Psalms 65
1 “To the chief musician, a psalm [and] song of David.” For thee praise is waiting, O God, in Zion: and unto thee shall vows be paid.
Przewodnikowi chóru. Psalm i pieśń Dawida. Tobie, Boże, należy się chwała na Syjonie i tobie [złożone] śluby należy wypełnić.
2 O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee all flesh shall come.
Ty wysłuchujesz modlitwy, dlatego do ciebie przyjdzie wszelkie ciało.
3 The iniquitous things have become too mighty for me: our transgressions—these wilt thou wipe away.
Wielkie nieprawości wzięły górę nad nami; ty oczyszczasz nasze występki.
4 Happy is he whom thou choosest, and causest to approach, that he may dwell in thy courts: let us be satisfied with the happiness of thy house, the holiness of thy temple.
Błogosławiony, [kogo] ty wybierasz i przyjmujesz, aby mieszkał w twoich przedsionkach; będziemy nasyceni dobrami twego domu, twej świętej świątyni.
5 With terrific deeds in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation, who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of the sea, that are far away;
Straszliwymi rzeczami odpowiesz nam według sprawiedliwości, Boże naszego zbawienia, nadziejo wszystkich krańców ziemi i mórz dalekich.
6 Who setteth firmly the mountains by his power, who is girded with might;
Ty, który utwierdzasz góry swoją mocą, przepasany potęgą;
7 Who assuageth the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, and the tumult of nations.
Ty, który uciszasz szum morza, szum jego fal, i wrzawę narodów;
8 And they that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid of thy wondrous signs: the outgoings of the morning and evening thou causest to rejoice.
Mieszkańcy krańców [ziemi] boją się twoich znaków; ty radujesz [ich] nastawaniem poranka i wieczora.
9 Thou hast thought of the earth, and waterest her abundantly; thou greatly enrichest her; the brook of God is full of water: thou preparest their corn, when thou hast thus prepared her.
Nawiedzasz ziemię i zraszasz ją, wzbogacasz ją obficie strumieniem Bożym pełnym wody. Przygotowujesz im zboże, gdy tak przysposabiasz ziemię.
10 Watering her furrows abundantly, smoothing down her ridges, thou softenest her with showers; thou blessest her growth.
Nawadniasz jej zagony, wyrównujesz jej bruzdy, zmiękczasz ją deszczami i błogosławisz jej urodzaje.
11 Thou hast crowned the year of thy goodness; and thy tracks drop fatness:
Wieńczysz rok swoją dobrocią, a twoje ścieżki ociekają tłuszczem.
12 The pastures of the wilderness are dropping [with plenty]: and the hills are girt with gladness.
Skrapiasz pustynne pastwiska, a pagórki przepasują się radością.
13 The meadows are clothed with flocks, and the valleys are enveloped with corn: men shout for joy, [yea, ] they also sing.
Łąki przyodziewają się stadami, a doliny okrywają się zbożem; wykrzykują [radośnie] i śpiewają.
