< Psalms 60 >

1 For the end, for them that shall yet be changed; for an inscription by David for instruction, when he [had] burned Mesopotamia of Syria, and Syria Sobal, and Joab [had] returned and struck [in] the valley of salt twelve thousand. O God, you have rejected and destroyed us; you have been angry, yet have pitied us.
Wɔde ma dwonkyerɛfo. Wɔto no sɛnea wɔto “Susan Edut.” Dawid “Miktam” dwom. Wɔde yɛ nkyerɛkyerɛ. Ɔtoo no bere a ɔne Aram Naharanfo ne Aram Zobafo koe na Yoab san kokum Edomfo mpem dumien wɔ Nkyene Bon mu no. Onyankopɔn, woapo yɛn, woabɔ yɛn agu; wo bo afuw yɛn, nanso gye yɛn bio!
2 You have shaken the earth, and troubled it; heal its breaches, for it has been shaken.
Woawosow asase no na woapae mu; toatoa nea abubu no, efisɛ ɛrehinhim.
3 You have shown your people hard things: you has made us drink the wine of astonishment.
Woama wo nkurɔfo ahu mmere bɔne; woama yɛn nsa a ɛma yɛtɔ ntintan.
4 You have given a token to them that fear you, that they might flee from the bow. (Pause)
Nanso wɔn a wosuro wo de, woama wɔn frankaa so sɛ wontu ntia agyan no.
5 That your beloved ones may be delivered; save with your right hand, and hear me.
Gye yɛn nkwa na fa wo nsa nifa boa yɛn, na ama wɔn a wodɔ wɔn no anya nkwa.
6 God has spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, and divide Sicima, and measure out the valley of tents.
Onyankopɔn akasa afi ne kronkronbea se, “Nkonim mu, mɛkyɛ Sekem mu, na masusuw Sukot bon no.
7 Galaad is mine, and Manasse is mine; and Ephraim is the strength of my head;
Gilead yɛ me de; Manase nso saa ara; Efraim yɛ me dade kyɛw, Yuda yɛ mʼahempema.
8 Judas is my king; Moab is the caldron of my hope; over Idumea will I stretch out my shoe; the Philistines have been subjected to me.
Moab yɛ me guasɛn, Edom so na metow me mpaboa gu; na meteɛ mu nkonimdi so gu Filistifo so.”
9 Who will lead me into the fortified city? who will guide me as far a Idumea?
Hena na ɔde me bɛkɔ kuropɔn a wɔabɔ ho ban no mu? Hena na obedi mʼanim akɔ Edom?
10 Will not you, O God, who have cast us off? and will not you, O God, go forth with our forces?
Onyankopɔn, ɛnyɛ wo na woapo yɛn na wo ne yɛn asraafo nkɔ ɔsa bio ana?
11 Give us help from trouble: for vain is the deliverance of man.
Boa yɛn tia ɔtamfo no, na ɔdesani mmoa nka hwee.
12 In God will we do valiantly; and he shall bring to nothing them that harass us.
Onyankopɔn wɔ yɛn afa yi, yebedi nkonim, na obetiatia yɛn atamfo so.
