Mark 7
1 One day the Pharisees came to him in a body with some Scribes who had come from Jerusalem.
Wtedy zgromadzili się wokół niego faryzeusze i pewni uczeni w Piśmie, którzy przybyli z Jerozolimy.
2 They had noticed that some of his disciples were eating with "common," that is to say, unwashed hands.
A gdy zobaczyli, że niektórzy z jego uczniów jedzą chleb nieczystymi, to znaczy nieumytymi rękami, ganili to.
3 For the Pharisees and all of the Jews do not eat until they have ceremoniously washed their hands in obedience to the tradition of the elders;
Faryzeusze bowiem i wszyscy Żydzi, trzymając się tradycji starszych, nie jedzą, jeśli dokładnie nie umyją rąk.
4 and when they come from the market-place they do not eat without bathing first. and they have many other customs which they have received and observe, such as the washing of cups and jugs and copper pans.
I [po powrocie] z rynku nie jedzą, jeśli się nie umyją. Jest jeszcze wiele innych zwyczajów, które przyjęli po to, by je zachowywać, [jak] obmywanie kubków, dzbanów, naczyń miedzianych i stołów.
5 So the Pharisees and Scribes asked him. "Why do your disciples not follow the traditions of the elders? Why do they eat with ‘common’ unwashed hands?"
Zapytali go więc faryzeusze i uczeni w Piśmie: Dlaczego twoi uczniowie nie postępują według tradycji starszych, lecz jedzą chleb nieumytymi rękami?
6 "Well did Isaiah prophesy of you, hypocrites," he answered. "As it is written, "This people honor me with their lips, While their hearts are far from me;
Wtedy on im odpowiedział: Dobrze Izajasz prorokował o was, obłudnikach, jak jest napisane: Ten lud czci mnie wargami, ale ich serce daleko jest ode mnie.
7 But in vain do they worship me, For their teaching is only human precepts.
Lecz na próżno mnie czczą, ucząc nauk, które są nakazami ludzkimi.
8 "You neglect the commandment of God, and hold fast the traditions of men."
[Wy] bowiem, opuściwszy przykazania Boże, trzymacie się tradycji ludzkiej, obmywania dzbanków i kubków. I wiele innych tym podobnych rzeczy czynicie.
9 "It is praiseworthy, is it," he exclaimed, "to reject the command of God that you may keep your tradition!
Mówił im też: Całkowicie znosicie przykazanie Boże, aby zachować swoją tradycję.
10 For although Moses said, Honor your father and mother, and Let him who curses father or mother suffer death,
Mojżesz bowiem powiedział: Czcij swego ojca i swoją matkę, oraz: Kto złorzeczy ojcu albo matce, niech poniesie śmierć.
11 you say that if a man tells his father or mother, ‘This money which otherwise you would have received from me, is Korban’ (that is, a thing devoted to God),
Ale wy mówicie: Jeśli człowiek powie ojcu albo matce: To, co powinieneś otrzymać ode mnie jako pomoc, to Korban, to znaczy dar [przeznaczony na ofiarę] – [będzie bez winy].
12 you exempt him from doing any service for his father or mother.
I nie pozwalacie mu nic więcej uczynić dla swego ojca albo matki;
13 Thus by your tradition which you have handed down you set at naught the word of God; and you do many other things like that."
Wniwecz obracając słowo Boże przez waszą tradycję, którą przekazaliście. I wiele innych tym podobnych rzeczy czynicie.
14 Then again he called the crowd to him and said.
A zwoławszy wszystkich ludzi, mówił do nich: Słuchajcie mnie wszyscy i zrozumiejcie.
15 "Listen to me, all of you, and understand; there is nothing outside a man which by entering in can defile him; but it is what comes from him that defiled him."
Nie ma nic z zewnątrz, co wchodząc w człowieka, mogłoby go skalać, ale to, co z niego wychodzi, to kala człowieka.
Jeśli ktoś ma uszy do słuchania, niech słucha.
17 After he had left the crowd and gone indoors his disciples began asking him about the parable.
A gdy [oddalił się] od ludzi i wszedł do domu, jego uczniowie pytali go [o tę] przypowieść.
18 "Are even you without understanding?" he said. "Do you not perceive that nothing whatever from without can defile a man by entering him,
Wtedy powiedział im: Czy i wy jesteście tak bezrozumni? Czyż nie rozumiecie, że wszystko, co z zewnątrz wchodzi w człowieka, nie może go skalać?
19 because it does not go into his heart, but into his belly, and passes away, ejected from him?" By these words he pronounced all foods clean.
Nie wchodzi bowiem do jego serca, ale do żołądka i zostaje wydalone do ustępu, oczyszczając wszystkie pokarmy.
20 "What comes out of a man," he continued, "is what defiles him.
I powiedział: Co wychodzi z człowieka, to kala człowieka.
21 From within, from the heart of man, proceed evil purposes -
Z wnętrza bowiem, z serca ludzkiego pochodzą złe myśli, cudzołóstwa, nierząd, zabójstwa;
22 fornication, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, wantonness, envy, slander, arrogance, reckless folly -
Kradzieże, chciwość, niegodziwość, podstęp, wyuzdanie, oko złe, bluźnierstwo, pycha, głupota.
23 all these wicked things issue from within and defile a man."
Całe to zło pochodzi z wnętrza i kala człowieka.
24 After he rose and left that place, he went away into the region of Tyre and Sidon. Here he went into a house and wished no one to know it but he could not be hid.
Odszedł stamtąd i udał się w okolice Tyru i Sydonu. A wszedłszy do [pewnego] domu, nie chciał, aby ktoś [o tym] wiedział. Nie mógł się jednak ukryć.
25 Forthwith a woman whose little daughter was possessed by an unclean spirit, heard of him, and came and fell at his feet
Usłyszała bowiem o nim kobieta, której córeczka miała ducha nieczystego, i przyszła, i upadła mu do nóg.
26 (the woman was a Greek, a Syro-phoenician by race), and again and again she begged him to cast the demon out of her daughter.
A kobieta ta była Greczynką, rodem z Syrofenicji, i prosiła go, aby wypędził demona z jej córki.
27 "Let the children be filled first," he said to her. "It is unseemly to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs."
Ale Jezus jej powiedział: Niech najpierw nasycą się dzieci, bo niedobrze jest brać chleb dzieci i rzucać szczeniętom.
28 "True, Master," she answered, "but the dogs under the table do pick up the children’s crumbs."
A ona odpowiedziała mu: Tak, Panie, lecz i szczenięta jadają pod stołem z okruszyn dzieci.
29 "For that saying of yours, go home," he replied; "the demon has departed from your daughter."
I powiedział do niej: Ze względu na te słowa idź, demon wyszedł z twojej córki.
30 So she went home, and found the child lying in her bed and the demon departed.
A gdy wróciła do swego domu, spostrzegła, że demon wyszedł, a córka leżała na łóżku.
31 Again he left the region of Tyre, and passed through Sidon to the Sea of Galilee, crossing the District of the Ten Towns.
Kiedy znowu opuścił okolice Tyru i Sydonu, przyszedł nad Morze Galilejskie przez środek krainy Dekapolu.
32 And they brought to him a deaf man who stammered, and begged him to lay his hands upon him.
I przyprowadzili do niego głuchego, który miał trudności z mówieniem, i prosili go, aby położył na niego rękę.
33 So Jesus took him aside from the crowd, by himself, and put his finger in the man’s ears, and moistened his tongue with saliva;
Pan, wziąwszy go z tłumu na bok, włożył palce w jego uszy i splunąwszy, dotknął jego języka;
34 then looking up to heaven with a sigh, he said to him, "Ephphatha!" (that is, "Be opened.")
A spojrzawszy w niebo, westchnął i powiedział do niego: Effatha, to znaczy: Otwórz się.
35 And his ears were opened and the bond of his tongue was loosened, and he spoke plainly.
Zaraz też otworzyły się jego uszy i rozwiązały się więzy jego języka, i mówił poprawnie.
36 Then Jesus charged them not to tell any one, but the more he charged them, the more they published it;
Wtedy im nakazał, aby [tego] nikomu nie mówili. Ale im bardziej im nakazywał, tym bardziej to rozgłaszali.
37 and people were amazed beyond measure saying. "How successfully he does things! Even the deaf he makes to hear, and the dumb to speak."
I niezmiernie się zdumiewali, mówiąc: Dobrze wszystko uczynił. Sprawia, że głusi słyszą i niemi mówią.
