Luke 10
1 After this the appointed seventy others, and sent them two by two before his face, into every city and place into which he himself intended to go.
其後主又七十二人を指名して、己が至らんとする町々處々に、先二人づつ遣はさんとして、
2 And he thus addressed them. "The harvest is abundant, but the harvesters are few. do you therefore pray the lord of the harvest to send forth harvesters into his harvest.
曰ひけるは、収穫は多けれども働く者は少し、故に働く者を其収穫に遣はさん事を、収穫の主に願へ。
3 "Go your way; behold, I am sending you forth like lambs among wolves.
往け、我が汝等を遣はすは、羔を狼の中に入るるが如し、
4 "Carry no purse, no bag, no shoes; and do not salute any one on your journey.
汝等、財布、旅嚢、履を携ふること勿れ、途中にて誰にも挨拶を為すこと勿れ。
5 "Into whatever you first enter, say, ‘Peace be to this house!’
何れの家に入るも、先此家に平安あれかしと言へ、
6 "And if there be any son of peace there, your peace shall rest upon him; but if not it shall return to you.
若し其處に平安の子あらば、汝等の祈る平安は其上に留らん、然らずば汝等の身に歸らん。
7 "Stay in that same house, eating and drinking what they give. for the laborer is worthy of his hire. Do not go from house to house.
同じ家に留りて、其内に在合はする物を飲食せよ、是働く者は其報を受くるに値すればなり。家より家に移ること勿れ、
8 "And whatever town you come to, and they receive you, eat whatever they put before you.
又何れの町に入るとも、人々汝等を承けなば、汝等に供せらるる物を食し、
9 "Heal the sick in that town and tell them, The kingdom of God draws near to you.
其處にある病人を醫し、人々に向ひて、神の國は汝等に近づけり、と言へ。
10 "But whatever town you enter, and they do not receive you, Go out into the streets and cry,
何れの町に入るとも、人々汝等を承けずば、其衢に出でて斯く云へ、
11 "‘The very dust of your town which clings to your feet we wipe off as protest; but know this, that the kingdom of God is drawing near to you.’
汝等の町にて我等に附きし塵までも、我等は汝等に向ひて払うぞ、然りながら神の國の近づきたるを知れ、と。
12 "For I tell you that it will be mare tolerable for Sodom in that day than for that town.
我汝等に告ぐ、彼日には、ソドマはかの町よりも恕さるる事あらん。
13 "Woe unto you, Chorazin! Woe unto you, Bethsaida! For had the mighty been done in Tyre and Sidon which were done in you, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.
禍なる哉汝コロザイン、禍なる哉汝ベッサイダ、其は若汝等の中に行はれし奇蹟、チロとシドンとの中に行はれしならば、彼等は早く改心して、荒き毛衣を纏ひて灰に坐せしならん。
14 "However, it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the judgment than for you.
然れば審判に當りて、チロとシドンとは汝等よりも恕さるる事あらん。
15 "And you Capernaum, shall you be exalted to heaven? No! you shall be brought down to Hades! (Hadēs g86)
又カファルナウムよ、汝も地獄にまで沈めらるべし、天にまでも上げられたるものを。 (Hadēs g86)
16 "He who listens to you listens to me. and he who rejects you, rejects me; he who rejects me, rejects him who sent me."
抑汝等に聴く人は我に聴き、汝等を軽んずる人は我を軽んじ、我を軽んずる人は我を遣はし給ひしものを軽んずるなり、と。
17 Then the Seventy returned with joy, saying, "Lord even the demons are subject to us in your name."
斯て七十二人、喜びつつ歸來り、主よ、汝の名に由りて、惡魔すらも我等に歸服す、と云ひしかば、
18 And he said to them. "I watched Satan fall from heaven like a lightning flash.
イエズス彼等に曰ひけるは、我サタンが電光の如く天より落つるを見つつありき。
19 "Behold, I give you the power to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and to trample on all the power of the enemy. In no case shall anything do you harm.
看よ我汝等に、蛇、蠍、並に敵の一切の勢力を蹂躙るべき権能を授けたれば、汝等を害する者はあらじ、
20 "Nevertheless, do not rejoice at this, that the spirits are subject to you; but rejoice that your names are written in Heaven."
然りながら、鬼神の汝等に服するを喜ぶこと勿れ、寧汝等の名の天に録されたるを喜べ、と。
21 In the same hour he thrilled with joy in the Holy Ghost. "I praise thee, Father, Lord of Heaven and Earth," he said "for hiding these things from the wise and prudent, and for revealing them to babes. Yea, Father, for so it was well pleasing in thy sight!
其時イエズス、聖霊によりて喜悦して曰ひけるは、天地の主なる父よ、我汝を稱賛す、其は是等の事を學者、智者に隠して、小き人々に顕し給ひたればなり。然り父よ、斯の如きは御意に適ひし故なり。
22 "All things have been delivered to me by my Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father; and who the Father is except the Son, and he the Son wishes to reveal him."
一切の物は我父より我に賜はりたり、父の外に、子の誰なるかを知る者なく、子及び子が肯て示したらん者の外に、父の誰なるかを知る者なし、と。
23 And turning to his disciples he said privately. "Blessed are the eyes that see what you see!
斯て弟子等を顧みて曰ひけるは、汝等の見る所を視る目は福なる哉。
24 "For I tell you that many prophets and kings have longed to see what you see, and have seen it; and to hear what you hear, and have heard it not.’
蓋我汝等に告ぐ、多くの預言者及び帝王は、汝等の視る所を視んと欲せしかど視ることを得ず、汝等の聞く所を聞かんと欲せしかど聞くことを得ざりき、と。
25 Then a certain lawyer stood up and tempted him. "Master," he said "what shall I do to inherit eternal life?" (aiōnios g166)
折しも一人の律法學士立上り、イエズスを試みんとして云ひけるは、師よ、我何を為してか永遠の生命を得べき。 (aiōnios g166)
26 And he said to him. "What is written in the Law? What do you read there?"
イエズス之に曰ひけるは、律法に何と録したるぞ、汝其を何と読むぞ、と。
27 "You must love the Lord your God," he answered, with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself."
彼答へて、汝の心を盡し、魂を盡し、力を盡し、精神を盡して汝の神たる主を愛し、又汝の近き者を己の如く愛すべし、と云ひしに、
28 "You have answered right," said Jesus "do that and you shall live."
汝の答正し、之を行へ、然らば汝活くることを得ん、と曰へり。
29 But he, determined to justify himself, said to Jesus, "But who is my neighbor?" Jesus answered.
然るに彼自ら弁ぜんと欲してイエズスに向ひ、我近き者とは誰ぞ、と云ひしかば、
30 "A certain man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he fell among bandits who both stripped him and beat him, and went off leaving him half dead.
イエズス答へて、或人エルザレムよりエリコに下る時、強盗の手に陥りしが、彼等之を剥ぎて傷を負はせ、半死半生にして棄去れり。
31 "Now a certain priest chanced to be going down that way, but on seeing him he passed on the other side.
偶一人の司祭、同じ道を下れるに、之を見て過行き、
32 "In like manner also a Levite who came to the spot, came and looked at him, and passed on the other side.
又一人のレヴィ人も、其所に來合せて之を見しかど、同じ様に過行けり。
33 "But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was, and when he saw him was moved with compassion.
然るに一人のサマリア人、旅路を辿りつつ彼の側に來りけるが、之を見て憐を催し、
34 "He went to him bound up his wounds, pouring on them oil and wine. He set him on his own beast, and took him to an inn, and took care of him.
近づきて油と葡萄酒とを注ぎ、其傷を繃帯して己が馬に乗せ、宿に伴ひて看護せり。
35 "The next day he took two silver pieces and gave them to the landlord and said, "‘Take care of him, and whatever more you spend I will repay it to you on my way back.’
然て翌日デナリオ銀貨二枚を取り出して宿主に予へ、此人を看護せよ、此上に費したらん所は、我歸る時汝に償ふべし、と云へり。
36 "Which then of these three seems to you to have behaved like a neighbor to the man who fell among bandits?"
此三人の中、彼強盗の手に陥りたる人に近かりしと汝に見ゆる者は孰ぞ、と曰ひけるに、
37 He replied, "The one who showed mercy on him." "Go, then," said Jesus, "and do likewise."
律法學士、彼人に憫を加へたる者是なり、と云ひしかばイエズス、汝も往きて斯の如くせよ、と曰へり。
38 It happened as they went on their way that he entered into a certain village were a woman named Martha received him into her house.
斯て皆往きけるに、イエズス或村に入り給ひしを、マルタと名くる女自宅にて接待せり。
39 She had a sister named Mary, who after seating herself at the Lord’s feet was listening to his teaching.
彼女にマリアと名くる姉妹ありて、是も主の足下に坐して御言を聴き居たるに、
40 But Martha meanwhile was growing distracted about much serving. She came up to him and said. "Lord do you not care that my sister has left me alone to do the serving? Come tell her to take hold of her end of the work along with me."
マルタは饗應の忙しさに取紛れたりしが、立止りて云ひけるは、主よ、我姉妹の我一人を遺して饗應さしむるを意とし給はざるか、然れば命じて我を助けしめ給へ、と。
41 "Martha, Martha," said Jesus, "you are anxious and worried about many things,
主答へて曰ひけるは、マルタマルタ、汝は様々の事に就きて思煩ひ心を騒がすれども、
42 "only one thing is really necessary. Mary, moreover, has chosen that good part which shall not be taken away from her."
必要なるは唯一、マリアは最良の部分を選めり、之を奪はるまじきなり、と。
