Psalms 19

1 For the end, a Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament proclaims the work of his hands.

Los cielos cuentan la gloria de Dios; y el extendimiento denuncia la obra de sus manos.

2 Day to day utters speech, and night to night proclaims knowledge.

El un día pronuncia palabra al otro día, y la una noche a la otra noche declara sabiduría.

3 There are no speeches or words, in which their voices are not heard.

No hay dicho, ni palabras, ni es oída su voz.

4 Their voice is gone out into all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world.

En toda la tierra salió su línea, y al cabo del mundo sus palabras: para el sol puso tabernáculo en ellos.

5 In the sun he has set his tabernacle; and he comes forth as a bridegroom out of his chamber: he will exult as a giant to run his course.

Y él como un novio que sale de su tálamo, alégrase, como un gigante, para correr el camino.

6 His going forth is from the extremity of heaven, and his circuit to the [other] end of heaven: and no one shall be hidden from his heat.

Del un cabo de los cielos es su salida, y rodea por sus cabos; y no hay quien se esconda de su calor.

7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting souls: the testimony of the Lord is faithful, instructing babes.

La ley de Jehová perfecta, que vuelve el alma, el testimonio de Jehová fiel, que hace sabio al pequeño.

8 The ordinances of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is bright, enlightening the eyes.

Los mandamientos de Jehová rectos, que alegran el corazón: el precepto de Jehová puro, que alumbra los ojos.

9 The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring for ever and ever: the judgments of the Lord are true, [and] justified altogether.

El temor de Jehová limpio que permanece para siempre, los derechos de Jehová, verdad, todos justos.

10 To be desired more than gold, and much precious stone: sweeter also than honey and the honey-comb.

Deseables más que el oro, y más que mucho oro afinado: y dulces más que miel, y que licor de panales.

11 For your servant keeps to them: in the keeping of them [there is] great reward.

Tu siervo también es amonestado con ellos: en guardarlos, gran salario.

12 Who will understand [his] transgressions? purge you me from my secret [sins].

Los errores, ¿quién los entenderá? de los encubiertos líbrame.

13 And spare your servant [the attack] of strangers: if they do not gain the dominion over me, then shall I be blameless, and I shall be clear from great sin.

Asimismo de las soberbias detén a tu siervo, que no se enseñoreen de mí: entonces seré perfecto, y seré limpio de gran rebelión.

14 So shall the sayings of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be pleasing continually before you, O Lord my helper, and my redeemer.

Sean voluntarios los dichos de mi boca; y el pensamiento de mi corazón delante de ti, o! Jehová, roca mía, y mi redentor.
