Zechariah 13
1 On that day shall there be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for cleansing from sin and for purification.
Naquele dia haverá uma fonte aberta para a casa de David, e para os habitantes de Jerusalém, contra o pecado, e contra a imundícia.
2 And it shall come to pass on that day, saith the Lord of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall not be remembered any more: and also the prophets and the unclean spirit will I remove out of the land.
E será naquele dia, diz o Senhor dos exércitos, que desfarei da terra os nomes dos ídolos, e deles não se fará mais memória; e também farei sair da terra os profetas e o espírito da imundícia.
3 And it shall come to pass, if any one should yet prophesy, that his father and his mother who have begotten him shall say unto him, Thou shalt not live; for falsely hast thou spoken in the name of the Lord: and his father and his mother who have begotten him shall thrust him through when he prophesieth.
E será que, quando alguém profetizar mais, seu pai e sua mãe, que o geraram, lhe dirão: Não viverás, porque falaste mentira em nome do Senhor; e seu pai e sua mãe, que o geraram, o traspassarão quando profetizar.
4 And it shall come to pass on that day, that the prophets shall be ashamed every one because of his vision, when he prophesieth; and they shall not clothe themselves with a hairy cloak in order to deceive.
E será naquele dia que os profetas se envergonharão, cada um da sua visão, quando profetizar; nem eles se vestirão mais de manto de pelos, para mentirem.
5 But he will say, I am no prophet, a man that tilleth the ground am I; for some one hath taught me to keep cattle from my youth.
E dirão: Não sou profeta, lavrador sou da terra; porque certo homem para isso me adquiriu desde a minha mocidade.
6 And should some one say unto him, What are these wounds between thy hands? Then will he say, Those with which I have been wounded in the house of my [vicious] friends.
E se alguém lhe disser: Que são estas feridas nas tuas mãos? Dirá ele: Feridas são com que fui ferido em casa dos meus amadores.
7 Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man whom I have associated with me, saith the Lord of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered; but I will turn my hand toward the feeble ones.
Ó espada, desperta-te contra o meu Pastor e contra o varão que é o meu companheiro, diz o Senhor dos exércitos: fere ao Pastor, e espalhar-se-ão as ovelhas; mas volverei a minha mão para os pequenos.
8 And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the Lord, two parts [of those] therein shall be cut off, shall perish; but the third part shall be left therein.
E será em toda a terra, diz o Senhor, que as duas partes dela serão extirpadas, e expirarão; mas a terceira parte restará nela.
9 And I will bring the third part into the fire, and I will refine them as one refineth silver, and will probe them as gold is probed: they will call on my name, and I will answer their prayer; I will say, They arc my people; and they will say, The Lord is my God.
E farei passar esta terceira parte pelo fogo, e a purificarei, como se purifica a prata, e a provarei, como se prova o ouro: ela invocará o meu nome, e eu a ouvirei; direi: Meu povo é, e ela dirá: O Senhor é o meu Deus.
