Psalms 40
1 For the end, a Psalm of David. I waited patiently for the Lord; and he attended to me, and listened to my supplication.
၁ငါသည်ဘုရားသခင်ကူမတော်မူမည်ကို သည်းခံစောင့်မျှော်လျက်နေသောအခါ ကိုယ်တော်သည်နားစွင့်တော်မူ၍ငါ၏ ဟစ်အော်သံကိုကြားတော်မူ၏။
2 And he brought me up out of a pit of misery, and from miry clay: and he set my feet on a rock, and ordered my goings aright.
၂ကိုယ်တော်သည်ကြောက်မက်ဖွယ်ကောင်းသည့် တွင်းနှင့်ရွှံ့နွံထဲမှငါ့ကိုဆွဲတင်တော်မူ၏။ ထိုနောက်ငါ့အားကျောက်ပေါ်တွင်တင်၍ ထားတော်မူပြီးလျှင်လုံခြုံမှုကိုပေးတော်မူ၏။
3 And he put a new song into my mouth, [even] a hymn to our God: many shall see [it], and fear, and shall hope in the Lord.
၃ငါတို့၏ဘုရားအားထောမနာပြုရာ သီချင်းသစ်ကိုဆိုရန်ကိုယ်တော်သည်ငါ့အား သင်ကြားပေးတော်မူ၏။ ယင်းသို့ပြုတော်မူသည်ကိုမြင်ကြရသူ တို့သည် ကြောက်ရွံ့ရိုသေကြကုန်လျက် ထာဝရဘုရားအားကိုးစားကြလိမ့်မည်။
4 Blessed [is] the man whose hope is in the name of the Lord, and [who] has not regarded vanities and false frenzies.
၄အခြားဘုရားများကိုမဆည်းကပ်၊ မိစ္ဆာဘုရားများကိုရှိမခိုးဘဲထာဝရဘုရားအား ကိုးစားသူသည်မင်္ဂလာရှိ၏။
5 O Lord my God, you have multiplied your wonderful works, and in your thoughts there is none who shall be likened to you: I declared and spoke [of them]: they exceeded number.
၅ကျွန်တော်မျိုး၏ဘုရားသခင်၊ထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်သည်ကျွန်တော်မျိုးအတွက် များစွာသောအမှုတို့ကိုပြုတော်မူပါပြီ။ ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်နှင့်နှိုင်းယှဉ်နိုင်သူတစ်ယောက် မျှမရှိပါ။ ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်ကျွန်တော်မျိုးတို့အတွက် ကြံစည်သောအကြံအစည်တော်တို့သည် အံ့သြဖွယ်ဖြစ်ပါ၏။ ထိုအမှုအရာတို့သည်များပြားလှသဖြင့် ယင်းတို့ကိုမရေမတွက်နိုင်ပါ။
6 Sacrifice and offering you would not; but a body have you prepared me: whole burnt offering and [sacrifice] for sin you did not require.
၆ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်သည်ယဇ်နှင့်ပူဇော်သကာများကို အလိုရှိတော်မမူပါ။ တိရစ္ဆာန်တစ်ကောင်လုံးမီးရှို့ရာ ယဇ်တို့ကိုလည်းကောင်း၊ အပြစ်ဖြေရာယဇ်တို့ကိုလည်းကောင်း ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်သည်တောင်းတော်မမူပါ။ သို့ရာတွင်ကိုယ်တော်သည်ကိုယ်တော်အား ကြားရန် ကျွန်တော်မျိုးအားနားကိုပေးတော်မူပါပြီ။
7 Then I said, Behold, I come: in the volume of the book it is written concerning me,
၇သို့ဖြစ်၍ကျွန်တော်မျိုးပြန်လျှောက်ထားပါ၏။ ``ကျွန်တော်မျိုးအသင့်ရှိပါ၏။ ကျွန်တော်မျိုးအတွက်ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်ပေးတော် မူသော ညွှန်ကြားချက်များသည်ပညတ်ကျမ်း၌ပါ ရှိပါ၏။
8 I desired to do your will, O my God, and your law in the midst of mine heart.
၈ကျွန်တော်မျိုး၏ဘုရား၊ကျွန်တော်မျိုးသည် ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်၏အလိုတော်ကိုလိုက်နာရန် လွန်စွာနှစ်သက်ပါ၏။ ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်၏တရားတော်ကိုစိတ်နှလုံး အတွင်း၌ မှတ်ကြုံးထားပါ၏။''
9 I have preached righteousness in the great congregation; behold! I will not refrain my lips; O Lord, you know my righteousness.
၉အို ထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကျွန်တော်မျိုးသည်ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်၏ လူစုတော်ဝင်အပေါင်းတို့စုဝေးရာ၌ ကျွန်တော်မျိုးတို့အားကိုယ်တော်ရှင် ကယ်တော်မူကြောင်းသတင်းကောင်းကို ပြောကြားပါ၏။ ဤအကြောင်းကိုကျွန်တော်မျိုးသည်အစဉ် မပြတ် ပြောကြားနေမည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်းကိုယ်တော်ရှင် သိတော်မူပါ၏။
10 I have not hid your truth within my heart, and I have declared your salvation; I have not hid your mercy and your truth from the great congregation.
၁၀ကျွန်တော်မျိုးသည်ကယ်တင်ခြင်းသတင်းတော်ကို မျိုသိပ်၍မထားပါ။ ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်၏သစ္စာတော်အကြောင်းနှင့် ကူမတော်မူခြင်းအကြောင်းတို့ကို အစဉ်ပင်ဖော်ပြခဲ့ပါ၏။ ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်၏လူစုတော်ဝင်အပေါင်းတို့ စုဝေးရာ၌ ကျွန်တော်မျိုးသည်ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်၏သစ္စာတော် အကြောင်းနှင့် ခိုင်မြဲသောမေတ္တာတော်အကြောင်းတို့ကို မထိမ်မဝှက်ပါ။
11 But you, Lord, remove not your compassion far from me; your mercy and your truth have helped me continually.
၁၁အို ထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်သည်ကျွန်တော်မျိုးအားအစဉ် သနားကြင်နာတော်မူမည်ကိုကျွန်တော် မျိုးသိပါ၏။ ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်၏မေတ္တာတော်နှင့်သစ္စာတော်သည် ကျွန်တော်မျိုးအားအစဉ်အမြဲစောင့်ထိန်းပါ လိမ့်မည်။
12 For innumerable evils have encompassed me; my transgressions have taken hold of me, and I could not see; they are multiplied more than the hairs of my head; and my heart has failed me.
၁၂ရေတွက်၍မရနိုင်အောင်များမြောင်သော ဘေးဒုက္ခတို့သည်ကျွန်တော်မျိုးအားဝိုင်းရံလျက် ရှိပါသည်တကား။ ကျွန်တော်မျိုး၏အပြစ်များကကျွန်တော်မျိုးအား လိုက်၍မီသဖြင့်ကျွန်တော်မျိုးသည် မမြင်နိုင်တော့ပါ။ ယင်းအပြစ်တို့သည်ကျွန်တော်မျိုးဦးခေါင်းမှ ဆံပင်ထက်များပြားသည်ဖြစ်၍ ကျွန်တော်မျိုးသည်စိတ်ပျက်အားလျော့ပါပြီ။
13 Be pleased, O Lord, to deliver me; O Lord, draw near to help me.
၁၃အို ထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကျွန်တော်မျိုးအားကယ်တော်မူပါ။ ယခုပင်ကူမတော်မူပါ။
14 Let those that seek my soul, to destroy it, be ashamed and confounded together; let those that wish me evil be turned backward and put to shame.
၁၄ကျွန်တော်မျိုးအားသတ်ရန်ကြိုးစားကြသူ တို့သည် လုံးဝအရေးရှုံးနိမ့်၍ကစဥ့်ကရဲဖြစ်ကြ ပါစေသော။ ကျွန်တော်မျိုး၏ဒုက္ခများကိုအကြောင်းပြု၍ ဝမ်းမြောက်ကြသူတို့သည်တပ်လန်၍ အရှက်ကွဲရကြပါစေသော။
15 Let those that say to me, Aha, aha, quickly receive shame for their reward.
၁၅ကွန်တော်မျိုးအားပြောင်လှောင်ကြသူတို့သည် အရေးရှုံးနိမ့်၍တုန်လှုပ်ချောက်ချားကြပါစေ သော။
16 Let all those that seek you, O Lord, exult and rejoice in you; and let them that love your salvation say continually, The Lord be magnified.
၁၆ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်၏ထံတော်သို့ချဉ်းကပ်ကြသူ အပေါင်းတို့သည်ဝမ်းမြောက်ရွှင်လန်းကြပါစေသော။ ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်၏ကယ်တင်ခြင်းကျေးဇူးအတွက် ကျေးဇူးတော်ကိုချီးမွမ်းကြသူအပေါင်းတို့ သည် ``ထာဝရဘုရားသည်အလွန်ကြီးမြတ်တော်မူ ပါပေသည်'' ဟု အစဉ်မပြတ်ချီးကူးနိုင်ကြပါစေသော။
17 But I am poor and needy; the Lord will take care of me; you are my helper, and my defender, O my God, delay not.
၁၇အို ဘုရားရှင်၊ ကျွန်တော်မျိုးသည်အားအင်ချိနဲ့၍ ခိုကိုးရာမဲ့သူဖြစ်သော်လည်း ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်သည်ကျွန်တော်မျိုးကို သတိရတော်မူပါ၏။ ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်သည်ကျွန်တော်မျိုး၏ကယ်တင်ရှင်၊ ကျွန်တော်မျိုး၏ဘုရားသခင်ဖြစ်တော်မူပါ၏။ ကျွန်တော်မျိုးအားကူမတော်မူရန်အလျင် အမြန် ကြွတော်မူပါ။
