1 Corinthians 15
1 And I make known to you, brothers, the good news that I proclaimed to you, which you also received, in which you also have stood,
Agora eu vos declaro, irmãos, a Boa Nova que vos preguei, que também recebestes, na qual também estais firmes,
2 through which you are also being saved, if you hold fast [to] the word—what I proclaimed as good news to you—unless you believed in vain.
pela qual também estais salvos, se mantiverdes firme a palavra que vos preguei - a menos que acreditásseis em vão.
3 For I delivered to you as most important what I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Writings,
Pois eu vos entreguei primeiro aquilo que também recebi: que Cristo morreu por nossos pecados de acordo com as Escrituras,
4 and that He was buried, and that He has risen on the third day according to the Writings,
que ele foi sepultado, que ele foi criado no terceiro dia de acordo com as Escrituras,
5 and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the Twelve,
e que ele apareceu a Cephas, depois aos doze.
6 afterward He appeared to above five hundred brothers at once, of whom the greater part remain until now, and some also fell asleep;
depois apareceu a mais de quinhentos irmãos ao mesmo tempo, a maioria dos quais permanece até agora, mas alguns também adormeceram.
7 afterward He appeared to James, then to all the apostles.
Depois ele apareceu a Tiago, depois a todos os apóstolos,
8 And last of all—as to the untimely birth—He also appeared to me,
e por último, quanto à criança nascida no momento errado, ele também apareceu a mim.
9 for I am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the Assembly of God,
Pois eu sou o menor dos apóstolos, que não é digno de ser chamado apóstolo, porque persegui a assembléia de Deus.
10 and by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace that [is] toward me did not come in vain, but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God that [is] with me;
Mas pela graça de Deus, eu sou o que sou. Sua graça que me foi dada não foi fútil, mas trabalhei mais do que todos eles; ainda não eu, mas a graça de Deus que estava comigo.
11 whether, then, I or they, so we preach, and so you believed.
Quer seja então eu ou eles, assim pregamos, e assim você acreditou.
12 And if Christ is preached, that He has risen out of the dead, how [do] certain among you say that there is no resurrection of [the] dead?
Agora, se Cristo é pregado, que ressuscitou dos mortos, como alguns de vocês dizem que não há ressurreição dos mortos?
13 And if there is no resurrection of [the] dead, neither has Christ risen;
Mas se não há ressurreição dos mortos, nem Cristo foi ressuscitado.
14 and if Christ has not risen, then our preaching [is] void, and your faith [is] also void,
Se Cristo não ressuscitou, então a nossa pregação é em vão e a vossa fé também é em vão.
15 and we are also found [to be] false witnesses of God, because we testified of God that He raised up the Christ, whom He did not raise if then dead persons do not rise;
Sim, também encontramos falsas testemunhas de Deus, porque testemunhamos sobre Deus que Ele ressuscitou Cristo, a quem Ele não ressuscitou se for verdade que os mortos não ressuscitaram.
16 for if dead persons do not rise, neither has Christ risen,
Pois se os mortos não são ressuscitados, Cristo também não foi ressuscitado.
17 and if Christ has not risen, your faith is vain, you are yet in your sins;
Se Cristo não ressuscitou, sua fé é vaidosa; você ainda está em seus pecados.
18 then, also, those having fallen asleep in Christ perished;
Então também aqueles que adormeceram em Cristo pereceram.
19 if we only have hope in Christ in this life, we are to be most pitied of all men.
Se só temos esperança em Cristo nesta vida, somos de todos os homens mais deploráveis.
20 And now, Christ has risen out of the dead—He became the first-fruits of those sleeping,
Mas agora Cristo foi ressuscitado dos mortos. Ele se tornou o primeiro fruto daqueles que estão dormindo.
21 for since through man [is] death, also through Man [is] a resurrection of the dead,
Pois desde que a morte veio pelo homem, a ressurreição dos mortos também veio pelo homem.
22 for even as in Adam all die, so also in the Christ all will be made alive,
Pois como em Adão todos morrem, assim também em Cristo todos se tornarão vivos.
23 and each in his proper order: Christ, a first-fruit, afterward those who are the Christ’s in His coming,
Mas cada um em sua própria ordem: Cristo os primeiros frutos, depois aqueles que são de Cristo em sua vinda.
24 then—the end, when He may deliver up the kingdom to God, even the Father, when He may have made all rule useless, and all authority and power.
Depois vem o fim, quando ele entregará o Reino a Deus Pai, quando ele terá abolido toda a regra e toda a autoridade e poder.
25 For it is necessary for Him to reign until He may have put all the enemies under His feet.
Pois ele deve reinar até que tenha colocado todos os seus inimigos sob seus pés.
26 The last enemy is done away with—death.
O último inimigo que será abolido é a morte.
27 For He put all things under His feet, and when one may say that all things have been subjected, [it is] evident that He is excepted who subjected all things to Him,
Pois, “Ele sujeitou todas as coisas debaixo de seus pés”. Mas quando ele diz: “Todas as coisas estão sujeitas”, é evidente que ele é exceto quem submeteu todas as coisas a ele.
28 and when all things may be subjected to Him, then also the Son Himself will be subject to Him, who subjected to Him all things, that God may be the all in all.
Quando todas as coisas tiverem sido submetidas a ele, então o próprio Filho também será submetido àquele que lhe submeteu todas as coisas, para que Deus seja tudo em todos.
29 Seeing what will they do who are immersed for the dead, if the dead do not rise at all? Why are they also immersed for the dead?
Ou então o que farão aqueles que são batizados para os mortos? Se os mortos não são de todo ressuscitados, por que então são batizados pelos mortos?
30 Why do we also stand in peril every hour?
Por que também estamos em perigo a cada hora?
31 I die every day, by the glorying of you that I have in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Afirmo, pela ostentação que tenho em Cristo Jesus nosso Senhor, eu morro diariamente.
32 If I fought with wild beasts in Ephesus after the manner of a man, what [is] the advantage to me if the dead do not rise? Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die!
Se eu lutei com animais em Éfeso para fins humanos, o que isso me beneficia? Se os mortos não são ressuscitados, então “vamos comer e beber, pois amanhã morreremos”.
33 Do not be led astray; evil communications corrupt good manners;
Não se engane! “As más companhias corrompem a boa moral”.
34 wake up, as is right, and do not sin; for some have an ignorance of God; I say [it] to you for shame.
Wake justo e não pequem, pois alguns não têm conhecimento de Deus. Digo isto para sua vergonha.
35 But someone will say, “How do the dead rise?”
Mas alguém dirá: “Como os mortos são ressuscitados” e “Com que tipo de corpo eles vêm”?
36 Unwise! You—what you sow is not quickened except it may die;
Seu tolo, aquilo que você mesmo semeia não é feito vivo, a menos que morra.
37 and that which you sow, you do not sow the body that will be, but a bare grain, it may be of wheat, or of someone of the others,
Aquilo que você semeia, você não semeia o corpo que será, mas um grão nu, talvez de trigo, ou de algum outro tipo.
38 and God gives a body to it according as He willed, and its proper body to each of the seeds.
Mas Deus lhe dá um corpo, mesmo quando lhe agrada, e a cada semente um corpo próprio.
39 All flesh [is] not the same flesh, but there is one flesh of men, and another flesh of beasts, and another of fishes, and another of birds;
Toda carne não é a mesma carne, mas há uma carne de homem, outra carne de animal, outra de peixe e outra de pássaro.
40 and [there are] heavenly bodies and earthly bodies; but one [is] the glory of the heavenly, and another that of the earthly;
Há também corpos celestes e corpos terrestres; mas a glória do celeste difere da do terrestre.
41 one glory of sun, and another glory of moon, and another glory of stars, for star differs from star in glory.
Há uma glória do sol, outra glória da lua e outra glória das estrelas; pois uma estrela difere de outra estrela em glória.
42 So also [is] the resurrection of the dead: it is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption;
Assim também é a ressurreição dos mortos. O corpo é semeado perecível; ele é levantado imperecível.
43 it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power;
It é semeado em desonra; é ressuscitado em glória. Semeia-se em fraqueza; ergue-se em poder.
44 it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body; there is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body;
Semeia-se um corpo natural; ressuscita-se um corpo espiritual. Há um corpo natural e há também um corpo espiritual.
45 so also it has been written: “The first man Adam became a living creature,” the last Adam [is] for a life-giving spirit,
Assim também está escrito: “O primeiro homem, Adão, tornou-se uma alma viva”. O último Adão se tornou um espírito vivificador.
46 but that which is spiritual [is] not first, but that which [was] natural, afterward that which [is] spiritual.
Entretanto, o que é espiritual não é primeiro, mas o que é natural, depois o que é espiritual.
47 The first man [is] out of the earth—earthly; the second Man [is] the LORD out of Heaven;
O primeiro homem é da terra, feito de pó. O segundo homem é o Senhor do céu.
48 as [is] the earthly, such [are] also the earthly; and as [is] the heavenly, such [are] also the heavenly;
Assim como o que é feito de pó, tais são aqueles que também são feitos de pó; e assim como o celestial, tais são aqueles que também são celestiais.
49 and according as we bore the image of the earthly, we will also bear the image of the heavenly.
Assim como nós carregamos a imagem daqueles que são feitos de pó, vamos carregar também a imagem dos celestiais.
50 And this I say, brothers, that flesh and blood are not able to inherit the Kingdom of God, nor does the corruption inherit the incorruption.
Agora digo isto, irmãos, que a carne e o sangue não podem herdar o Reino de Deus; nem os perecíveis herdam os imperecíveis.
51 Behold, I tell you a secret: we indeed will not all sleep, but we will all be changed;
Eis um mistério. Nem todos dormiremos, mas todos seremos transformados,
52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, in the last trumpet, for it will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed;
em um momento, em um piscar de olhos, no último trompete. Pois a trombeta soará e os mortos serão ressuscitados incorruptíveis, e nós seremos transformados.
53 for it is necessary for this corruptible to put on incorruption, and this mortal to put on immortality;
Pois este corpo perecível deve se tornar imperecível, e este mortal deve colocar sobre a imortalidade.
54 and when this corruptible may have put on incorruption, and this mortal may have put on immortality, then will be brought to pass the word that has been written: “Death was swallowed up—to victory;
Mas quando este corpo perecível tiver se tornado imperecível, e este mortal tiver colocado sobre a imortalidade, então o que está escrito acontecerá: “A morte é engolida pela vitória”.
“Morte, onde está seu ferrão? Hades, onde está sua vitória?” (Hadēs g86)
56 And the sting of death [is] sin, and the power of sin the Law;
A picada da morte é o pecado, e o poder do pecado é a lei.
57 and to God—thanks, to Him who is giving us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ;
Mas graças a Deus, que nos dá a vitória através de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo.
58 so that, my beloved brothers, become steadfast, unmovable, abounding in the work of the LORD at all times, knowing that your labor in the LORD is not vain.
Portanto, meus amados irmãos, sede firmes, imóveis, sempre abundantes na obra do Senhor, porque sabeis que vosso trabalho não é em vão no Senhor.
