Psalms 141

1 A Psalm of David. O Lord, I have cried to you; hear me: attend to the voice of my supplication, when I cry to you.

Un salmo de David. Yahvé, te he invocado. ¡Vengan a mí rápidamente! Escucha mi voz cuando te llamo.

2 Let my prayer be set forth before you as incense; the lifting up of my hands [as] an evening sacrifice.

Que mi oración sea puesta ante ti como un incienso; la elevación de mis manos como el sacrificio de la tarde.

3 Set a watch, O Lord, on my mouth, and a strong door about by lips.

Pon un reloj, Yahvé, delante de mi boca. Guarda la puerta de mis labios.

4 Incline not my heart to evil things, to employ pretexts for sins, with me who work iniquity: and I will not. let me not unite with their choice ones.

No inclines mi corazón a ninguna cosa mala, para practicar obras de maldad con los hombres que obran la iniquidad. No me dejes comer de sus manjares.

5 The righteous shall chasten me with mercy, and reprove me: but let not the oil of the sinner anoint my head: for yet shall my prayer also be in their pleasures.

Que el justo me golpee, es la bondad; que me reprenda, es como el aceite en la cabeza; no dejes que mi cabeza lo rechace; Sin embargo, mi oración es siempre contra las malas acciones.

6 Their mighty ones have been swallowed up near the rock: they shall hear my words, for they are sweet.

Sus jueces son arrojados a los lados de la roca. Escucharán mis palabras, porque están bien dichas.

7 As a lump of earth is crushed upon the ground, our bones have been scattered by the [mouth of] the grave. (Sheol h7585)

“Como cuando se ara y se rompe la tierra, nuestros huesos están dispersos en la boca del Seol”. (Sheol h7585)

8 For mine eyes are to you, O Lord God: I have hoped in you; take not away my life.

Porque mis ojos están puestos en ti, Yahvé, el Señor. Me refugio en ti. No dejes mi alma desamparada.

9 Keep me from the snare which they have set for me, and from the stumbling blocks of them that work iniquity.

Guárdame de la trampa que me han tendido, de las trampas de los obreros de la iniquidad.

10 Sinners shall fall by their own net: I am alone until I shall escape.

Quelos malvados caigan juntos en sus propias redes mientras yo paso.
