩⲁⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲛϫⲁϫⲉ ϥⲛⲁⲟⲩⲱⲥϥ ⲉⲧⲉ ⲡⲙⲟⲩ ⲡⲉ
27 For, "He put all things under his feet." But when he says "all things" are put under, it is evident that the one who put all things under is the exception.
ⲕ̅ⲍ̅ⲁϥⲕⲁ ⲛⲕⲁ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲓⲙ ϩⲁ ⲛⲉϥⲟⲩⲉⲣⲏ ⲧⲉ ϩⲟⲧⲁⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲉϥϣⲁⲛϫⲟⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲛⲕⲁ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲁⲩϩⲩⲡⲟⲧⲁⲥⲥⲉ ⲛⲁϥ ⲉⲓⲉ ⲡⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡⲉⲛⲧⲁϥⲧⲣⲉ ⲛⲕⲁ ⲛⲓⲙ ϩⲩⲡⲟⲧⲁⲥⲥⲉ ⲛⲁϥ
28 When all things have been subjected to him, then the Son will also himself be subjected to him who subjected all things to him, that God may be all in all.
ⲕ̅ⲏ̅ϩⲟⲧⲁⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲣϣⲁⲛ ⲛⲕⲁ ⲛⲓⲙ ϩⲩⲡⲟⲧⲁⲥⲥⲉ ⲛⲁϥ ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⲛⲧⲟϥ ⲡϣⲏⲣⲉ ϥⲛⲁϩⲩⲡⲟⲧⲁⲥⲥⲉ ⲙⲡⲉⲛⲧⲁϥⲧⲣⲉ ⲛⲕⲁ ⲛⲓⲙ ϩⲩⲡⲟⲧⲁⲥⲥⲉ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲉⲣⲉⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲉⲡⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲡⲉ ⲉϥϩⲙ ⲡⲧⲏⲣϥ
29 Or else what will they do who are baptized for the dead? If the dead are not raised at all, why then are they baptized for them?
ⲕ̅ⲑ̅ⲉⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⲉⲩⲛⲁⲣⲟⲩ ⲛϭⲓ ⲛⲉⲧⲃⲁⲡⲧⲓⲍⲉ ϩⲁ ⲛⲉⲧⲙⲟⲟⲩⲧ ⲉϣϫⲉ ⲛⲉⲧⲙⲟⲟⲩⲧ ⲣⲱ ⲛⲁⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲁⲛ ⲁϩⲣⲟⲟⲩ ⲥⲉⲃⲁⲡⲧⲓⲍⲉ ϩⲁⲣⲟⲟⲩ
30 Why do we also stand in jeopardy every hour?
ⲗ̅ⲁϩⲣⲟⲛ ϩⲱⲱⲛ ⲧⲛⲕⲓⲛⲇⲩⲛⲉⲩⲉ ⲛⲛⲁⲩ ⲛⲓⲙ
31 I affirm, brothers, by the boasting in you which I have in Meshikha Yeshua our Lord, I die daily.
ⲗ̅ⲁ̅ϯⲙⲟⲩ ⲙⲙⲏⲛⲉ ϣⲉⲡⲉⲧⲛϣⲟⲩϣⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲉⲩⲛⲧⲁⲉⲓϥ ⲛⲁⲥⲛⲏⲩ ϩⲙ ⲡⲉⲭⲥ ⲓⲏⲥ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ
32 If I fought with animals at Ephesus for human purposes, what does it profit me? If the dead are not raised, then "let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die."
ⲗ̅ⲃ̅ⲉϣϫⲉ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲛⲧⲁⲓⲙⲓϣⲉ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲉⲑⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ϩⲛ ⲉⲫⲉⲥⲟⲥ ⲟⲩ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲁϩⲏⲩ ⲉϣϫⲉ ⲛⲉⲧⲙⲟⲟⲩⲧ ⲛⲁⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲁⲛ ⲙⲁⲣⲛⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲛⲧⲛⲥⲱ ϫⲉ ⲧⲛⲛⲁⲙⲟⲩ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲣⲁⲥⲧⲉ
33 Do not be deceived. "Bad company corrupts good morals."
ⲗ̅ⲅ̅ⲙⲡⲣⲡⲗⲁⲛⲁ ϣⲁⲣⲉ ⲛⲓϣⲁϫⲉ ⲉⲑⲟⲟⲩ ⲧⲁⲕⲉ ⲛⲓϩⲏⲧ ⲉⲧⲛⲁⲛⲟⲩⲟⲩ
34 Become sober-minded, and do not sin, for some are ignorant about God. I say this to your shame.
ⲗ̅ⲇ̅ⲛⲏⲫⲉ ⲇⲓⲕⲁⲓⲱⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲙⲡⲣⲣⲛⲟⲃⲉ ⲟⲩⲛ ϩⲟⲓⲛⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲟⲛⲁⲧⲥⲟⲟⲩⲛ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲓϫⲱ ⲛⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲓϯϣⲓⲡⲉ ⲛⲏⲧⲛ
35 But someone will say, "How are the dead raised?" and, "With what kind of body do they come?"
ⲗ̅ⲉ̅ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲟⲩⲁ ⲛⲁϫⲟⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲉⲣⲉⲛⲉⲧⲙⲟⲟⲩⲧ ⲛⲁⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲁϣ ⲛϩⲉ ⲉⲩⲛⲏⲩ ⲇⲉ ϩⲛ ⲁϣ ⲛⲥⲱⲙⲁ
36 You foolish one, that which you yourself sow is not made alive unless it dies.
ⲗ̅ⲋ̅ⲡⲁⲑⲏⲧ ⲛⲧⲟⲕ ⲡⲉϣⲁϥϫⲟϥ ⲙⲉϥⲱⲛϩ ⲉⲓ ⲙⲏⲧⲓ ⲛϥⲙⲟⲩ
37 That which you sow, you do not sow the body that will be, but a bare grain, maybe of wheat, or of some other kind.
ⲗ̅ⲍ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲙⲡⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲧⲛⲁϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲡⲉϣⲁⲕϫⲟϥ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲟⲩⲃⲗⲃⲓⲗⲉ ⲧⲉ ⲉⲥⲕⲏⲕⲁϩⲏⲩ ⲛⲥⲟⲩⲟ ⲏ ⲙⲡⲕⲉⲥⲉⲉⲡⲉ ⲛϭⲣⲟϭ
38 But God gives it a body even as it pleased him, and to each seed a body of its own.
ⲗ̅ⲏ̅ϣⲁⲣⲉ ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲇⲉ ϯⲛⲁϥ ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲑⲉ ⲉⲧϥⲟⲩⲁϣⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲟⲩⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲁ ⲡⲟⲩⲁ ⲛⲛⲉϭⲣⲱⲱϭ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲣⲟϥ
39 All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one flesh of humans, another flesh of animals, another of fish, and another of birds.
ⲗ̅ⲑ̅ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲁⲣⲝ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲧ ⲁⲛ ⲧⲉ ⲥⲁⲣⲝ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲟⲩⲉⲧ ⲧⲁⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲟⲩⲉⲧ ⲧⲥⲁⲣⲝ ⲛⲛⲧⲃⲛⲏ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲟⲩⲉⲧ ⲧⲥⲁⲣⲝ ⲛⲛϩⲁⲗⲏⲧ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲟⲩⲉⲧ ⲧⲁ ⲛⲧⲃⲧ
40 There are also celestial bodies, and terrestrial bodies; but the glory of the celestial differs from that of the terrestrial.
ⲙ̅ⲙⲛ ⲛⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲉⲧϩⲛ ⲧⲡⲉ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲉⲧϩⲙ ⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲟⲩⲉⲧ ⲡⲉⲟⲟⲩ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲛⲛⲉⲧϩⲛ ⲧⲡⲉ ⲟⲩⲉⲧ ⲡⲉⲟⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲛⲉⲧϩⲙ ⲡⲕⲁϩ
41 There is one glory of the sun, another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differs from another star in glory.
ⲙ̅ⲁ̅ⲟⲩⲉⲧ ⲡⲉⲟⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲣⲏ ⲟⲩⲉⲧ ⲡⲉⲟⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲟⲟϩ ⲟⲩⲉⲧ ⲡⲉⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲛⲥⲓⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲥⲓⲟⲩ ⲅⲁⲣ ϣⲟⲃⲉ ⲉⲥⲓⲟⲩ ϩⲙ ⲡⲉⲟⲟⲩ
42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption.
ⲙ̅ⲃ̅ⲧⲁⲓ ⲧⲉ ⲑⲉ ⲙⲡⲕⲉⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲛⲉⲧⲙⲟⲟⲩⲧ ⲥⲉⲛⲁϫⲟϥ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩⲧⲁⲕⲟ ⲛϥⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲛⲧⲁⲧⲧⲁⲕⲟ
43 It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power.
ⲙ̅ⲅ̅ⲥⲉⲛⲁϫⲟϥ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩⲥⲱϣ ⲛϥⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩⲉⲟⲟⲩ ⲥⲉⲛⲁϫⲟϥ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲛⲧϭⲱⲃ ⲛϥⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩϭⲟⲙ
44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body and there is also a spiritual body.
ⲙ̅ⲇ̅ⲥⲉⲛⲁϫⲟϥ ⲛⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲙⲯⲩⲭⲓⲕⲟⲛ ⲛϥⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲙⲡⲛⲁⲧⲓⲕⲟⲛ ⲉϣϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲙⲯⲩⲭⲓⲕⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲟⲛ ⲙⲡⲛⲁⲧⲓⲕⲟⲛ
45 So also it is written, "The first man, Adom, became a living soul." The last Adom became a life-giving spirit.
ⲙ̅ⲉ̅ⲧⲁⲓ ⲧⲉ ⲑⲉ ⲉⲧⲥⲏϩ ϫⲉ ⲁⲡϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲁⲇⲁⲙ ϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲉⲩⲯⲩⲭⲏ ⲉⲥⲟⲛϩ ⲡϩⲁⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲇⲁⲙ ⲉⲩⲡⲛⲁ ⲉϥⲧⲁⲛϩⲟ
46 However that which is spiritual is not first, but that which is natural, then that which is spiritual.
ⲙ̅ⲋ̅ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲙⲡϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲉⲡⲛⲁⲧⲓⲕⲟⲛ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲡⲉⲯⲩⲭⲓⲕⲟⲛ ⲙⲛⲛⲥⲱⲥ ⲡⲉⲡⲛⲁⲧⲓⲕⲟⲛ
47 The first man is of the earth, made of dust. The second man is from heaven.
ⲙ̅ⲍ̅ⲡϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲟⲩⲕⲁϩ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙ ⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲡⲙⲉϩ ⲥⲛⲁⲩ ⲟⲩⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲧⲡⲉ ⲡⲉ
48 As is the one made of dust, such are those who are also made of dust; and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
ⲙ̅ⲏ̅ⲛⲑⲉ ⲙⲡⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙ ⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲧⲁⲓ ⲧⲉ ⲑⲉ ⲛⲛⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙ ⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲑⲉ ⲙⲡⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲧⲡⲉ ⲧⲁⲓ ⲧⲉ ⲑⲉ ⲛⲛⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲧⲡⲉ
49 As we have borne the image of those made of dust, we will also bear the image of the heavenly.
ⲙ̅ⲑ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲑⲉ ⲉⲛⲧⲁⲛⲫⲟⲣⲓ ⲛⲑⲓⲕⲱⲛ ⲙⲡⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙ ⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲧⲛⲛⲁⲫⲟⲣⲓ ⲟⲛ ⲛⲑⲓⲕⲱⲛ ⲙⲡⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲧⲡⲉ
50 Now I say this, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption.
ⲛ̅ⲡⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ϯϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲛⲁⲥⲛⲏⲩ ϫⲉ ⲛⲛⲉϣ ⲥⲁⲣⲝ ϩⲓ ⲥⲛⲟϥ ⲕⲗⲏⲣⲟⲛⲟⲙⲓ ⲛⲧⲙⲛⲧⲣⲣⲟ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲡⲧⲁⲕⲟ ⲛⲁⲕⲗⲏⲣⲟⲛⲟⲙⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲛⲧⲙⲛⲧⲁⲧⲧⲁⲕⲟ
51 Look, I tell you a mystery. We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed,
ⲛ̅ⲁ̅ⲉⲓⲥ ϩⲏⲏⲧⲉ ϯϫⲱ ⲛⲏⲧⲛ ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲩⲥⲧⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ϫⲉ ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲧⲏⲣⲛ ⲧⲛⲛⲁⲛⲕⲧⲟⲕ ⲁⲛ ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲧⲏⲣⲛ ⲧⲛⲛⲁϣⲓⲃⲉ
52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed.
ⲛ̅ⲃ̅ϩⲛ ⲟⲩϣⲡⲛϣⲱⲡ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩⲣⲓⲕⲉ ⲛⲃⲁⲗ ϩⲛ ⲑⲁⲏ ⲛⲥⲁⲗⲡⲓⲅⲝ ϥⲛⲁⲥⲁⲗⲡⲓⲍⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲉⲧⲙⲟⲟⲩⲧ ⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲩⲟ ⲛⲁⲧⲧⲁⲕⲟ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⲧⲛⲛⲁϣⲓⲃⲉ
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
ⲛ̅ⲅ̅ϩⲁⲡⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲧⲣⲉ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲉϣⲁϥⲧⲁⲕⲟ ϯϩⲓⲱⲱϥ ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲛⲧⲁⲧⲧⲁⲕⲟ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲉϣⲁϥⲙⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲣⲉϥϯ ϩⲓⲱⲱϥ ⲛⲧⲙⲛⲧⲁⲧⲙⲟⲩ
54 But when this corruptible will have put on incorruption, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then what is written will happen: "Death is swallowed up in victory."
ⲛ̅ⲇ̅ϩⲟⲧⲁⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲣϣⲁⲛ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲉϣⲁϥⲙⲟⲩ ϯϩⲓⲱⲱϥ ⲛⲧⲙⲛⲧⲁⲧⲙⲟⲩ ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ϥⲛⲁϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲛϭⲓ ⲡϣⲁϫⲉ ⲉⲧⲥⲏϩ ϫⲉ ⲁⲩⲉⲙⲕⲡⲙⲟⲩ ⲉⲩϫⲣⲟ
55 "Death, where is your victory? Death, where is your sting?" (Hadēs g86)
ⲛ̅ⲉ̅ⲡⲙⲟⲩ ⲉϥⲧⲱⲛ ⲧⲉⲕϫⲣⲟ ⲡⲙⲟⲩ ⲉϥⲧⲱⲛ ⲡⲉⲕⲓⲉⲓⲃ (Hadēs g86)
56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
ⲛ̅ⲋ̅ⲡⲓⲉⲓⲃ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲡⲙⲟⲩ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲛⲟⲃⲉ ⲧϭⲟⲙ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲃⲉ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ
57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Yeshua Meshikha.
