< Psalms 131 >

1 A Song of Degrees. O Lord, my heart is not exalted, neither have mine eyes been [haughtily] raised: neither have I exercised myself in great [matters], nor in things too wonderful for me.
David ih kasang laa. Aw Angraeng, ka palungthin loe amoek ai, ka miknawk doeh sang ai; kaimah hoi amcuk ai kalen parai hmuennawk, to tih ai boeh loe kasang parai hmuennawk ah athumhaih ka tawn ai.
2 [I shall have sinned] if I have not been humble, but have exulted my soul: according to [the relation of] a weaned child to his mother, so will you recompense my soul.
Tangtang ni kai loe amno khae hoi tahnutui amphi nawkta baktiah, ka poekhaih hae mong moe, ka oh duem; ka poekhaih loe tahnutui amphi nawkta baktiah oh.
3 Let Israel hope in the Lord, from henceforth and for ever.
Aw Israel, vaihi hoi dungzan khoek to na oephaih to Angraeng khaeah suem ah.
