Zacharias 12

1 The burden of the word of the Lord for Israel; says the Lord, that stretches out the sky, and lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him.

Carga de la palabra de Jehová sobre Israel. Dijo Jehová, el que extiende los cielos, y funda la tierra, y forma el espíritu del hombre dentro de él:

2 Behold, I [will] make Jerusalem as trembling door-posts to all the nations round about, and in Judea there shall be a siege against Jerusalem.

He aquí que yo pongo a Jerusalem por vaso de veneno a todos los pueblos al derredor, y también a Judá la cual será en el cerco contra Jerusalem.

3 And it shall come to pass in that day [that] I will make Jerusalem a trodden stone to all the nations: every one that tramples on it shall utterly mock at [it], and all the nations of the earth shall be gathered together against it.

Y será en aquel día, que yo pondré a Jerusalem por piedra pesada a todos los pueblos: todos los que se la cargaren, despedazando serán despedazados; y todas las naciones de la tierra se juntarán contra ella.

4 In that day, says the Lord Almighty, I will strike every horse with amazement, and his rider with madness: but I will open mine eyes upon the house of Juda, and I will strike all the horses of the nations with blindness.

En aquel día, dijo Jehová, heriré con aturdimiento a todo caballo, y con locura al que sube en él: mas sobre la casa de Judá abriré mis ojos, y a todo caballo de los pueblos heriré con ceguera.

5 And the captains of thousands of Juda shall say in their hearts, We shall find for ourselves the inhabitants of Jerusalem in the Lord Almighty their God.

Y los capitanes de Judá dirán en su corazón: Mi fuerza son los moradores de Jerusalem en Jehová de los ejércitos su Dios.

6 In that day I will make the captains of thousands of Juda as a firebrand among wood, and as a torch of fire in stubble; and they shall devour on the right hand and on the left all the nations round about: and Jerusalem shall dwell again by herself, [even] in Jerusalem.

En aquel día pondré los capitanes de Judá como un brasero de fuego en leña, y como una hacha de fuego en gavillas; y consumirá a diestro y a siniestro todos los pueblos al derredor, y Jerusalem será habitada otra vez en su lugar, en Jerusalem.

7 And the Lord shall save the tabernacles of Juda as at the beginning, that the boast of the house of David, and the pride of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, may not magnify themselves against Juda.

Y guardará Jehová las tiendas de Judá como en el principio, porque la gloria de la casa de David, y del morador de Jerusalem no se engrandecerá sobre Judá.

8 And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] the Lord shall defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and the weak one among them in that day shall be as David, and the house of David as the house of God, as the angel of the Lord before them.

En aquel día Jehová defenderá al morador de Jerusalem; y el que entre ellos fuere flaco en aquel tiempo, será como David; y la casa de David, como Dios, como el ángel de Jehová delante de ellos.

9 And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

Y será, que en aquel día yo procuraré quebrantar todas las naciones que vinieren contra Jerusalem.

10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and compassion: and they shall look upon me, because they have mocked [me], and they shall make lamentation for him, as for a beloved [friend], and they shall grieve intensely, as for a firstborn [son].

Y derramaré sobre la casa de David, y sobre los moradores de Jerusalem, espíritu de gracia y de oración: mirarán en mí, a quien traspasaron; y harán llanto sobre él, como llanto que se hace sobre unigénito, afligiéndose sobre él como quien se aflige sobre primogénito.

11 In that day the lamentation in Jerusalem shall be very great, as the mourning for the pomegranate grove cut down in the plain.

En aquel día habrá gran llanto en Jerusalem, como el llanto de Adadremón en el valle de Mageddón.

12 And the land shall lament in separate families, the family of the house of David by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of the house of Nathan by itself, and their wives by themselves;

Y la tierra lamentará: cada linaje de por sí: el linaje de la casa de David por sí, y sus mujeres por sí: el linaje de la casa de Natán por sí, y sus mujeres por sí:

13 the family of the house of Levi by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of Symeon by itself, and their wives by themselves;

El linaje de la casa de Leví por sí, y sus mujeres por sí: el linaje de Semeí por sí, y sus mujeres por sí:

14 all the families that are left, each family by itself, and their wives by themselves.

Todos los otros linajes, los linajes por sí, y sus mujeres por sí.
