< Psalms 53 >

1 For the end, [a Psalm] of David upon Maeleth, of instruction. The fool has said in his heart, There is no God. They have corrupted [themselves], and become abominable in iniquities: there is none that does good.
To the choirmaster on Mahalath a poem of David. He says a fool in heart his there not [is] a god they act corruptly and they act abominably unrighteousness there not [is one who] does good.
2 God looked down from heaven upon the sons of men, to see if there were any that understood, or sought after God.
God from heaven he looks down on [the] children of humankind to see ¿ [is] there [one who] acts prudently [one who] seeks God.
3 They have all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that does good, there is not even one.
All of it he turns back together they are corrupt there not [is one who] does good there not also [is] one.
4 Will none of the workers of iniquity know, who devour my people as they would eat bread? they have not called upon God. There were they greatly afraid, where there was no fear:
¿ Not do they know [those who] do wickedness [those who] devour people my they eat bread God not they call on.
5 or God has scattered the bones of the men-pleasers; they were ashamed, for God despised them.
There - they feared a fear [which] not it was fear for God he has scattered [the] bones of [one who] encamped against you you have put [them] to shame for God he has rejected them.
6 Who will bring the salvation of Israel out of Sion? When the Lord turns the captivity of his people, Jacob shall exult, and Israel shall be glad.
Who? will he give [will be] from Zion [the] salvation of Israel when turns back God [the] captivity of people his let it be glad Jacob let it rejoice Israel.
