Psalms 62

1 TO THE OVERSEER. FOR JEDUTHUN. A PSALM OF DAVID. Toward God alone [is] my soul silent, My salvation [is] from Him.

לַמְנַצֵּ֥חַ עַֽל־יְדוּת֗וּן מִזְמֹ֥ור לְדָוִֽד׃ אַ֣ךְ אֶל־אֱ֭לֹהִים דּֽוּמִיָּ֣ה נַפְשִׁ֑י מִ֝מֶּ֗נּוּ יְשׁוּעָתִֽי׃

2 He alone [is] my rock, and my salvation, My tower, I am not much moved.

אַךְ־ה֣וּא צ֭וּרִי וִֽישׁוּעָתִ֑י מִ֝שְׂגַּבִּ֗י לֹא־אֶמֹּ֥וט רַבָּֽה׃

3 Until when do you devise mischief against a man? All of you are destroyed, As a wall inclined, a hedge that is cast down.

עַד־אָ֤נָה ׀ תְּהֹֽותְת֣וּ עַל אִישׁ֮ תְּרָצְּח֪וּ כֻ֫לְּכֶ֥ם כְּקִ֥יר נָט֑וּי גָּ֝דֵ֗ר הַדְּחוּיֽ͏ָה׃

4 Only—from his excellence They have consulted to drive away, They enjoy a lie, they bless with their mouth, And revile with their heart. (Selah)

אַ֤ךְ מִשְּׂאֵתֹ֨ו ׀ יָעֲצ֣וּ לְהַדִּיחַ֮ יִרְצ֪וּ כָ֫זָ֥ב בְּפִ֥יו יְבָרֵ֑כוּ וּ֝בְקִרְבָּ֗ם יְקַלְלוּ־סֶֽלָה׃

5 For God alone, be silent, O my soul, For my hope [is] from Him.

אַ֣ךְ לֵ֭אלֹהִים דֹּ֣ומִּי נַפְשִׁ֑י כִּי־מִ֝מֶּ֗נּוּ תִּקְוָתִֽי׃

6 He alone [is] my rock and my salvation, My tower, I am not moved.

אַךְ־ה֣וּא צ֭וּרִי וִֽישׁוּעָתִ֑י מִ֝שְׂגַּבִּ֗י לֹ֣א אֶמֹּֽוט׃

7 On God [is] my salvation, and my glory, The rock of my strength, my refuge [is] in God.

עַל־אֱ֭לֹהִים יִשְׁעִ֣י וּכְבֹודִ֑י צוּר־עֻזִּ֥י מַ֝חְסִ֗י בֵּֽאלֹהִֽים׃

8 Trust in Him at all times, O people, Pour forth your heart before Him, God [is] a refuge for us. (Selah)

בִּטְח֘וּ בֹ֤ו בְכָל־עֵ֨ת ׀ עָ֗ם שִׁפְכֽוּ־לְפָנָ֥יו לְבַבְכֶ֑ם אֱלֹהִ֖ים מַחֲסֶה־לָּ֣נוּ סֶֽלָה׃

9 Surely vanity the low, a lie the high. In balances to go up They [are] lighter than a breath.

אַ֤ךְ ׀ הֶ֥בֶל בְּנֵֽי־אָדָם֮ כָּזָ֪ב בְּנֵ֫י אִ֥ישׁ בְּמֹאזְנַ֥יִם לַעֲלֹ֑ות הֵ֝֗מָּה מֵהֶ֥בֶל יָֽחַד׃

10 Do not trust in oppression, And do not become vain in robbery, Do not set the heart [on] wealth when it increases.

אַל־תִּבְטְח֣וּ בְעֹשֶׁק֮ וּבְגָזֵ֪ל אַל־תֶּ֫הְבָּ֥לוּ חַ֤יִל ׀ כִּֽי־יָנ֑וּב אַל־תָּשִׁ֥יתוּ לֵֽב׃

11 Once has God spoken, twice I heard this, That “strength [is] with God.”

אַחַ֤ת ׀ דִּבֶּ֬ר אֱלֹהִ֗ים שְׁתַּֽיִם־ז֥וּ שָׁמָ֑עְתִּי כִּ֥י עֹ֝֗ז לֵאלֹהִֽים׃

12 And with You, O Lord, [is] kindness, For You repay to each, According to his work!

וּלְךָֽ־אֲדֹנָ֥י חָ֑סֶד כִּֽי־אַתָּ֨ה תְשַׁלֵּ֖ם לְאִ֣ישׁ כְּֽמַעֲשֵֽׂהוּ׃
